Hi,
I had purchased LG Front load Washing Machine (F1068 LDP) on 22nd November, 2011. The Machine having functional problem from 22nd Feb, 2012. So i had filed a complaint on 22nd Feb, 2012. and Technician came and he told that we have to replace the Mother Board we will replace it with in 10 days. Regarding the same issue I made phone calls to LG customer care in April (2 times ), May (2times), But till now they din't give any service. I never expect this type of WORST service from LG.

I am awaiting for your reply.

LG/Washing machine — customer harrasment and pathetic service

this is share an extreme displeasure and dissatisfaction with LG customer service. after anyone goes thru these experienses would never ever go back for this pathetic comapny product and also discourage any one to do so.
I have made a complaint for washing machine which started malfunctioning after a year. I was promised the technician to visit at my place(which is well known place and within eazy reach of town) within 24 hours. this is 10th day and every single day I am making 10 calls to them and every time they repeat the same response as some one would visit. they dont have minimum intelligence or understanding which the customer is going thru.
Please any one who is opting for LG product/home appliances., think 100 times before you opt this product.

LG Washing Machine — Customer Harrashment and no reponse to my complaints

Hi

I have LG semi-automatic washing machine. First of all its dryer flap door keeps on breaking. Till today i got it replaced two times. Recently i raised a complaint to change the door as it was broken again. This Complaint was raised on 24-July-2009. Complaint number is S9C72404702. Initially this complaint was assigned to Mr Manjunath LG CC Executive. He said it will take 5 days time to change the cover as LG needs to order that part. Till date no one has come back. I have made 15-20 calls regarding this to remind that this case is pending from more then a month. Even asked to transfer to the managers, Everytime they transfer to some new manager, i dont know if they are actually managers. So far i have spoken to 3 managers "Swarop", "Simodh" and miss Uma. Each of them said i[censored] dont get response in 2 hours please complain about us. Today is 21-Aug-09, almost a month. Not sure if writing this complaint here will make any difference.

Another important thing to highlight here is i came to know that Mr Manjunath closed the case saying customer was not available for demo. When i asked the reason they have opened one more case week back.

Real pathetic service and products. I have only 2 products of LG (washing machine and refrigerator) both keeps on giving some or other problem.

LG Washing Machine — Failure to repair machine in 4 weeks

LIFE IS NOT GOOD BUT MISERABLE WITH L.G. -------My wife Dr Prabha Banerjee,resident of 8B, Neel Kamal, 41, Elgin Road Kolkata -700020, an E.N.T Surgeon,Tel - [protected], baught a LG Washing machine on 09/10/2009 (Model No - F 8066 LP ) from Sales Emporium, 68, Sarat Bose Road, Kolkata - 700025.Water was remaining in the machine after the complete wash. Service centre informed on 30.09.10 ( Complaint no C- [protected] ) and P.C.B replaced on 2nd Oct'10. Still same problem persisted and outlet valve replaced on 03.10.10. Problem being same drum replaced on 06.10.10. No relief P.C.B changed again. No relief, machine taken to workshop on11.10.10 and brought back on 26.10.10 after full repair and change of harness. The same complaint persists on the date of delivery only. However a standby machine was given which works only on quick30 and trips in any other progamme. I request you to provide immediate relief from this nightmare. The whole festive season has been spoiled by your service centre ineffciency and discourteous behaviour.     I had Purchased a LG 3D Plasma TV 42PW450 model on 30.08.2011. On 03.05.2012 TV went suddenly blank in the morning and complaint was registered on the same day. It was promised that the complaint would be attended with in next 24 hrs with a call from service centre in KH Road. Till this date ( 08.05.2012) None of them have bothered to call or attend the complaint.
    It was advised by call centre to follow up with service centre and was provided with two tel no[protected] / 751 which no body responds.
    Complaint was escalated to the LG centre customer service and only the assurance flowed in saying complaint would be attended in top priority.
    This shoddy responses from LG is horrifying which has made me to invest on a new TV of other brand worth ₹22,000.

