Dear Sir/Madam,

This is to bring into your kind notice that I Capt Varun Singh Malhan has purchased a window 1.5 Ton AC with S.No: 903NLPQ000496, LWA5HW2DD1, AN49DN1(IN) from LG Showrooom, Karkhana Rd, Secunderabad on 1st Apr 2009.
Since the time I have installed this AC, I have been facing problems, for which I have contacted LG Customer Care no:[protected], and from them, forget about customer satisfaction, I have received only the complaint id’s & false expectations of repairing my AC issues . Detailed description of all the problems is as follows:
Problems
1) S9C[protected]Complaint id on 8th Apr 09): As soon as I installed my AC it started leaking, and was making loud intermittent noise, it filled my room with water and then started switching on and off itself.
I immediately called Lg Customer Care and they gave me the above mentioned Complaint id and promised an engineer visit for next business day.
Next Day an Engineer named Mr. Raju with a mobile no([protected]) appeared and told me that I have to tilt the AC in upward direction and cover it with a ply board to avoid the loud noise problem and for Automatic Switching on and off issue he said that, Since this AC is automatic, this happens in every new AC.
As a new customer, I believed his words and signed on his resolution sheet, because he assured me that if next time also the same thing happens I can call him anytime for the service and he will come immediately.
2) S9C[protected]Complaint id on 26th May 09): The problem was not completely solved, noise issue was consistently disturbing my newborn babies sleep, and then AC was not giving any cooling effect. I again called Mr. Raju, he came and removed all the screws of my AC and said now sound will not come and since there is dust in the front panel of AC it’s not giving cool air, so he cleaned the dust and said 1st service is over please sign. I did so, thinking that the issue is resolved.

