Dear Sir/Madam,

We purchased the LG Frige on 3rd June 2009 from Mandar Electronics Virar (West). We had received a Lg frige which had damaged Door. After several complaints made to Mandar Electronics we received a Answer that this is a Manufacturing defect. Two Months later after several reminders they changed our LG Frige Door but still there are problems with it. The LG Frige Door makes lot of noise while opening & closing there is one more problem that has aried after the replacement of the door. The LG Frige door higes are loose hence the door is not fitted properly.

The complaints enrolled at LG Customer care are mentioned below ;-

2) C09C1720359 - dated 17th Dec 2009
3) C09C1414472 - dated 14th Dec 2009
4) C09C1302478 - dated 13th Dec 2009
5) C[protected] - dated 4th Feb 2010

Very time the technician comes & nothing happens. We also had telecom with Mr. Joshi of LG Electronics but the answer we received was that the it is not Manufacturing defect but the Lg Frige was not handled properly in transit. Hence we request you to please look into the matter.

    I am sending Emails and making phone calls since last Nov 2009. One of their service technician came to my house and made some adjustment in the oven. He collected Rs.275-00 and left. From the next day onwards it is not working. This has informed the company by mail. After few days another company representative came to me and promised to contact after two days. No response after that. This has also been reported to the company. Now everybody is silent in spite of my repeated mails. When I contacted their Branch Service Manager at Cochin he promised to do the service immediately.

    Lg Microwave — LG microwave not working

    I have a complaint no S8C32801282, which is pending since March. Funniest thing is since these day when i call up customer care[protected] i get different updates. Once they say that the engineer is on the way and sometimes they say that the part is not available. I really don't understand what kind of after sales support is being provided my LG.I think serious action should be taken against LG for harassing the customers.
    Such pathetic customer care i have never seen till now. Worst service

        We have purchased LG Washing Machine - Front Loading, F1056LDP - TROMM on 08 Feb 2010. We used it first time on 09 Feb 2010 and it became faulty after the very first wash. Engineer has check & reported that PCB needs to be replaced.
        We have contacted Local Service Center Head - Mr Sanjeev Haridas. He says that PCB is not in stock and will take time to arrive. I am writing this complaint within just 2 days of buying a machine of cost close INR 27000.00 from LG who have delivered a very poor quality product. If they believe in being ethical and customer oriented, the machine should be replaced immediately.

          Dear Sir,
          I bought a LG OEM IDE Blk DVD Writer Rs. 1225/- dated 29/01/10 from Computer Empire, 102, Mehgdoot Building, Nehru Place,
          New Delhi-19, Ph.: 41808488, 26414645, Fax: 41617626
          after installing I find that this product faulty piece then I complaint LG Service Center dated 02/02/10 its ph. no. [protected] where attend my complaint and give to me this complaint No. C[protected] and said our engineer contact you and solve your problem after one day I call again service center because no response their and I remind again the service center to our problem after remind there engineer calling me evening and said to come this product our service center 101, challenger computer, 55 nehru place to check and solve this problem. I go to service center dated 4/2/10 and to show this faulty piece but where electricity problem then he said me without electricity we cant check this product then he put this product and give me to there JOB SHEET No. 6263 and say me calling next day. After this procedure i come back and calling next day dated 5/2/10 service center to recover our product but receptionist say the product is go to replace LG Company you calling after two days then I call again after two days dated 7/1/10 but answer the same. Then I call again dated 10/02/10 to the service but answer for the same, I am very absurd now because I bought this product but product is faulty what I do because I suffer daily to this delay day by day. I dont want to this product and I want back to my money is this possible or not and take legal action to against the LG Company. Please Solve My Complaint I am very oblige you. Please do something!

