I've an LG 1.5 ton window Air Conditioner. The aforementioned A/c is under AMC.

I gave a complaint on the 29th of March 2012 for regular servicing. When the technician arrived after 2 days he found out that the gas had leaked. He promised to get it picked up and repaired the next day.

Today is the 10th of April and I've been calling up the call center everyday as well as the supervisor ([protected])at Noida. The response that I receive is that, they will resolve the complaint by the EOD or in next 2 hrs. But nothing happens. I repeat the same cycle everyday,growing more and more frustrated. Every one refuses to pass the call to his supervisor. I've spoken to three gentlemen by the name of Jai, Shiv and Aditya tiwari in the escalation team at the call centre. Jai and Shiv promised to call the service center and let me know what the status would be by EOD. Of course the call never came and they were conveniently unavailable the next day. I've spoken to a lady name Pooja ([protected]) at the call center who promised to get something done and promptly forgot about it. She refuses to pickup her phone.

Today finally spoke to Aditya Tiwari at the call center who got in touch with the ASM Sameer Dewan(([protected]) who in turn promised to get the AC picked up today, repaired and delivered by 12the March. Don't have too much hope of this happening.

It reminds me of being back in the 80's when service was an unheard of thing in India.

In fact, the aforementionsed supervisor once reverted saying that the transport had been dispatched to pick up the AC. This turned out to be a blatant lie, as I kept waiting and no one turned up.

Compare this with there response till last year when they used to action any complaint with in 24 hrs.
The only reason to go for an LG and Samsung product was the service that one could expect from these giants. Never again will I buy or recommend an LG product.

    Our LG machine is under warrant period, but while washing cloths, machine makes lot of big noise.
    The software is not functioning proper. When you see, 6 minues left and all of suddent, after noise you get error and then its back to 16 minutes.

    Despite complaining on number of occasions, company representative doesnt come and look into the matter despite giving complaining on number of occasions.

    We want our problem to be solved before warranty period expires in April,2012.
    So pls look into the matter and provide resolution.

      I, Sunil Adavade, residing at 213/18. Sahakar Nagar-1, Shell colony, Chembur , Mumbai-400071 have purchased new LG referigerator Model no.338 VA 5 ,( double door )from Manu Music center, 33/2, sarvodaya Estate, off. fly over, R.C. Marg, Chembur Mumbai- 400071 on 11.10.2009 for Rs. 18990/- with exchange offer and received delivery of the same on 15.10.2009 having Bill no. 30547. With in a one month i.e 16.11.2009 it has got problem with the Timer for which we compailned to the service centre and the same was replaced. This was happend with the new brand referigerator. Now two days back also we complained to for not cooling the referigerator, again it has been suggested by the service person that they have to replace the timer ie. with in span of one year there was a problem with the new brand LG referigerator three time. If such is the qualiaty of the LG products then why are using the slogan like life's good, I personally feel that the life is bad after purchasing LG products. Kindly therefore not my compaint and request you to please help me to get the new referigerator replacing the above said old one.

      I have recently noticed that there is some discoloration happening. I have lodged a complaint (Complaint RNA[protected] with the customer care center on the 16TH SEP2011. This complaint was to be attended to on the 17 SEP 2011.
      Since then, almost everyday I have been in contact with the customer care executives. in dehradun Everyday it is the same story that I get to hear from them. everyday i get an assurance that the complain will be resolved today and story repeat itself

      My Name is Ranjanben D Parmar..and i was bought LG refrigerator on 2nd Feb 2013...at the time of delivery(2nd Feb) refrigerator was already defective...our dealer told us that we registered your refrigerator complain to LG company...they registered complain but for 15 days we didn't get any service from LG...after 15 days one more time i go to dealer and registered complain again...within 10 minute i got call from LG that we come to your home next day but no one come...after few days a person come from LG and change a part but the problem doesn't solved...and tell my senior will call you tomorrow for this...but from that day i didn't get any call from LG company...at that time price of refrigerator was Rs. 18900 but i pay Rs.19300 for refrigerator but i didn't get proper product for the Rs...my children earn that money by doing hard work and gift me refrigerator...i think LG is Playing with our feelings...please help us...my email id is divyesh.[protected]@gmail.com and my contact num is [protected]...hoping for reply...Thank you..

