I had purchased split AC in 2007 and getting it serviced by LG only. Last service i got it done on 18th march 2007 and they had filled in the gas also and serviced it . their warranty is for 3 months but now my ac is not working i lodged in the complaint on 8th and they gave me a complaint no. and on 9th i again called up because there was no response they gave me another complaint no. saying that we wrote a wrong address the engineer came in yesterday but he didnt do anything as he said i will have to refill the gas. he came in today changed a valve and refilled the gas and again after 4 hrs my ac is in same condition that it is not cooling. i registered a complaint and they again gave me a complaint no. and no response from them

      goldeneye tv — not working

      Dear All,

      This is in reference to our TV complaints which we made 5 times in last 2 months and everytime we call up again they say it has been cancelled and they are going to make a new one. Is this the way to handle customer complaints. We are sure if such a thing is happening with us it must be the case with numerous others as well. It is amazing that a big company like LG can let this happen without taking care and realising that it is bringing harm to their name and creditibility. Also if we as a customer have undergo such harrasment and be without a TV for such a long time then we are not ready to invest in such a product/company. Apart from TV we have 3 AC 's, one refrigerator from LG which is making us think if we made a right choice by buying this product as well.


      Nothing more to say ! can only again request you to look into the matter and get it repaired as early as possible before we need to take a drastic step.

        sir
        with regard i am facing a problem of mobile phone spying by some wrong persons. it is harmfull for my security. sir i have a LG non multimedia mobile phone with imei no[protected].now i am using reliance gsm preapaid sim .in this phone no anti spy softwarw is used. i complaint aout this to network but it was useless.so please suggest me to overcome this problem.
        and a similar problem is causd in my mail id that is also spying by same persone.
        please suggest me right way to resolve this problem.

          Hi , This is with regards to our complaint no:C-[protected],We have made this complaint over the phone on 27th may2010 as our A.C was not cooling sufficiently and also last time when an engineer from your dept came did not fixed the A.C properly b'coz of which there was leakage in our wall below A.C ,on 28thmay2010, engineer from your department came , he checked the A.C but was unable to identify the cause of both problems , he said that i will put on a paper that there is a gas leakage b'coz of which it is not cooling properly ! Now on 31st may 2010, people came and they took our A.C with them to the Comfort Point A.C repairing centre of yours and told us that A.C will be repaired in two days and we will get the delivery on 2nd June. All this was Told by an agent we spoke with by the name of Abhishekh there. We requested them to deliver the A.C on the date they gave us as we have a kid who cannot sleep properly without A.C as b'coz of hot Temperature. Now till 2nd may 2010 afternoon there was no response by the A>C repairing Centre people that what exactly was faulty in our A.C. When we called them again to ask when they will deliver the A.C gain Mr. Abhishekh said that we will not get delivery on that very day. We asked them the reason of the same but that guy was not willing to tell us what the fault was. As weather was very hot that time somehow I managed to get the Number of Mr.Prakash Pandit who is the senior area manager of L.G Air conditioners. We requested him to work on our complaint . He did phone call to the engineer there and was told that they are waiting for cooling coil which was faulty and that they have not received the same which they have ordered also they said that they will be getting the coil in the evening and then they will start working on our A.C( which was all lies).Mr Prakash told them that what so ever the point is the A.C should be delivered on 2nd June as wwas promised .Now we got our A.C delivered on the same date. Now our major issue of A.C not cooling properly is still the same. When my husband called the Engineer there and asked him what was the problem with the A.C he told my husband the the condenser in the A.C was having Leakage so the cooling was insufficient which was altogether different answer which was provided by the engineers earlier. Now the major point of concern that the A.C was not cooling properly is still there and with that another problem of A.C making noise has emerged and with that thermostat of A.C is also not working.Also I have a major complaint against the engineers working with Comfort Point they really do not know what they are doing and how they have to manage complaints. Kindly help me for my concerns. AMC is also done for our A.C….

