HARRASSMENT BY SEERVICE CENTER AND CHEATING

LG SERVICE CUSTOMER CARE

The experience which I had with the service of my washing machine, has been so horrendous that it has forced me to do start a campaign the nature of which I am not comfortable myself.

I purchased an LG TV from Nandilath G Mart (around ₹50, 000). Shockingly, the TV’s panel completely failed just one month after the warranty expired, despite very light usage by my elderly parents.

I immediately raised a complaint (RNP[protected], Escalation No: VCP[protected]_01). Unfortunately, till now I have not received any proper response from LG. Every time I follow up, I only get standard replies, and the Area Service Manager stopped answering my calls. Even the assurances from LG’s escalation team and management have not resulted in any clear solution.

Importantly, the only reason a panel replacement is being considered is because I had purchased an additional warranty. This is not LG’s goodwill — without that extra payment, I would have been left with a completely dead TV after just one year. For such a premium brand, this is very disappointing and unfair.

I expected LG to stand by their product quality. A premium TV should not fail so soon, and customers should not be left without proper support. If LG truly values its customers, they should take responsibility and provide a full replacement, not just hide behind warranty terms.

Extremely dissatisfied with this experience and I cannot recommend LG to anyone.

    I had raised a service request for my LG washing machine on 07-Aug-25, but unfortunately, no service has been provided so far despite multiple follow-ups.

    Details of my request:

    • Product Name: Washing Machine
    • Issue : Machine not taking the after-wash liquid (comfort liquid)

    After multiple follow-ups, I was given an escalation request number, but still no service or solution has been provided. I genuinely do not understand the point of receiving an escalation number without any resolution.

    This washing machine is only 3 months old, yet I am struggling to get it serviced. Sorry to say, but I have never experienced such poor service before.

    I request your immediate intervention to resolve this matter without any further delay. Please confirm the action plan and the exact date when the service will be completed.

      I am writing to raise a serious complaint about the poor after-sales service from the LG authorized service center located in Muvattupuzha, Ernakulam.

      I purchased an LG refrigerator which came with a 10-year warranty on the compressor. Recently, it developed a cooling issue. The authorized service team inspected the unit and claimed it was a gas leakage problem. I paid around ₹3000 for service and transportation, and they refilled the gas.

      However, the same issue reappeared within a short time. When I contacted the service center again, they asked me to bring it to their location. After further inspection, they have now told me they are unable to fix the refrigerator, without offering any refund or replacement — despite the valid warranty on the compressor.

      This is highly unprofessional and unethical. The repeated failure and now refusal to service a product still under warranty is unacceptable.

      I request LG to:
      • Investigate the service center’s handling of this case,
      • Provide a free repair or compressor replacement as per the warranty terms, or
      • Offer a full refund or unit replacement if the product is unrepairable.

      If LG does not resolve this urgently, I will escalate this matter to the Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission.

        Dear LG Customer Support,

        I'm writing to bring to your attention a serious issue with our washing machine service. We've registered a complaint with the number [protected]. Unfortunately, the technician who visited took Rs 3500 from my mother, Mrs Raj Rani Sansanwal (senior citizen), and mentioned that he would return within the next two days to change the machine part. However, since then, he has not visited, and more concerningly, he's not picking up calls.

        Despite multiple calls, there's been no response from the technician. What's concerning is that our machine is out of warranty, and this incident seems like a clear case of fraud. As a valued LG customer, we expect better service, especially considering your brand's reputation.

        We request immediate attention to this matter. Please look into this and take necessary actions.

          It is my prerogative to get a mandatory valid invoice and e-receipt naming with address as - Dhirubhai Vaghela, Plot No.29/2, Sector 4 A, Gandhinagar-382006, as per the mandatory provisions in Para 5(1)(d) of CP General Rules, 2020 read with section 2 (47)(vii) of CP Act, 2019 and Rule 46(f) CGST Rules 2017. LG violated the mandatory provisions ibid, and did not issue an e-receipt and a valid mandatory invoice, but issued an invalid invoice on 12.2.22, after seven months of supply of goods, yet it did not include my name and address, and it did not meet legal standards as prescribed, rendering it invalid. Illegal LG action for providing an invalid invoice (LG policy compliant but not meeting legal standards prescribed by GST Act, 2017 and CP Act, 2019) as a substitute for a legally valid mandatory invoice and e-receipt has stonewalled my legal action to make a complaint to the consumer court, and suggests legal hindrance in an insurance claim in case of contingencies like theft, fire, etc and can force me to corruption/bribe to police during transit from one place or city to another for invalid invoice not acceptable to police or other agencies. I am in badly need of a valid mandatory invoice and e-receipt containing my name and address as per the mandatory provisions ibid as requested. I again request that LG comply with the mandatory provisions as noted above and issue a mandatory valid invoice and e-receipt containing my name and address immediately, as the issue of a mandatory valid invoice and e-receipt has been badly stonewalled in violation of the mandatory provisions of the CP Act and GST Act.

