We gave our LG 2 ton window ac for filling of gas to LG service vendor (Comfort Point) on Apr 25...it has been 4 days and we have not got the AC back....after 3 days of follow up the vendor has been postponing the delivery of the AC every day and has informed us that it will be delivered tomorrow (April 29).

I would like to understand how much time does it take for the gas to be filled in the AC and why I should not lodge a complaint with the Consumer Court against LG for all the suffering in hot and humid climate of Mumbai.

I am truly frustrated and dissappointed with the customer service and treatment extended by LG and it's vendor services. Despite lodging an esclation on LG customer care number[protected], nobody senior officer has called me yet. The mobile number of Sajid Sayeed ([protected]) who has been informed to be the service manager is switched off and we are left at the mercy of a lousy service vendor called Comfot Point in Goregoan.

LG / Window AC — AC Service

I purchased LG window AC from soft vision(LG Dealer, Faridabad), as my AC doesn't cool properly, Instead of giving so many follow ups Since Purchasing in 2006 and registering so many complaints to this dealer and Customer Care Executive, no body is entertainning, everytime customer care People keep on saying that it will be done shortly and then they are lying that our executive came to your Place but shop was Closed, The Nature of Business I have, I cant keep my office closed in working Hours, Literally making fools, then why the hell I will keep on calling them again and again...am I so idle.These Cusomer Care People Keep on Putting me on Hold for more than 15 min in order to forward my call to Senior, but everything no body turns up, call gets Disconnect.I cant recall all the names but some are Sahil, Ashish, Deepak, Shambu, Zaheer and Rohan the Supervisor who is always busy or not on the floor.I seriously want action to be taken.

LG / Window AC — WORST After Sales Service

Hi!

I lodged the Complaint with LG Customer Care on 27th April with Complaint ID : RNA1104270​02661.

My Window AC was picked on 29th April 2011.

I was given a commitment that on Sunday 1st May 2011, the AC would be repiared and returned.
On Tuesday 3rd May the commitment was given for the same day.
When I called LG customer Care for escalation number I was given the number of Mrs lohia, whose number was continuously busy.
ASM Mr. Ram to whom when I called I was getting call waiting and sometimes the cell was ringing, however again no one was there on the other side to speak to.

There is no one to take the responsibility, ownership and accountability. There is no one to whom we can escalate.

The Service center numbers are 99% of times busy and they dont even have the Courtesy to call the customer and inform about the Delay.

LG After sales service is simply pathetic.

I would like someone to please take some action on them.

LG Window AC — worst service

Dear Team,
This is going to be my last mail to lg services ever. There has been a height of careless service from your side which was highly unexpected from an organisation as big as LG The number assigned to Nikita being responded by some asurd sounding male and Mr Atul Wadhwa's number was left unattended. The serviement namely Puneet and Vivek have left he case without bothering. I wold le to tell you that even ater constant reminders on mail and verbally. We had to gan call up he customer service of LG , butthe fate remains the same till now. Every other day we have same answer that the component is not available, may i ask that the organistion doesnot have a simple component for 8 consecutive days , how do you manufacture your poducts then? We are so annoyed that we will make sure that we do not buy any product from lg in future, nor to recommenedit to any person, famil or friends. Even after regular mails, and reguar compliants , we have not got a single call asking whher are problem has been resolved or not. I would have said more but I think our compliant i just alling on deaf ears.

LG / Window AC — Pathetic Service

(Ref: My Complaint Numbers RNA[protected] dated 21/4/11 and RNA[protected] dated 21/5/11 in respect of the same AC.)

It took your service franchisee 'WE CARE SERVICES" (IN[protected]S) 8 dyas for refilling of gas and delivering the unit back on 26/04/11. Within 18 days, i.e., by 14th of May, the unit developed the same problem and after our constant reminders directly to the franchisee (Supervisor- Santosh), during which he kept promising to lift the unit for repairs, we were forced to lodge our complaint formally again with the LG Care call center on 21/5/11.