      I have purchased a LG Refrigerator on 29th April, 2014 at Venkateswara Radio Home, Chirala. The Dealer has not given the Demo, at present the below storage door is not opened, so I have contacted that dealer he said log the call with LG, when i log the call with LG on 04th May 2014 vide complaint no. RNA[protected] they assure me that within 72 hours the complaint will be resolved, but nobody is turned up so far and not received any call from any body. When I contacted the customer care the senior person Mr. Krishna is behaving very rudely and he is not ready to provide the service center contact no too.

      So i request you to please escalate this issue to the concerns and resolve the issue at earliest.

      I would like to bring this issue into media and seek your assistance in the matter of LG refrigerator double door which I have bought on 29th April 2011 which has slowly stopped giving cooling since last 1 month it .

      When I lodged a complaint yesterday to LG, they sent their Service engineer representative who said, its a manufacturing defect from "Package Assembly System Leak " which should be of Copper and Company will bear the charges . I would have to pay only transportation charges.

      Now Workshop calls me and say that I would have to bear the charges as their Service Engineer was not aware about it . On the other hand they say, it is manufacturing defect only if i would have lodged the complaint within 3 years from date of purchase.

      As i understand, Company manufactures the product in lot then how come date of complaint is getting considered to decide if it is manufacturing defect or not ?

      Now they are asking me to pay the charges of Rs 3500/= as date of purchase = 29 April 2011 and date of complaint = 6 June 2014 . If complaint would have registered before 29 April 2014 then it was free of cost considering Manufacturing defect .

      I own a double door LG Refrigerator model: GR-M492YVQ. Ever since I bought this unit, there were issues but manageable. On 23rd May 2013, PCB was repaired with warranty period until 22nd Aug 2013. For the last one month door alarm was continuously ringing so I called LG maintenance. Two technicians ( so called) came and said that someone has wrongly connected the PCB so I need to repair it again. I got shocked because the PCB was earlier repaired by LG technicians only. After talking to the concerned person in LG Maintenance office, I told him just fix the PCB back and no need to repair it. It should be noted that the refrigerator was cooling and working perfectly except the alarm sound. Today entire machine is down. I am really disappointed with the service. It looks LG is outsourcing maintenance to smaller repair shops outside and there is no guarantee that qualified and trained technicians would be attending your complaints. Regret having bought new vacuum cleaner and washing machine from LG

        I have purchase one Ton Air conditioner( Model LSA3FP2VTY, Sl No. 003NLZW000261) from M/S New Kalyani Electronics, Uttarpara on 11.02.2011. Dealers'people came and installed the M/C. This LG make A/c, we have used not more than 40days till date.When in this year we try to start but air conditioner is not functioning. Than I informed to you. Your rep. came and checked and reported me due to bad installation the gas leaked and require to refill. Then I telephoned to Dealer and your people talked to him and then they told that gas was not leaked due to installation. How the gas leaked? Is it defect of machine? I have 2 Nos of A/C in this house make Voltus & Samasung. We are using this A/C for more than 7 years. But no gas is required to refill. I told to your people ,refill the gas with a charge of Rs 1699.But I have not convinced as I was retired Mechanical Engineer working in Defence sector.
        You are requested to look into matter and send your engineer to rectify the defect otherwise you will spoin your good name and I will go to Consumer Forum to solve the matter.

        LG Split Air Conditioner — Defect of new Machine

            We have a window AC and last year while getting it serviced we took the AMC of it for 7000.00, as the representative told us it is useful but now when we are trying to contact them there is no response.
            I filled a service request on 5th april 2012( RNA[protected] I have not received any response till now, I have contacted there service center number-[protected] but it is either busy or gets disconnected, no one picks it up. I have also called there customer care no[protected] and[protected] and they are not able to help either, have spoken to Adbhut, Prashant and Deepak (supervisor) but to no avail.

