Case against M/S LG Electronics India Pvt Ltd

In the month of October year 2009 we purchased 32'' LCD LG80FR from "Croma Showroom" Indrapuram, Gaziabad, Uttar Pradesh during festive season of Diwali.
Though we were happy and enjoying the screening on new LCD but our happiness lived very short and within the year in the month of september 2010 it was giving trouble. We made complaints regarding the product and an engineer visited us after a long wait. He checked all part e.g PCB, mother board ,chip set and display set and after visiting 3-4 times finally he replaced all major part. Though the company didn't charge any thing from us b'cos we had our warranty period. But we were unassured and ask the engineer that if the part damaged or malfunction agian then what we would do, to whom we approach. At this he assured us that we need not to worry about that as the goodwill of the company is very good in Market and also the engineer gave us the option of AMC (Annual maintenance Charge) but we didn't bother about the thing as we thought that now damaged parts has been replaced and would not give any troube for few years.

But again in the year 2011 mid of september our LG LCD Tv didn't work and giving problem. Though it has completed 2years but we are very much in mental pressure that the company has given ur wrong or malfunctioning product that's why it is giving trouble again and again.

Through this forum I would like to fill the complaints against "LG Electronic India Pvt Ltd" for selling us wrong or defected product worth Rs 35000 INR and betraying us.

Either they replace the product with new one or compensate us.

      i have taken new handset of LG CDMA model is LG6300 soon after it started giving severe problem in displaying names and numbers.
      someone message me but number flashes of some other person.same case with missed call and other call. its not showing correct numbers. i have complaint this to my dealer from where i had purchased it. he has sent my mobile to service centre 2 times but still this is not working properly and the problem remains as it is.

      now when i asked that to replace the handset he is refusing and asking me to contact LG company.

      LG / LG handset 6300 — Issue in my handset

      I had an issue with my LG6300 handset i have informed so many times to LG company as well as service centre but they are not given me a solution or also they are not replacing my henadset. Please help me for the same, please find my email communnication with LG.

      Any update on this request?.

      I got the call on tuesday[protected] from "Sanchit" regarding the confimation of deleivery of the handset, as per him either my set will going to be fully repaired or replaced with new one.

      Yesterday i tried to reach him out at 12:30 pm[protected] and he replied that he will confirm me the updated status with in 5 minutes, however i don't received any call/update from him and when i tried to reach him back so many times but i am not getting any responce from his side. This is not a professional behaviour.

      Please update me the exact ETA for the resolution of my porblem ASAP.

      I am very unhappy after purchasing LG handset LG6300, so please request you to change my handset or provide me appropriate solution for the same.



      Please find my attached service call logs details which i logged when i faced problems with my handset, apart from that i went to service center so many times and was given temporary solution every time. Most of the times, when I approached them, instead of logging a complaint, they use to provide me solution and the service was not documented. Inspite of many visits to the service centre, my problem still presist.



      The warranty of the handset is about to expire and I am helpless.



      I didn't expect such unprofessional behavior from a reputed company like LG.



      Please provie me permanent fix to the problem else I will be forced to rush to consumer forum.

        I have registered for a complaint happened to my television (Flatron 21 Inch) on 27th of September 2011. The complaint no: is RMA[protected]. Frankly speaking even after 27 days, nobody has attended the complaint. I used to get a call from some lady, which I think it is customer service representative once in every week stating that the engineer will visit that day. But there is no engineer visit happened or even any call / response from the so called imaginary engineer till date (that is as on 20th Oct 2011).

        Finally, I have taken the help of some local engineer and got the same repaired within no time. That also, not even costs the service charge or visit charge that LG charges.

        This is RIDICULOUS SERVICE FROM LG. THE CITY I AM LIVING IS COCHIN, WHICH IS THE HEART OF THE STATE KERALA WITH PROPER NETWORK. STILL THIS IS THE LEVEL OF SERVICE FROM YOUR COMPANY. SO I REALLY WONDER WHAT WOULD BE THE FATE OF CUSTOMERS AT FAR / REMOTE PLACES?

        I WOULD LIKE TO WARN ALL CUSTOMERS FROM BUYING THE PRODUCTS OF LG. THEY ARE CHEATING CUSTOMERS BY NOT PROVISING ANY AFTER SALES SERVICE SUPPORT.