We lodged a complaint 10 days back for AC service but still nobody returned up (Complaint.no: RNA[protected]. We are daily following up with the customer service and LG employee (Mr.Azharrudin) but of no use till now. Being a AMC registered customer, really disappointed with your service and very sad of having purchased LG AC (2), Oven (1) and Refrigerator (1). If this is how you provide your customer service, then i am sure of not going with any of your LG products in future. It's very disappointing that nobody even responding to the complaint properly. Whom should we contact for the service, you Chief Executive officer/Managing Director (Moon B Shin)? Please let me know.

      No audio clarity. LG technician reports us as left speaker is damaged. we purchased this LED TV only 8 days before we complaint as its sound system is not working. RDRL & LG sold us a defective TV Set. we don't want to repair it or replace it, as we feel cheated. complaint no-RNA[protected]. please advice me about the solution. LG technician spoke rudely to us. we contacted to Mr. nilesh ghotekar PH NO-[protected] also he wasn't responding well. also Reliance Digital Retail Ltd, Vashi from where I purchased this TV Set.RDRL is not taking any responsibility. PLEASE HELP ME OUT.

        Our office have purchased 2 Split AC from LG and have taken AMC and again renewed the AMC in the month of March 2012.

        during renewal of AMC LG representative Mr Sudhakar assured us that our due service of 2012 AMC will be done in weeks time. we waited for 2 weeks but nobody turned up after taking next year AMC Cheque. The cheque was cleared from our account. We then lodged the complaint on their toll free number[protected] on 21.04.2012 with complaint numbers of 2 Split AC as i) RNA[protected] and ii) RNA[protected].

        After lodging the complaint its our daily duty to call their toll free number and every time we are cheated with wrong commitments by LG. everytime there is a new person and we have to again and again explain our situation to them but till date nobody came for service. Each time we only get assurance and whenever we asked for the senior person number and name, we were provided with wrong information and everytime we get the numbers which are always switched off.

        in our opinion this is fraud company and strict action should be taken against LG Electronics and also request you to help us in getting our money back for the AMC done with them for 2012.

        hope some fruitful action would be taken against this fraud company and save the consumers from the harrasment by these kind of companies.

        lg electronics AC — AC gas leakage in ~ 1 year operation

        Poor performance of window AC

        I purchased a window AC in Jan 2010.The company people came and installed it and also the service was done twice by the company officials.
        In the first place, the parameters such as temperature and compressor pressure were not checked and recorded by the installation team.
        Secondly, when I complained about this, no one responded to this.

        Now after just few months of operation, the AC has stopped doing any kind of cooling. The LG engineer says the gas has leaked and may be some part also got defected,
        This is so crap. Absolute bull quality levels, if the joints from the cooling circuit have leaked in just 3-4 months of AC running.

        I demand the company makes this correction free of cost for me as this is a clear case of quality lapse in production by having improper copper tubing material or quality of joints.

        I need an explaination and expect a fast response and repair ofmy AC asap.

        It can't get worse. For a professional MNC such as LG (and I am now changing my view that they are professional at all) to respond in such pathetic manner.

        1. I discussed my problem with some Mr Amit who is the area manager for Customer service. And the reply and his behavior was atrocious. He told me right away that there is no quality problem and may be some problem with the quality standards of the company itself. He told me that he would pass on my complaint to LG R&D to revise quality standards. But there is no help or even any sympathy he can offer to me.

        2. Now that I have to get the gas charged again (which will cost me some Rs 1900), the engineer charges me Rs 250 for cartage and gives me a receipt. Only the back of the receipt, the standard rates for cartage are written as Rs 150. When asked, I am told that the printing is dated. I dont know if the printing is dated or the customers are being fooled.