3) S9C[protected]Complaint id 30th May 09): After few days again the problem started, I again called LG Customer care and complaint as AC was making loud intermittent noise, I was having guests at home and they were making fun that my AC makes louder noise then there Cooler. I consulted few of my friends who use similar AC and they told me that this kind of a noise never comes from there AC, I again called Mr. Raju, he told me that he has given the complaint to his department and on 27th May 09, there team will come to pick this AC, as they need to replace the gas leakage component, in the company itself. I agreed on his words and waited whole day but no one turned up. Then I called LG Care again and after 2 days LG Onsite Engineer came with his assistant in the evening i.e. On 29th May 09, He told me where is the AC placed, I showed him the way and thought he is confident enough and night solve the issue-But….Instead of solving my issues he increased my problems:
a) Even before solving the problems he filled his resolution sheet and told me to sign on it, I refused and told him to fix the issues first.
b) I live on First flr, and it’s a window AC, which I have put on my window by providing an Iron Rods extension to it like a stand : I told the engineer that it’s on a stand be careful while taking out the AC but he immediately pulled it out, My AC was about to fall because of his negligence.
c) Somehow I managed to save my AC from falling down and breaking into pieces and taking help of my 2 helpers.
d) Because he pulled it out roughly, entire body of my AC from top, bottom, left & right, it was scratched badly. He also broke my plywood cover and wooden stand which was on the iron stand to tilt the AC.
e) The engineer covered all the scratches with the newspaper and tape, thinking that scratches are not visible by me and put the AC back on the stand.
f) After waiting 2 hours on this hassle he created, he couldn’t solve the cooling problem. He just started blabbering on usage of remote of the AC. He also said the same thing that since this AC has got automatic on off system, it will get off itself.
g) For my intermittent noise issue, he asked for coconut oil, when I gave him the bottle of parachute oil he put it in the machine and told me that this will solve the noise issue for now. Then I asked him that will this occur again he said it might come, then I asked him should I also use coconut oil then he said that it is harmful for the AC, then I scolded him that why did he used it. Then he said to fix the problem temporarily he has done so.
h) Since the noise problem was intermittent, I requested him to wait for some more time to check; he refused and said already he has wasted his time in fixing the first issue with this AC-he was in a hurry of what???God knows!
i) Then He and his assistant forced me to sign on their resolution sheet, I refused because none of my issues were resolved by then, I asked there ID’s & names, and to horrifying my experience with LG, they told me that LG doesn’t provide them any id cards, and they also refused to give there full names.I got a doubt wheather they are actual LG Engineers or not, I asked their managers name and contact number.
j) He gave Mr. Shrikant/Mr. Anil’s number ([protected]), I called them and explained them the entire issue, Mr. Shrikant said he is a Sr. Sales Manager and he promised me that he will send a Senior Engineer named Mr. Qasim tomorrow ie. On 30th May, I again waited and infact wasted the whole day, no one turned up.I again called the other day, and I got the same answer- I called LG Customer care and spoke to Mr. Uday, wasted one hour on phone explaining him the issue, Iguess he was sleeping on call, I requested him to speak to a manager but he assured me that I will get a call from his manager in 5 min, Alas no call till today (29th Jul 09)Since then I am waiting for an engineer who can fix this issue, and have made severl calls to customer care, but all my efforts are gone in vain.
k) LG Customer care is least bothered about my issue, they have not even tried giving a callback atleast once.
l) There engineers are not even qualified engineers they are simple mechanics who knows how to open an AC but doesn’t know how to fix it.
m) These engineers don’t even know proper English or Hindi, when they cannot understand the customer how will they solve anyones issue.
n) I then went and bought a cooler to beat the heat of Hyderabad, shameless LG has still not called.
o) I did not sign on his resolution sheet thinking that some on emight call to know why it I sunsighned but no one cares in LG .
4) S9C[protected]Complaint id 17th Jul 09): My AC is born with intermittent sound issue which is more than a cooler, its leaks sometimes and make my room a swimming pool, its not taking load and again switching on and off itself within 10 mintues interval of time, and on top of that it started giving out bad smell, which makes the entire environment dirty. I had to call LG Customer care again, thinking this time atleast they will give some good resolution, they promised an engineer visit, no one turned up its over a week now. Called again spoke to Mr. Bala-he promised the same thing. Waited for another two days, same Engineer Mr. Raju turned up, He again opened my AC Door and said some parts are not there with him to fix it, he will get it in half an hoiur and he will come back, I waited the whole day but Mr. Raju has not come yet.called again, spoke to Mr. Bhaskar, I requested him for a manager, he told me none of the managers have come to the office today, he guaranteed me an engineer visit, but no one has turned up.

5) S9C[protected]Complaint id 27th Jul 09): Called LG Customer Care for the same issue, they said someone will come to pick my AC on their vehicle, its more than 4 days now no one has turned up.

6) S9C[protected]Complaint id 29th Jul 09): Called again and they have promised a pick up today, I gave them so many chances and told them that if this time its not fixed I will go to the consumer court, LG Team has no affect of this also. They are least borthered about anything.

I seriously need your help to fix this issue at the earliest, As now I need a New replacement for this window AC S.No: 903NLPQ000496, LWA5HW2DD1, AN49DN1(IN) and a compensation for sleeping in this hot weather with your non working AC and suffering and getting mental torture from your unqualified and ill mannered onsite engineers and going through the trauma of calling your LG Customer Care and getting humiliated by hearing same answers without any resolutions and taking pain of listening bad words and funny jokes from friends and relatives regarding this Cooler, I mean AC which sounds like a cooler, else guide me to approach the Consumer Court and appeal for justice for the same.

LG Window AC 1.5 T — Window AC needs to be replacement for customer satisfaction.

Dear Customer service Dept,


I have been customer of different LG products. But last month I bought a LG Window AC 1.5 T DF1 model. Which is not working as per design.


CMPLAINT: N9C60300221
Initially i was told because of PCB, twice they changed the PCB and also said the Motor FAUTLY.