            Sir/Madam,

            I lost my mobile on 1st Feb 2010. I went to the police station to file a theft complaint but they filed a report of lost of mobile instead of theft of mobile. Due to this, I am not able to claim the insurance amount.
            As my mobile have a ATMT (anti theft mobile tracking) facility I got the mobile number of the person who changed the SIM and that is [protected]. Somehow, I got the address of this mobile number which is G-73, Jagjit Nagar (2-3 km distance from Silam Pur Matro Station), Delhi.
            When I went back to the police with the detail they asked me to give an application against the mobile number user and they asked me to inquire about it after 2-3 days. Since then, I am regularly contacting them to get the information about my mobile but they do not do anything. They just says that It is a very big procedure and it will take a long time, the location is too far and we can not go their easily.

            I am still waiting for thair response.

[ GSM ].[DELHI]..okay...you given complaint na...take it a COMPLAINT in zerox and go to Reliance. [ GSM ] service (call center ) ...just submit wat do u want...then he gives full details for ur mobile...he only trace for your mobile friend...im sure ..this will help you ...nani
            Register FIR in police station. FIR should clearly indicate your phone's IMEI no. and bill.

            Give the copy of FIR to major service providers like Idea, Airtel, BSNL, Reliance etc. and ask them to provide phone no. of the person using the stolen phone.(They can tell who's using by IMEI no.)

            Once you got the phone no. of sim which is currently in your stolen phone, then you know what you have to do further.

            lg cell phone kp500 — cell phone service is very bad

            Sir,
            I bought LG KP500 cellphone bearing No.905IPBY269861 on[protected]. When ever the phone gives problem I used to approach GS system,which is situated in Nandanam, Chennai. I had very better experience with them. Particularly on[protected]Complaint No.R[protected] I approached them with a complaint that cellphone displace goes to dead very often however the cellphone was active. They diagnosed the cellphone and told me that no problem with the set and the problem was due to battery and stock of battery was not available at the time and advised me to approach them after a week. As I continued to face the problem even though the sufficient batter back up was available, i approached them again on 23-8-10. They diagnosed the set again and told me that they have rectified the same and the cellphone will be alright. Though I approached them within the time limit of three months warrenty available for the service, they have collected Rs.276/- from me. Unfortunately, again i faced the same problem and again I went to the same service centre. This time they told me that some problem with the mother board and said that it needs to be replaced. As I did not have faith on their quality of service, I have taken back the cellphone. Now my cellphone is totally dead. Particularly before handing over the same to them the cellphone used to work without display. Now cellphone is totally dead. I strongly apprehend against the service centre for not rendering proper service and collecting money without doing required service. Immediate action against the service center is required and my problem should be rectified.

              Brand New fridge of LG Electronics bought from M/s.S.C.Shah & CO P Ltd,Annanagar,Chennai on 22.12.2009 Model GL 405 YMQG4 has stopped functioning in full from to day afternoon. ONLY THE Freezer portion gets cool and the tray below the freezer portion is warm.
              The above problem has already occurred on 22.01.2010 and complaint registered vide complaint number C[protected]. The probelm was attended by technician Mr.Samraj after complaining twice.He managed to clean the pipe carrying ice and confirmed that a switch needs to be changed.

              After paying Rs27200/= for the fridge , I am shocked to hear that a switch needs to be replaced.
              I have a stong feeling that the fridge supplied to me is inferior and hence I am requesting you to direct the manufacturer who is responsible for giving me a bad quality product.

                today evening while I was watching TV (LG Slim magic 29 inch TV), suddenly both picture and audio was off (blank) and some flickering noise started coming..

                I have complained to LG Customer care and they told they will get back with in 24hrs..should see if they keep their words..

                Did anyone have this issue ..what was the cause?

                I am having 29Inches LG TV, past was having minor problem, and i have called LG service person for getting it repaired, After the arrival of engineer, entire Tv has become black, andtotally dead, for Past 10 days I am following with Service center, but efforts are in vain,

                And this my 3rd complaint iam lodgeing in web Site, then also no Respose,

                Pl guide whom to contact or i ahve scarb the TV.