        3. To top it all, I alsio got another split AC installed yesterday from LG ( such a fool I am ) and engineer did not carry any temperature checking device to show me that the ac is working well, Instead he tells me your room is real big and cooling will be always less. He asked me that I should never operate on 18 deg C else the compressor will heat up and trip.

        I am shocked and amazed as to how this company survives in the market, having no focus on consumer.

        I STRONGLY RECOMMEND NOT TO PURCHASE AN LG PRODUCT, BECAUSE NOT ONLY THE PRODUCT QUALITY SUCKS BUT THE SERVICE IS EVEN WORSE.

          am gajanand s. pendam i bought mobile Lg optimus me p350 date 3-1-2012 . after 3 month i had same problem in my mobile like hanging when some one calling , but now for 15-20 day my phone auto switch off . i gave to servicing date 19-4-12 but my problem not slave .
          please help us what i do ? b'cos only 4 month gone to buy a mobile .

          350 — automatically turn off

          sir,
          there is a problem that after 2-3 hr it is automatically shut down.i was complain in bhubaneswar service station,but there was no solution ............
          when i make a phone call they do not give any response..................so finally i think that i will give a customer case on near police station.

                This is regarding LG washing machine part (PCB) replacement, as current
                part gave up. Had launched complaint a week ago, by which i was been told that it would get replaced in couple of days.

                Its been more than a week now, forget follow ups from their end,
                they not giving assurance when will the part be fixed in my machine. they keep on giving various numbers,
                ask me to follow up with them rather than they informing me or giving me updates.

                Even after officially launching a formal complaint from LG care service, getting registration no., this is the kind of treatment
                we, as consumers get.

                Micro Service Center in Thane is the worse ever experience I, as a consumer has got till date.

                Hope some strict action is taken.

                  This is the copy of the complaint I sent to LG


                  I bought a LED 32" and a home theatre system worth Rs-60000 from LG but till date didn't get the scratch card for the home theatre.I contacted LG many times but no avail. Lately they tried to fob me by giving me a 4 GB pend drive as the free gift as I already got the free gift for the LED TV..a 101 DVD movie set.The pen drive is not even worth Rs-150...so can you see the level of frustration here. ...I was on my way to work, so coudn't agree much to the rep who I spoke to...

                  So, 150 is not even 1% of the total cost of the products I bought....I really was looking forward for a compensation I couldn't refuse but first wanted LG to tell me what they can offer me...they offer me 4 GB pen drive...

                  I now am really angry and will look to take this legally in court as I feel this isn't the way a customer should be treated. ...I have already given the relevant docs to my solicitor and have all the correspondence to and from LG with me printed out here. This will prove that how long have I been chasing this up with you guys...and the court will give their decision only after they scrutinize from depth which I'll comply with...

                  One last chance for LG to put things right here or else you guys are getting a notice from the court to appear for the first hearing...

                  My birthday is on the 23rd of April, so this day, I'll be at home...the whole day...Try giving me a call and see where this goes...


                  PS: Even more frustrated after seeing the latest schemes on LG site for free Dish TV HD for new customers...

                    PCB complaint in LG washing machine

                    My name is Arun (from Ernakulam, Kerala) ([protected])

                    I had bought a LG front loading model (TROMM) 3 years back for around 26000/-. Now the problem with the washing machine is it does not stop running.
                    For example, if I set the time as 30 minutes, the count down timer will come down till 5 or 6 minutes left and then go back to 12 or 15 minutes.
                    This will repeat again when the time left reaches 5...

