I am having a torrid time with LG Washing machine cum Dryer LG FHD1057SWS purchased on 17/01/21 and delivered in March 2021.(UNDER WARANTY AS ON DATE) From Day 01 o[censored]sage it leaves behind loads of lint after drying thereby spoiling expensive clothes and also blocking and damaging the machine. After 2-3 hours of drying loads of lint is left behind and clothes are still found wet or moist. Multiple visits were made by service center people and we were told to operate by different methods as suggested by them. However after 2 months of facing the same problem, we asked them to return the product and refund us the huge sum we paid (INR 66000) but LG kept on pestering that its all fine and technician will come and sort it out. Due to 2nd wave of Covid, we were stuck in a different city for close to 3 months and hence product was not really used. But after our return, the usual problem persisted and finally on 08/11/21, after months of facing the same torture we lodged customer care complaint…once again. When asked to take the product back and refund the money, to our shock the customer care lady told us to contact dealer who sold the product to ask to take the product and not LG...I mean seriously!!! Anyways they insisted on sending technician once again. He came on 09/11/21 and attended and the same song was sung as usual that we should operate in another new method. After he left things got worse and along with the improper drying and leaving behind lint, the machine started to leak water, drum got submerged in water and we had to shut the main supply which also feeds the kitchen, dishwasher etc as the dried clothes were now made wet by this improper machine function. When contacted the technician (Mr. Aryan) had the audacity to tell us that he cannot come and we should know how to operate product properly. To which he got responded properly and came back again and DECLARED electronic water valve faulty, got it cleaned it but problem persisted. I mean seriously...we are using all the modern equipment at our home from touch chimney to cooking range to dishwasher and we still are illiterate on how to use washing machine cum dryer??? When the product is faulty unfortunately the customer is made to feel incompetent!! Since no solution has been provided, an official grievance was raised with LG customer service head on 10/11/21.(Branch CCO Ms. Monica- [protected]) Multiple requests to take the product back and refund the money has been ignored till date. Technicians are sent to our home to spent 2 hours every time on their research, dirty the entire area and leave behind with no end result. Every day electricity and water is wasted for full day due to a faulty product.

THE ABOVE MESSAGE WAS POSTED ON 11/11/21 on national consumer helpline as it was only 3rd day of our ordeal.

After that multiple complaints were made to the LG CEO office online in these 35 days but only got one response for all my complaints——

Below are excerpts from some of the message sent to CEO office—-

01/12/21—
Based on my 3rd grievance mail directed to your office, Mr. Anand from head office called and asked us another 3 days time as the spare (water valve) is not in stock and needs to be procured. We had to explain to him again that-
1) Our initial and main complaint since the unit was delivered in March 2021 has always been unsatisfied and incomplete drying operation. Complaints were raised 3-4 times for this issue and we have requested to take the unit back and refund the amount, which wasn’t comprehended to by your team.
2) Based on our last complaint raised on 8th Nov 2021, Technician Mr. Aryan came to sort my above ongoing issue o[censored]nsatisfactory drying but ended up spoiling the so called VALVE, since then resulting in continuous water leaks and wastage.
My wife shared the pics and videos to him after he left raising alarm that the problem has turned into something else after his visit, to which he did not respond.
3) Because of this my machine is lying unserviceable and weekly I am spending close to ₹3000 for laundry services and unaccounted amount of water is being lost.
4) For days we are waiting for a technical representative to come and close this issue for us by taking this product away and refund us the amount. I wonder how with not a single visit yet your team decided on changing the valve?
The least we can accept is replacement with a new unit from stock but will never allow and accept any further repair on this machine as it is not caused by normal wear and tear but by improper servicing.

I am tired of explaining to whosoever calls from your team as they are not aware of the long pending inefficient drying problem and is directly looking to replace the (self inflicted by your team) damaged valve and make a stop gap arrangement which I will not accept!!!

My demands are return of the product and refund of the entire 66000₹…Alternately replace with a new product from stock.

