I have to bring to your notice that I had written a letter, reproduced below, to which I did not get any response to the issues raised by me except the acknowledgement. I had not claimed any compensation but it was only a feedback which I thought your people will determine the accuracy and relevancy to know what they are doing right and where they need to improve. In case investigation proves to be true what I have stated in my letter then I must be compensated by replacement or repair free of cost. I hope you will not disappoint me in responding this Mail.

Sir,
I feel it obligatory on my part, as a consumer, to bring to your notice the following facts.
My son purchased a Mobile handset on 27.06.2008 at Bhubaneswar vide Model No: LG-RD 6100 / RSN: RLGHS [protected]. In the first week of this month it developed a problem – when switched on, the light with the word LG appeared on the screen and it disappeared with in a fraction of a second and again automatically appeared and went off. This ON/OFF continues until disconnected from the battery. When approached your service centre, they said there is problem with the Mother Board which needs replacement and it will cost more than `700.00. As stated by you the self protection function of the battery cuts power of the phone when its operation is in an abnormal state. If your claim is correct then there should not be any damage to the components inside the handset. Any way I am not an Engineer or Electronic expert but the durability of the equipment is under question as you also state “ LG creates handsets that provide an optimized mobile experience to customers around the world, with cutting-edge technology & innovative handset design capabilities, with advanced wireless solutions.â€
I am sure while designing this set your R & D people must have kept in mind the durability or the life span of the components fitted inside the handset which can never be two & half years. I feel there must be some assembling or manufacturing error in this handset which needs to be investigated by you though the warranty period is over.

LG Washing Machine — parts replaced
We bought LG front load fully automatic washing machine and it started giving problems just after 3 months of purchase. After registering the complaint 5 so called engineers from LG visited our house to check the washing machine but none of them could figure out the fault in the washing machine instead they gave illogical explanations like there is a voltage problem in our house etc..but finally one engineer told me that the washing machine will go to the workshop and the front panel would be changed within 2 days..after 4 days nobody came to pick up machine and again after redistering the complaints on one fine day machine was picked up from our place and when deliverd back to our surprise they had put old scratched parts on our new machine. I have called customer care atleast 5 times for this but no action has been taken. I am really really pissed off with their services and regret our decision of buy LG product :(