                    I HAVE PURCHASED A COLOUR TV FROM SANSKAR SALES MEHSANA GUJARAT ON DATED[protected].
                    AFTER 2 YEARS MY LG TV BECOME FAULTY. THAN I HAVE CONTACTED TO SANSKAR SALES FOR REPAIRING MY TV ON DATED[protected]. SANSKAR SALES SEND HIM SERVICE ENGINEER AT MY RESIDANCE AFTER SOME TESTING HE ADVISED TO SEND TV TO HIM WORKSHOP AT SANSKAR WORKSHOP MULKI BHAWAN MEHSANA IT IS 5 KMS FROM MY RESIDANCE. AFTER FOUR-FIVE DAYS THEY SUGGEST ME TAKE MY TV AT LG SERVICE CENTER "HP SERVICES" MEHSANA ON DATED[protected]. THEY MISGUIDED ME THAT YOUR PICTURE TUBE BECOME FAULTY AND IT MUST BE REPLACED. BUT AFTER 25 DAYS THEY COULD NOT REPAIR MY TV AND SAYS THAT YOUR DEALER SANSKAR SALES PERSON CHANGED SOME IC'S AND CAPACITOR'S SO THEY MUST BE REPLACED. ON DATED[protected] MY TV BECOMES REPAIRED BUT LOT OF TIME AND MONEY IS SPENT IN REPAIRING IN MY TV. AND HP SERVICES HEAD ALSO MISBEHAVES WITH ME.                     LG colour TV — POOR SERVICE-PENDING COMPLAINT FOR 30 DAYS

                    My complaint is registered with LG since 30.04.11. My Golden Eye TV at NOIDA was having problem with channel change and the same was registered with LG.

                    On 02.05.11, Mr Ranveer from Digital Service ,NOIDA came to our house and after partial complaint rectification and charging Rs.250.00, told us that a chip in I/O front panel needs to be changed which will be ordered from their side. He promised to come back soon. I started following up with him and he could collect the part on 13.05.11 from his service center.

                    He promised to come next day, however he did not turn up though we waited for full day. In the evening, I again talked to him to which he again promised for next day. Next day was Sunday, I again waited for full day. He did not turn up. I again talked to him in the evening, he again promised for Monday. For full three days, I did not follow up with him and finally talked to him on 19.05.11. He again promised for next day. I replied that he need not come and I will take up the matter with LG by complaining against him. He said that I could go ahead with complaint and he will not come.

                    I wrote an e-mail on your website complaining about his attitude and my pending complaint. No reply was obtained from LG. I then started sending SMS every alternate day on 5757554 to which Ms Madhuri & Ms Neelima from LG Head Office talked to me four times promising to send good engineer to my house to rectify the problem. Six SMS have been sent from my side to you on 30.05.11, 25.05.11, 26.05.11, 28.05.11, 31.05.11& 03.06.11 from my mobile number [protected]. Nothing happened.

                    Today, I received a call from Digital Service stating that the complaint has been liquidated. I was surprised to learn this & confronted them. Later on the girl told that as my TV is 10 years old, the part is now not available. Surprisingly, their own mechanic Mr Ranveer had already collected the part.

                    It is regretted to note that even LG does not respond promptly to their customers. I have been a die hard fan of LG and have three LG products in my house. But this year, the LG service has been so far that I have stopped recommending the product to anyone. Even their toll free number[protected] has stopped working.

                    LG colour TV — Rude talking of company call centre employee ; appearing horizontal dashes across TV

                    On[protected] I made a call to LG company call centre[protected] and have furnished all the required information and they promised to send a mechanic. But since no mechanic has come for repair, on[protected] at 11.42 AM I again made a call to the above call centre. One person named Mr.Kiran Kumar has attended my call and after enquiry he said that, though my particulars were entered, my complaint was not registered. I asked to register my complaint at least now. He asked whether my CTV is of 21" or 22" and unless I can say exactly, he can not register my complaint. I said I dont know exactly whether it is of 21" or 22" and however your company mechanic will say it. He asked when it was purchased. I said I can not remember well now. He shouted " Dont you know how to talk ?" and immediately, mercilessly, disconnected my call.

                    Well, after seeing your response, I will approach the Forum for denying me, my legitimate service faciltiy/assistance and for the rude behaviour of your call centre employee

                    My issue is the same, LG Electronics should be banned in india. I am tired of reaching their customer care team and RNP Ticket ids were closing by the branches without contacting the customers. They are demanding cash to do the service when my LG TV is under warranty...