      I Mr. Ankush Parab have purchase LG air conditioner model no. is LSA6CR2A1 on 03/01/2012 & installed at my shop located at Surya Shopping Center, Srushti, Mira Road.

      Since the month of March I am facing problem of water dropping from A/C. As I have done complaint for 2-3 times to LG service center(Complaint Number RNA[protected] and RNA[protected], that time they said abive mention AC. was not install by them so we cannot give you the service after query from our side u know that the delaer himself installed above mention AC. after complaning to delar LG serivce centre had send their technician & said their is installation promble. after that delar & I ready to reinstallation but that time LG service centre technician said indoor unit blower was damage so machine was chok we take the machine is service cente and replace the damage part of A/C.

      As after this repairing A/C is still not working, so I request you to refund the money whatever I paid in purchasing the A/C and Installation charges which i paid that time

      LG Split Air - Conditioner — Split a/c service - under AMC

      The LG split air-conditioner in our home is under AMC from Aug-09 to Aug-2010. But even a single service was not done for the past 9 months. Now water is leaking from the indoor a/c unit. I have registered my complaint several times to LG customer care for service, but they have not yet turned up for service. My residence is ; - NO. A3, SAI LAKSHMI APARTMENTS, NO. 22, GANDHI ROAD, NEAR SECOND RAILWAY GATE, NEW PERUNGALATHUR, (NEAR TAMBARAM) CHENNAI - 600 063, KANCHIPURAM DISTRICT.         I've bought an LG split AC three weeks before. I have not even received a demonstration. It is still at home in an unusable condition. I have doubts if I'd get it even after the summer is over. What kind of service is to be expected from a brand like this. This is such a hoax of a brand name that it has. If service goes on like this, there sure are many reasons for doom. Consumers have to join together and sue such a company that hardly lives up to expectations and make the consumer run behind the sellers!

        LG — LG Service *ucks

        hello,

        Am a most unfortunate customer who happened to buy an LG refrigerator by sheer unluck.
        I will be recommending every friends not to buy any kind of LG products from now onwards.

        I had a stupid refridgerator from LG which doesnt cool. The first thing.
        I called your support guy and one technician came up.
        Concluded right away. Blockage in gas chamber. Change the gas, fix the blockage.
        The gas guys came, changed the gas, fixed the blockage.Took the money.
        The fridge is just the same as before.

        I lost the money.
        Raised another complaint, had to call all the ancestors of the call center lady to get some one attend my issue.
        A new technician came, this time a better one, and he removed all the freezer and other things to find that the freezer had a complaint and thus not cooling.
        He said they have to change the GAS again.

        and said someone will turn up from the firm to change the gas and fix the freezer.

        To Hell, no one turned out for the last one week.
        Its almost 1 month since i raised the first complaint.

        Am gonna post this on all the forums and if no one turns out, am sure to go to consumer court.

          i have purchased a fully automatic top loading washing machine of LG company on dt. 29/04/2012. since from beginning it is not working properly. it noise loudly when started/washing. A complaint has been lodged at lg customer care. but they are not replacing the same.

          LG top loader washing machine — Not working properly

          I, Dr. Karnav Desai have purchased top loaded LG washing machine from Ahmedabad dealar 'Ramesh Corporation' in the month of March 2010. After the purchase of one month machine stops in between the washing cycle with UE error. I have registered complaint by helpline number sevral times. Ahmedabad service centre is sending engineers but they are not solving my complaint.. They are not ready to watch whole cycle. They observe machine by pressing few switches and give us O.K. status. But after they went, error occurs again.

            LG split A/C was bought on 29 july 2011, till now i have lauched 6 times complaint on water leakage in the front panel.As it a health sector insisted to rectify properly, but still every 15 days once, am lauching complaint and they will take 3 days to send their person.3rd day i receive call from executive since its evening ill come tomorrow morning, so like this one weak will gone without using A/C. once after repairing we will use for one week - again water leakage - again complaint-procedure continues. As patient comes here that too in the waiting hall - split A/C we have this problem.There is no solution for this............