          Hi,

          We had some problems in our LG Semi Automatic Washing Machine [Model No : WD9003] for which we had called the authorized representative from the company itself. Mr. Vinod had attended the case vide complaint No RNA[protected] and has suggested to take the machine at the service station for change of parts which would cost aroung 1500/-. He had collected Rs. 280/- as communicated earlier and had asked that their representatice from M/s Krishna Services will come and collect the machine from our residence. The machine was collected with procedure and on 17.10.2011 we received a call from service station that the machine is ready for delivery and the chages were said to be Rs. 1775/- which was later ratified to Rs. 1495/-. As per the representative Mr Vinodbhai the tranportation will be at the cost of company but now they have levied Rs. 250/- as transportation in my bill. When enquired some Mr. Prakashbhai who did not even provide with his full name said that if you want the machine you have to pay the transportation charges in a rude language. When we visited the service centre the rate chart for services was displaying Rs. 150/- as transportation charges.

          Out concern here is not Rs. 250/-, Our concern is that the charges were earlier not communicated and later we come to know that the charges are different as per the schedule displayed in the service centre.

          In this case we fear that in case if we do not agree to their terms and condition they would install inferior quality parts in the machine which might be harmful in longer run.

          Request you to please help.

          LG Semi automatic Washing Machine — Deceitful dealings/procedures and No response after

          I have visisted relainace dgital store at ambi mall, gurgaon for a LG semi automatic washing machine, On 7th Oct 2008, as i have decided to go with LG SA 1022M and i have paid through cash, they commited to send me the machine next day.

          They send the machine as usual on time, till now the things are going ok.
          but when i opened the cover of it, a Dent was there. So i called up to the reliance digital on their provided no.

          they promised me to send an engineer next day, to check the where dent is their in actual or not, I was waitng for the engineer to come on 8th whole day but no response from their, in the mean time i called back to customer care several times, and every time i called up their new face appear, and after teeling whole story to him he said ok sir i will call back to you.

          and after that all got blank, i was so much depressed with this kind of response. then finaly at 6 o clock everning when i called up their they expressed sir our engineer is on leave and cant come today so i will definitly send him at ur desired time.

          i ask him to come at 6 O' clock on 9th OCT 2008, but whole day their is no response. and when time goes above than 6, i was eager whether he will come today or not as well.

          So i called at least 25 times on reliance digital customer care, but every times some one pick up the phone and cut it, no body is ready to talk even.

          i think they got caller id and after seeing the number they cut it.

          then i got a call from engineer that I would like to come to yours place at 7:30 PM evening, then he came finally.

          He prepare a report and took my bill for replacement of the piece then he said it took another 2 days to replace the machine, and i feel helplees as today is the 2nd day but no response, from their side, and as i called them they said ok sir i will let u know, or call back to you, and till now today is 12 Oct 2008 i couldnt get my Machine.

          I never expect such kind of Service.

          once i complained either engineer should come with the new piece if machine and replace it, they should respect the time of customers as its not the case if i purchased the machine i m the biggest fool and now what ever they want it on their hand.
          I m really feeling helpless and dont wish to call again to customer care. bcaz they just said i dont have information or divert it to another person, and keep doing it till the customer got fade,

          the commitment should be proper and customer need to keep informed, if they simply make a call sir ur machine wil rach at this time, so that i can do some other work in th mean time and reach at home, but i have to wait whole day like this as i m alone at my home, like tehy can come anytime.
          thats really suffocating.

            i had purchased a LG ac one and half years back, i faced more problem with AC and the service they are providing, as of now i had raised so many complaints more than 5, when they came for service , they temporarily resolved the issue and go back and close the complaints, as of now i had changed the gas for 2 times...and cooling is not proper for 1.5 ton.. service executive is not more experienced...
            And now, i raised a compaling three weeks back, one executive came two weeks and told that..problem with the indoor they will take the indoor within in 3days....but no one yet come to my home...

            WORST and POOR Service by LG

              Last day on 13th Oct 2011 complained about your poor service & regarding representative of demo person ,I will get nice responce on second day but I think it's not your representative foult you must check work load of person representing onsite on each area.You must support your person 'who is always in front of customer.Now my demo is carried out on 14th Oct 2011.