                In my life, this is the first time i am getting an worst service from so called leader in Electronics,
                And i am advicing all my coleuges and friends, never ever go for LG television, in life.
                If we buy LG TV, i think we have approch god than calling LG service person's.

                  Dear Sir,

                  I have shifted my House materials from Thane to Ahmedabad on 6th February 2010 at 2:30 pm.
                  Your Packing boys (Mr.Sumit & other one)came and packed the material in cartoon. I have marked the things which are in the particular box. In box no.8 i have packed Sweater, folding table, Water Jug and DVD Player. But unfortunately i have not mentioned DVD player in packing list.

                  When my materials reached to Ahmedabad surprinsigly DVD player ( LG) was missing from the Box no.8.
                  Immediately I have informed Mr.Sanjay , Mr.Baljit Singh & Mr.Sumit regarding this matter on telephone.
                  I have also asked the delivery boy and driver who came at my ahmedabad house for delivery but they told me to not know about the thing.

                  So please look into this matter and do needfull to recover DVD player as early as possible.

                    I have purchased LG KM501 mobile in Oct' 2009. From the next day I am facing lots of problem.
                    - Speed is die hard low.
                    - Not able to get SMS properly, even I have lots of free memory but still whenever I got a new message, I have to delete 2-3 previous SMS and then only able to get new one.
                    - Media Player is also not supporting well.
                    - And most of all, IT HANG 5 TIMES A DAY AND i NEED TO START IT AGAIN AND IT TOOK COMPLETE 20 MINUTES.

                    I have complained before also and they did the Software updation and said that it will work fine. But all the problems are in more worst condition now.
                    Later when I complained again they just call me and said that they will get back to me but till this date I did not get any call. This is SAD.

                    Is this the service and product you are giving to your costomer.

                    Now I do not want to continue with this LG product.

                      Sir,

                      This is to inform you that we had purchased LG Convection Microwave Oven (Model No. 8080PRR Serial No. 912DRYM001818) from Navrang Audio Video (P) Ltd, D-10, Vikas Marg, Laxmi Nagar, Delhi 110 092 (Retail Invoice No. 14489 dated 15th January, 2010). A representative from LG Electronics visited our house for Demo of the Microwave Oven on 16th January, 2010 and after operating the unit he told us that the oven is working perfectly.

                      However, on the same day at evening when we operated the oven on micro cooking mode 540W power output and cooking time for just 1 ½ minutes, the multicook utensil lid provided with the Startup Kit melted. It was utter surprising for us that the utensil was of deteriorated quality that it could not even bear the heat inside and melted up which could be more damaging and could caused an accident if we had not stopped the oven immediately.

                      Sir, it is my request to you that an Engineer from your company should be sent to inspect the oven and the Starter Kit is changed so that we can start using the oven.

                      Sir, I have purchased a Micro wave ( Model MC8089) on 5th of April 10 from Faridabad. I called your service centre, and told them to give a demo probably on the coming saturday. Your service engineer came on saturday but he was not able to give the demo, as I was not having the knowledge of the product. Initially he was just doing some hit and trail and after that he said that the voltage is less, that's way the unit is malfunctioning. After that I again requested your service head at Faridabad and area manager to send some other person for Demo on the followinfg saturday, but till date (10/05/10), nobody has visited our premises to give the demo. So, I would like to request your higher authority to intervene in this matter and try to sort out immediately my previous complaint nos. are C[protected], P[protected]. Please call before sending any qualified engineer.

                        I had 5 year old LG Flatron Gold TV. Its picture was coming distorted. I filed complaint with LG Customare care. The service engineer visited the TV and suggested that he would visit again with an IC which needs replacement. My first complaint was in 9 Jan'10 then on 23 Jan'10 and now today 5 Feb'10. Now service centre maintains that it can not be repaired. I am really surprised that within 6 years of its use one TV can become unrepairable. The no of my latest complanit is C[protected]

                        I request LG highest authority to intervene.