            I wish I had not taken the AMC, I could have got it serviced by any electronic shop in the vicinity.
            My appeal to you, dont take AMC from LG, they dont have the service that they offer.

              My Mobile No [protected] (MP). Balance amount being debited without using the outgoint calls. Reliance sending unauthorised SMS/Jocks without application. It should be stopped forthwith and debited amount be remmitted in the amount. In case of faluare no amount will be deposited and only incoming call facility will be in service. I have already purchased other mobile service.

                LG India is giving their below rated customer services from last two years. From last 3 days I registering complaint for air-condition servicing. Customer care says technician will visit within 24 hours but result is zero. I complaint 3 times but no response. Customer care had given me one mobile number of m/s Highend Solution in Rougouri Garden but they mobile number[protected] is off mode. I am a user of LG products from a decade. Earlier it was good but I suggest all of you, please don't go with other companies product. After purchasing the product you will be depended on God only.

                Two times they are charged gas for one of my Window AC. Still again same problem. If AMC is due, every member of customer care will call to irritate you. Begging gor AMC. What a Company.

                  I purchased LG Double Door model no. 258V55 Srl No 008NLHV002913 on 14 Aug 2011 for Rs 17000/=. But, It had to be changed the next day as it was not cooling at all. So a new refrigerator was given after a week with model number GL 255VS5 Srl No. 105NRLW176424. I regret to inform that after seven months the new refrigerator also stopped cooling. A complaint was lodged on 05 Apr 2012, the complaint number being RNA[protected]. However, the complaint was not resolved as of now.

                  It appears that the design and quality control of LG refrigerator are of poor standard. I am afraid that this model will again develop some defects after repair also. My faith and trust in the quality of the refrigerator has gone down.

                  In view of the above the refrigerator may be taken back and my money be refunded at the earliest.

                  LG Refrigerator — no cooling ,complaint not resolved

                  Dear Sir
                  My double door refrigerater purchased in the year 2002 was continously giving problem in cooling.
                  I had paid Rs 2000 in the year 2004 for its repair & also on the advice of Service Center Engineer got its AMC for upto June 2009.
                  The refrigerater is not giving Cooling so lodged a comlaint on Call Center on 12/06/2010 No C [protected]. The Engineer visited & took it to the service center saying that the Gas has to be filled .I had reminded several times to both Call Center & Service Center , still after 9 days the complaint has not been attended , on my enquiry today , I was informed that the gas has to be filled & whenever it will be rectified , it will be informed.
                  LG is such a reputed company, which is famous for its products and resolving the customers problems immediately, why the service Center of Bareilly is not giving the proper treatmrnt to my complaint , in such a hot days . My family is facing great inconvience for this.
                  If is not attended with in 2 days I shall lodge a complaint in Consumer Forum & give the matter to the Press.

                    Hi,

                    I have taken LG Happy Living Plan AMC for my split AC in June 2010 for 2 years.I have raised a request for the servicing of my AC on 07th April and was told by the customer care that the technician would call me to fix an appointment but till now I have'nt received any call from them.

                    Also,today I again spoke to the customer care and asked him to provide me the technician's number.When I called up the technician (Concept Air Conditioners,Delhi Mob No : [protected]);the person showed interest initially but when I told him that I hold LG's HAPPY LIVING plan AMC than his tone changed and he informed me that due to peak load he is very busy and would not be able to give an appointment till the next 4-5 days.

                    I think their should be some SLA of when the request can be completed and the appointment should be fixed within some time of raising the request.I prefered the servicing to be done on a weekend but it seems to be a rare possibility now.I have spent around Rs 4000 for the AMC and expects that a good service should be provided atleast for basic servicing of the AC.

                    It would have been better if I would have used this amount for paid servicing for better response from the technicians.(Cocept Air Conditioners,Delhi)

                    Please look into the matter urgently.

