i will purchase new plasma tv from lg own brand store but my tv has problem after two hours my tv automatic off then on it can be going many and sevral times but the enginieer of company says it is an the problem of my product its the problem of electric supply i will suggest all cus tomers of tv categries please dont buy by lg tv product my contact no is [protected] i will purchase my product on 13th of june 2010 and i will complaint for my product many times from all levels but i get no relief from any level

I totally agree. Same exact problem with my 42 inch LG plasma. Power supply failure. I've been in touch with them several times to see if they can work with me on covering the cost of repair, but they won't budge. I understand that the TV is no longer under warranty, and I don't expect them to fix it outright, but I would at least like them to cover the cost of parts.

If you do a Google search of "LG TV power supply, " you'll see that this is widespread problem with their products. Buyer beware!

I've lost faith in LG, their products, and their customer service. Common sense dictates that a $1300 television should last for more than 2 years.

Spend a few extra bucks and buy a quality product from another manufacturer!

LG 42" PLASMA T.V. — POOR QUALITY OF PRODUCT

I, MANOJ GAJJAR, bought an plasma t.v. on 13/10/2009. After a long time I saw low picture resolution and contanted lg services but it was just the after the warranty period's expiry. They asked for Rs20,000 for repairing. Still my complain hasn't been solved. So, I recommend the people viewing this complaint should buy any other product except LG....

    Hi Friends,
    I had placed a compliant (C[protected]) on June 1st 2010 with LG for my LCD for display error. I have the annual maintainance contract from LG for which i had to shell about Rs3000 more for two years. But till today (26th July 2010) the service has not been provided and now i am told that the part is not available as they have discontinued the particular LCD model purchased 3 and half years back.
    Hence i request everyone please do not go for LG products as they keep changing the models regularly and later on you will have to suffer for non availability of spares from thecompany itself even though you have the annual maintanance contract with them. None of the officials will get in touch with you even after you drop several mails to their mail id [protected]@lgindia.com.

    Please don't buy the LG products and later on suffer as i am sufferringnow.

      This is further to my complaint made on 22.07.2010. I am sorry to say that neither the set is repaired nor I received any reply from LG which is a totally violation of Consumer Act.

      Previous complaint

      I have purchased LG Mobile (GS155) on 10th July 2010 from Paragon, 23, Inside Udiyapole, Udaipur(Rajasthan) vide VAT inv No. 34220 , IMEI No:[protected] & Sr No. 003CQSF011446.

      This is to inform you that since than the said mobile is not working properly & automatically switching off. Sometimes hanged & does not work for hours . We approached to the Service Center located at 31, Indraprasth Complex, Outside Delhi gate, Shastri Circle, Udaipur & we were informed that new LG sets were having similar complaints & software will have to be updated. Please be informed that after updating the software, the same problem is still persisting. We request you to kindly change our handset immediately since it is in warranty period.

      On the request of your customer care I have once again approached to the LG Service Center & assured by them that problem of software has been rectified now. However on coming to home after an hour I found that the complaint has not been attended to properly & set is giving the same problem.

      I once again request you to kindly replace the set immediately since it is in warranty period otherwise I would have no option but to register my complaint with CONSUMER COURT.

      Hi this Ganesh, I have also purchased LG GS155 in last month but now its tarted to creat problem in head phone one side head phone is not working. today i m going to ask for replacement lets see what they say abt this
      I was not aware that mobile phones were being classified as Car Driving schools these days!! Since you have had problems with the phone service centers, maybe you should consider taking your mobile to the RTO instead since you apparently think that it is a car (in disguise).

        I BOUGHT AN SPLIT A.C.MODEL NO.(LGA/C5AB3) ON DT.23APRIL2010.MY FIRST COMPLAIN DT. IS 27TH OF APRIL,2010 (COMPLAIN NO.[protected]). ater there so many no. of complain i forward to LG.your engineer has come on every complain as ur service is good enough.
        but problem is that the same probleb didnt get solved till date.more then 50 times your senior engineer has came for inspection.but they didnt solve the problem.more then ten(10) times they put gas in it.they done more then 12times plain wash even they they brought my ac at ther serveice center there they people have done chemichal wash .
        i could not understand that this time i paid to LG for new ac or second hand ac. please reply soon as i m very much upset for this all.
        i need my money back as your engineer promise me that your money will be back within ten(10) days.I already given all documents to your engineer on dt.22-07-10.

        LG/SPLIT AC — Not installed properly

        I have bought a LG Split Airconditioner on 06.05.2011 from Dhanbad.AC was installed by LG Team ACE with installation charge of Rs 799/-.As rainy season comes rain water comes into my house through the hole which drilled for pipe for outdoor fitting.The hole was not blocked by the staff.Causing wall damage.