          Window AC — cooling is not proper

          i have purches a window air condition of 1.5 ton in march 2009, from raghu sales agra u.p.
          now this is not cooling properly, i have complaint so many time to dealer and near by service center.
          but they were not giving any responce and did not any action.

          L.G./ AIR CONDITIONER — TAKEN MORE THAN ONE MONTH TO RECTIFY

          I Arun Kumar Shrivastava, resident of E-303, GAMA-1, GREATER NOIDA, DIST-GAUTAM BUDH NAGAR (U.P.) complained first on 27.05.2009(no-N9C[protected].Again complained so many times to customer care. They always replied that your complain has been revised.After waiting, i again complained on19.06.2009, 24.06.2009 and 27.06, 2009(no-N9C[protected].On 02.07.2009 my A.C.was taken away by service centre.On 03.07.2009 i.e. today my A.C.is reinstalled and an amount of Rs.1539.00 has been charged on me.

          LG Window A/C — Not working from the day of purchase

          We have purchased LG Window A/C (1.5 tons) on June 20 09, it was installed and it started working like Air cooler rather than a Airconditoner.It blows hot air and inbetween cool air and stops for 10-20 minutes again blows the hot air.It is behaving in the same fashion from the day we purchased .We have called customer care lot of times but no response till now..

          After several complains AC was taken away by service centre.Paid Rs.1539.00 after reinstalling.Still in the same condition.Auto cut off is not working, thus resulting double electric bill from more than two months.What punishment should be given?

          LG Air Condition Window — Cooling Problem

          I have purchased 1LG window A/C on March 2010. but i am not happy to cooling of air condition i can complain more than 3 times but still i am face same problume and no body solve it. Some people come to company and tell me Sir A./ C Condensing Problume found in your A/c so I Can say you do which are suitable but Today I am not happy to your services.

          LG Room Air Conditioner — Abusive behaviour and bad service of staff

          Purchased a split AC of LG from the local vendor Sardar Electronics, Sadar Jabalpur.
          They arrived with the AC at around 10 PM in the night and simply barged in the bedroom without any intimation or permission. Then they did not installed it properly and left the main device standing over bricks and charged money for it! On requesting the seller to get installed properly, after about a month they again dropped in one day just like that and asked for extra money, used abusive language and refused to install it properly.
          Such unskilled and abusive local staff is bringing bad name to LG and it is expected of LG to take action against them for trespass, intimidation and threat to customer, and get our problem solved by a professional and qualified and non-abusive person.
          My file network is not working so not able to attach photos.

            LG split ac the auto ' on ' is not functioning and the remote control

            only to be used when the power dipps the ac stops working and when

            the normal power comes the auto ' on ' is not functioning and the

            remote is to be used to start ac functioning. this is very horrible

            as we have to constantly watch the ac working

            all complaint to LG authourised call centres did not work and they

            could not find a real technician in chennai. sorry state of affairs

              I purchased a split AC from LG Delaer of LG Make Model LSA5AB5Vt1.AN48DV1 on 31st march2010. After installation Indoor unit started leaking continuasly. I made a complaint to LG Care on [protected].
              Received a complaint no.C[protected] before 27th May2010. And reminded several times with request no. Always receiving reply as framed reply that within 24 Hrs you will receive a call fromengineer and problem will be solved. But till the time I could not received a single call from LG Engineer. There electrical switch Board below the Indoor Unit and Stablizer. Due to this leakage short circuit can happen and it can catch fire. So LG is care less. Hopefully some body can help me. i want this prblem should be solved within actual 24 haurs by repairing or by replacing the same. If nothing is possible then I'll request to LG to take back their Split AC and refund my money.