                      Lgeil Gall No 6-9, S2, Golden Park Complex, Near Majiwada Hardas Nagar, Panchpakhadi, LBS Marg, Thane West, Thane - 400601

                      to get the Flat Screen TV set & LG Microwave repaired by the

                      However I am not getting any proper response. It is found that LGEIL has engaged third party for after sales service.
                      Further the Service request & complaints are received by another third party(BPO sort) who most of the time are not aware whom to esclate the service request.

                      The Third party employees, who call themselves the engineers are not at all competent enough to handle the services.
                      In last 12months over more than 3 different 3P engineers have visited yet they are not in a position to resolve the service complaint.

                      It is high time now, I have already approached the Legal council to initiate the appeal in the local consumer court.

                        I have purchased one LG Microwave, model no. MC-7148ms, Serial no- 912ABDM021146, on 23/01/2010. Also I have “LG Happy Living Plan” AMC for the same valid thru 05/12/2011 to 04/12/2014. I paid Rs 2000.00 for the AMC and Rs. 700.00 (extra for the person visited to check the instrument – Mr. Sudipta). Suddenly it was stopped working and after that several complaints was lodged with complaint nos. RNA[protected], RNA[protected], RNA[protected], RNA[protected], RNA[protected]. A mechanic came on the 4th night and told me some parts were burnt and will be replaced within 24 hours, but he did not turn up. Contacting him, he said parts were not available. Most surprising thing is that every time we called they told there was no complaint lodges yet and ask the same questions and giving the same answer.

                        I have sent several emails, but they are now stop responding.

                          I had purchase LG-6RG 21"TR, Model No- 21FU6RG-T8ATRDLLN Colour TV.
                          But presently I face a big problem in it regarding its functioning, the problem is that its picture vibrate/ fluctuate too much & makes picture impossible to be visible.
                          The problem I face first time after around 1 Year of buying it, but that time its not constant & occurs in between & then corrected automatically. When problem occurs constantly I call at LG service centre & they send the engineer. Service Engineer came at 16.12.2011 & take away the Circuit board with him & replace a IC after which the problem rectified.
                          Again the problem occurs after 2 months & again I logged a complaint. This time engineer came & said to bring the TV at Service Centre to rectify the problem completely. After 15 days they return the TV (dated 16.02.12) with correction. Again after 9 day the problem repeats itself & again I logged the complaint (Complaint No- RNA[protected] dated 26.02.12)
                          Kindly resolve my problem urgently. I fed up.
                          Still no proper response from LG Service Center.

                            i have purchased lg mobile handset p350 in the month december 2011 , n after few days i started facing problems in it like hanging and all. i went to service center to get it oki but after 3-4 days i started facing same problem again and after i again went to service center and told them that its really disturbing me this problem please replace my handset but they didnt and said we'll solve it but after few days i started facing again same problem but nothing done. its my humble request to you please get it done and get my problem solve as soon possible because its really becoming hectic for nowdays.

                            LG mobile phone — damaged product

                            i purchased the mobile in "Sangeetha" i.e the damage piece means it is sealed by 3 lables & i requested to in shop by replacement they told to go "LG service centre" in LG centre also they didn't replaced the mobile & they did the software update & given to me return back. hardly 5 days new moble software updation?????? please help regarding this.

                              The day I bought LG water purifier(LG-WQD74RJ5P), I lost my peace.I was promised that it would be installed on the same day.But I was left to deal with highly non-cooperative and obnoxious seervice center employees,who knew nothing about installing the water purifier.I had to literally chase those guys daily for 6 days after the purchase.If the time set for the installation guys was set at 4 or 5 in the evevning they used to turn up late in night past 10,and leave without installation,giving lame excuses.I took two days off from my work to get the installation done,but still they didnt do it.They said they will need 4000 rupees extra to get extra inlet and outlet pipe,and I had to get plumber from outside,because they are incapable of attaching a tap to a water connection already available.It has cause me some of mental stress thay I have decided to return the water purifier and would never buy another LG product because of this despicable service.

                                I have purchased led 26 inch lg tv and suring installation technician broke hdmi cable during wall mounting. the technician has no experience and not proper language use. make complaint with service center and there is no response.
                                also purchased lg home theartor and no proper guidence given.and unskilled technician having not any knowledge.