          Dear Sir / madam
          I am Chandubhai Majithiya. I Had purchase one new split ac from Super air condition. 4 Classical Bhuvan. Bhulabhai park. Ahmadabad.
          While Invoice no. R-274. Dated 23 July 2010. Model No. LSA5LP3AF6 L G air conditioner.

          Wrong delivery address wrote in invoice by supplier.

          Same has been installed on same day by your team .

          While installation and charging the gas they found that cooling coil of indoor unit was leakage. Then after that indoor unit was replaced by new unit sent by supplier. They didn’t charge gas after replacing the indoor unit.

          Your installation team has not made Installation report. Or any written document for installation.

          Next day I observed that abnormal noise coming from indoor unit. I complain for that and your team has visited on 7th July but they could not solved the problem.

          Then after I made number of call and discussion with Supplier and your Ahmadabad representative Mr. Bimal Mehata . He has sent a team on Tuesday 20.10.2010 . They found the problem but could not solved. They has also not prepared any written documents. But disused with Mr. Bimal Mehata on Mobile regarding problem.

          He has discussed with me on Tuesday 20th July 2010. regarding Problem in new installed LG split AC at my Home. And commuted to solve the problem within two days…. But it’s not solved.

          Most thing is that . today I observed that abnormal noise coming from outside unit also.

          Now I have doubt about LG product stability and also doubt about your service providing capability.

          You are requested to depute your technical team to check the product quality. If it is defected arrange to replace by new.
          I hope you will take appropriate action to solve this problem.

            I have purchased the split A.C. model no. LSA5LP3AF6, (sr. no. 003NLWT[protected] on 15.05.2010. The remote control was malfunctioned and hence given to dealer M/s. Sardar Enterprise, Rajkot. He has lodged the complain on 11.07.2010 and sent the malfunctioned remote to service Centre at Ahmedabad. THIS COMPLAIN WAS REGISTSRED VIDE NO. HOEC[protected];20;04. Mr Dasrath has received the same. Even after laspe of 10 days, the remote has not been replaced yet, and after giving another date all the time, has again told us to deliver after 15 days. I am not able to use the said product. Before I proceed to Consumer Forum for being deprived o[censored]sing my product, I insist to solve the problem at the earliest.

            LG — No replacement during warranty

            I have purchased an LG side by side double door refrigerator which is under warranty. The refrigerator has sensor and defrosting issues from day one. I had complained to LG and the service rep who attended it said it could be because of moisture. Now the refrigerator is not cooling or defrosting. I had registered a compaint on 16th. May. LG service centre says it does not have the parts and I would have to wait for more time. The area serice manager was very unprofessional and arrogant saying he cannot do anything and when asked for someone above him, said there is no one else who can help and hung up, I ha e also sent an email to LG but have not received any reponse. This is affecting us as we cannot store any food for our children as we are both working and have to stay at home. LG has bluntly refused a replacement and has said we would have to wait for the parts. This after spending 55,000 for purchasing a premium produst and all the service pomises whixh is pathetic.

              Dear Sirs

              I purchased one LG Split AC-LSA-3065VF1 (1 Ton) from your dealer M/s CAMS CORNER (P) LTD 8/1, Middleton Row KOLKATA 700 071. Tax invoice NO CA900, Dated 13/07/2010. S/N

              I have the following complaints against your brand

              1. I was promised installation on 15th but no one came till 6.00PM of 17th

              2. As per the technician Mr Shanti Karar who came to install your product, the indoor unit of the A/C was defective.

              3. Your service manager was immediately contacted and information was given to one Mr Tushar[protected] of CAMS CORNER. I was promised that a replacement will be given by 19th.

              4. When nothing of this sort happened & I kept on calling I was given the number of one Mr Suman [protected] of LG.

              5. Mr Suman first promised to look into the matter but later refuses to take my calls. Neither any body has called from your side till now.

              Today is 22nd and I am still running from pillar to post to get my A/C installed. I am sure that I have made a mistake by putting my money in LG product. It is noteworthy to mention here that we keep on buying products from LG and very recently we have procured two more LG Split A/Cs of the same model from the same dealer.

              It is my earnest request that my A/C be immediately replaced and installed.

                I have purchased a one ton AC model No. lsa3cg2af8.am20ql1(II) from the dealer Haryana T.V center on 25/5/2010 Serial No.004lprs005254. Right from the day it was not working properly after making repeatedly complaints to the vendor he again refilled the gas saying that there was a leakage . But the AC is still not working properly there is no cooling at all. Whenever we complain to vendor he said he cannot do anything. He threatened me to go to consumer court. Now AC is not working last months.