Since I have been made to wait now for 21 days without using the machine and not even a single technical rep from LG visiting to check the issue and my request for product return, making us shell out weekly ₹3000 on laundry and massive water loss, I will not accept any valve replacement on this machine and demand RETURN, REFUND or least REPLACEMENT product immediately.
Appreciate if next call can be more sensible and approach oriented towards closure of this ASAP.

06/12/21—
It’s been a month since the machine is still unserviceable owing to worst possible maintenance by your service team.
No one bothered to call me up till yesterday inspite of repeated reminders through your office.
When this same product was being promoted in Instagram and it caught my attention, I posted the entire issue in your insta page with chats to and from your office, I started getting calls today from your offices.
Finally Mr. MurAli called and informed me the same old matter that the “valve” is likely to come in a day or two and he will get his training head to my home and replace the valve and then do ops chk and if all fine will leave the product as serviceable.
For your info, I have denied acceptance of his proposal for the simple fact that this valve did not get spoilt but was damaged by technician as I have already mentioned several times. The main problem was improper drying for which I kept on complaining but no one cared. I never complained about valve or water leakage problem as it started after Mr. Aryan attended to my product and spoilt it. Mr. MurAli is talking technical to me but not acknowledging the fact that why the valve for spoilt? I would have accepted his proposal if LG was proactive enough to my concern and repeated requests and suggested this within a week of my trouble….not when we have gone through trauma for a month without washing machine and spending thousands as laundry bills when I have clear Wtsapp chats as proof how the valve may have been spoilt after the attempted maintenance by your technician…..hence I will not accept to continue with a forcibly spoilt product at my home.
Your team has finally awaken after a month of my waiting and daily follow up. My wife has stayed back at home for days with no one turning up. Now I won’t accept any R&D at my home which is the plan to forcibly push the product on me.
My only option to you is to please come and take this DUMMY product from my home and refund me the entire amount plus my last one months laundry bills as compensation else get a fresh machine from store in place of this as exchange.
I will not use this spoilt product at my home even if you change valve or do any R&D especially after the amount of torture and trauma We have been made to go through by your inefficient team.
Same has been conveyed to Mr. MurAli as well as customer care supervisor Ms. Maria who was patient enough to hear my trauma and is going to file a response accordingly.
Please close this issue by refunding the amount or exchange the product.
I refuse to continue with this piece anymore.

Today on 13/12/21, we are into 35 days of complaint filed on 08/11/21 and my machine still is unserviceable and lies as a dummy piece at my home with continuously leaking water, wasting water and making me do 15 times a day main valve opening and closing to support other equipments and taps in kitchen and to prevent water logging due to filled washing machine drum.

Please help me overcome this ordeal….we simply want LG to take this product and refund us the amount so that we can purchase another machine and overcome this torture that my family is going through for last 35 days.

Dear Mr. CEO,

Refer all the chain of complaints made since 10/11/21 till date, finally Mr. Murali visited my home today with Training Head Mr. Irfan and Engineer Umapathe.

They changed the 4 way solenoid water valve (picture attached), which as per Mr. Murali had to be changed since it was the one allowing non stop water flow and over flow of water in my machine rendering the machine lying like a dummy piece for close to 40 days.

After changing the valve they did a wash and dry option on around 1.5kg clothes for a 30 minute wash and 01 hour drying cycle in Cupboard Dry mode (which as per them should give close to 95% and above drying).

As expected the problems faced by us from Day-1 o[censored]sing this product of incomplete drying persisted.
All the 03 of LG reps present at my home acknowledged the fact that even after using the Cupboard dry mode the clothes were still moist and needed air drying to be completely dry and can’t be put into the cupboard as it is as claimed by LG.

Quantity of lints left behind were comparatively less since it was only 1.5 kgs of clothes that was used for demo compared to its claimed capacity of 10.5/7kg. Our experience has been that the more clothes we use the more lints are left behind thereby spoiling my expensive clothes.