TECHNICIANS WHO CAME WHEN THE CHANGED THE PCB IT SHORTED AND CHANGED ANOTHER ONE NOW THEY SAY MOTOR ISSUE AND CHANGED MOTOR TOO.

NOW AUTOSWING NOT WORKING.

SHOW IT AS DEFECTIVE PRODUCT AND NO ONE WANTS TO CHANGE IT.

That mean out of 3 major components in the AC two are changed. Which means a defective product. Which SErvice center and Area service manager Mr.Amit, do not want to change.ALSO MANY FEATURES OF THE PCB LIKE AUTOSWING IS NOT WORKING. UNTIL NOW.





I AM TOTALLY DISSATIFIED WITH THE LG PRODUCTS KNOW BECAUSE OF THE ATTITUDE AND SERVICE. AFTER SALES SERVICE.

FOR SURE I WILL APPEAL WITH THE UPPER MANAGEMENT OF CUSTOMER SERVICE OF LG INDIA.

EVEN IF NECESSARY TO THE CONSUMER FORUM. IF THE PRODUCT IS NOT REPLACED.
I HAVE TWO PATIENTS AT HOME UNDERGOING CANCER TREATMENT. I CANNOT RUN AFTER SERVICE CENTER FROM THE TIME I PURCHASED THE PRODUCT. IF IT CAN UNDER GO THIS REPAIR IN JUST ONE MONTH OF PURCHASE. i DO NOT KNOW ABOUT ITS FUTURE.


Is there any person I knows the MEANING OF CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SATISFACTION. pLEASE REPLACE THIS PRODUCT.

    This is regarding the manufacturing defect in LG Refigerator Model No:-GL-195NM4/185litres Direct Cool which i purchased form
    M/S Sahu Agencies Pvt.Ltd,
    Gomti Nagar Branch,
    Lucknow.
    on 23 march, 2009.I have noticed a manufacturing defect related to its working operation, as it is producing some loud(audible)sounds which are mentally disturbing continuously day or night.So most of the time the equipment has to be switched off to put silience in the room.so most of the time this Refigerator is useless for me as it is not working, in the idle(Off) state the freezer water come to condensing pot after overflow of this pot, the whole water from this equipment spread on the floor each day. This is a very critical situation for the customer point of view as you are claiming that LG is the No:ONE Brand
    in India.Also you are claiming that your service is No one in India.
    This problem was first encontered on the first day of purchasing, on next day i spoke to Sahu Agencies Pvt.Ltd, but they asked me to launch a complaint regarding this problem to LG Care.So i lodged a complaint to customer care & i got a request ID related to this problem.The first request ID no. was N9C51201948, on the behalf of this request no one from LG CARE has visited to my premises.I waited again & again, problem was not resloved till now.I also lodged another complaint on 27june, 2009, after one week i got a call from sevice centre that a person will visit your premises, i went my home by taking a half day leave from office, but at last nobody came to my home to resolve my problem.The problem is as it is on the day of puchasing.Please do needful to reslove this issue.

      Ok, I got a solution:

      Press the center key (scroll) but not top or bottom, left or right - right in the center and hold it for a few seconds. Your speaker mode will go off automatically.

      Yes the same problem was existing in my mobile. Just press the down key for sometime you can switch off the speker. Same can be done to switch on too
      I'm also facing the same problem. I tried by holding the scroll key at center. But it did not work.
      It is giving an option to select ring tone.
      Is any other way to disable auto speaker mode?

        I, d purchased one Nos. MWO model MG557B Sl.No.M23-4081L000620 from PUSHPAK ELECTRONICS Korba, Its regular going under problem i, d spent more than Rs.4000/- on repair by LG SERVICE CENTRE Star Visison Services KORBA, Now i, ve packed it due to regular defect and when asked they say the service doesn't carry any warranty.
        I just want to know about the quality/ quality of spares /quality of service / being done.

        Please get needful done.