                    I will not recommend anybody in my family, friends or any other person who are interested to buy LG...Still my tv is shut down and nobody is interested to solve the issue...

                    LG SHOULD COME CLEAN AND DO THE SERVICE BEFORE THEY SELL ANY PRODUCT.

                    Take action on your Hyd branch and let me know...

                      On 11th April, I have registered a request for periodical maintenance of my Window ACs with LG customer service vide Complaint nos RNA [protected] & RNA [protected]. This service wast to be rendered with in 24 Hrs and till now i.e. on 17th April the service is not provided. When I called LG customer service, I was told, that the service is already provided as per records. The service was to be provided by LG authorised service station HI END Solutions, 19 Sewa Park, Near Dwarka Mode. I request you to advise the Company to disconnect with such service centres, who can tell lies with out any hesitation at the cost of customer dissatisfaction.

                      since last 2 weeks we gave a complaint that machine was not working properly but there is no responce till now.after which we again called the company twice.they replied that the man will come in 24hrs but still now no one came.

                        we purchased LG Refregirator(Model No-GRP267BTB) through M/S.Sathya Agencies by bill number-IBTUT1-02096, dtd-30/07/2008, Suppliers reference-IB2096, Bill amount-Rs117500/-
                        Billed name-M/S.INDIAN OCEAN GARNET SANDS CO.PVT.LTD, 146 PALAI ROAD, TUTICORIN.628003

                        We filled complaint in local LG service centre on 19/01/2012, complaint registered number-RNA[protected]. Till now problem in the above mentioned refregirator not solved by M/S.LG.

                        We contact through email and mobile to concern persons several times, but nothing happened positively to us.

                        Now(Yesterday) they are telling that they will refund amount arround Rs17000/- for our refregirator, as because they can't supply the defective spare(Water inlet valve assembly).

                        For your kind information that our refregirator is only 42months(3 1/2 year) old at the time of fault. Now how can they discontinue their spares.If this is their(LG's) quality policy, they should mentioned during the purchase. Now recent days they are giving 10Years warranty for some model of refregirator, How they can?.

                        So please let them to solve the proble or let them to refund the bill amount with compensation.

                          I Purchased a LG 42 inch LCD TV on 14th April 2012 and its been 3 days and no one has approached to install the TV. When selling the product they promosed a 24 hour service. This is a pathetic service. They are treating the customer as fools. I have made more than 10 calls to the service center without any luck of a techniciain visit.I will advice all my friends and relatives against buying a LG product

                              LG Window A/C — Service

                              People who sit in you call centre can be so useless as to not service my A/C even once week after I placed a request for the A/C service. My initial request number given by your CSR was C[protected]. He took my address and phone number and asked if it is in the name of Sambandham. I said no, the name is Madhu Kumar. He said someone will come within 24 hrs. When nobody turned up, I called again, they asked for the request number, then repeated the same story. Nobody turned up and I called a third time. Nobody came. When I called today, the CSR says he needs to register a new complaint. Now the new number is C[protected]. I have no idea what you people are doing after taking money saying AMC. Earlier, while under AMC, you used call up and fix the appointment and come for service. If you continue like this, I will never again think of buying another LG product.

                                I have faced problem during the installation of my LG Split A/C when i requested (RNA[protected] on April 9, 2012. On calling at their call center no. @[protected], they told me every time that it will be done within 24 Hrs. and engineer will contact you within 2 Hrs. No engineer contacted me and when i called at no. provided by call center, no body picked it. LG Call center employee told me that their system showed that engineer updated that i asked for rescheduling of installation, which was sheer false and they didn't call me at first place. This is really disappointing as a customer that a company sells a product to you and hold you from using it. LG charges 1500/+ service tax for installation within 24 Hrs. but can't do it within another 50 Hrs. Is it not cheating that you charge premium for your services and warranty but are incapable of maintaining your standards???