The comfort liquid in the tray as usual did not get used during the entire cycle and was left behind as always and Mr. Irfan had to drain it off from the tray. (picture attached)

Mr. Murali and Mr. Irfan acknowledged the facts as I have mentioned above which was practically seen and said that they would be filing their reports, pictures and feedback to the concern.

So the end result was that my 40 day wait for the water leakage to stop was attended to thus preventing further wastage of precious softened water but the actual problem of non usage of comfort liquid, absolutely improper drying and left behind lints still continues as it was from Day-1!!!

Thus the conclusion form my end is that the 66k product still does job of only a 20k washing machine and is useless when it comes to the drying function for which I paid 46k extra.

I have already briefed your team here that in this cold, humid and moist Bangalore winter the unit is practically useless to me as the damp weather won’t dry my clothes before 2-3 days and the entire point of having invested in this machine is useless, hence I continue to pay for laundry charges even as I write to you!!!

So please initiate return of this useless piece ASAP and refund me the entire MRP of 66000 and compensate me for the trauma of daily follow ups for 40 days in addition to all the laundry bills spent thus far so that I can go ahead and buy another machine.

Waiting for your team to respond in a conclusive manner and advice me on the pick up date for this machine return.

My laundry bills till date wef 09/11/21, the day washing machine started leaking and I had to stop using it is shared herewith.

And even now I am using laundry services, after the valve replacement yesterday, the heating function is not working as mentioned in my comment last night and as result can’t wash clothes as I have to hang dry them in this damp cold climate.

So my demand is return of product, refund of the entire cost of ₹66000, compensation of all the laundry bills due delay (38 days) in attending to my unit and compensation for the mental trauma and trouble which is incomparable.

The clothes washed and dried for 1:30 hours yesterday by LG team in CUPBOARD DRY MODE is still getting air dried at my home due to inefficient drying and damp weather.

After submitting update on my latest torture details with the LG WM cum Drier, mailed the same details to their CEO office immediately and their response was to contact Area Service Manager Mr. Kishore. I mean what audacity!!! Instead of calling the customer asking customer to follow up on close to a year long issue!!!
Anyhow the poor customer thst I am, called the person concerned and explained to him that only the valve had been replaced but open issues like inefficient drying and non consumption of detergent and comfort still persists, he says he will talk his colleague Mr. Murali and Mr. Irfan who visited our house and personally witnessed above issues after replacing the valve. Doesn’t bother to call back till 6 pm. Sees his Wtsapp for my messages, doesn’t bother to reply.
I give a call at 6 pm and says would revert….this is the service LG is providing and worst is CEO office is recommending painstaking customers to call these bunch of liars and careless people to follow up on long pending demand of refunding the amount for the machine rather than taking initiative to call customer and sort things!!!

My NCH complaint#3087170 was forcibly closed and now my new complaint#3213849 raised 02 days back again closed quoting previous complaint resolution as the reason….whereas both issues are same and are still open which LG doesn’t acknowledge.

I have just posted comments on their insta feed promoting their washing machine dryer as part of Lohri.

These guys are least bothered to attend my issue and forcibly pushing the faulty product on us.
Inspite of sharing the pictures and vdo in this forum, NCH site, Instagram and to their CEO office…they don’t bother to call.
When I get hold of their so called designated person Mr. Kishore, he acts innocent and unknown to any of my problems. Then he puts his technical head Irfan who visited my house and found problems of inefficient drying and non consumption of detergent and comfort from the soap tray starts lying over call and acts innocent and says when he checked Al less working fine hence Complaint closed.
I insisted to send go mahina and this time I will record all the proceedings….they don’t respond and doesn’t send anybody on 13, 14, 15 Jan.

My family and me have left Bangalore for atleast 3 months and this can’t be Avial le to attend to them to come at their own sweet time.

Hence this issue is open and my problems persists. Once we are back to Bangalore we will pursue it again because as a high paying consumer I feel completely let down by a renowned brand who is playing dirty business and mind games thinking that by these kind of arm twisting the consumer will get fed up and give up….which I will not!!!