            1) Durinig operation there is frequent noise problem, Operation not smooth.
            2) The Silver front panel cover was broken, the team which came earlier promised replacement, This was not done.

              I purchased a LG split AC last year and for annual service, i called the LG customer care on their toll free no. first on Saturday (April 21) and they gave me a reference no. RNA[protected], and called a couple of times after that also.

              I also e-mailed them regarding this. I paste a copy of that mail as well as its reply underneath for your kind convenience.

              Up until today, I got no further response from LG Electronics, and now when i tried to talk them again, the customer service executive answered in very imperfect manner, such as "AA JAYENGE ENGINEER, TIME LAGEGA."

              Please, kindly do something in this matter

              I wrote them earlier:
              Sir,

              I had called your Customer Care Department at your toll free helpline no. first on last Saturday, April 21, 2012 regarding my split AC that I purchased last year, and they assured me that their engineer who supposed to visit us will call within 24 hours, so on Sunday I waited for the phone call and cancelled all my schedule because of that. But I got no ph call or any other response from u.

              After waiting for a day, I called them again and 2 days before today also, but again only an assurance i got nothing and up until now the condition remains same.

                After every day of follow-up on LG call center toll free no,using emailas a medium of communication, with a hope that thismailmight land tothe right person and will get some solution.


                Pathetic response from LG and associated service center..


                Problem in Short:-


                1. On 26th April, I book aservicerequest for TVrepair with LG call center.

                2. On 27th- April , The technician visited my house and wheninformed him about the problem, he replied saying he is not carrying therequired parts and will attend the call tomorrow and collected the servicecharge(rs 500/-) and went off.

                3. On 28th April , again i called up service center nofor follow-up and they told me that the technician would come by 5pm and didn'tturn up.

                4. On 29th April , Again i called up service center forfollow-up, when engg didn't turn upuntil 12pm. i was told that technicianis on the way and will come anytime. After long wait and continious follow- up,the same technician visited and did some R&D and left saying that it willtake time and need to take the TV board to service center as he is short ofIC's and when we didn't allow him to take the TV to service center, herepliedI will come back tomorrow and will repair the same.

                5. On 30th- April ,again i called up service center no forfollow-up and was told that the technician is on the way and will reachanytime. After continous follow-up at the end of day they told me that the enggis stuck at some site and will not be able to come today, so he will come on2nd May at 12pm....
                6.1st-May ---- Holiday

                7. 2nd-May - Again i called up service center for follow-up,when engg didn't turned up at 12pm. and I was told technician is on the way andwill reach anytime..After continous follow-up.The service center guystoldthat they have spoken to the visited technician about the fault and haveordered some parts and expected tommorow and technician will visit tommorow at12pm.

                8. 3rd -May--- As usual i called up LGcallcenteragainfor follow-up, when engg didn't turned up at 12pm. The servicecenter person told me that the parts is arrived and the technician will visittoday anyhow and will repair the TV. After continous follow-up they told thatthe engg will come only by tommorow.

                9. 4th- May - As usualI called service center forfollow-up, when engg didn't turned up at 12pm. The service center guys told methat the technician is on the way and should reach anytime..After continousfollow-up forfull day at around 6pm theygaveme new excusesayingthat the parts which they have ordered is not yet come and will comeonlyby Wednesday.


                All these days I have been alsochasing tothe LGcall center as well, with a hope that they will have good hold on theservice center andcan push them forbetter service...but whatIfound is that there job is just tosend reminder totheservice centerand say standard dialogue that your problem will be solvedin24hrs.


                I am fully furstrated with LG service support and hope toget it once repaired soon, so thatI can sell this in exchange and buy newLCDLED from sumsungSONY.


                Please help me once andI assure youthatIwill not give you chance of helping me again atleast forthisTV. I do have other LG products at homelike AC and Refrigeratorand worried on the same as well andpray to god that it should not getfaulty.


                Please help to resolve this problem on priority and revertfor any clarifications.