                        i hav bought a televisoin abt 28 months ,and it is not been working and its kept closed its 54 inh projection tv . we had done complain in in the show room amd they hav'ent taken any decision till now .

                          My grandfather applied for education loans about 10000$ from SBI NAL BANGALORE. The loan officer told him to come at his residence. My grandfather went to his residence. At his residence ,he asked him some bribe to release the loan. My grandfather gave him bribe about 150$. Then he told my grandfather that you can take your loan at SBI NAL BANGALORE. When My grandfather checked his account ,the balance was only 165$.

                            I have been following up for my lcd to repair but till now no response from lg corprate people has ome to me.i am pasting the following mails,which i have sent to mr. MB SHIN MD LG ELECTRONICS INDIA PVT. LTD.

                            Dear Mr. Shin,

                            I would like to bring to your attention to the ongoing problems I have been facing with the service team in regards to the LCD TV I owe.



                            I had written to you earlier pertaining to the plight of my situation, to which the Service Manager had contacted me and visited my residence to discuss the issue. But unfortunately instead of resolving the problem with the set, I have been told that the LCD TV cannot be repaired and would be returned as in condition. The reasons being stated are completely ridiculous and unacceptable.



                            In the month of November I was told to take up the AMC of the LCD TV. I duly did so as per the advice of the visiting service engineer. At the time of taking up the AMC I shared the purchase invoice of the product with the service engineer. The service engineer agreed to the condition and sold me the AMC for the product for 1 year without any reservations.



                            Recently when the service engineer visited us post our complaint, he requested the purchase invoice to which I openly informed the service engineer that I do not have the purchase invoice of the product as the invoice had been misplaced.



                            This was it. Suddenly, the service engineer found this to be a reason and told us that the product could not be repaired without the invoice. I questioned him as to what the invoice had to do with the servicing of the product? Its an LG product and not of any other brand that I am asking them to repair, so why would they not repair the product.



                            But then I realized that ever since I have put up this complaint to you, my plight has become bad to worse. I have had to face numerous rude instances from the service team who stated that writing to you would not in anyways help in resolving the situation and that I have made a mistake in doing so. He also stated that his promotion was stalled because of my complaint. Now, the service team has come back to us, in writing saying that the system cannot be repaired. They are claiming that the LCD TV has been tampered and the AMC is not valid. How more outrageous can this be?



                            How could your team take up the LCD TV’s AMC during November and revoke the same in January, especially when the TV has come in for repair. More infuriating is the face that they are stating the LCD TV has been tampered?? Who would tamper his own TV at home?? And if I would be intelligent enough to repair my TV, why would I pay for the AMC??? Why is the invoice being asked for now, and was never bothered at the time of selling the AMC to me?? Why was the TV not checked for tampering and why were we not informed so at the time of collecting the TV? Infact no one has ever told us so, until we filed the written complaint. Suddenly the TV has got tampered out of the blue for the only reason that they do not want to repair the TV.



                            I am sick and tired of all your service engineers who are falsely implicating us to avoid repairing the LCD TV, all because I raised my voice about the miserable standard of services they have been providing. Why am I being made to suffer for buying an LG LCD TV from my hard earned money?



                            I am only wanting my LCD TV to be repaired and returned as per the AMC policy and terms. I am not asking for a new TV in replacement or monetary compensation!



                            I request you to please resolve this situation. I refuse to collect the LCD TV without it being repaired and made operational.



                            I am attaching the communication that i have recieved from the LG service team for yoru reference.