                The LG engineer visited said that I can't repair it now. He visited again after one week days and said the Ac compressor was faulty and we will repair in three days. I am still waiting for any positive response from the company.


                I would request you to please get the AC refund my money back as soon as possible, defaulting which force me to go to consumer court.

                  I bought a LG Washing Machine Model No: WT-7239PR through Lg dealer in kota on15/07/2010. My shop keeper told that with in 2 days dome person will come at your home.But till today they have not come for demo.Complain also registered on LG customer care toll free number [protected] on 19/07/2010 and complain ID was given is C-[protected],and assurance give to solve the problem with in 24 hrs.But no solution received upto 36 hrs.Again call made on LG customer care toll free number [protected] and same answer was recieved to wait for 24 hrs. But till now no response has received till date.Message received on 21/07/2010 that your complaint is closed and make new complain.Till now complain is on same level even not forwarded to next higher level. What should i do now?
                  I don't know what kind of customer service LG providing to the customer. If there is much delay in demo for the new machine , what will happen if machin gets faulty !!!!!!

                    Since last 10 days we are asking for a remote control of an AC from your local agency Delight serives but they say that its not in stock.. We informed them 10 days back and they said that it will come in 2 days pls come after 2 days. After 10 days we have called up and now they are saying call again after 7 days as still not come..

                    Kindly inform us if you will be able to provide this or not and also kindly talk to your delight services and clear this matter

                          I bought a new LG fridge model no. 1P=RP 185RP3.
                          Dealer sold me demaged LG fridge. afetr one month during cleaning the fridge it has been observed that
                          fridge' insite body was demaged . after that I have gone to the dealer to replace this fridge .

                            I had lodged a compalint with LG comstomer care on 14th Sept 2008 regarding the television not working, I had bought from Ezone - Bangalore - Rajaginagar. The LG costomer care says that they have forwarded the complaint to service center. But I did not any call form service center. I had called up service center also thrice. They say they will talk to one of their engineer. But I never got the call back.

                            TVS — NO RESPONSE FROM SERVICE CENTER

                            I AM (Mr. SUNIL KUMAR M) HAVING TVS - APACHI RTR SINCE NOVEMBER'07. I HAVE PURCHASED THIS BIKE (CHASIS NO: MD634 KE4772 L38933 AND ENGINE NO: OE4L[protected] AT WARANGAL, ANDHRA PRADESH. MY FIRST TWO SERVICINGS WITH THIS BIKE IS LIKE A HONEYMOON AND THEN TVS SERVICE CENTERS HAVE STARTED STRUGGLING ME. SHAKTI MOTORS, ESI SIGNALS, HYDERABAD, A VERY FAMOUS SERVICING CENTER FOR TVS BIKES, HAVE DAMAGED MY BIKE'S HANDLE AND LATER (TILL AFTER COMPLETING THE 5TH SERVICING THEY ARE SIMPLY TELLING THAT WE DON'T HAVE SPARE PARTS). THIS SERVICE CENTER IS NOT HAVING SUFFICIENT WELL TRAINED MECHANICS / STAFF. I HAVE ALSO COMPLAINED ABOUT MY BIKES SELF STARTER PROBLEM AND THEIR ANSWER IS SAME THAT THEY DON'T HAVE ANY SPARES.                               I purchased a LG window ac Model LWA 3EW1DF1 on 10/04/2009 form LG shoppe Noida sector 18, and within one season o[censored]se the gas of the ac leaked now i need to pay Rs 1800 for gas filling and handling charges
                              This clearly shows the inferior quality of LG product, the customer always feel cheated when he pays for the repair of a newly purchased product

                                  I have purchased Split LG AC 2662QHLSA
                                  on 18th june installed on 19th june2010,after 4-5 days of installation it stopped cooling plus water started pouring from the AC. Number of complaints were lodged through phone & e-mails, company sent, everytime different persons to check it everytime different excuses/faults were told, ultimately it was said that there is less gas in it so they refilled gas, for two days it worked and again cooling stopped instead ice started falling from it, when we started it.Now again it was told by LG that there is gas leakage. So we told them to either replace it or refund our money given to dealer EKO elctrovision Patiala and cheques also.Now despite of everyday complaints company and dealer are reluctant to solve the problem they are telling same piece is not available and money will be refunded after more than 15 days.
                                  Since I have suffered a lot and very purpose of buying the AC has back fired with none of my fault. It is too much harassment to me in this humid conditions.
                                  Therefore, I am complainting this in consumer forum and, company and dealer must pay back money as well compensation for harassment for more than 25 days to the consumer. I have all the record of the mails sent to the LG service stations and to dealer etc.

