I have a LG split air conditioner(in fact I have total 3 LG AC), which is under AMC with LG. The problem with my AC is that it does not cool adequately, so I registered a complaint (request no. RNA[protected] with LG customer service on 30/05/2012. The customer care executive assured me that I would get a call from the LG technician within 2 hrs(anyway I didn't got a call within said time) and my complaint will be attended within next 24 hrs.( this too didn't happen). The LG technician visited my place on 01/06/2012 and told me that there is a gas leakage and the unit needs to be taken to the service centre, for which he charged me 281 Rs. for transportation. The technician assured me that the transportation guys will come the next day and take the AC to the service centre, but as expected nobody showed up on the said day. I called the LG service centre( GENNEXT SERVICES authorised LG service centre) which is at a stone's throw away from my home, to know the reason; but got no satisfactory answer from the person online( VAIBHAV). My AC is still lying home till date (05/06/2012), even after registering the complaint and making so many follow-ups, So what's the use of my AMC with LG???????? This is the peak summer time and I am unable to use the product for the purpose I have bought it. This is how LG makes peoples LIFE GOOD.
Please make a note that I have been facing the same problem for the last one year but no permanent solution has been worked out, everytime the LG technicians take my AC to the service centre make some temporary adjustments and deliver it back tome after1-2 weeks, again after a month or so the same problem surfaces and again the same procedure is repeated. Actually I'm tired of this; LG please take a note and try and make my LIFE GOOD !!!!!!!!!!!!.

    I purchased LG AC 1.5 Ton LWA19F2RDE5. Gas leaks from this AC every year. Worried about this, I took a prepaid AMC for this after the warranty was over. Following will tell you about there service standard.

    - 27th May Morning - I lodged a complaint that my AC is not cooling.
    -27th May 1500hrs - I received request number RNA[protected].
    -29th May 1600hrs - An engineer calls me up and tells me that he will come on 30th. I insist that the requirement is urgent so he comes on 29th evening and says that AC will need to be taken to the workshop. Despite being in AMC, transportation charges are taken from me in advance. Upon asking if these shouldn't be paid after repair, I am told, this is company policy. If I don't pay transportation charges in advance, AC won't be repaired. So I pay up.
    -30th May - Nothing happens. Nobody picks up the AC. Nobody calls for when it would be pickedup.
    -31st May 1700hrs - I am told that AC will be picked up next day. Can't be picked up today because it is already 5PM. I am promised that it will be delivered back repaired within 01 day of pickup.
    -01 Jun 1200hrs - AC is picked up. On the pick up challan is written very very urgent.
    -04 Jun 1200 hrs - AC has not yet come back after filling up the gas. I call up maintenance center and they say they will call me back after finding out the details or I should call after 01 hour. I call up again after one hour and I am told to call after lunch.

    I have already spend hours of my time and money in calling up the maintenance workshop and the engineer who visited.

    Any time you call up customer care you feel they don't care. For everything there answer is, we will contact you in 48 hours.

    So in this Delhi Heat with temperature of 45 degree plus, I am without an AC for 09th day today.

    I made a mistake of buying an LG product. I won't repeat this mistake. I hope this review helps potential customers in realizing that LG after sales service is of no use at all.

      Dear sir,

      I purchased LG P689 model from Maxtel, basavanagudi bangalore. within 1 month i started facing heating issue with my mobile. when i gave my mobile for servicing at LG service center KR road bangalore through Maxtel. and after 2 days of inspection service center told me the problem is due to USB Adapter and they changed my adapter. it was gauranteed to me that heating problem will not appear again.
      within two hours of service i faced same heating issue with my mobile again and this time service person said heating is due to profile settings of the mobile which was same during first service.
      I wrote 2 mails regarding same to [protected]@lge.com regarding same and there is no response from them on the matter.

      It is very painful as consumer to run around service center for the fault of company as they sold such mobile and charger to me. and when i asked dealer to provide me replacement for the mobile he refused and said once the mobile is sold then he doenst have any role to play and said i need to talk to service center on replacement. when i asked service center on replacement they said it is not possible and i need to roam when ever i face such issues.
      it is very painful to know in India consumers are left without any help.
      please help me in getting mobile replacement as it is difficult for me to leave my duty and run around service center every time.

        LG AC — Noisy AC

        I bought a LG window AC 2 months ago. Until 2 weeks ago it was working fine. From that time on, the noise levels in the AC are disturbing and loud. I can hardly get any sleep. please suggest me a solution. Additionally can someone please recommend another company which have good AC's ?

          this is to register a complaint against LG air conditioner service centre. The service center, once you register a complaint bars your number - you can keep trying but it will always give an engaged tone till atleast a day from the time you make a complaint. The engineer never calls you back, and done not even pick up our phone. I would also like to put it in writing that LG erases all the history of your complaint once you call them again - I have made complaint with LG three times in May but in their records there is only one complaint. On top of that they have like Pankaj Choudhary as customer service agents who speak rudely and do not provide a resolution. Pathetic Customer Service. Dont buy LG products EVER!