This complaint is not to be closed till sorted!

This a template line that LG prefers to send me every time. whether it’s here, response from CEO office or consumer forum. You have even closed my complaint#3087170 on consumerhelpline.gov.in.

I was abroad and returned yesterday and washed my basic towels etc and as already informed earlier the problems persists….

03 hrs of cupboard dry followed by 03 hrs of cool down cycle doesn’t dry basic towels and undergarments….leaves lint as always….comforter and detergent doesn’t get in the machine and remains in the tray as always. These were observed by your technical team of Mr. Irfan and Mr. Murali too but they have gone back and given all ok report to your office.
I have to dry clothes on balcony flouting apartment rules all thanks to the expensive purchase that I made followed by tub wash to get rid of the lints.

So it’s high time for you to either sending me a new unit or refund me complete amount and compensation till date.

    Sent my husband's phone to LG through online service department. They received it 12/10/21. Purchased phone in February. Sent with paid receipt. They said motherboard was damaged. Cricket said it was the battery. Would not charge. This should be under warranty. They said I have to pay $99 to fix and $ 19.99 to send back. This is Ludacris! I paid $ 300 for the phone. My husband hardly used it. I am very upset with LG. I am not sending them more money. If they won't fix it then they should send it back to me for free. Please recommend on how to resolve this.       They are using the TV to make me do bad things or things that favering them only. They are watching all and every move I make in my room and house. If I go to the toilet in a time they don't want me to go to the toilet, the TV will start flickering. If I watche a live game without their permission, the TV will misbehave and disturbe my mood. I use SunDirect DTH, if I try connect the DTH to my new LG TV which is 1 year old, that TV completely rejects the DTH, it fully flickering. For weeks I have no access to DTH TV services even though I pay for it. The 1st LG started misbehaving right after the warranty period was over which was 1 year. I called LG customer exicutive at my home, he said to replace the main board, I didn't do that, the TV continued working misbehaving to me for years. Now it is warning me that it is gonna permanently go off on me. I know the TV can work for many more years. What can be done here?

        In the Year 2014, I have purchased an LG Product BH9530TW. In 7 years, I am experiencing a malfunction in the device. The Device was a High-end Model and was believed It will deliver the best rest of my lifetime.
        However, It doesn't meet out my basic expectation.
        RNP[protected] has been raised to repair the issue. LG doesn't even care about the product they sell. A third party is handling the case and no proper response from the LG Area Manager.
        This sort of approach makes me annoying and loosing my huge money invested in an unworthy product.

        It has been fixed and started troubling me in another way. B-ray CD/DVD drive is not ejecting the disc properly.
        I am waiting for an update from the Coimbatore HO. I was asked to provide a Bill copy of the purchase and it has been sent over Whats app.

          I lodge a complaint of not working of my refrigerator serial#NO807KRBY2R973 since last 3 weeks and it yet to get rectified. Even purchasing so high end machine and above to that i have paid AMC charges also… nobody is from LG is interested to rectify the problem on priority..

            These guys have no shame. 3 months on a single product and still pending. Keeps extending every 2 weeks.
            And full of waste support
            "Your case is priority..." Everytime priority. And does nothing. Customers are pupets and joke to them.

              I bought a $1000 52" TV, and its comes with stickcers on the screen that say "DO NOT TOUCH THE SCREEN LIFT FROM THE SIDDES BECAUSE IT WILL CASUE DAMAGE"...

              I do exactly that, but when I peel the stickers off there are two huge 12 centimetre long by 2 centimetre wide adhesive stains left on my screen.

              I reported this right away, and I was told they would get back to me in a day or so. weeks later I had to call back and all i was told was to purchase GO GOONE or something along those lines to clean it...

              I never realized that buying $1000 tvs requires you go to a store and spend more money to clean it so you can actually view your screen, because LG does not package their products properly. Shouldn't this cleaner be included if the stickers they use damage the tvs?

              I was insulted over the phone by a so called manager.. Not to mention they record calls without letting the customer know or give permission like every other customer support system does..

