Dear Sir,

My Split AC was not working since from 16/4/12 covered under AMC for third year paid Rs 5000/= more by me to
cover third year AMC .During warranty period only two visit was made for the two years .Recently AC stopped working
from 16/4/12 & i have registered complaint NO RNA[protected] dated 16/4/12.
Till date No response from LG - customer service with making lot of calls to chennai service center No[protected]
& Branch incharge Ms Mohana mob- [protected] ,Mr.T.K.Rajkumar mob- [protected] given by LG toll free but
no respond. After sales service is very poor & not responding to attend service problems.Now we are helpless.

    I purchased an LG/267BTB (Rs 1 Lac+) from Sales Emporium Garia, Kolkata, on 11.06.2009. It never worked at all.
    The company replaced it on 07.08.2009. I worked for 7 months.
    The company had no choice but to replace it on 27.05.10.
    I was warned that after the 1st year they would not replace the product any more - like I was enjoying the experience!!
    It worked for 22 months. The compressor (5 year warranty) packed up last month. LG replaced it last week.
    Since then, my freezer does not cool and the ice maker makes no ice. The water dispenser doesn't dispense cold water either. These were all doing perfectly fine till the compressor debacle.
    The Kolkata Branch Service Incharge (cell: [protected]) promised to get back to me - I'm still waiting. There has been no follow-up visit. They make you sign a piece of paper which states your satisfaction even though you've not seen the fridge work. That's just LG covering their backsides for third rate products which they con consumers into purchasing.
    This is a product which is faulty, or it would not have required to be replaced 3 times in the first year!
    Yet LG continues to sell it.
    And stupid consumers like us fall for 'Life's Good'.
    Well, life's not good. Thanks to the LG con.

      Dear sir

      i have signed AMC CONTRACT FOR MY LG SPLIT WITH LG. i logged a complaint as there were lot of rattling sound and the temperature is not properly maintained even we set it. for example if we set the temperature to 27 degrees the room temperature goes up to 20 degrees and even then the compressor does not cut off.

      After my complaint in two days a technician came to fix. he said there is a problem in temperature control device inside the a/c. he confirmed the same needs to be replaced.

      Pl note he did not attend the rattling sound problem. he assured in couple days he would get it replaced.

      It has been more than two weeks since i made this complaint.

      No one is taking responsibility despite my several calls to LG Customer office number given by technician.
      They keep telling by evening we will attend the problem.
      every time they fail to keep up their promise.

      Because of this issue we are getting huge power bill and not able to sleep properly.

      Kindly look in to it and help me fixing the problem. my RNA NUMBER IS RNA[protected].

      L.G. Split A/C — not working properly

      we have purchased a new split ac and some times while running it vibrats a lot and compressor get disconnected and ac stops working so please send u r service engineer as early as possible to remove the problem

      LG AC — not servicing properly

      this is with reference with the lg spilt ac , we had register the complaint to didmantle it and shift to the other place but no body responded to us and we have are suffering since last 5 days and no body has turned up not even a call to us.

        I had purchased LG Tv 32LE5500 On 27 November 2010. I was facing power on problem with the TV so called up LG customer Care and put the request for repairing the representative gave me request id RNA[protected], a week after LG service representative came checked the TV and told me LG doesn't repair SMPS i need to replace whole board with new one,and he will get back with pricing because he did know the pricing. There after i didn't receive any kind of communication from LG. Where LG is indirectly forcing consumer to buy new costly parts. Here i am feeling like i have been cheated by LG.

        LG — Missbehave of LG Dealer

        Yeaterday 14/04/2010 we buy a Washing Machiane from LG Shoppe D-77 Malviya Nagar @ rs. 12000 we paid full payment by cash but they delever a Demo peace as we complaint about it they give us thrat that they are killed people so dont complain.

        can you please suggest wtat we do in this situation.

          I purchased a LED Television from Croma Faridabad on 3rd March 2012. A Scratch card was given to me which awarded me a DVD Player. I was told that as gift is not in stock, I will receive the same as soon as they get it from company.
          Despite repeated chase-ups and telephone calls, I have not yet received the said DVD player even after passage of 2 months.