            We are having facing lot of problem and extremely dissappointed with LG AC and LG Customer Care Services both.
            We purchased the AC in september 2011 and is under gaurantee by LG till september 2012.

            Problems with AC
            AC doesn't cool sometimes it gives code error H1 for about half an our or more.
            AC is not at all cooling the room less than temperature 30 degrees.
            AC is throwing water many times.


            We logged a complaint with complaint number RNA[protected] for the AC on the 30th May, 2012 with executive Raj at customer care .
            He said engineer will approach you within 24 hours. 3 days have been passed, no body even called us.

            On, 2nd June, we called customer care again, and informed him again with the exisiting complaint number, the executive, Happy, said I am putting your complaint on urgent basis and engineer will reach you soon. After waiting for around 1 hour in room with has non-cooling LG AC under warranty, we have not received any call from anybody from LG. We called back again to the customer care, and there was a new executive sitting there to fool the customers, he given us mobile number-[protected] of LG, Ghaziabad, which is always coming busy for last five hours. We called again to the customer care, and asking to give us exact time, when the engineer will reach us? He said you can speak to our senior named Pooja Mathur, her number-[protected] is also going busy since 5 hours.In a day we had called 'n' number of times at your customer care number but no response.

            Summer season is going on, not winter that we can wait for such a long time for your service person to come.

            Name of your executives to whom we spoke today- Raj, Kuldeep, Happy & Priyanka.
            We want our issue to get solved today itself at any cost.

            On, 2nd night around 1.30 am, when the heat was intolerable, we called [protected], [protected] number many times but no one picked up, in the morning we received a call from [protected] and he told our engineer will reach you at 9-9.30 am surely. But it was all waste.

            Now Customer care executives are putting the call on hold always and the above numbers are not picking up the phone.

            We dont know from where we can repair this AC, should we go to any repairing shop and pay money for a gauranteed AC by LG. Where should we complaint as no one from LG is interested, where is the higher authority than LG?

            LG 1.5ton AC — Customer Care

            I have lodged a complaint regarding the LG 1.5 ton Ac last month.
            A service representative visited my place and repaired the AC and charged me 3 thousand. Even i have applied for AMC on paying some amount.
            But with in one week of time, the Ac again encountered same problem.
            On 9th of this month, I have lodged a complaint.
            Complaint No : C[protected]
            I have called them 12 times till today but no one visited my house and yesterday i.e 14th April, i got a message saying that the complaint is closed
            and the reason is 'Customer Dont want Service'.
            Even after recieving the mesage i have called the customer care but got a very rude answer from them.
            Even their online supports is unable to log a complaint, on writing the complaint message, a blank page comes. See attachment.

              Reference Complaint No. RNA[protected], Dated 15th May, 2012. Window A/C was reported for gas refilling
              Issues:-
              1. Wrong complaint was registered by Customer care representative on 10th May, 12 . A/c complaint was given and washing machine complaint was registered.
              2. After registering the complaint on 15th May and several reminders, a/c unit was analysed by expert at my home and a quote of Rs. 2000 was given whereas customer care representative gave estimate of Rs. 1350( all inclusive).
              3. Further , the expert offered to repair it on his personal level ( without registering with LG) at a price of Rs. 1500.
              4. Complaint was again registered to customer center, who where not capable to handle the issue and provided the contact number of Ms.Manjari Yadav ( Apoorva Service). She was not at all helpful and didn't took the complaint seriously.
              5.After 1 month struggle and paying Rs. 1713 {Invoice No.00020 - which is more than amount quoted by CC Representative} A/C unit was received back and the problem is still the same.
              6. Again the complaint is registered. Ref. RNA[protected].

              Looking forward for some serious action against concerned people and rectification of A/C .

                I had written to to LG regarding the re instillation of my Air Conditioner as I had shifted my residence which was working perfectly earlier. Ever since it was reinstalled it has not been working at all. I raised a 1st service request as the power was not moving to the unit but was very much available in the stabilizer, for which the technician came and rectified, however to my dismay noticed that the compressor was continuously running as the room temperature was constantly at 26 degree centigrade, even while using the jet cool option. These issues where encountered only after the re instillation of the unit afresh and was never the case earlier. Now when I call up the service centre I have only evasive replies. Please help...