                Inspite of complaining number of times i regret to say LG has not bothered to respond positively. instead of accepting the fraud done by its dealer,LG is protecting ABHI ELECTRONICS,sector-10, faridabad by offering me the difference in sale price of the two refrigerators.furthermore the defective refrigerator they have delivered to me,LG is reluctant to replace it by a new one.though LG has not been able to repair it even after my six complaints to LG consumer care.                   My LG Refreigerator is not working properly since I purchased. Local engg. use to visit and make it functional but that last maximum for 30 days again problem same repeated. this is now on LG AMC contract up to 2013. Pl send some one to find out the real problem, I become fed up with this refrigerator. I shall never advice and recommend any one to go for LG product at least for refrigerator.

                  I hope you will look into this matter and see this local agent contractor for maintenance should not spoil the brand name of LG electronic.

                    At the time of delivery on 3rd of Oct 2011 his men committed to deliver up to 7.00 PM but failed to deliver, all family members are waiting up to 12.00 Am next day as no phone call from delivery men that they cancelled their delivery at my home.on that day.How ridiculous that one of the Branded Dealer One of the Branded LG product not deliver on time as per their commitment ,If you said us about your delivery and you not then you must be defaulter.You must take your time.

                    But I forget to complain such type of silly complaints to dealer owner, I thing dealer doesn't known about these things why we going to disturb.Dealers sales person then committed us to send Demo person urgently on next day 5th Oct 2011 instead of delivery on same date but now today is 13th of Oct 2011 your demo person is not reached up to us.
                    This type of mistakes is not calibrated in market you must go through these and try to sort out it.If at the time of starting if we not going to satisfy your customer then what will be guaranty in service days that your servicemen's will going to entertained us.
                    I don't want to claim anything against you but this gets down your reputation in market.calibrate your dealers literate them regarding on time delivery,follow their commitments any and how.Your product if Life's Good so please go like slogan.
                    I think be half of this complaint on the next day may be your Demo person will be at our door step.

                    Hello,
                    Had registered a complaint of my lg screen-Complaint no.:RNA[protected].
                    this complaint was registered on the 5th of october 2014. its almost a month now .
                    They followed up only for coming and checking the screen but later no call back or response fro the lg side. I had to call them up time and again further hearing new reasons for the complaint to be delayed.Pathetic experience of lg service.The authorised person also blocks my call or doesn't receive them. Lg its better if you'l shut down your service.

                      Dear Sirs, I had purchased captioned gadget from M/s Standard Radios, Jhansi, about 3 months back. My wife lives at Jhansi and I use to join her on Saturdays evening and go back to my job at Gwalior on Mondays morning. Despite my repeated humble requests, no one came to my house for Demo. Unfortunately a pair of panels is waiting to be fixed by Demo Personnel. Can you please be kind enough to send some-one for demo at our residence on Sundays?

                      Recently I have bought LG washing machine from M/s Standard Radios, Sadar Bazar Jhansi. The dealer offered me free gift under company scheme however he told me that due to no stock he will get it delivered to my home with in 2-3 days, so counting on his words I have made full payment. However he has not delivered the gifts for more than a week. every time when I called he presented a new excuse. When I visited his shop after a week the dealer again gave a new excuse but when I insited and did not accept the same. He simply refused to provide any gift and told "nahi dunga jo kerna ho ker lo". He miss behaved with me and started shouting with abusive language. I would like to warn the consumers that please avoid this highly unprofessional dealer.

                        I bought LG TV at the year 2009.Now, i m facing the problem with my TV that it is being shut down automatically.Then i registered complaint with LG customer care with complaint no. RNA[protected] dtd 29.08.2011.

                        Service Engg. visited and stated that some part is unavailable hence he hold my request on pending status and as soon as part will come it will be repaired/replaced. After spare of one and half month, the problem is still pending and when i contacted customer care, they informed that complaint has been closed in absence o[censored]navailability of part.

                        It is un justified that without resolving the problem, complaint has been closed.LG is helpless to maintain the their product after launching in market.I am still facing the problem with my TV and customer care executive not able to explain how it will be repaired.

