Sir,

This is to inform you that we had purchased LG Convection Microwave Oven (Model No. 8080PRR Serial No. 912DRYM001818) from Navrang Audio Video (P) Ltd, D-10, Vikas Marg, Laxmi Nagar, Delhi 110 092 (Retail Invoice No. 14489 dated 15th January, 2010). A representative from LG Electronics visited our house for Demo of the Microwave Oven on 16th January, 2010 and after operating the unit he told us that the oven is working perfectly.

However, on the same day at evening when we operated the oven on micro cooking mode 540W power output and cooking time for just 1 ½ minutes, the multicook utensil lid provided with the Startup Kit melted. It was utter surprising for us that the utensil was of deteriorated quality that it could not even bear the heat inside and melted up which could be more damaging and could caused an accident if we had not stopped the oven immediately.

Sir, it is my request to you that an Engineer from your company should be sent to inspect the oven and the Starter Kit is changed so that we can start using the oven.

Complaint regarding Microwave

Sir, I have purchased a Micro wave ( Model MC8089) on 5th of April 10 from Faridabad. I called your service centre, and told them to give a demo probably on the coming saturday. Your service engineer came on saturday but he was not able to give the demo, as I was not having the knowledge of the product. Initially he was just doing some hit and trail and after that he said that the voltage is less, that's way the unit is malfunctioning. After that I again requested your service head at Faridabad and area manager to send some other person for Demo on the followinfg saturday, but till date (10/05/10), nobody has visited our premises to give the demo. So, I would like to request your higher authority to intervene in this matter and try to sort out immediately my previous complaint nos. are C[protected], P[protected]. Please call before sending any qualified engineer.

    I had 5 year old LG Flatron Gold TV. Its picture was coming distorted. I filed complaint with LG Customare care. The service engineer visited the TV and suggested that he would visit again with an IC which needs replacement. My first complaint was in 9 Jan'10 then on 23 Jan'10 and now today 5 Feb'10. Now service centre maintains that it can not be repaired. I am really surprised that within 6 years of its use one TV can become unrepairable. The no of my latest complanit is C[protected]

    I request LG highest authority to intervene.

    LG — repair of projection tv

    i hav bought a televisoin abt 28 months ,and it is not been working and its kept closed its 54 inh projection tv . we had done complain in in the show room amd they hav'ent taken any decision till now .

      My grandfather applied for education loans about 10000$ from SBI NAL BANGALORE. The loan officer told him to come at his residence. My grandfather went to his residence. At his residence ,he asked him some bribe to release the loan. My grandfather gave him bribe about 150$. Then he told my grandfather that you can take your loan at SBI NAL BANGALORE. When My grandfather checked his account ,the balance was only 165$.

        I have been following up for my lcd to repair but till now no response from lg corprate people has ome to me.i am pasting the following mails,which i have sent to mr. MB SHIN MD LG ELECTRONICS INDIA PVT. LTD.

        Dear Mr. Shin,

        I would like to bring to your attention to the ongoing problems I have been facing with the service team in regards to the LCD TV I owe.



        I had written to you earlier pertaining to the plight of my situation, to which the Service Manager had contacted me and visited my residence to discuss the issue. But unfortunately instead of resolving the problem with the set, I have been told that the LCD TV cannot be repaired and would be returned as in condition. The reasons being stated are completely ridiculous and unacceptable.



        In the month of November I was told to take up the AMC of the LCD TV. I duly did so as per the advice of the visiting service engineer. At the time of taking up the AMC I shared the purchase invoice of the product with the service engineer. The service engineer agreed to the condition and sold me the AMC for the product for 1 year without any reservations.



        Recently when the service engineer visited us post our complaint, he requested the purchase invoice to which I openly informed the service engineer that I do not have the purchase invoice of the product as the invoice had been misplaced.



        This was it. Suddenly, the service engineer found this to be a reason and told us that the product could not be repaired without the invoice. I questioned him as to what the invoice had to do with the servicing of the product? Its an LG product and not of any other brand that I am asking them to repair, so why would they not repair the product.