            Sir,

            I had purchased the Top loading fully automatic washing machine on date 31 march 2012. Since I purchased, getting problem {UE : Unbalanced Load} in washing machine. 4 to 5 times your technical engineer checked the washing machine but not able to solve the problem. I'm continuously try to call your engineer (Manjoj) number ([protected]) who checked the washing machine last time on date 29 April 2012 but he didn't pick my call .Then I made a call on your TOLL Free number[protected]. They had provides me some numbers of service center gurgaon. I also try these number's ( landline : [protected],Mr. Utsav :[protected], supervisor [protected]) but they didn't my call. I'm completely frustrated. Please either refund my money or replace this faulty washing m/c by new m/c.

              The service that is getting provided by the LG company is pathetic. We had recently done 3 years Annual Maintenance Contract with LG company for Air Conditioner. It was promised that all the complains will be handled within 24 hours of complain booking. I had booked the complain on 12th April'12 and i had to follow up for another 15 days to get them moving. We are still waiting for the resolution.

              This is the worst service experience of my life. No one picks up the call at service center. The mobiles of service complain managers are switched off most of the ime and even if they are switched on they never bother to revert back. On enquiry they donot have any process for AMC cancellation (this is what i was told by the LG call center)

              Now I want my AMC money back from them. This is a fraud and cheating by the LG consumer eletectronics.

              Kindly help me in filing a fraud case against LG consumer eletectronics.

                i purchased lg air conditioner from tmc tirupathy ph ;2283814/15/16 on 16 of april 2012[this month only] they have installed defective piece it seems .It is not working from day 1 .I have complained several times to the company ,tmc and also customer care. they came 5times to check the unit but they unable to rectify the problem ,after that they are not responding.we didn't enjoyed the AC till now. bill no :IP/1213/CR-170 MODEL NO:ls n5tr5p.i want to change the unit or returned the cash.

                  I bought a LG Microwave - MC2881 SUP, from Rahul Electronics, Goregaon west on 23/04/12. However the product door bears scratches. I was shocked to hear from LG service engineer that these are Thermocol scratches and the door will be replaced. If i want to buy a scratched microwave, i would 've bought a low end second hand product. Inspite of paying such a huge amount of Rs. 12750/- for the product I have to be satisfied with microwave which requires a repair(change of door) without me using it for once. Really bad experience buying LG product. First of all the engineer did not co-operate with timings for demo visit, then the customer service number when contacted remains busy since ages, then the product for which i paid my hard earned money comes with defect and then the service engineers tells us you have to live with the defective piece.Never faced this issue with any other brand products which i am using, but buying a LG is a nightmare with all kind of mental trouble & harrasment.

                    I had called as my AC had a gas leakage, I was told on the number[protected], that I should speak to Comfort Point as they are the service agents for LG, so I called them on [protected] spoke to Abishek who gave me his number [protected], I informed him that my AC has a gas leakage and I need to check it so he mentioned to me he will send someone to pick the machine and will deliver it to me on Saturaday, I had spoken to him on Friday, he also mentioned to me that som engineers are not available on sunday so he will give back the machine on saturday, I then checked the cost he told me Rs 1690/- then I told him how is it that the call centre is given a different rate as they told me it will cost Rs.750, he then said it is not Rs 750 but Rs 800, transport Rs 200, service charge Rs 300 , red oxide Rs 200, something else 40 something else 100 so total Rs 1690, I then told him the guy Suliman who came to me place said a different amt and has taken 340, he then said we will deduct the 340 from 1690 so I have to pay Rs 1350 and so I agreed, he sent his men to pick the machine, today when I called for the machine they were very rude he said it will be delivered tomorrow I then told him he was informed I will not be there on sunday, but he denied and cut the line, I then tried calling him several times and he was not answering the call, in the bargain I have not got my AC back.
                    This is very bad service and LG is spoiling there name with such vendors, I feel strict action should be taken against him (Abhishek) and the vendor should be changed, I demand you will have to compensate me for the inconvenience I have gone through and for the way I have been treated, then I caled the LG cal centre number and was given the manager's number and told to call him on [protected] Sajid by name and the number was given by Ravi