                                LG — False Service

                                I had purchased a split AC from LG. Supposedly, the company offers 3 free services valid for an year.

                                I logged a service request on March 10 which has not been answered appropriately as of today. Every weekend the service center associates promise to send a technician, who never turns up.

                                After repeated calls, one technician visited on Mar 19, however he lied that wet service can not be done in split ACs. He just did so called 'dry service' in hardly 5 minutes and left.

                                Thereafter, I have been making repeated calls to service center and customer care associates, every time they falsely promise to send someone, but no one turns up.

                                  LG KM 900 — Service complaint

                                  My LG KM 900 is automatically dead and when i brought it to ASC Meerut on (29 September) they gave me time for 2 days but after 2 days they asked for more days as they have ordered for required parts and after a month today on 27 September 2010 they are saying that your set is dead and can not be repaired by us, but meanwhile they were convincing me that it will be repaired soon and they gave me estimated amount of around 500RS to 1,000RS as they said the PCB is broken, but now they are saying that this can not be repaired as this is water damaged set and now out of warranty. so i want to ask one thing if it was water damaged then why did not they tell me at that time when i brought it to ASC.
                                  Now they are giving me estimated amount for repairing the handset around 5,000rs as the set is out of warranty now, but when i brought it to ASC at that time it was a in warranty handset.

                                  Here i want to ask one thing that have i done any mistake by purchasing such a expensive LG product.

                                  So plz do the need full ASAP...........

                                  LG KM 900 — service issue

                                  hi,

                                  i have a LG KM900 worth rs/19,000. and i repaired it from LG authorized service center Meerut and they told me after a month that it is water damaged cell but still we are repairing it free of cost and i need to pay only for PCB worth rs/250. and i gave them rs 250. Bill no. 1830 but after a month again i faced a problem and i went to ASC then again i replaced a part LCD worth rs/1875. bill no. 1297 then i see that my PCB is stuck by the cello tape then I called ASC manager Mr. Jyoti and he said that last time they repaired my cell free of cost but i have a bill for PCB replacement. then why did they stuck PCB by cello tape.
                                  but i am not getting any satisfactorily answer from any body.
                                  still my cell is in service center and they are not even able to switch it on, and its been three days.
                                  now warranty of my cell is out dated.

                                  PLZ. reply me if anyone can give me any solution for it.

                                    I bought Split wall mounted 1.5 tons AC of LG. Model # AAA74133202 on 23rd March,2012 from Metro Cash and Carry Kolkata. After that, upon repetative request finally Metro sent electrician to install the AC on 31st March. They charged us Rs 2500, did a lousy job, stole parts provided in LG package, no earthing was done and cannot switch on the AC. Wires are hanging all over, and there is a danger of short circuit if I switched on the AC. The people who installed were from Sree Tara Electronics who claimed to be authorised by LG. When we went to complaint to LG service center, they said only LG personnel are suppossed to come and install LG AC, and that Metro has cheated me big time. I want an answer, as to why a store like Metro cheated me this way and what are they going to do to overcome that.
                                    When LG personnel came, they were shocked to see the defective way the AC was installed and that these people stole the switch, wires and so many things provided by LG. They said they cannot do anything right now, and will come in a month for servicing. In the meantime, they advised us to get in touch with Metro and have them sent electrician to install the AC properly, so that we can use it in scorching heat of summer. Please help.

                                      I have taken AMC of LG Airconditioner, have lodged a complaint but the fault has not been rectified and nor is there any response from your service centre. My complaint Number is RNA[protected], this had been lodged on 05 Apr and the same has not been rectified inspite of repeated reminders, the service Centre the engineer has not rectified the complaint.The Engineer Hari Om does not seem to have diagonised the problem, he told me that the output of the Stabiliser was more, I have got the same changed, but the cooling problemstill stays.

                                      Will someone look into this please.