          I HAVE PURCHASED LG WINDIW AIR CONDITIONER FROM SAHU DEALER IN CSD CANTEEN LUCKNOW AND WITHIN 1 WEAK IS STOPPED COOLING AND NO ONE ATTENDED MY COMPLAIN FROM LG SERVICE AND NOT EVEN FROM SAHU SERVICE AFTER THAT WHEN WE GO TO THE DEALER HE MISBEHAVES AND WAS NOT READY TO REPLACE THE PRODUCT EVEN IF IT WAS FAULTY AND STOPS WORKING IN A WEAK. HE ASKED FOR CHARGING RS 2000 FOR REPAIR WITHIN GUARENTEE PERIOD AND FINALLY SERVICE CENTRE BOY FOUNDS THAT UNIT IS FAULTY AND HE MISGUIDED US AND IN THIS CASE HE DOESNT REPLACED COMPLETE MACHINE HE ONLY CHANGED THE COMPRESSOR FROM ON OLD MACHINE AFTER THAT COOLING GETS FINE BUT THAT OLD COMPRESSOR HE FITS FROM ONE OF THE OLD MACHINE WAS ALSO FAULTY AND PRODUCING LOTS OF NOISE IN EVERY STARTS SO PLS HELP ME AND SOLVE MY PROBLEM . THE UNIT STOPPED COOLING IN VERY SHORT TIME (ONLY 1 WEAK) SO I NEED REPLACEMENT OF COMPLETE MACHINE SO PLS DO NEEDFULL

            I own an lg turbo wonder automatic machine -6 kg - bought on dt dec 2007 which has suddenly run out of order, having complained on dt 21 july 2009 at service center at jain mandir civil lines moradabad a gentle man turned late evening at 8 pm and after seeing the machine he simply stated his non-efficiency to look into it and went back to send the other specialist who has not turned as yet ..Is this we expect from a world class company's service which promises to give service with in 24 hoursof the complaint ? may be thy stand for the customers in the meteropols if this is so then why distributors in corporate town and sing life is good. i think that company focuses it s' strategies on presenting advertisements with super stars to bait the common man, better part some profit to upgrade the after sales services., so that a customer may step up the show room

                Sir,


                i have bought one LG TFT monitor, 22 inch, last year in the end of August. Now, it started giving problem related to colored patches on right corner side both upper and lower... as the warranty card has mentioned an ON-SITE WARRANTY in it the persons from the said concerned department are saying to bring the TFT to them.. i have lodged complaint two times, but of no help...

                kindly tell me what to do...

                  This is Deepmala Ahlawat. I brought one LG handset KP115 on 14th of june from The Mobile Store Ltd. Plot no.8, Atlantic plaza Vaishali, Sec - 4 Shop No-6 Ghaziabad - 201010 Phone no.[protected].. and i am facing lots of problem with handset i sent that handset twice to the LG service centre through The Mobile Store Ltd. (as they told me to provide service for one year)for one-one week but when i checked problem was still not resolved than on 14th july i personally went to LG service centre Laxmi Nagar Delhi, they said they changed the speaker but when i came back n started using that set again i faced the same kind of problem. Because of that i am loosing my valuable time, energy and money. I am a working women and i cant go again & again to service centre. i want to give my money back and i am also going to cunsumer court for the problems which i faced in last one month because of the handset. as LG is a very big & well known brand i have never expected this type of quality & ignorance for their customers. In future i will never recommond LG as a brand to anyone. please help me out.
                  Very well said about LG...I want to suggest all to not to go for LG specially for Mobile Sets. this is one of my worst experiese about the gadzets...

                    First, If any body planning to purchase LG Product, I would like to advice them not to purchase LG Product because their service is very very worst. I purchase A/c in 2007 & problem started after fixing it some time water is leaking, every six month gas is evacuted from compressor & again new problem started from last month, the A/c is work only 2 Hours & automatically switch off.If I call the customer simply they will say our technician will attend you soon but he will be after 2 weeks. I don't know what to do with this problem. . They given us warranty but it is only on the paper whenever they came they charge heavily.