                            Dear Mr. Shin/Mr. Amitabh Tiwari,
                            I would like to draw your attention to my service complaint pertaining to a LCD TV of your brand which I own.
                            We have been experiencing a negative picture problem with the LG LCD TV which we purchased about a year ago.
                            As per your required process, we had duly registered a service complaint on the 25th of December ’09 (No : C309C2506706). Post which a certain Service Representative by the name of Mr. Brijpal turned up at our premises for diagnosing and rectifying the problem.
                            We were a bit surprised with the response of the Service Engineer who was visiting us, he immediately (on merely seeing the product) stated that the module panel of the LCD TV is defective and needs to be replaced. This was disbelieving to us as neither did he handle the product or make a diagnosis of the problem. He concluded that the LCD TV needed to be taken to the local service centre for repairing. We were curious enough to ask him as to how he could arrive at his conclusion to which he replied in a very offended manner, that he was a certified and experienced engineer to know the problem, and we should not be question him on his profession.
                            He then informed us that the official service van would arrive at our residence the next day on 26th of Dec, to have our LCD TV collected and concurrently provide us with a stand-by product for the service period. Obviously as expected of LG’s standards, no one turned up as scheduled or informed us of any change in itinerary. We received a surprise call from a gentleman named Shamshad on the 29th of Dec, who said that he had come from LG and was waiting at our door for collecting the LCD TV. We informed him that we were not available in the city, and it would have been better had they informed us earlier of his grand arrival. Anyways, the LCD TV was finally collected the next day on the 30th of Dec. And thank you, for the Stand-by LCD provided to us, we have never seen any worse condition of an LCD TV, seemed like it belonged to the stone-age. Old, broken and rickety. (I hope LG isn’t in a similar condition)
                            But as unassuming consumers, we resigned to fate on the quality standards of your service team, with the only request that our LCD TV be repaired and returned to us at the earliest. We were spontaneously told that the LCD TV would be repaired and returned the next day itself.
                            The day next we received the most harrowing call of our life from LG. A gentleman named Mr. Amit Wasan phoned us to inform that this particular model of the LCD TV is apparently an imported version from the company and that they cannot service or rectify the product of its problem. They suggested that we should come over and have the LCD TV collected from the service centre and absolutely nothing could be done about it. (Ohh and they were kind enough to suggest us that we should go and buy a new one, when we asked what we should be doing now).
                            Wow. This is the most preposterous experience I have had with any brand in my life. I always thought government agencies were the worst.
                            How ridiculous is this? I buy your product and you refuse to service it a year later???? On what grounds??? That it’s an imported version and you don’t have the spares!!!!!! Would you want me to seriously dump the LCD TV into the garbage bin and buy another LG LCD TV…… again?????? Or would you be shameful enough to get your act together and resolve my problem immediately.

                            Dear Team,
                            I am Manivannan. I have purchased a 29 Inch L.G color television on 17/05/2009
                            (Model-No: 29FG2RGE-TG and serial-No: 807NLVE034311) in Gowtham Electronic at chennimalai (Near Erode) and I have extended my warranty Period for next one Year by paying additional amount.
                            Unfortunately, Television got a problem on 12/04/2010 and I have registered a complaint on the same date through Customer care call center. In Customer Care they have given the service request number: C[protected].

                            L.G Service executive checked the T.V and identified the Problem with the Picture tube, and he told as to bring the T.V to Erode L.G service center, then we took the T.V to your L.G service center on 12/05/2010, which is in Erode.

                            Then they returned T.V on[protected] by saying that the problem is resolved.

                            After One week, same problem occurs again in Picture tube and again I called in same customer care call center and registered the new complaint for the same. Pain full to say this; I have not received any proper response from your service team.

                            I had a very good opinion on L.G product and service, which made me to buy the entire home appliance with L.G, I have already 15 products of yours, and I never expected that your service would be this much worst.

                            I am totally disappointed with the service, in spite of this I took the T.V from Chennimalai to Erode (L.G. Service Center) for three times by spending more than
                            Rs. 3, 000.00 for carrying the T.V in a rental car, still my problem is not resolved still my T.V is in L.G. Service center (Erode) only.

                            Kindly do the need full.