        But then I realized that ever since I have put up this complaint to you, my plight has become bad to worse. I have had to face numerous rude instances from the service team who stated that writing to you would not in anyways help in resolving the situation and that I have made a mistake in doing so. He also stated that his promotion was stalled because of my complaint. Now, the service team has come back to us, in writing saying that the system cannot be repaired. They are claiming that the LCD TV has been tampered and the AMC is not valid. How more outrageous can this be?



        How could your team take up the LCD TV’s AMC during November and revoke the same in January, especially when the TV has come in for repair. More infuriating is the face that they are stating the LCD TV has been tampered?? Who would tamper his own TV at home?? And if I would be intelligent enough to repair my TV, why would I pay for the AMC??? Why is the invoice being asked for now, and was never bothered at the time of selling the AMC to me?? Why was the TV not checked for tampering and why were we not informed so at the time of collecting the TV? Infact no one has ever told us so, until we filed the written complaint. Suddenly the TV has got tampered out of the blue for the only reason that they do not want to repair the TV.



        I am sick and tired of all your service engineers who are falsely implicating us to avoid repairing the LCD TV, all because I raised my voice about the miserable standard of services they have been providing. Why am I being made to suffer for buying an LG LCD TV from my hard earned money?



        I am only wanting my LCD TV to be repaired and returned as per the AMC policy and terms. I am not asking for a new TV in replacement or monetary compensation!



        I request you to please resolve this situation. I refuse to collect the LCD TV without it being repaired and made operational.



        I am attaching the communication that i have recieved from the LG service team for yoru reference.

        Dear Mr. Shin/Mr. Amitabh Tiwari,
        I would like to draw your attention to my service complaint pertaining to a LCD TV of your brand which I own.
        We have been experiencing a negative picture problem with the LG LCD TV which we purchased about a year ago.
        As per your required process, we had duly registered a service complaint on the 25th of December ’09 (No : C309C2506706). Post which a certain Service Representative by the name of Mr. Brijpal turned up at our premises for diagnosing and rectifying the problem.
        We were a bit surprised with the response of the Service Engineer who was visiting us, he immediately (on merely seeing the product) stated that the module panel of the LCD TV is defective and needs to be replaced. This was disbelieving to us as neither did he handle the product or make a diagnosis of the problem. He concluded that the LCD TV needed to be taken to the local service centre for repairing. We were curious enough to ask him as to how he could arrive at his conclusion to which he replied in a very offended manner, that he was a certified and experienced engineer to know the problem, and we should not be question him on his profession.
        He then informed us that the official service van would arrive at our residence the next day on 26th of Dec, to have our LCD TV collected and concurrently provide us with a stand-by product for the service period. Obviously as expected of LG’s standards, no one turned up as scheduled or informed us of any change in itinerary. We received a surprise call from a gentleman named Shamshad on the 29th of Dec, who said that he had come from LG and was waiting at our door for collecting the LCD TV. We informed him that we were not available in the city, and it would have been better had they informed us earlier of his grand arrival. Anyways, the LCD TV was finally collected the next day on the 30th of Dec. And thank you, for the Stand-by LCD provided to us, we have never seen any worse condition of an LCD TV, seemed like it belonged to the stone-age. Old, broken and rickety. (I hope LG isn’t in a similar condition)
        But as unassuming consumers, we resigned to fate on the quality standards of your service team, with the only request that our LCD TV be repaired and returned to us at the earliest. We were spontaneously told that the LCD TV would be repaired and returned the next day itself.
        The day next we received the most harrowing call of our life from LG. A gentleman named Mr. Amit Wasan phoned us to inform that this particular model of the LCD TV is apparently an imported version from the company and that they cannot service or rectify the product of its problem. They suggested that we should come over and have the LCD TV collected from the service centre and absolutely nothing could be done about it. (Ohh and they were kind enough to suggest us that we should go and buy a new one, when we asked what we should be doing now).
        Wow. This is the most preposterous experience I have had with any brand in my life. I always thought government agencies were the worst.
        How ridiculous is this? I buy your product and you refuse to service it a year later???? On what grounds??? That it’s an imported version and you don’t have the spares!!!!!! Would you want me to seriously dump the LCD TV into the garbage bin and buy another LG LCD TV…… again?????? Or would you be shameful enough to get your act together and resolve my problem immediately.