                    LG A/C — VERY BAD PRODUCT

                    I HAVE PURCHASED ONE LG A/C FROM ONE OF THE DEALER IN NEW DELHI WHEN THE A/C WAS INSTALLED AFTER INSTALLING THE A/C, IN A WEEK TIME THE BLOWER WAS MAKING NOICE AND BLOWER WAS NOT WORKING THEN WE CALLED UP AT THE CUSTOMER CENTRE THE GUY CAME AND HE SAID I WILL REPLACE THE BLOWER I TOLD HIM I DONT WANT TO REPLACE IT, I NEED NEW A/C THEN HE SAID WE CANNOT DO THIS . THEN WE CALLED UP THE DEALER (MR.PUNEET OWNER OF THE SHOP)THEY WERE SO GOOD NEXT DAY THEY CHANGED IT. THANKS TO THEM AND NOW WE HAVE A PROBLEM IN THE DISPLAY OF THE A/C I HAVE BEEN CALLING THE CUSTOMER CARE CENTRE FROM 15DAYS AND I HAVE RECEIVED A CALL FROM A GUY WHO WAS SO ROUD AND HE DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO SPEAK TO THE CUSTOMER (MY COMPLAINT ID IS:N8C[protected] SO I TOLD HIM IS THAT THE WAY TO SPEAK TO THE CUSTOMERS THEN HE DISCONNECTED THE CALL .THEN ON 18/08/08 SOMEBODY CAME AND HE SAID WHY YOU HAVE TAKEN THE LG A/C INSTEAD OF THIS YOU SHOULD BOUGHT SOME OTHER BRAND LIKE VOLTAS, O GENERAL ETC... SO THIS IS MY PERSONAL OPINION ONE SHOULD NOT BUY THE LG PRODUCTS NEVER NEVER NEVER...NEVER...NEVER BUY LG PRODUCTS... BUT THANKS TO MR.PUNEET THAT HE HELPED US LAST TIME, AND WE HAVE TOLD HIM AGAIN LETS SEE WHAT HAPPENS...
                    LG's much hyped 24 x 7 Service is non-existant. Prospective LG customers be aware.

                    LG A/C — Very Poor response

                    I have bought one 1.5T Split A/C on 26/02/09 and the same was installed on 01/03/09. After 15 days, there is allot of noise from Indoor unit.I made a complaint allot of time and no action took. so, I called Regional Service centre and after their action the service peoples came and changed the motor which is fitted inside the indoor unit. Two days later, again I faced the same problem. Immediately, I made a complaint and no body response my complaint and until now (23/06/09) the problem haven't solved and I am really diappointed very much..

                    VERY, VERY POOR RESPONSE from LG.

                    LG A/C — Bad Service

                    I bought A/C's from an LG dealer by the name of Surya in South Extension, New Delhi. After the warranty period the A/C was not cooling. I called up Surya & they sent their mechanic to fill gas. After few days again it stopped cooling. When we spoke to Surya they said they will not come . We then contacted the LG Customer Care . A mechanic came after 2 days from Servotax Services, C- 428 Sector 10, NOIDA. He told us that the earlier mechanic had damaged the A/C & we will have to pay nearly Rs 4000 for the repair.As we had no option we paid that amount & got the A/C done. It worked for just one day. The part that was changed was also damaged.After that we have been lodging compaints & calleg up but no one has come for a week. I have paid money for no fault of mine. Both the centre that I contacted are your authrised dealers. Each one blames the other for the damage.

                    I want my A/C repaired & claim what has been charged for no fault of mine.

                    LG A/C — service issue

                    The day i've puchased this a/c almost 5 times i had an issue with the censor and when i call customer service they are in no position to assist. Anyhow i managed to get censor replaced but again i'm facing a service issue as despite of lodging complaint for atleast 10 times noone from LG arrived. '

                    Sadly i've to say that LG is one of the worst, digusting and unprofessional company when it comes after sales service and i've recommended all my friends and relatives not to go with LG.