              Worst experience of my life and i will never buy a LG product again...

                The LRTLS2403S 'new model' purchased recently has a wsyer dispenser Installed and it works great. It is "icemaker ready" so we ordered an icemaker but after installing the icemaker, I discovered the plug on the refrigerator for the icemaker plugs in where the water dispenser is. Apparently only one device can be used... perhaps there is a duel solenoid with the proper connection but the LG Customer Service is so bad. We can't find a solution.

                  The above Refrigerator has not been working for the last 1 month. Complaint was made on 7/11/21 and despite the fact that the fridge is under AMC, the company's response and service has been deplorable.

                  The technicians have visited and inspected about 4 times in the last 1 month but they seem to be not diagnosing the issue deliberately.

                  The company has put us thru great hardship by not finding the cause of failure of the fridge and by not setting it right for such a long time.

                  It is highly unfair on the part of the company to not honour the AMC and cause so much inconvenience to the customer.

                  We are definitely taking legal recourse if the company does not compensate our loss by buying back the refrigerator and repaying the amc amt paid.

                  We are frustrated with this fridge and solicit immediate action to repair or buy back from us.

                    My name is chaitanya, my father has brought lg dish washer which doesn't seem to match with the actual performance mentioned in few lg sites, according the information provided online the product has to resume its cycle accordingly when power comes back but our product cycle of washing dishes starts from the beginning instead of restarting from the position its stopped which directly leading to more power consumption which is a huge loss for the customer. Infact many such customers have raised their voice in the form of complaint regarding the same as fraud as its inappropriate information provided to customers so, Please help out with this .Here are few snaps attached for confirmation of my concern, please do find the attachments.

                      On 30/10/2021, I visited LG Brand Store (Adishwar India Limited), Rajarajeshwarinagar, Bengaluru and I explained my requirement of a 3 Star LG Double Door Refrigerator (2021 Model). The executive showed me a model and told me that it's a 3 star 2021 model LG Double Door Refrigerator. Further, believing the words of the executive, I booked LG Double Door refrigerator at LG Brand Store (Adishwar India Limited), Rajarajeshwarinagar, Bengaluru as per my requirement on 30/10/2021 through my HDFC Credit Card opting for 6 EMI transactions amounting Rs. 25500/- and requested the delivery of the product on 07/11/2021. On 02/11/2021, I verified the product number printed on the bill and it was GL-T292RPZY. Further, I verified the product number with the LG online store & few e-commerce website and I found that the product with the number mentioned on the bill is a 2 Star LG Double Door Refrigerator (2020 Model) and the price was also on the higher side. On 06/11/2021, I visited LG Brand Store (Adishwar India Limited), Rajarajeshwarinagar, Bengaluru and gave a request for cancellation of the product as per the communication. On 15/11/2021, I received a mail from Adishwar team mentioning that the entire amount which I have paid has been initiated and it will be credited back to the credit card account within 5 days. Further, I enquired with HDFC bank about the refund and came to know that the refund was not initiated from the merchant end. My HDFC credit card statement was generated on 17/11/2021 and there is EMI processing charges and GST that has been put up on the transaction which sum up to nearly Rs.500/- for 6 months EMI. On 22/11/2021, I again contacted Adishwar team and explained them that the refund has not been initiated and provided them with my savings bank account details as per the request from them for initiating the refund. On 29/11/2021, an amount of only Rs.24417/- has been credited to my savings bank account instead of Rs.25500/- and telling me now that the remaining amount will be credited to my account after 90 days. Now that, I need the remaining amount of Rs.1083+500 to be credited back to my account as early as possible since the mistake was totally from Adishwar.                         My refridgerator was destroyed by a LG repairment that came to repair it for not cooling. He broke the line inside the cabinet and was advised by his boss to try to repair it. He tried welling the line back together and caught the inside mechanism on fire. I have been trying to work with CS for about a month and have been given the runaround. This is unacceptable! I have spent several hours on the phone and have been lied to several times. I feel that my only recourse is to seek legal representation and report to BBB. You can't come in and break something and not repair/replace it. I have text messages from serviceman and video that he was here and did the damage. He provided me with the Tcc#[protected] via Text message deeming my appliance unrepairable. It is much easier to do the right thing but if you guys choose not to I will continue to advocate until you do so. I certainly don't have great reviews for LG at this point and will advise anyone that's considering to purchase any LG product not to do so.