                          I own an LG Double Door Refrigerator GR332SVF. In the month of August 2011, the said fridge suffered over-voltage and two of the cooling fans got burnt. The same were replaced by the LG Service Personnel within a few days of complaint. After that the fridge started working (cooling). However, only the Freezer had been working properly and the lower portion of the refrigerator stopped working. After that a number of complaints were made to LG. On every occasion, their service personnel came and repaired the fridge, it worked fine only for a couple of days before it stopped cooling the lower portion again.

                          It is now almost mid-October and the fridge has not been fully repaired in-spite of a number of visits by LG Service personnel. The latest complaint Number is RNA[protected] dt 27 Sep 2011.

                            I've purchased LG Frost Free Refrigerator Model No. FEDG 5 on Dated 26.04.2011 from LG ELECTRONICS , kalimati road sakchi JAMSHEDPUR,.In last 6 months more than 15th times I have complaint regarding the fridge is not working properly ,lg can check the complaints details that how many times the complaint made I am not satisfied with the model . Because from the day I have purchased I am facing problkem in it so request you to pls change the existing model with double door model am ready to pay the differential amount for double door as we all know LG is name of a good brand so looking customer grievances LG should replace the existing model , as I dont want to change the brand I will go with the LG brand only but request you to pls get the unit replaced with the double door ,.looking forward with favourable response LG

                              I purchased an LG washing machine 5 years back and for the past 6 months it is giving problems.I am fed up of contacting the local service centre .My machine is with them for the past 3 months and every time I call them the reply is they are not getting the spare part.I have also tried to contact your customer service but they are saying that since the machine is at the service centre they cannot do anything.I want to know that a company like LG which boasts itself to be top class is having such poor after sales service.The local service centre is keeping the machine and not even bothering to tell anything to the customer.I am really hurt by their rude and irritable behaviour and regret buying an LG product.Also this is the third time I am complaining online and no action has been taken at your end.The after sale service provided by LG is totally unsatisfactory and I Think that i will never opt for an LG product again.

                                8 Months back i bought lg gs 500v mobile.From the beginning itself the processing speed of this mobile is too low,& poor browsing speed.now am facing a new problem my touch screen not functioning.so i taken my mobile near to lg service center.Their response also is same as like the mobile(very slow). Four times my mobile got the touch screen problem.I asked them to change the touch,but they are waiting for my warranty period to expire.

                                  Your Engineer came on 2nd october & changed the Gas but still no use , Again the deep frezzer got choked .

                                  I called your service station who used to call us for the visit of Engineer & after his visit also they called & said if the problem arises please tell us ,but when we called them they saying first register your complaint & then we call you .

                                    I have order LG split AC LSA3ERN3N and it was delivered on[protected]. On opening the box by LG technican it was discovered that wind flaps were missing. We have registered complaint regarding missing parts on the same day. The complaint number is RNA[protected]. Today, its more than 1 month I am following up with LG on customer care[protected], 69532104 and[protected]. I have called to customer care more than 25 times. Customer case executive replies that parts are not delivered, parts are not avialable, no technician is available, your complaint is registered as high priority issue, problem is escalated etc. But I see absolutely no positive response or sign from them.

                                      I am writing this note as I am totally annoyed and frustrated by the service actually no service that LG has been providing for the complaint I have raised. Life is Good seems totally misleading as you are making our Life Miserable by your service. I have raised a complaint on my Microwave owen on 17Sep 2011 RNA[protected] and till date no one has come to fix the issue. I have been calling LG service multiple times and every time they assure someone will come. They gave me a number for escalation but the person is either busy or doesnt pick the phone. Now the service center in Kochi also doesnt pick the phone. Am stranded now with nothing much to be done but be at their mercy. Any help to get this resolved is greatly appreciated.

                                      LG Microwave Oven — ir responsible answers

                                      i have registered a complaint in 06 Oct 09. Someone came and attended the complaint and said that some spares needs to be changed. However, since 20 days,inspite of repeated reminders, my complaint has not been attended( My earlier complaint No S 9CA 0600375 dated 06 Oct 09) . My fresh complaint No is[protected] dated 19 OCt 09. till date i have not received any answers to my complaint, nor am i able to know the status of the complaint.

The attendant attending the toll free number has no clue if the number provided is right or wrong. And they are not ready to find the correct number also. Pathetic service