                Dear Sir

                I had raised a request for the re-instillation of my LG split AC unit vide service number RNA[protected], as I had shifted my residence to a new location. The service engineer who came for the instillation was clearly told that there would be a power cut from 4.00pm to 6.00pm, when he came to my residence me at 12 noon, saying that he would return in half an hour. He came back only at around 2.30 and the re instillation work was completed only at 3.45pm, when the unit worked for sometime and switched off once the power outage commenced.

                To my dismay noticed that when I switched on the unit after the resumption of power the unit was not responding though the power supply was moving upto the Power stabilizer. When I called the service engineer for help immediately, I was told that he would inspect the unit only tomorrow and I could go and complaint to who so ever I wanted.

                Clearly there is a deficiency of service and am quite surprised with the service render for which I have duly paid for. Please refer to the invoice 0894 dated 31/05/2012 amounting to Rs 1124/-. I would want immediate attention to this request for which I have already raised a fresh service request vide RNA[protected] for which no charges should be raised as there is clearly a deficiency in service at your end.

                  I purchased a semi automatic washing machine ( and many other home applicances) on Nov 26, 2010. My microwave stopped functioning and was repaired twice in Feb and May 2012 respectively and now my Semi Automatic Washing Machine (model 1262) the dryer has stopped functioning. I filed complaints twice. During the first attempt, the engineer visited and left stating that the machine is okay and when i filed the SECOND complaint, he has not visited at all. The second complaint for Washing machine was logged on 26 May and the reference no# is RNA[protected]. I was told that someone will call me in 2 hours and no one revert untill today. I proactively called the LG Engineer who was assigned for the repair work eralier for the Microwave and washing machine - Anand Patil [protected], he called me after 5 days of filing the complaint. He assured to repair my washing machine today i.e, June 02, but now he is asking us to file the complaint again since the erstwhile complaint is closed in 3 days (unattanded). I am EXTREMELY UNHAPPY AND HIGHLY DISSATIFIED from LG. Can anyone responsible person from LG take this complaint on priority basis and resolve my issue? Else i will be forced to dispose all the products - I own LG Microwave, 42 inches LCD, AC, microwave and Semi Automatic washing machine and i must admit, that LG does not make Life' Good - its actually makes LIFE' GROSS.

                    Subject: LG make Refrigerator Problem
                    I have lodged complain about my refrigerator on[protected], request ID was RNA[protected] and on[protected], request ID was RNA[protected]. I have also reminded on[protected] and[protected]. But till now I have not received any response.
                    Moreover I am sorry to say that my first complaint of[protected], request ID was RNA[protected] has been tempered by call centre and same request id bears other complaint. How it is possible that I have received message on my mobile and request ID bears other mobile number.
                    Same problem I have also faced last year regarding my AC complaint and even after great follow up I could not able to solve my AC problem no any service personal visited to check. That AC is still lying unsed.
                    I am afraid about same condition of my newly purchased refrigerator worth Rs. 25000.
                    Pl look up matter and resolve my problem as early as possible.

                      We have bought your LG Ac 8 ton as per we opened a new restaurant in chandigarh by LEMON FUSION name in Sec 35 c last year In november month .We are really very unhappy from your service portion.we ringed to the customer service care several times but they haven't done anything yet. We were facing this problem from last few days .The Guests those who visits to our RESTAURANT always use to complaint regarding AC COOLING PROBLEM.AT last on our head we brought a mechanic from outside to do the service and whom we paid 2000 for doing the service.Really this is the only reason of LG SALE DECREASING.
                      POOR SERVICE, NO VALUE FOR THE CUSTOMER , SUCH A IRRISPONSIBLE PERSONS YOU HAVE IN YOUR COMPANIES.

                      I have been continuously affected by no cooling complaint of My LG AC from last 1.5 months. Service centre people have taken ac 2 times at centre and visited 5 times at my home with no concrete analysis. they are just doing hit and trial. i have already paid 7000 for my AC and still suffering. now these person are simply unresponsive and giving me false commitments every day.their ASM peeyush srivastava is not picking up the phone.


                      I strongly suggest people that they should part their way from LG products.

                          My father (Sr citizen) registered a request to Service on 5th April , the Split AC(1.5) to LG Electronics : Job Card Nr : RNA[protected]. We hold a 2 years AMC: HLPLD007235. The LG Engg said that the Gas had leaked and even after the 2 years AMC Rs 250 was taken from my father. The Gas was filled by bringing cyclinder in house but the second day it leaked again. Even after continously tracking then LG service says the coil is unavailable.
                          Since last 50 days the Sr Citizens of our country are left at mercy of this LG electronics , the most pathetic service provider.

                          It is evident from above action taken by LG engineers were so far were simply an eye wash instead of a sincere attempt on the part of company to find the root cause of the problem by doing why - why analysis instead of following analysis by paralysis methods.