                    Please look into the matter asap and I wnat my AC back tomorrow without fail

                    LG Window AC 1.5 Ton — Service issue

                    There was a low cooling problem in my AC in April. I called on customer care on 24th April for the service. Request ID for my call is N8C42409351. Problem attended by Greater Noida service centre. Taken to service centre for gas filling. After 2 or 3days, cooling & noise problem occured again. I called on 5th May and got request ID N8C50500863. Problem not attended. After that when AC stopped cooling I again called on 13th Aug and got request ID N8C81300131. Now engineer told me that gas leaked and you have to pay again as warranty of 3 month passed.
                    If problem was not attended by the company engineer, is it customer's duty to recall the engioneer again and again. I don't want to pay a single penny and want my AC repair free of charge. Pls suggest...

                    It has been 2 years we purchased LG window ac (12/04/07) and when the time we purchased this ac the shop keeper commited that we have 3 free services fr three years .. i gave the req fr my first service in the month of july.. then LG Executive came and did his job well and this year i called again to cust care fr second service of my ac this time cust relationship officer sd that the 3 free service is applicable fr One year..

                    If we see on Ac there is nothing mention that this is applicable fr one year and second i gave the req fr my first service after one year why Lg executive came at my place and did free service.. why.. I want another Two services which was commited by the company side...

                    LG/ Window AC 1.5 ton — Gas problem & Servicing

                    i have given complain for gas problem & for servicing my window AC on 24 Th April 2009
                    i recd sms alert also on the same day that your complaint will be attended in 48 hours
                    complain ref no. is W9C42405645 but till date i have not recd any call from technical department
                    for the same. on 27/4/09 & 2/5/09 i called up on customer care no. i was informed that they are putting reminder for my complain. but no result.
                    i request company to look into this matter and do the needful

                    LG-AC — Service complaint not attended

                    I registered a complaint on 18/05/09 id # N9C51806928 for servicing my 1ton split AC bought less than a year ago.

                    LGs claim of Prompt response/ After sales service/No waiting /2 Hr-1Day-1Hr is totally a bogus claim.
                    That's my experience.

                    I complained again on the 19th that nobody turned-up or called up even, I was again promised action. Nothing happened

                    3 free services were promised on the AC at the time of purchase.Not even one has been done so far.Shortly it will complete 1 year.



                    Anyway pls explain the delay and remove-Prompt response/ After sales service/No waiting /2 Hr-1Day-1Hr the false claim from your site.

                    Hopefully we can look forward to some action now...

                    LG AC 1.5TON WINDOW AC — SERVICE NOT ATTENDED

                    I PURCHASED WINDOW AC OF LG MAKE ON 07.05.2009 AND AFTER THAT I FACED THE FOLLOWING PROBLEM:
                    1.AC WITH NOISE - COMPLAIN ATTENDED
                    2. AC DRY SERVICING DONE
                    3. AC IS NOT SUFFICEIENT COOLING.
                    AFTER THAT I REQUEST FOR MY THIRD SERVICE WHICH WAS DUE AND NOT ATTENDED.WHEN I CALLED ON CUSTOMERSERVICE OF LG AC THEY GIVE ME A COMPLAIN NO AND SAID THAT AS MY ONE YEAR TIME HAS LAPSED THEN THEY WILL NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SERVICE.
                    MY POINT IS THIS, WHEY THEY DONOT DO MY THIRD SERVICE.
                    I AM RESPONSIBLE FOR THE 3RD FREE SERVICE.
                    ARE THEY CHEATING THE CUSTOMERS NOT DOING THE PROPER SERVICE WITH POOR PRODUCTS.