                  Our AC was purchased on 30/05/09.Intial problem started after 2nd free servicing in the month of April,10 for which we complained to the dealer "SATYAM,Ultadanga,Kolkata" as well as to the customer care situated at Gurgaon,India.The problem was : automatically shutdown of the Internal Unit but the respective AC's Outdoor unit would remain on.The defect was attended by LG mechanics but couldn't be rectified, and repeated complaints were given to SATYAM the dealer and LG customer care and the complaint ID's are:-

                    I Sunita Dutt, R/o B-34, 10343 Ranjot Park, Haibowal Kalan, and Ludhiana bought a Split AC from Batra Electronics Gallery Ludhiana, Wide Invoice No. 3806 Dated 30.03.2010 Model LG A/C LSA 5NF3Vf2. On 0I.06.2010. Suddenly ac breakdown with reduced cooling, I lounge a complaint no. C-[protected] dated 02.06.2010. The service engineer came and checked the ac after checking the ac unit he asked me that the gas of the compressor has been leaked, the other engineer come and refill the gas. Today service engineer came and asked that the quail of the ac is leaked now the new quail will be installed in the unit. Sir, I have used this product only one month and user esteemed company engineer now want to bring my ac unit to their service center. I don’t want to retain this particular unit. I want to change my complete unit on this regarding I talk to Mr Vikas (Manager AC) on his telephone no [protected] , he bluntly refuse to listen me. He just blaming me that the unit is ok but this is the fault of installation team, if this unit installed by LG service center than we change the complete unit. Sir, this unit is installed by your LG installation team headed by Mr. G.S. Chawla, I informed this to Mr. Vikas, he suddenly breakdown and said we don’t change AC whether it is company fault or installation team fault. The owner of Batra electronics also refused to take interest in this matter and totally refused to co-operate me.
                    I am old customer of LG; I have LG refrigerator, microwave, and washing machine. Now I purchased the LG ac only due to the good services of esteemed concern. I deeply discouraged by Mr. Vikas Attitude. Pls look in to the matter immediately otherwise I have to go District Consumer Court. Hope for the positive.

                    I have purchased split AC on dated 04/03/2010. two times gas has been leaked so far .it is totally mistake of your installation team. they did not install the AC properly.Third service was done by your company.but they did not do the service properly I am doing complaints by mail from April but no action has been taken so far .they asked me to pay rupees 2000 for filling gas but i will not pay any amount because it is the fault of your company.they filled the gas in the month of august.After august i switch on ac in April i found there was no gas in AC.It is totally fault of your mechanic and poor quality product I will told fifty more persons do not purchase LG product.

                      I, Mayur Katkamwar bought an LG Refrigerator 185Ltrs(LG REF GL 195 NM4) on dated 30/12/08 from Vijay Sales Kharghar. But then I was shocked to realize that coackroaches are easily get into my refrigerator and are everywhere. We clean the refrigerator twice and thrice, remove and cleaned the plastic gasket(fitted on the door)but soon the suitation becomes the same. Lodge complaint to Vijay sales and their representative come and did the same(cleaned the gasket) and went away. Again it becomes the same.
                      I finally asked them to change the gasket and he did it but the problem still persist. It seems there is some design flaw.
                      We really got disappointed with it and request you to do send some senior person(LG) so as to correct it or otherwise please give us the replacement.

                      Expect the problem to be attended within 1 week time.

                        above bills total Amount Rs. 13147.76/- it’s covered 3 No’s of serial no’s LG air-conditioner only
                        Balance Rs. 12852.24/- We yet not received other bills and Another 6 no’s serial no’s LG air-conditioner not Covered in the bill.
                        More then 6 a/c machines are not running properly we raced compliant to LG Customer Care, They telling your bills not covered that particular a/c machines serial no, we will not service that particular a/c machines. So many times we Called EBR Enterprises EBR peoples even not attending our Call and we gave complaint to LC Customer Care, but they and responding to our call.

                        Please take proper action send our balance bills for our uncovered serial no’s a/c machines.

                        LG - Air Conditioner — Annual Service

                        Hi

                        I have purchased LG Air conditionerat Chennai a year back. The dealer told that we have free one year maintenance, whereby the maintenenace will be done 4 times in a year. but to my surprise till date nobody turned up for service nor called from LG reagrding this. I myself even tried the LG customer information center number but to my shock the number does not exist and iam unable to get the service centre number also.

                        I don't know that such a big company or their dealers are not having proper followup with the customers towards maintenance and service of their products. I think they will contact us only they wanted to renew the AMC.