        Dear Team,
        I am Manivannan. I have purchased a 29 Inch L.G color television on 17/05/2009
        (Model-No: 29FG2RGE-TG and serial-No: 807NLVE034311) in Gowtham Electronic at chennimalai (Near Erode) and I have extended my warranty Period for next one Year by paying additional amount.
        Unfortunately, Television got a problem on 12/04/2010 and I have registered a complaint on the same date through Customer care call center. In Customer Care they have given the service request number: C[protected].

        L.G Service executive checked the T.V and identified the Problem with the Picture tube, and he told as to bring the T.V to Erode L.G service center, then we took the T.V to your L.G service center on 12/05/2010, which is in Erode.

        Then they returned T.V on[protected] by saying that the problem is resolved.

        After One week, same problem occurs again in Picture tube and again I called in same customer care call center and registered the new complaint for the same. Pain full to say this; I have not received any proper response from your service team.

        I had a very good opinion on L.G product and service, which made me to buy the entire home appliance with L.G, I have already 15 products of yours, and I never expected that your service would be this much worst.

        I am totally disappointed with the service, in spite of this I took the T.V from Chennimalai to Erode (L.G. Service Center) for three times by spending more than
        Rs. 3, 000.00 for carrying the T.V in a rental car, still my problem is not resolved still my T.V is in L.G. Service center (Erode) only.

        Kindly do the need full.

          We bought LG Side by Side fridge costing 75K in Feb 2008 which started giving trouble before end of warranty period. Broke down thereafter frequently and now totally out of order past two months. The local service office, Central complaint at Ho at Gurgaon and email and letter to MD has not yielded any result. Can any one suggest how to deal with this rogoue Company?

          What ever has been written above is very much true. In my opinion the slogan should be Life is hail instead of Life is good. I am also experiencing the similar or even worst. I have purchased fridge Model GL 281in the month of March 2010 and since then I am facing problem of water leakage outside the body and even inside when being defrost. So many complaints have been made. Technician came and observed the problem and confirmed about the manufacturing defect but after that there is no responce. The so called dealer JYOTI ELECTRONICS, shop No. 23, 24, 25, Shrey Palace, Santoshi Mata Mandir Road, Rambaug, Kalyan (W) 421301, is not giving attention to this complaint. I am fadeup with this product and suggest all not to go for any LG product.

            from last six months i am calling customer care department and now the people over there put me on hold after hearing my details and never call back. The vegetable tray of my fridge was broken and they are not giving me another one as they say that we do not provide any parts if the product is five years old. Now first thing is my fridge is not five years old and second thing is do we have to purchase new product every five years even if it is very costly. We cannot change all the products every five years.

            I A subramanian residence of 8, Dayanand, Gopal Nagar, Rd.No.1, Dombivili East have earlier complained about the problem in Refrigirator sold to me by Sonal Electronics, Dombivili near Station on June 5th, 2011. We have been receiving only calls asking for the problem and giving solutions only over phone. Some of your person approached and took xerox coipes of Bill & ID Proofs etc., two weeks back. He also gave an assurance that we will either get new peace or the refund in 5 days. Now even after 2 weeks passed, no response from your side. I want to put it on record that i will be forced to go to consumer cort if i do not get response in 2 days time from now.

              I have recently purchased LG GB210 handset. This is the only phone i have ever seen in my life with the below mentioned problem.
              PROBLEM: When you type a new message(SMS), there is no function to go to a new line. i mean there is no "enter" key/function. There is spacebar and everything else but no "enter" key! Help me!

                Dear Sir,
                I have Purchased 3 items form LG India. The details are as follows.