                                  I had gone to a Pai international (Malleshwaram) showroom to buy a mobile phone on 31/3/2012.
                                  I even swiped my card for 17,300 RS in a Axis bank swipeing machine, but due to some server problem I was not able to get the transaction receipt but amount from my debit card(account) was deducted.
                                  After that the showroom people checked the transaction history, since they din't had the transaction receipt they din't get any information regarding the transaction.
                                  So here comes the exact problem, I tried speaking with them regarding this but at any point of time they din't agreed to me.
                                  At last they finally came to a point where they called the Axis bank manger actually to be honest the person whom I spoke with was even worse than these guys.
                                  I explained everthing to him but he just kept on telling its not our mistake its technical issue and also told that he can't do any thing but send a mail as transation was not sucessful at the start. After some time he told I am in home and I can only send after Monday.
                                  You will have to walk up to the bank people and recredit the money to your account.
                                  Its been 3 days now, neither I got response from Pai International nor from that so called Axis bank Manger.
                                  My question is what was my mistake? swipeing the card.
                                  Why I have to run around for which I din't had to done any mistake for my money behind these people.
                                  I am posting this mail as nobody sholud face the same problem as I have faced, lost my money and waiting for people to do something who are least bothered about my money or my problem.

                                    I bought an AC from LG Shoppee - Velachery on 07 AUGUST 2011 ( Invoice number - 2693 )
                                    On the second week itself. its lower flap was not working.
                                    I made enough complaints in LG Customer care and the shop from where i bought my AC.
                                    There was no response for three months and finally when I threatened the case for escalation to consumer form, they replaced the damaged part.

                                    Again 1 month later, the flap got damaged and the technician from service center who checked ( on 27 March 2012) confirmed me that the flap was broken and will replace in two days time.
                                    When i called back him after two days, he said the product was not available and he has wrongly ordered a plaf for one ton instead of 1.5 ton (which is mine) and will replace it on saturday (31 March 2012).
                                    There was no response from the service centre side till 6.Pm saturday and i called back the technician who told me "Sorry sir. I'm going home - so I will come and replace your flap on sunday"
                                    On sunday when i called him, the response was like this "since today is sunday, there is no service and will come on monday"
                                    He didn't came on monday and again I had to walk to the LG Shoppee, Velachery (the shop from where I bought the AC)
                                    The manager of the shop intimated this issue to Southern Regional Manager - LG and ensured the damaged product will be replaced to me on Tuesday ( 03 April 2012)
                                    Till 5.Pm, tuesday there was no response and i had to make call to the Shop Manager. In his absence, some lady attended the phone and asked me to wait two more days since their audit is going on..

                                    In fact LG - as a whole is cheating me with irrelevant excuses, the product being purchased for INR 25 thousands.
                                    Since the flap was not working properly, I had to spend my Electricity Bill 4 times my normal amount if the flap was working.

                                    Respected authority I need your intervention in this case so badly.. and request you to help customer rights.

                                      we have purchased ac AC Model LSA5ES5Z, 1.5 t from Comfort Shopee BHOPAL vied Bill no14933 on 12.3.12. the AC was installed and the LG man said that the commissioning engineer will come. next commissioning person came but fail to commission the set. he said that some part is burnt/failed in side.
                                      since that day no person has come to attend. we meet all person ,Zonal manager. service centre etc. they are assuring to replace complete unit but not doing practically.
                                      please arrange either of one:-
                                      1:- replace complete unit.
                                      2:-replace defective part.
                                      3:- refund our money.
                                      please do this at the earliest.
                                      in case we do not get your response we will have no other option except to go for consumer forum.
                                      please take up the matter seriously.

                                        I am Gopi from chennai bought LG SPLIT AC recently and the same has been installed next day of purchase. The very next day AC was not working and had call to LG customer support ( after long wait from that LG toll free no) . Third day the engineer had come and checked the AC and said compressor Fault. But, he didn`t mention when it would be replaced. Every day we are calling for the same and we are getting the answer of this week ( we have completed four weeks)
