Issue No. CNP[protected], My monitor had an panel issue where thin red lines started to appear, I called LG customer service and registered a complaint, the same day itself a technician came to my home and inspected the monitor, he opened the whole monitor, inspected everything inside and confirmed there's an issue with panel so it will be replaced for free of cost under warranty, after 12 days they come with the replacement panel, and when they open the panel the find slight rusting on a corner of the panel which was not there on the first inspection, and they say it will not be covered under warranty and put back my old panel, and the best part is these people mishandles my old panel which got completely damaged and they leave despite me talking to them. I immediately called the customer care and they said this issue will be resolved and they have escalated it to a higher team, so I have waited for 2 days, no call no mail, so I called them and they repeat the same thing, every 3-4 days I call them, wait on hold for several minutes and listen to the same answers, and one fine day I get an SMS saying my complaint has been closed without any information, I was shocked and immediately called back the customer support, with the regular apology message they said they will escalate this, its been one month since that call, no response from LG, at least if they don't replace the panel, for LG being such a big MNC they don't have basic customer support service.
LG Electronics customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