                          This is to inform you that over the last few months, the LCD Tv of your co. bought by me in 2008 July has been having a peculiar problem. Shortly after switching it on the screen goes blank
                          Your technician has come on 3 occasions and done some work but the problem persists
                          Today the technician who came said they would need to take the system away to change the mother board

                          I am recording this plaint here in view of the fact that the warranty on this product expires on 26th July but I would need to have warranty provided by you on the entire LCD post replacement of the motherboard

                              I purchased LCD TV 26" XCanvas TV in 2007, since 4 months remote vide model MKJ3 J22805 not functioning, made number of times complaint to local LG service center, they have visited, taken remote for repair, however remote could not be repaired. Infact requested for new remote, for which agreed to pay also.But i was told that this model is not available in the company. I am surprised to know that this is the responce from local service centers..howcome this model is not available when i purchased TV two years back.I am operating TV without remote for last four months...

                                Microwave Model No MG-396WA S.No 707ABQA014700 was pruchased by me on[protected]. The same got damaged within 6 month I booked a complaint with the company. They repaired the same. However, on[protected] the microwave stopped again working with a smoke. I immediately booked a complaint with the company vide their Complaint Number N9C62600450. Local engineer from Jammu Mr Bali came and inform that its transformer is burnt and the same will be replaced within 2 days. However, despite of my repeated contact to Jammu Centre as well as reminder on their National Compaint Centre at [protected] microwave is not repaired every time they are saying that the same will be repaired within 2 days part has not come from their corporate office.

                                This is the position within waranty period what will happen after warranty period. During the first year mircowave is dead for month than 2 months.

                                you are requested to kindly take up the comlaint with the Company so that microwave can be repaired, besides imposing penalty for harrasment to the consumer.'

                                    We have purchased LG A/C 13 months back.Since then no service provided by LG.
                                    Inspite of our repeated reminder over phone there's no response. Where to contact for service.
                                    We have to contact the distributor or LG. If it is then its no use. Its might is well that we have to
                                    get good service technician from other places and get serviced and pay whatever the charges.
                                    LG made us to burn our fingers. We feel that LG does not have CAPABLE to do service.
                                    We have AMC with LG from 01/04/2015. The amount has been deducted for the same.
                                    The service person who came told that AMC was not updated.
                                    We asked the call center and they checked and verified that the AMC is updated. Also told us to ask the service person to do the repair. As the service person Suresh is dependent on the manager and he says that AMC is not updated we were given the number service center manager Vishnu. We were calling him for past 3 days and he is unresponsive to us.
                                    We request the concerned people to address.
                                    My LG LED TV is unoperational since last 10 days. Had lodged a complaint with the LG service centre in Mumbai. Technician visited our house on Monday, 25-MAY-2015 with a promise that he would get the defective part replaced in 2 days. It is more than 10 days but he has not yet come back. This is really poor customer service standards from a MNC like LG. Would not recommend LG to anyone.

                                    I am presently residing at Upper Beniasole, Near Maya Press, Adra, Dist:Purulia., West Bengal.

                                    The product was delivered on 8th June 2015 and your service cum installation engineer have also visited on the same day. But, to our surprise they have informed us that installation which requires minor plumbing work will not be done by them. The plumbing work requires was the socket of the dishwasher has to be threaded with the TAP/Pipe.

                                    They have also misbehaved rudely and has informed that till this works are completed by the buyer they will not installed the machine and if they are not interested to do the plumbing work, they can also return the machine.

                                    My only concern here is that a customer buys at machine and thinks that it will be installed by the concern company without any hassle. But, if a reputed company like LG having best customer service Tag doesn't have their in house mechanics which were required at the time of installation, then it's a very sorry state of affair.

                                    Till date, the Dishwasher has not been installed.