                LG CTV 29'' — WIDE DISPLAY

                This is worst custmer care i came across in 20 years. where i am situated in pune i called upon[protected] i complaint had been launched on 7th oct 2009.They complaint no result then another complaint was booked with un satification 16th oct 2009. here is the real mess up happened the person akalka came to repair had made short circuit the main board the total tv come to stop.till today 28th oct 2009 nothing happen this is the worst part so please do not go LG(life good) it should be LB(life bads)

                  LG TV — TV not working.

                  I have lodged my complaint long back regarding not working of my TV.Your service mechanic postedat Singrauli area (M.P.) has taken out some parts from TV for repairing.                   LG TV — TV NOT FUNCTIONING PROPERLY

                  LG TV - LOW GRADE THROW AWAY TV. MY GOD!!!! THIS BRAND STILL SURVIVES IN THE MARKET IS BIG SURPRISE. I PURCHASED FLATRON TV LG 2 YRS BACK AND IAM FACING MANY PROBLEMS AND NOW THE SERVICE ENGINEER IS TELLING IT IS NOT REPAIRABLE AND NEEDS TO THROW AWAY AND BUY NEW TV. WHAT A DISGUSTING COMPANY WITHOUT ANY SPARES AND SERVICE CENTRE.

                    I have bought LG spilit AC in Feb 2011. I have registered a request regarding AC service by I don't know they were logged my complaint and I didn't received any response from LG service center. But not the service period is overed and they told me to if I want to do serive for my home appliances it sould be chargeable. for this regarding today I talk with Mr Jitender Singh([protected]). I'm not happy fir their custmer handling skill. They told me I'm going to my home and contact me on monday. If I'm told me please some other number who will help me on your behalf. They didn't give me for the same. I have a good faoth on LG company But the way they handle custmer gerviances are very bad. Because custmer is impacting on that. Please help me out for provideing me free service which they were not providing me.

                      My Split AC was not working since from 16/4/12 covered under AMC for third year paid Rs 5000/= more by me to
                      cover third year AMC .During warranty period only two visit was made for the two years .Recently AC stopped working
                      from 16/4/12 & i have registered complaint NO RNA[protected] dated 16/4/12.
                      Till date No response from LG - customer service with making lot of calls to chennai service center No[protected]
                      & Branch incharge Ms Mohana mob- [protected] ,Mr.T.K.Rajkumar mob- [protected] given by LG toll free but
                      no respond. After sales service is very poor & not responding to attend service problems.Now we are helpless.

                        I purchased an LG/267BTB (Rs 1 Lac+) from Sales Emporium Garia, Kolkata, on 11.06.2009. It never worked at all.
                        The company replaced it on 07.08.2009. I worked for 7 months.
                        The company had no choice but to replace it on 27.05.10.
                        I was warned that after the 1st year they would not replace the product any more - like I was enjoying the experience!!
                        It worked for 22 months. The compressor (5 year warranty) packed up last month. LG replaced it last week.
                        Since then, my freezer does not cool and the ice maker makes no ice. The water dispenser doesn't dispense cold water either. These were all doing perfectly fine till the compressor debacle.
                        The Kolkata Branch Service Incharge (cell: [protected]) promised to get back to me - I'm still waiting. There has been no follow-up visit. They make you sign a piece of paper which states your satisfaction even though you've not seen the fridge work. That's just LG covering their backsides for third rate products which they con consumers into purchasing.
                        This is a product which is faulty, or it would not have required to be replaced 3 times in the first year!
                        Yet LG continues to sell it.
                        And stupid consumers like us fall for 'Life's Good'.
                        Well, life's not good. Thanks to the LG con.

                          i have signed AMC CONTRACT FOR MY LG SPLIT WITH LG. i logged a complaint as there were lot of rattling sound and the temperature is not properly maintained even we set it. for example if we set the temperature to 27 degrees the room temperature goes up to 20 degrees and even then the compressor does not cut off.

                          After my complaint in two days a technician came to fix. he said there is a problem in temperature control device inside the a/c. he confirmed the same needs to be replaced.

                          Pl note he did not attend the rattling sound problem. he assured in couple days he would get it replaced.