                1)Refrigerator – Model No. – GL258VA4 / 2009, Unit Sl. No. – 930D4620-FA-40215, Date of Purchase 29.03.2009

                2)Micro-Oven – Model No. - MC8047ARH, Serial No. 80ABGL000543 , Date of Purchase 25.11.2008

                3)Television – Model No. – 21FU6RG-T8, Serial No. 809NLDA0004602 , Date of Purchase 13.11.2008

                In refrigerator On Dec.’2008 the compressor gas has been drain out automatically. Your customer care representative had visited & attained the complain with my reference complain no. – N9C50108604 dated 01.May.2009. With in a purchased period of 1 months the item got damaged.

                In Micro oven, I have purchased the item on dtd.25.11.2008 same day the oven was not functioning the delar was good so, he had replaced & given a new one. Again on 5thSep.’2009 the oven front glass cover was open automatically. Your customer care representative had visited & attained the complain with my reference complain no. – N9C90600432. With in a purchased period of 9 months the item got damaged.

                In Television, I have purchased the item on dtd.13.11.2008 On 18thJan.’2010 the television pictures were showing double. Your customer care representative had visited & attained the complain (in chargeable basis) with my reference complain no. – C[protected]. With in a purchased period of 14 months the item got damaged.

                  The White Plastic Base of the Vegetable tray in the Double Door Refrigerator is damaged & has Cracked Badly. Also the Gasget bordering the Door is in damaged condition,due to which the is lower cooling than what should be there. There has been 4-5 complaints to LG customer care but there has been no response in this regard. Their People just visit,report the complaint & then nothing happens. Their people have also taken the photographs of the damages mentioned above.
                  Kindly Help in settling the matter as soon as possible.

                    I brougth lg 6600 new handset by reliance dealer after one week charger unit failed and after 2 week handset making verious problems and after one month said handset going out of order. this LG RD 6600 model is totally failed model and officer of reliance mobile are know that very well , however they are not giving answer me and my handset is deposited since 7 months but no body solve my compline

                      The above refered LG mobile TV tuner 3G phone SR. [protected] was purchased vide invoice 3382, dated 18/4/2009 , Customer bill no SBI /0910/1139, other reference SBI , Buyers Order no[protected] , Order dated 18/3/2009 The said mobile phone'sTV & internet servioces are not working. I had already talk to your representatives & requested them to reverse pickup my phone & refund the amount back to my credit card. After that the phone was reverse picked up by your courier company.

                        As i had submitted a compain agsainst the repairing of washing machine in Gaya branch (Bihar) about one month ago, till now no action has been taken and they are procrastinating without any reson, so kindly steps should be taken as soon as it is possible otherwise i have to take further action.

                        I have complained my washing machine on 03.12.2010, vide customer complaint no:[protected], for lot of complaint no is[protected],[protected],[protected].

                        Your service centre m/s Shreeji Engineering, Mr. Amit bhai Mobile No: [protected], he attended my washing machine after 13 days, i have called more than 200 calls I spent more than Rs.700/- only for phone call.

                        M/s Shreeji Engineering, Mr. Amit Bhai not at all lifing phone nor attending my washing machine, from 03.12.10 till date repair condition, .

                        This attitude goes LG product life is very short, customer also denying to purchase LG products, after 2 years ie after warranty period washing machine should not work ie for after 2 years disposal of LG products, it means.

                        Kindly send your service centre as early as possible, .

                        LG — Bad response of LG service center

                        Dear Sir/Madam ,

                        I am struggling for past 3 days to get my LG split AC repaired . I regeistered compaint # RNA[protected] and my ac is covered under LG AMC . I am not getting response from local service center and their technicians . Their technicians have visited twice and gone back without doing repair . I think they are behaving like this because I have an AMC and they have no chance to do inflated billings .I wonder if this is the level of service LG claims about .

                        I need help to get my problem resolved .

                          My family is one of the oldest customers of LG products,all electronic products in our house are of LG.
                          But the response of the customer care service in dehradun UA has left me disappointed
                          I am having a LG washing machine MODEL NO COFF6517TE which is covered by AMC
                          On18 jan10 a complaint was made regarding non functioning of washing machine complain no
                          C-[protected]was given, after lot of persuasion a rep come,after checking the washing machine
                          he told us that PULSE ROTATOR & SMG GEAR are not working and needs replacement, he assured
                          that next day he will come and replace the same.After waiting for few days,we contacted the customer
                          care service,Dehradun on23&25 jan10 who very reluctantly gave another complant no-[protected] and told us that not
                          to bother them,as and when the parts are available they will be replaced . Till date no communication has
                          been made by customer care service,Dehradun.