                                  LG Split AC — Faulty AC

                                  I have purchased LG 1 ton split AC Unit Model No.LSA3CG5VF1 from M/s Snehanjali Retail Pvt. Ltd. Murbad Road, Kalyan (W) on dated 9th October 2010.

                                  While installing the unit by opening the sealed pack by your representative Mr. Aashish, there was a water leakage from the indoor unit. On scrutiny by opening the unit by your representative to know the cause of leakage, it was found that in the drain tray inside the unit, one broken part of it is pasted with some solution.
                                  water tray agar warranty mai hai toh replaced kardo, nahi hai toh m-seal lagado aur half hours k baad ON kardo AC.

                                    Sub: - Regarding Not Providing Proper Service of Refrigerator.

                                    Dear Sir/Madam,

                                    I have Purchased a Frost Free Double Door Refrigerator Model no.-GL 258VT5 on 12/4/2010. I have selected this brand from many other available brands in the market only due to after sales service but now I am feeling that I have take wrong decision because for the same I am suffering from last 2 Months and still there is no response.
                                    My problem is that after purchasing the fridge approx. one month I have noticed that there is different kind of bad odor which is spread every where in the fridge part even all food are affected with that smell and the taste of that food is not good to eat. I think may be this smell is coming from some food material but after cleaning whole fridge I didn’t found no such food material storing in my fridge which can create like this bad odor. Than I call customer care executive to solve this complain. After some days one service engineer come to my home and attend my complain and told me this is only due to light problem. I was surprised that in my district where I am getting approx. 16-18 hours light and I think, if I have this problem it means all other person who are using this model fridge they all have facing the same thing in my city or in UP because the light situations is almost same except some city in U.P I think I have purchased a latest technology model which has GIDC and deodorizer like features which removes bad odors but with my model everything opposite. So what is the use of deodorizer, one more reply from your qualified company service engineer that use Lemon and other deodorizer available in the market. (This was Mr. Pradeep Saxena) Now I again called to customer care executive for the same problem they registered complain (on[protected] no. C[protected]) and told me one of our service engineer will attend you within 24 hours. I have waited for your service engineer one week but still none service engineer didn’t attend my call. When I again called to your customer care they told me one of our service engineer has attended you and complain was closed. Now again I was surprised that without attending call they closed complain, how smart lg service engineer? Overall they again given me a new complain no C[protected] on[protected]. After 2 -3 days one service engineer came to my house after listening my problem he guess may be drainage pipe is blocked so I just cleaned it. He ask me to give a wire to clean the pipe now again your smart service engineer has no tools for cleaning ok I just arrange a thin wire he inserted in the drainage pipe and try to clean it but their was no any such type of problem and may be this sharped thin wire can damage my fridge but he don’t care. I again advised him the bad smell is feeling like coming from deodorizer part but surprising he didn’t know about deodorizer and its function and where it is use in this fridge than I explain him by showing fridge catalog and its place than he just reply ok the problem is here because your fridge deodorizer is not working so the odor is coming ok I am taking it with me and I will changed it with new one within one week.(This is Mr. Pramod Kumar) Now it is 2 weeks past but no service engineer comes to change my deodorizer and also your customer care line is not working from last 3-4 days because continuously I am trying but no reply.
                                    So I am complaining the same problem from approx. 2 months but still my problem is not solved. This is lack of service of LG India Pvt. Ltd. So I have no another way to go except consumer forum.
                                    So please take this letter seriously and do the necessary action as soon as possible to solve my fridge problem other wise you will be responsible if any legal action will taken from me..

                                        I HAVE PURCHASE YOUR LG COLOUR TV 21" IN THE MONTH OF DECEMBER 2009 WITH 1+2 YEARS WARRANTY.

                                        DUE TO SOME TECH.PROBLEM THE TECHNICAL HAS TAKEN THE PCB FOR REPAIRING AND REPLACED WITH DUPLICATE ONE AFTER 3 WEEKS.

                                        I HAD CONTACTED THE SERVICE CENTER LOCATED AT NALLASOPARA AND LODGED A COMPLAINT ( NO.C-[protected] DT 20.06.2010) AND JOB NO.PFQC[protected] MR.AVDESH SAID THEY WILL RECTIFY THE PROBLEM ON 12TH JULY BUT NONTHING HAS BEEN DONE SO FAR.

                                        WITH DEEP REGRET I WOULD STATE HERE THAT THIS TYPE OF EXPERICE WAS NOT EXPECTED FROM A COMPANY LIKE LG AND I HAVE LOST MY TRUST WITH YOUR BRAND.

                                        I ANTICIPATE YOUR PROMPT ACTION FAILING WHICH I HAVE NO OTHER OPTION LEFT BUT TO REFER THE MATTER TO APPROPRIATE LEGAL DEPARTMENT FOR FURTHER ACTION