                          It has been more than two weeks since i made this complaint.

                          No one is taking responsibility despite my several calls to LG Customer office number given by technician.
                          They keep telling by evening we will attend the problem.
                          every time they fail to keep up their promise.

                          Because of this issue we are getting huge power bill and not able to sleep properly.

                          Kindly look in to it and help me fixing the problem. my RNA NUMBER IS RNA[protected].

                          we have purchased a new split ac and some times while running it vibrats a lot and compressor get disconnected and ac stops working so please send u r service engineer as early as possible to remove the problem

                            I had purchased LG Tv 32LE5500 On 27 November 2010. I was facing power on problem with the TV so called up LG customer Care and put the request for repairing the representative gave me request id RNA[protected], a week after LG service representative came checked the TV and told me LG doesn't repair SMPS i need to replace whole board with new one,and he will get back with pricing because he did know the pricing. There after i didn't receive any kind of communication from LG. Where LG is indirectly forcing consumer to buy new costly parts. Here i am feeling like i have been cheated by LG.

                                I had purchased the Top loading fully automatic washing machine on date 31 march 2012. Since I purchased, getting problem {UE : Unbalanced Load} in washing machine. 4 to 5 times your technical engineer checked the washing machine but not able to solve the problem. I'm completely frustrated. Please either refund my money or replace this faulty washing m/c by new m/c.

                                  The service that is getting provided by the LG company is pathetic. We had recently done 3 years Annual Maintenance Contract with LG company for Air Conditioner. It was promised that all the complains will be handled within 24 hours of complain booking. I had booked the complain on 12th April'12 and i had to follow up for another 15 days to get them moving. We are still waiting for the resolution.

                                  This is the worst service experience of my life. No one picks up the call at service center. The mobiles of service complain managers are switched off most of the ime and even if they are switched on they never bother to revert back. On enquiry they donot have any process for AMC cancellation (this is what i was told by the LG call center)

                                  Now I want my AMC money back from them. This is a fraud and cheating by the LG consumer eletectronics.

                                  Kindly help me in filing a fraud case against LG consumer eletectronics.

                                      I bought a LG Microwave - MC2881 SUP, from Rahul Electronics, Goregaon west on 23/04/12. However the product door bears scratches. I was shocked to hear from LG service engineer that these are Thermocol scratches and the door will be replaced. If i want to buy a scratched microwave, i would 've bought a low end second hand product. Inspite of paying such a huge amount of Rs. 12750/- for the product I have to be satisfied with microwave which requires a repair(change of door) without me using it for once. Really bad experience buying LG product. First of all the engineer did not co-operate with timings for demo visit, then the customer service number when contacted remains busy since ages, then the product for which i paid my hard earned money comes with defect and then the service engineers tells us you have to live with the defective piece.Never faced this issue with any other brand products which i am using, but buying a LG is a nightmare with all kind of mental trouble & harrasment.

                                        I had called as my AC had a gas leakage, I was told on the number[protected], that I should speak to Comfort Point as they are the service agents for LG, so I called them on [protected] spoke to Abishek who gave me his number [protected], I informed him that my AC has a gas leakage and I need to check it so he mentioned to me he will send someone to pick the machine and will deliver it to me on Saturaday, I had spoken to him on Friday, he also mentioned to me that som engineers are not available on sunday so he will give back the machine on saturday, I then checked the cost he told me Rs 1690/- then I told him how is it that the call centre is given a different rate as they told me it will cost Rs.750, he then said it is not Rs 750 but Rs 800, transport Rs 200, service charge Rs 300 , red oxide Rs 200, something else 40 something else 100 so total Rs 1690, I then told him the guy Suliman who came to me place said a different amt and has taken 340, he then said we will deduct the 340 from 1690 so I have to pay Rs 1350 and so I agreed, he sent his men to pick the machine, today when I called for the machine they were very rude he said it will be delivered tomorrow I then told him he was informed I will not be there on sunday, but he denied and cut the line, I then tried calling him several times and he was not answering the call, in the bargain I have not got my AC back.
                                        This is very bad service and LG is spoiling there name with such vendors, I feel strict action should be taken against him (Abhishek) and the vendor should be changed, I demand you will have to compensate me for the inconvenience I have gone through and for the way I have been treated, then I caled the LG cal centre number and was given the manager's number and told to call him on [protected] Sajid by name and the number was given by Ravi