                          My request is not only to correct the problem ASAP but also provide compensation of Rs 12000 for suffering to my parents who are Sr citizens.

                            Dear complaint forum,

                            I purchased an LG refrigerator in[protected] from Subham Electronics Jorhat and on 11th May 2012 I had some problem in it. The defect was in plain language - the fridge does not turn cold but the power was working. I lodged a complaintt in the service centre on[protected], through telephone and the number is [protected] and the person operating the call bluntly replied that due to disturbance in electric power and load shedding they already have many complainants pending service and hence could not give me any probable day when they can turn up to examine my fridge but noted down my complaint my landmark and phone details. I patiently waited for a reply but I did not receive a single phone call from the service centre. I repeatedly called on every alternate day to know if my turn has come but their replies were as blunt as their service. I did not receive a single call. In between a person came and after examination said that the gas has to be refilled. I called the Manager/ in charge and narrated my problem and their poor response and he assured me to turn up on[protected] but in vain. I re- called him on[protected] and again requested him to do the necessary and on that day a person came refilled the gas and mend the fridge and I paid Rs 863/- for the gas and other charges. But again after two days the problem persisted and I again called the service centre on[protected] and they said that to-day ie[protected] a person will attend me but no one turned up. I called the service centre at 10.30 am and till then the operator could not give me any details if anyone would attend me or not. I then called up the Manager/ In charge and sentised him about the whole matter in harsh voice and then he replied that the person who was supposed to attend me met with an accident and again asked me to wait till tommorrow.

                            My dissatisfaction with the service centre here in Jorhat is that the persons are inefficient and does not know how to deal with consumers like us. My complaint is I never received any phone call to follow up with my complaint and also received no feed back calls which is very displeasing for a brand like LG Electronics. I have an LCD Tv and also a Washing Machine all LG but now i do not intent to buy more of your produts due to your poor service. But being a consumer this is my humble request to take note of my problem and also take immediate action against the team in Jorhat service centre.

                              There is excessive moisture in the fridge, of course spoils the eatables kept inside, even more troublesome is water running out on the floor, making it slippery, and fear of falling down is always there.

                              Please help.

                                  I have lodged complaint with reference number (RNA[protected] and only after 3 days one person from (Vizag enterprises) came to home to attend the complaint and he didn't bring in necessary equipments with him to attend the complaint, and immediately he told that this was becuase of voltage fluctuation and we need to change the booster, and when I told him that another AC is working fine without any issue and our area didn't have voltage fluctuation he told that he will bring in some equipment to test the booster.

                                  And after that he never turned up, it's be two weeks so far, NEITHER that person (he not even telling his name whenever I asked for, but his mobile number is -[protected]) NOR Vizag enterprises ([protected] and person name who attended my call was Pavithra) have provided responsible answer, both of them (one who attended the complaint intially and Pavithra from vizag enterprises) simply providing the response that, will be attended, but no one turns up...

                                  This is really disgusting and frusturated with the way service been handled and those two people responding to their customer, some one should intervene and make them to realize how important Customers are and how well they need to be treated. This creates distrust on entire LG products.

                                      I purchased a LG Refrigerator just 2 weeks back & already it has stopped working.
                                      Heard loud noise of the compressor & now, it is not cooling.

                                      We filed a complaint wtih LG customer care & for 5 days all we got was courteous calls from LG service.
                                      They seem to read out the apology & never meant that.
                                      They asked us to switch on the refrigerator properly & keep the settings to low.
                                      Low or high this is supposed to work. Otherwise they shouldnt give the settings.

                                      Anyway, they said technicians would come & fix the problem. Since 5 days we are calling the service station to have a technician visit us. Finally they closed the ticket saying not reachable.
                                      We gave 2 different phone numbers, none of which have any calls from LG or ayone.

                                      I raised a new ticket: RNA[protected].
                                      No response from service station.

                                      After escalation we got a number of Ajay Kumar: [protected]. Who never responds to the calls.

                                      We are lost on what to do.

                                      We highly recommend not to go for LG refrigerators for those who are looking to buy one.

                                      Poor quality of the machines, poor service.

                                      LG - Refrigerator — Wrong Commitment by LG Service Center

                                      I HAD PURCHASE A LG REFRIGERATOR ( GL338VSX5SV) ON[protected]. NOW I HAVE A PROBLEM IN IT I HAVE COMPLAINT ABOUT IT IN LG CUSTOMER CARE MANY TIME BUT THEIR ENGINEER ARE NOT ABLE TO FIND THE FAULT AND REPAIR IT AND NOT A SINGLE EFFECTIVE STEP IS TAKEN BY LG CARE YET FOR MY REQUEST.