                          The above episode has left a bitter experience. May i request you to look into the matter at the earliest.Iam sure
                          a company of your reputation will resolve the issue.

                            Dear Sir,
                            I had bought a LG 29" LCD TV in Aug2009. The TV recently started giving a vertical lines and no picture. I have logged a compliant at their service center who are non-responsive. The technician visited once and confirmed that the LCD panel needs replacement, but did not comment on any date of fixing the problem. Its been more than a more than a month and still no action is being taken. Since the TV is within the warranty period I have requested for replacement which has fell on deaf ears.
                            Kindly advice.

                              I HAVE PURCHASED A 22" LCD TV ON 12 DECEMBER 2009 FROM YOUR DEALER GUPTA ELECTRONICS, SUTEHRI ROAD, HOSHIARPUR, PUNJAB. LATER ON AS CLAIMED BY THE OWNER RAJESH GUPTA, IT DIDNT CONNECTED WITH MY PC. I LODGED A COMPLAINT WITH YOUR CALL CENTRE. YOUR TECHNICIANS VISITED ME AND I WAS SURPRISED TO HEAR FROM THEM THAT IT WAS NOT LG's ORIGINAL PRODUCT. AND WHEN I CHECKED FROM YOUR WEBSITE EVEN, I WAS SURPRISED TO SEE THAT THERE WAS NO SUCH LG's AUTHORISED DEALER IN OUR CITY NAMING GUPTA ELECTRONICS. LATER ON ONE OF MY COLLEGUE ALSO TOLD ME THAT HE HAS ALSO BOUGHT MOBILE FONE FROM GUPTA ELECT, WHICH LATER ON FOUND TO BE DUPLICATE TOO.

                                  I have bought a microwave machine in FEB 2008 and has been giving problems like transformer issues, switching off immediately and not getting warmed up. . I had lodged a complaint as recently as on 17/1/2010 (C[protected]). LG service agent visits and informs thre is no issue every time. Once after constant nagging, he was forced by us to replace a transformer.

                                      I am hoping this will do something about the problem i have been experiencing since the 5th of Dec'09. I have a LG tromm front loading washing machine which has been giving me trouble, and i had to literally call you guys 25 times before it was picked up for repair end of Dec'09.
                                      Now that the machine is ready , the service centre guys tell me that they do not have the vehicle to deliver the machine and everyday is a a false promise!. I have been made to apply for leave at least 5 times waiting for the machine but to no avail.
                                      What is worse is that the service center guys are absolutely insensitive, they tell me that it is not their problem, if the vehicle is not available.

                                      After paying 20 grand, i get treated worse than a dog. If my machine gets broken again, i will dispose it rather than having to go through this hell again. Looking at my plight, my friends and family have vouched never to buy a LG product again. The amount you spend on your ads, I'd suggest you spend some on your customer service.

                                      You have hired a bunch of insensitive hooligans who treat customers like dirt ! I have no hopes that i will get my washing machine, even today. I am writing this not so that my problem gets sorted, but just so that people do not buy LG products ever again!!!.

                                      LG TROMM Washing Machine — Issue not resolved even after multiple visit of technician

                                      Hello,

                                      I, Mayur Khatri, residing in Kalyan (Dist. Thane, State: Maharashtra), have purchased the LG TROMM washing machine last week (Thursday). But when we start the machine, the machine moves from one place to another during spin time.

                                      I have launched the complaint everyday thru call center, technician visit and go away without resolving the problem since last 4 days. I am sick of the service, even nobody is picking the call in LG Service center (Noida, Head Office).

                                      Do let me know the way forward else I have to take strict action in case my problem doesn't get resolved and I mean it.

                                      Request you to take the action on priority.

                                        my lg mobile gm200 does not work properly.it does not read the images from memory card.does not show the snap captured by the camera and the file received from bluetooth can work only one time and then not work