                        I request to see this matter as otherwise the customer will have no other option than to switch over.

                        I also purchased LG Air conditioner in May'08 with the condition that 3 free service will be done. When I contacted, M/s.AR Electronics, Trichy they told me that we do not do any PM during warranty except that we remove the net and wash it and he advised to do the same by me instead of sending the mechanic. I feel that LG services are poor. I go with you.

                          Non working of split AC

                          My parents bought a split AC from M/s Gangotri Electronics . While purchasing the ac they asked the capacity of the ac that will be ideal for a room of 10ft x 12 ft capacity and were adviced that one tonne capacity would be sufficient. The same was purchased and their engineers came and installed it. However on switching on the the AC the cooling was not proper there was a drop of one degree in the temperature from 30 degree to 29 degree...

                          We bought LG fridge in 2004, and since then it has given us empteen number of complaints. Recently our compressor has malfunctioned, which is unacceptable, that a refrigrator of LG type will not have life of 6 years and smartly they give warranty of the compressor only for 5 years. It seem that they make the product such that its life is same as that of their warranty time.
                          I had a great appreciation for LG products, but now, I will think twice/thrice to buy any LG products and would convey the same story to other forums also.
                          L.G should read their name as "LOW GRADE" and not as what thay say "Life is Good". Actually the life with LG is not at all good.

                            I have Lg joymax Tv set which is facing problem,given problem at your service Southen service,they send Mr Uttam kandari who told me that your IC is ok but there is problem for voltage lickage so i m taking your set for our workshop for examine,so you have to pay for transportation cost so that you can get deliver at home,I have agreed He has taken my set from my house.After then nobody given fedback until i call,whatsoever comes to know that My Sets ic has a problem and it has to be change but co cant provide so they will provide local ic though their technician told that IC was ok,all conversation has recorded already,however i have agreed their advise and tell them to do it,but they have told me that set is ok but i have to go at their service station and have to give payment first then they will send my set though i have confirmed that i will pay whatever charges,Mr Nepal maity [protected] refused to do and tell to contact with your head office,i tell this story to your c/m care they given mobile number of Mis Nupur Banerjee[protected],but she never attend my calls after several times i also requested her by sms several times that Pls attend my call but she never replied then i also sms her with slang coz she has forced me to do it,it has just happened only for not sending my set at my house Nupur dont have to come in picture if when your person was taking set from my house told that i have to go to your service center for payment then i couldnt give my set,Now Mr Nepal maity threatned me tha my fatthers father have to go for payment at their office then will send when i have told that all your charges will pay at the time of geting delivery of set ( all threatning conversation has been recorded.Mr Siddharth Deb [protected] also not attending my calls,tell me just wether you will send set at my house or not as it has taken from my house , i m not able to understand that you dont have faith that c/m can pay all charges though you r unable to provide co made parts and for hiding Nupur banerjees neglignce to c/m for not attending,you can tell c/m that everybody have to letdown/ pray at your c/m care and have to wait for her moods then she think/attend then c/m may...get,Simply problem can b solve by sending set and taking money of charges at the time of delivery or you want to give a lesson to c/m that you dont irritate and dont use slang if our c/m care continiously neglecting/or attending you.                               2. Today I again spoke to Customer Care ( Mr Neeraj) who gave me this E-Mail ID. I have requested him to speak to your organisation at Noida and have my complaint resolved. The said complaint was lodged on 30 Apr'11 and todate, even after six days, I do not know the status of my complaint/product.
                              3.The persons at your repair organisation at Noida 'Servotax Services' do NOT attend the tele. Today, however, I got in touch with one Mr Rahul, mob no. [protected], who did not even listen to me properly and just said, "I will check and let you know" and hung up!
                              4. You are kindly requested to end the harassment of your customers by the employees of your Repair Organisation. My E-Mail below is self explanatory. Kindly go through it and take some action..