                    Window AC — not attending the complaint

                    LG Window AC — Not attending complaint

                    I had purchased LG Window AC in July, 2009. It was operated for about 3 months with 4-5 hours operation. Even, the first service has not been done, it stopped working. I lodged complaint to LG Helpline on 14th April, 2010 Complaint No. C [protected]. The part (PCB) was taken on 14.4.2010 but the same has not yet been replaced yet inspite of repeated reminders in Helpline, Senior executive and service centre. Ten days have passed and my son preparation for AIEEE engineering exminations has been badly affected. Kindly suggest solution.

                    LG Window AC — Complaint not attended

                    Hi,
                    I register my complaint on date 25th May 2012 to LG customer care regarding Window AC which is not getting ON.

                    Complaint No. : RNA[protected]
                    After three days one service engineer come to attend the problem and after checking that he found that PCB controller card got faulty. Then he told to us, after two days it will be replaced but none of any service engineer coming to rectify the problem and even neither he nor his supervisor picking the phone.

                    I have taken the 3 year AMC for this product, inspite of this they are not attending the compaint.

                      We gave our LG 2 ton window ac for filling of gas to LG service vendor (Comfort Point) on Apr 25...it has been 4 days and we have not got the AC back....after 3 days of follow up the vendor has been postponing the delivery of the AC every day and has informed us that it will be delivered tomorrow (April 29).

                      I would like to understand how much time does it take for the gas to be filled in the AC and why I should not lodge a complaint with the Consumer Court against LG for all the suffering in hot and humid climate of Mumbai.

                      I am truly frustrated and dissappointed with the customer service and treatment extended by LG and it's vendor services. Despite lodging an esclation on LG customer care number[protected], nobody senior officer has called me yet. The mobile number of Sajid Sayeed ([protected]) who has been informed to be the service manager is switched off and we are left at the mercy of a lousy service vendor called Comfot Point in Goregoan.

                      LG / Window AC — AC Service

                      I purchased LG window AC from soft vision(LG Dealer, Faridabad), as my AC doesn't cool properly, Instead of giving so many follow ups Since Purchasing in 2006 and registering so many complaints to this dealer and Customer Care Executive, no body is entertainning, everytime customer care People keep on saying that it will be done shortly and then they are lying that our executive came to your Place but shop was Closed, The Nature of Business I have, I cant keep my office closed in working Hours, Literally making fools, then why the hell I will keep on calling them again and again...am I so idle.These Cusomer Care People Keep on Putting me on Hold for more than 15 min in order to forward my call to Senior, but everything no body turns up, call gets Disconnect.I cant recall all the names but some are Sahil, Ashish, Deepak, Shambu, Zaheer and Rohan the Supervisor who is always busy or not on the floor.I seriously want action to be taken.

                      LG / Window AC — WORST After Sales Service

                      Hi!

                      I lodged the Complaint with LG Customer Care on 27th April with Complaint ID : RNA1104270​02661.

                      My Window AC was picked on 29th April 2011.

                      I was given a commitment that on Sunday 1st May 2011, the AC would be repiared and returned.
                      On Tuesday 3rd May the commitment was given for the same day.
                      When I called LG customer Care for escalation number I was given the number of Mrs lohia, whose number was continuously busy.
                      ASM Mr. Ram to whom when I called I was getting call waiting and sometimes the cell was ringing, however again no one was there on the other side to speak to.

                      There is no one to take the responsibility, ownership and accountability. There is no one to whom we can escalate.

                      The Service center numbers are 99% of times busy and they dont even have the Courtesy to call the customer and inform about the Delay.

                      LG After sales service is simply pathetic.

                      I would like someone to please take some action on them.

                      LG Window AC — worst service

                      This is going to be my last mail to lg services ever. There has been a height of careless service from your side which was highly unexpected from an organisation as big as LG The number assigned to Nikita being responded by some asurd sounding male and Mr Atul Wadhwa's number was left unattended. The serviement namely Puneet and Vivek have left he case without bothering. I wold le to tell you that even ater constant reminders on mail and verbally. We had to gan call up he customer service of LG , butthe fate remains the same till now. Every other day we have same answer that the component is not available, may i ask that the organistion doesnot have a simple component for 8 consecutive days , how do you manufacture your poducts then? We are so annoyed that we will make sure that we do not buy any product from lg in future, nor to recommenedit to any person, famil or friends. Even after regular mails, and reguar compliants , we have not got a single call asking whher are problem has been resolved or not. I would have said more but I think our compliant i just alling on deaf ears.