                              We bought LG Side by Side fridge costing 75K in Feb 2008 which started giving trouble before end of warranty period. Broke down thereafter frequently and now totally out of order past two months. The local service office, Central complaint at Ho at Gurgaon and email and letter to MD has not yielded any result. Can any one suggest how to deal with this rogoue Company?

                              What ever has been written above is very much true. In my opinion the slogan should be Life is hail instead of Life is good. I am also experiencing the similar or even worst. I have purchased fridge Model GL 281in the month of March 2010 and since then I am facing problem of water leakage outside the body and even inside when being defrost. So many complaints have been made. Technician came and observed the problem and confirmed about the manufacturing defect but after that there is no responce. The so called dealer JYOTI ELECTRONICS, shop No. 23, 24, 25, Shrey Palace, Santoshi Mata Mandir Road, Rambaug, Kalyan (W) 421301, is not giving attention to this complaint. I am fadeup with this product and suggest all not to go for any LG product.

                                from last six months i am calling customer care department and now the people over there put me on hold after hearing my details and never call back. The vegetable tray of my fridge was broken and they are not giving me another one as they say that we do not provide any parts if the product is five years old. Now first thing is my fridge is not five years old and second thing is do we have to purchase new product every five years even if it is very costly. We cannot change all the products every five years.

                                I A subramanian residence of 8, Dayanand, Gopal Nagar, Rd.No.1, Dombivili East have earlier complained about the problem in Refrigirator sold to me by Sonal Electronics, Dombivili near Station on June 5th, 2011. We have been receiving only calls asking for the problem and giving solutions only over phone. Some of your person approached and took xerox coipes of Bill & ID Proofs etc., two weeks back. He also gave an assurance that we will either get new peace or the refund in 5 days. Now even after 2 weeks passed, no response from your side. I want to put it on record that i will be forced to go to consumer cort if i do not get response in 2 days time from now.

                                  I have recently purchased LG GB210 handset. This is the only phone i have ever seen in my life with the below mentioned problem.
                                  PROBLEM: When you type a new message(SMS), there is no function to go to a new line. i mean there is no "enter" key/function. There is spacebar and everything else but no "enter" key! Help me!

                                    I have Purchased 3 items form LG India. The details are as follows.

                                    1)Refrigerator – Model No. – GL258VA4 / 2009, Unit Sl. No. – 930D4620-FA-40215, Date of Purchase 29.03.2009

                                    2)Micro-Oven – Model No. - MC8047ARH, Serial No. 80ABGL000543 , Date of Purchase 25.11.2008

                                    3)Television – Model No. – 21FU6RG-T8, Serial No. 809NLDA0004602 , Date of Purchase 13.11.2008

                                    In refrigerator On Dec.’2008 the compressor gas has been drain out automatically. Your customer care representative had visited & attained the complain with my reference complain no. – N9C50108604 dated 01.May.2009. With in a purchased period of 1 months the item got damaged.

                                    In Micro oven, I have purchased the item on dtd.25.11.2008 same day the oven was not functioning the delar was good so, he had replaced & given a new one. Again on 5thSep.’2009 the oven front glass cover was open automatically. Your customer care representative had visited & attained the complain with my reference complain no. – N9C90600432. With in a purchased period of 9 months the item got damaged.

                                    In Television, I have purchased the item on dtd.13.11.2008 On 18thJan.’2010 the television pictures were showing double. Your customer care representative had visited & attained the complain (in chargeable basis) with my reference complain no. – C[protected]. With in a purchased period of 14 months the item got damaged.

                                      The White Plastic Base of the Vegetable tray in the Double Door Refrigerator is damaged & has Cracked Badly. Also the Gasget bordering the Door is in damaged condition,due to which the is lower cooling than what should be there. There has been 4-5 complaints to LG customer care but there has been no response in this regard. Their People just visit,report the complaint & then nothing happens. Their people have also taken the photographs of the damages mentioned above.
                                      Kindly Help in settling the matter as soon as possible.