                          Worst and Pathetic customer service at Innovative Service at Chogam Road Behind Amberkar Temple, will advised every one never to visit Innovative service, given my Lg refrigation one month back on 10 oct 2021 complaint no RNP[protected] for coil replacement (Deforst Isuue) but till date nothing has been done and charged rs 400 for inspection charges
                          Staff technician Mr Viraj never call to tell the status, (He think he is the owner of LG company) every time we have to call them for checking the status. Also was told parts are ordered frm Blr will take time, parts have come to stores but the have not replaced.
                          Worst Worst Worst worst Worst Pathetic, disgraded, unsatisfactory service from Innovative Service really disappointed.
                          Have sent mails to CEO escalation dest and customer service desk but no proper response till date and no action taken against the service dealer Innovative Services Chogam Road Porvorim.

                            Pathetic and very unprofessional people i would say.

                            I had bought LG Products TV and Fridge last year and the day i bought, there was a lockdown imposed within the same week by government and everything was closed for 1 year.. When i bought these products from kohinoor i had CLEARLY STATED THAT I WILL BE HAVING MY HOUSE RENOVATION.. Due to lockdown, my renovation was pending.. Now finally when everything is done, i got to know my remote control isn't working to which i had raised a complaint. Without anyone visiting and even knowing it what's the issue, LG is demanding of charges which is unfair. The reason i am being provided is out of warranty. Can anyone tell me how is this out of warranty when the whole world was imposed with lockdown for one year..
                            **** FYI - when i got my fridge delivered, the fridge was also damaged and i had to wait for 3 months just for the replacement even after making full payment.. When i as a customer can understand the genuine issues and lockdown, why can't LG do the same for their customers..
                            I had ordered 5 products out of which i received 2.. These 2 were received in a damage condition. If this is how LG is looking at customers and not providing any services, I don't think i need to buy anymore products and neither should i recommend any of my friends to buy..

                                  We purchase fan from pai electronics brahmavara on feb 2021 and they said warranty and bill are altogether and packed it we beleuved them and came back fan was wirking fine until few days back fan stopped working and we went to give it for repair with all the documents they gave us same as it we produced to them and they said warranty was not there it was not given to us by their side and they r blaming us for it. And today when store manager called us he was super rude and he doesnt know how to talk to customers instead of sorting the issue he was pulling fight with us we were calmly asking him wat is the alternative he was replying wat too rudely. Brahmavara is a small town with less ppl who will get fooled easily and pai international employees are fooling them very nicely by not giving them warranty card and later calling customers and abusing them. Didnt expect this from them. Please escalate this matter and we need a solution for our problem asap. We paid bucks to get things not to get abused when things dont work. Mistake was from their end and we r being punished.

                                  Please look into this matter thorougly we have immense trust that u will help us.

                                      We have purchased samsung refrigerator of 580 ltrs with invoice nunber HCWH-33184 on[protected] at Malakpet Hyderabad. Due to breadth of fridge and installation guy said we can't install the fridge and was not informed about return policy . Now we have requested for refund of amount or for another small fridge to adjust with in the bill. Service is worst and cannot get the proper response .. earlier they said we can give new refrigerator by adjusting bill but now they intentionally delay mow saying cannot do anything ..

                                        I wish to complain about the Air Conditioner that I purchased on 4th September 2021.

                                        I am complaining because the cooling of the air conditioner is not satisfied. I had problem with the LG installation team from the time of installation. The gas was not tightened properly and they again refilled the whole gas, the total installation was bad.

                                        I won't recommend your shop anymore to my Circles