                                        Please look into the matter asap and I wnat my AC back tomorrow without fail

                                        LG Window AC 1.5 Ton — Service issue

                                        There was a low cooling problem in my AC in April. I called on customer care on 24th April for the service. Request ID for my call is N8C42409351. Problem attended by Greater Noida service centre. Taken to service centre for gas filling. After 2 or 3days, cooling & noise problem occured again. I called on 5th May and got request ID N8C50500863. Problem not attended. After that when AC stopped cooling I again called on 13th Aug and got request ID N8C81300131. Now engineer told me that gas leaked and you have to pay again as warranty of 3 month passed.
                                        If problem was not attended by the company engineer, is it customer's duty to recall the engioneer again and again. I don't want to pay a single penny and want my AC repair free of charge. Pls suggest...

                                        It has been 2 years we purchased LG window ac (12/04/07) and when the time we purchased this ac the shop keeper commited that we have 3 free services fr three years .. i gave the req fr my first service in the month of july.. then LG Executive came and did his job well and this year i called again to cust care fr second service of my ac this time cust relationship officer sd that the 3 free service is applicable fr One year..

                                        If we see on Ac there is nothing mention that this is applicable fr one year and second i gave the req fr my first service after one year why Lg executive came at my place and did free service.. why.. I want another Two services which was commited by the company side...

                                        LG/ Window AC 1.5 ton — Gas problem & Servicing

                                        i have given complain for gas problem & for servicing my window AC on 24 Th April 2009
                                        i recd sms alert also on the same day that your complaint will be attended in 48 hours
                                        complain ref no. is W9C42405645 but till date i have not recd any call from technical department
                                        for the same. on 27/4/09 & 2/5/09 i called up on customer care no. i was informed that they are putting reminder for my complain. but no result.
                                        i request company to look into this matter and do the needful

                                        LG-AC — Service complaint not attended

                                        I registered a complaint on 18/05/09 id # N9C51806928 for servicing my 1ton split AC bought less than a year ago.

                                        LGs claim of Prompt response/ After sales service/No waiting /2 Hr-1Day-1Hr is totally a bogus claim.
                                        That's my experience.

                                        I complained again on the 19th that nobody turned-up or called up even, I was again promised action. Nothing happened

                                        3 free services were promised on the AC at the time of purchase.Not even one has been done so far.Shortly it will complete 1 year.



                                        Anyway pls explain the delay and remove-Prompt response/ After sales service/No waiting /2 Hr-1Day-1Hr the false claim from your site.

                                        Hopefully we can look forward to some action now...

                                        MY POINT IS THIS, WHEY THEY DONOT DO MY THIRD SERVICE.
                                        I AM RESPONSIBLE FOR THE 3RD FREE SERVICE.

                                        I had purchased LG Window AC in July, 2009. It was operated for about 3 months with 4-5 hours operation. Even, the first service has not been done, it stopped working. I lodged complaint to LG Helpline on 14th April, 2010 Complaint No. C [protected]. The part (PCB) was taken on 14.4.2010 but the same has not yet been replaced yet inspite of repeated reminders in Helpline, Senior executive and service centre. Ten days have passed and my son preparation for AIEEE engineering exminations has been badly affected. Kindly suggest solution.

                                        I register my complaint on date 25th May 2012 to LG customer care regarding Window AC which is not getting ON.

                                        After three days one service engineer come to attend the problem and after checking that he found that PCB controller card got faulty. Then he told to us, after two days it will be replaced but none of any service engineer coming to rectify the problem and even neither he nor his supervisor picking the phone.

                                        I have taken the 3 year AMC for this product, inspite of this they are not attending the compaint.