                              Dear Sir,

                              1. A complaint regarding non cooling of alc, covered under AMC was lodged with your Customer Care at tele no. [protected] on[protected] at 10:35 AM. One Mis Savita took my complaint and gave the Complaint no. RNA II[protected].She affirmed that someone will call me within two hours and the complaint rectified within 24 hours. THIS WAS IN KEEPING WITH THE LG SPIRIT PREVIOUSLY.

                              2.Mr Brijesh Kumar visited me at 4:40 P.M. on 01 May'll. Repair remark given by him on the job card stated "Gas Leakage". He assured me that the Alc will be picked by his company, MIS Servotax Services the next morning.

                              3.The Alc was lifted the next morning and LIFTING CHALLAN No. 8541 dt 02105/11 given to me. I was assured that the Alc, duly repaired, will be delivered to me latest by 03 May A.N. Well this was far from truth! On ringing up the nos given on the challan, there was no response. At one time one Mr Rahul did pick up the mob [protected] but hung up immediately saying "I will check and call you back." Well there was no call from him and after that no one attended to that tele.

                              4. On 04 May ' ll at 4:20 P.M. I rung up the Customer Care on tele given at Para 1 above and was
                              attended by one Mr Deepak. He promised to send a reminder but also told me to ring Nikita Lohia on mob. [protected]. Her mob was either on "meeting" or 'silent' mode. I was not able to contact her despite my best efforts!! All efforts to contact someone on the tele nos given on the "Lifting Challan" were also in vain.

                              5. It has been five days since I first reported my complaint and still I do not know the status of my
                              complaint or whereabouts of my alc. This is NOT what one expects of 'A Company Like LG". I
                              have fifteen items of LG in my house, as of date, incl Five alc and two fridges. If I have to suffer like this then you make me regret for patronising your company. This attitude has started wef 2010 and needs to be rectified immediately. If the company's turnover has increased, the customer care should also be upgraded too.
                              6. I request you to look into this as such instances will tarnish the image of your company in India
                              and leave your customers harrased and neglected with the rude and indifferent attitude of your repair organisation.

                              I have use cellphone LG company, Model no.GS550v.I have purchase august 2010 so that warranty is covered, i am going to at 6th June 2011 at service center ( Vision Communication, Bapunagar, Ahmedabad ) than my cellphone was submitted and executive said repairing after two day.i m going after two day again she said sir parts not available, company will not send to us. so that we call to u..

                              But not any positive response so i visit personal four time, only one answer said part not available company not to send us, than i m going 15th June 2011 and pickup my phone...

                              sir also manager said if company not give parts than we have not responsible for your phone so that i pickup my phone.
                              In that case LG company is careless or service center i cant understand so I have to decide that don't purchase LG good because LG company not service after sales...Below service center address:

                                I bought LG split AC, 1ton capacity on 26th April from Sales corner, Kothi Vadodara. After use of 4 days, we found the AC is not working properly, we contact the customer care, and after repetitive follow ups and requests, they have given the replacement of Compressor only. After that, we were out of town for 10 days, when we came back and checked the AC, its once again not working properly. LG technicians do not know from where the leakage is. So, i want both units to be replaced. I am continuously following up with LG customer care since saturday, but till time, my AC has not been replaced.

                                I humbly request to take care of my problem ASAP.

                                LG Split A C — GAS leakage

                                I have purchased LG split A C in Apr2010 and which was working fine. Recently(28.02.2011) I have shifted my house from palavanthangal to nanganallur for that I logged the call with LG for transfer the unit. LG has send two person for reinstalling A C in my nanganallur house and for that LG has charged Rs.1500/- I have paid amount and after two days chillness was very less then again I called them another two person came and checked and told that some Gas leakage and done the filling but it was not done properly I believe and I was out of chennai for some time in Apr2011 and when I came back in May I got the water leakage in main unit then I logged the call again some one have come and cleaned the main unit and said it is resolved and paid 440/- for service because in May2011 my A C was out of warranty but immedately on the next day again water leakage and then logged the complaint again and one person came and checked and he told installation was not done properly you have to re-installation I will send installation person and again after so many reminder one person came after four days and checked and he is telling now GAS leakage and he is telling to refill it and pay Rs.2200/-

                                Now I am facing problem especially in the peak summar - I do not how to proceed with this and they are not resolving the problem instead they are sending one or other person every reminder call.