                      LG / Window AC — Pathetic Service

                      (Ref: My Complaint Numbers RNA[protected] dated 21/4/11 and RNA[protected] dated 21/5/11 in respect of the same AC.)

                      It took your service franchisee 'WE CARE SERVICES" (IN[protected]S) 8 dyas for refilling of gas and delivering the unit back on 26/04/11. Within 18 days, i.e., by 14th of May, the unit developed the same problem and after our constant reminders directly to the franchisee (Supervisor- Santosh), during which he kept promising to lift the unit for repairs, we were forced to lodge our complaint formally again with the LG Care call center on 21/5/11.

                      We lodged a complaint 10 days back for AC service but still nobody returned up (Complaint.no: RNA[protected]. We are daily following up with the customer service and LG employee (Mr.Azharrudin) but of no use till now. Being a AMC registered customer, really disappointed with your service and very sad of having purchased LG AC (2), Oven (1) and Refrigerator (1). If this is how you provide your customer service, then i am sure of not going with any of your LG products in future. It's very disappointing that nobody even responding to the complaint properly. Whom should we contact for the service, you Chief Executive officer/Managing Director (Moon B Shin)? Please let me know.

                          No audio clarity. LG technician reports us as left speaker is damaged. we purchased this LED TV only 8 days before we complaint as its sound system is not working. RDRL & LG sold us a defective TV Set. we don't want to repair it or replace it, as we feel cheated. complaint no-RNA[protected]. please advice me about the solution.                             Our office have purchased 2 Split AC from LG and have taken AMC and again renewed the AMC in the month of March 2012.

                            during renewal of AMC LG representative Mr Sudhakar assured us that our due service of 2012 AMC will be done in weeks time. we waited for 2 weeks but nobody turned up after taking next year AMC Cheque. The cheque was cleared from our account. We then lodged the complaint on their toll free number[protected] on 21.04.2012 with complaint numbers of 2 Split AC as i) RNA[protected] and ii) RNA[protected].

                            After lodging the complaint its our daily duty to call their toll free number and every time we are cheated with wrong commitments by LG. everytime there is a new person and we have to again and again explain our situation to them but till date nobody came for service. Each time we only get assurance and whenever we asked for the senior person number and name, we were provided with wrong information and everytime we get the numbers which are always switched off.

                            in our opinion this is fraud company and strict action should be taken against LG Electronics and also request you to help us in getting our money back for the AMC done with them for 2012.

                            hope some fruitful action would be taken against this fraud company and save the consumers from the harrasment by these kind of companies.

                            lg electronics AC — AC gas leakage in ~ 1 year operation

                            Poor performance of window AC

                            I purchased a window AC in Jan 2010.The company people came and installed it and also the service was done twice by the company officials.
                            In the first place, the parameters such as temperature and compressor pressure were not checked and recorded by the installation team.
                            Secondly, when I complained about this, no one responded to this.

                            Now after just few months of operation, the AC has stopped doing any kind of cooling. The LG engineer says the gas has leaked and may be some part also got defected,
                            This is so crap. Absolute bull quality levels, if the joints from the cooling circuit have leaked in just 3-4 months of AC running.

                            I demand the company makes this correction free of cost for me as this is a clear case of quality lapse in production by having improper copper tubing material or quality of joints.

                            I need an explaination and expect a fast response and repair ofmy AC asap.

                            It can't get worse. For a professional MNC such as LG (and I am now changing my view that they are professional at all) to respond in such pathetic manner.