                                  We bought LG refrigerator on 25th aug 2009, Inv.no.SINVIJVI109/12276 and
                                  unfortunately it came for repair already 3rd time for the same defect.
                                  It show that local service center was not able to fix a small problem and moreover
                                  we are sorry to inform that local service center convinced us to take
                                  annual maintenance contract so that we may not face problems like shipping our
                                  refrigerator to service center and don't have to pay for repair charges every time.
                                  So we paid Rs.850 towards AMC which will end on 25th Aug 2011. After receiving the money
                                  they are not at all interested to attend our complaint. It is totally cheating on their part.

                                  So when we lodged our last complaint on 27th May 2010, as usual they said some one
                                  will come and collect the refrigerator and untill now no one turned up and
                                  when we called them, they very rude and after making us suffer for 6 days
                                  they says we should bring it to their premises to get it repaired. Even we called
                                  call center and they always give only one reply, " some one will get back
                                  to you within 24 hrs". Call center people were so adamant and not even bother to listen
                                  our complaint. Looks like very cheap call center.

Since till now nothing has been taken place, Due to my several follow ups the complaint has been registered properly on May 11th (C[protected]), While follow up with my complaint status with LG maint care, coimbatore talking very rubbishly to customer, alsoe they require formalities more than 10 days (i.e.after the summer ends) already they delayed to register my complaint. I got a sms from LG for 24hours helpline against my complaint. While follow up with customer care they are instructing to complaint with LG Chennai head office.

                                    On spot payment, I had purchased an AC for this summer and no use due to purchase of LG. Their advertisement 01 minute 01 customer everything should be fake to cheat customer.

                                    For purchase of this product, I need to suffer a lot. The unit has been complaint in 30 days for that,

                                    1. I need to inform to dealer (Good Response)
                                    2. I need to inform to LG Maint Care (Very poor talking people and no response)
                                    3. I need to inform to Customer Care (Bad response)
                                    4. I need to inform to LG Head Office, Chennai ( No action)

                                    I feel now Life's Good without AC. LG shows me the experience, How Life's Good. Who will give the phone call money for the above.

                                    Now money and AC is ................

                                    My final request to LG is, "Think about the value of money and act immediately for the replacement". Otherwise return the money, I will go for another good product

                                    I bought an LG Split 1 ton (5 Star) A/C from Ezone Jananagar Bangalore. The A/C started giving problems within 20 days of installation and already had two repairs. I don't understand how and why would the a/c gas vanish in 20 days. Have informed the dealer that this should qualify for a replacement. Let's see how Ezone and LG handles it.
                                    LG,

                                    Till no action taken place from LG side since one month.

                                      My name is Mohammed Rafiq Ahmed Memon.

                                      I bought 4 LG Air conditioners(3 split and 1 window a.c) on 16 / 05 / 2010.The salesman(Deep Singh) of the showroom(Sony Mony at Opera House) showed me the one in the display.Although I liked the model, I told him to send me a new seal-packed A.C of the same model.He said that he will send me a new one .But when I got the delivery, I saw that the salesman had sent the one in the display.I called him immediately and asked him to exchange this one with a new seal-packed one but he said that he will exchange when the stock comes.Till now he has been ignoring my calls and when I told the cashier(Praveen) that I will go to the Consumer Forum, he said, “Consumer Forum ki dhamki nahi dena”.

                                      I have also talked to Mr.Pankaj of LG company.For the First two days, he was saying that they'll fix it but on last Friday(28 / 05 / 2010) he said that they dont have it in stock.

                                      I had called at Sony Mony's Prabhadevi branch as a customer, they said that the stock is available and you can come here at anytime to buy it.

                                      We bought this A.C for the summer season but now the rainy season will start at any time.It became of no use to use.Plus, I have to keep those big cartons in my small room.

                                      My order no. is : 1002499.

                                      Now my only hope is this Consumer Forum.Please help me get justice.