                            1. I discussed my problem with some Mr Amit who is the area manager for Customer service. And the reply and his behavior was atrocious. He told me right away that there is no quality problem and may be some problem with the quality standards of the company itself. He told me that he would pass on my complaint to LG R&D to revise quality standards. But there is no help or even any sympathy he can offer to me.

                            2. Now that I have to get the gas charged again (which will cost me some Rs 1900), the engineer charges me Rs 250 for cartage and gives me a receipt. Only the back of the receipt, the standard rates for cartage are written as Rs 150. When asked, I am told that the printing is dated. I dont know if the printing is dated or the customers are being fooled.

                            3. To top it all, I alsio got another split AC installed yesterday from LG ( such a fool I am ) and engineer did not carry any temperature checking device to show me that the ac is working well, Instead he tells me your room is real big and cooling will be always less. He asked me that I should never operate on 18 deg C else the compressor will heat up and trip.

                            I am shocked and amazed as to how this company survives in the market, having no focus on consumer.

                            I STRONGLY RECOMMEND NOT TO PURCHASE AN LG PRODUCT, BECAUSE NOT ONLY THE PRODUCT QUALITY SUCKS BUT THE SERVICE IS EVEN WORSE.

                              am gajanand s. pendam i bought mobile Lg optimus me p350 date 3-1-2012 . after 3 month i had same problem in my mobile like hanging when some one calling , but now for 15-20 day my phone auto switch off . i gave to servicing date 19-4-12 but my problem not slave .

                              there is a problem that after 2-3 hr it is automatically shut down.i was complain in bhubaneswar service station,but there was no solution ............
                              when i make a phone call they do not give any response..................so finally i think that i will give a customer case on near police station.

                                    This is regarding LG washing machine part (PCB) replacement, as current
                                    part gave up. Had launched complaint a week ago, by which i was been told that it would get replaced in couple of days.

                                    Its been more than a week now, forget follow ups from their end,
                                    they not giving assurance when will the part be fixed in my machine. they keep on giving various numbers,
                                    ask me to follow up with them rather than they informing me or giving me updates.

                                    Even after officially launching a formal complaint from LG care service, getting registration no., this is the kind of treatment
                                    we, as consumers get.

                                    Micro Service Center in Thane is the worse ever experience I, as a consumer has got till date.

                                    Hope some strict action is taken.

                                      This is the copy of the complaint I sent to LG


                                      I bought a LED 32" and a home theatre system worth Rs-60000 from LG but till date didn't get the scratch card for the home theatre.I contacted LG many times but no avail. Lately they tried to fob me by giving me a 4 GB pend drive as the free gift as I already got the free gift for the LED TV..a 101 DVD movie set.The pen drive is not even worth Rs-150...so can you see the level of frustration here. ...I was on my way to work, so coudn't agree much to the rep who I spoke to...

                                      So, 150 is not even 1% of the total cost of the products I bought....I really was looking forward for a compensation I couldn't refuse but first wanted LG to tell me what they can offer me...they offer me 4 GB pen drive...

                                      I now am really angry and will look to take this legally in court as I feel this isn't the way a customer should be treated. ...I have already given the relevant docs to my solicitor and have all the correspondence to and from LG with me printed out here. This will prove that how long have I been chasing this up with you guys...and the court will give their decision only after they scrutinize from depth which I'll comply with...

                                      One last chance for LG to put things right here or else you guys are getting a notice from the court to appear for the first hearing...

                                      My birthday is on the 23rd of April, so this day, I'll be at home...the whole day...Try giving me a call and see where this goes...


                                      PS: Even more frustrated after seeing the latest schemes on LG site for free Dish TV HD for new customers...

                                        PCB complaint in LG washing machine

                                        My name is Arun (from Ernakulam, Kerala) ([protected])

                                        I had bought a LG front loading model (TROMM) 3 years back for around 26000/-. Now the problem with the washing machine is it does not stop running.
                                        For example, if I set the time as 30 minutes, the count down timer will come down till 5 or 6 minutes left and then go back to 12 or 15 minutes.
                                        This will repeat again when the time left reaches 5...