            Despite following standard purchase procedures, I received a product that does not meet LG's expected standards of reliability and quality. I have already documented the damage thoroughly and attempted to resolve this through standard support channels, but the response has been unsatisfactory.
            Given LG's reputation for excellence, I expect immediate action to address this matter, including:
            - A prompt replacement of the damaged unit or a full refund without further delays.
            - A formal explanation regarding how such an incident was allowed to happen.
            - Improvements to quality control and customer service to prevent similar occurrences in the future.

                We ordered a Whirlpool refrigerator from Pai International, Kalyan Nagar Branch. Initially, we were given false promises about the delivery timeline. Despite constant follow-ups, we received fake tracking updates, and the refrigerator was delivered late.

                Upon inspection, the refrigerator was faulty, with issues in door closure. Our concerns were ignored until we escalated the matter to Meena Pai, the MD, and other senior members. Even after this, we were unjustly charged twice for the delivery of the same product.

                It is evident that no quality check was performed, and the product was blindly delivered to us. This is a blatant breach of trust and a waste of our time and efforts.

                We demand immediate resolution of this issue and a refund of the unjust delivery charges.

                Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

                  It has been days since I lodge my complain for my lg front load washing machine for installation and repair. Every time call lg custoumer care there is huge lack of co ordination between them one lg reprentatibe says somthing other says something just opposite like a disorganized sector. Or they are fooling the custoumer through this strategy. If after paying 41k on lg product and getting cheated and old generation extremly low quality service, i'll suggest others to not buy lg product and go through unwanted pain which im going through now. Lg on service part is worst performing company compair to other companies.

                    I called for servicing to LG service centre through call centre number[protected] on 6th September and they sent their men on 8th September. They charged me Rs. 8500 for the same considering Rs. 3000 for copper tube and Rs. 5500 for Gas refill. Now within 15 days the problem has recurred. The mail issue is AC not giving us any cooling. It is because of Leakage. But I dont know what kind o[censored]ntrained, unprofessional service engineer has been appointed where they could not identify exact problem and even after spending so much money problem still persisting and now when I am calling the service engineer for last 7 days there is no response. I want my AC to be rectified on immediate basis without any additional charge or refund of the complete Rs. 8500 which I had paid of Cosmos.

                      We had purchased LG Washing machine on 26/Sept /2022 the washing machine came with 2 YEARS warranty. On 06th August 2024, there was issue with the washing machine. On 13th August we raised a complaint to LG, After 24 hours, LG sent an SMS that their technician will come and visit to repair it The complaint number RNP[protected] .
                      The technician came and after visiting informed that the DISPLAY PCB needs to be replaced. After few days, I called him again to ask him when would the part be replaced. I was informed that the DISPLAY PCB is not available all over india and might take week or more to get it. Now, we purchased the washing machine so that the chores of washing can be automated, but LG does not seem to be bothered about it. As an electronics company, they should be keeping well stocked for the spares of machines that are within the warranty period, Now more than a week has been spent on just waiting for the Spare to come. Also we are sending clothes to local Laundry to wash the same, that is another extra expense. As a responsible electronics company, LG should keep spares for washing machine which is 2 year old, at least their Warranty is for 2 years, after that they are apparently supposed to support the Washing machine with spares for 5 years at least.

                      Due to this situation, as a customer, I feel cheated by LG by offering Warranty without really keeping spares to support that warranty, thus causing us extra expense and inconvenience. IF LG cannot have the spares, then I would ask through you that LG replace this machine with a NEW WASHING MACHINE with spares available for the next 3 years at least. The idea being that if they cannot provide spares/support for machine within the official 2 years, I dont expect them to provide better service during the extended period of warranty when the spare production would be much lower a people purchase new machines and spares are made to support newer models.

                      LG is supposed to support the machine with spares for 5 years, but they are failing to even support it for 2 years. As a customer we cannot be expected to wait for months for LG to bring spares which they are supposed to keep in stocks. The Technician informed that this part fails regularly, thus LG should have kept spares in excess for part that fails regularly.

                        I am writing to express my deep frustration and disappointment with the persistent issues concerning my LG refrigerator, Model No. LG REF SBS 687L GCB247SCUV DAFF WHT, purchased on 26th January 2017.

                        On 9th August 2024, I lodged a complaint (Complaint No. RNP[protected]. On 10th August, your authorized representative, Mr. Poorna, visited my home. His inspection lasted less than two minutes, after which he diagnosed a compressor issue and stated that another technician would visit once the compressor was ready. He left without providing any acknowledgment, report, or detailed explanation, and since then, I have not received any updates from LG.

                        To add to my dissatisfaction, when I received no updates from LG, I contacted the service center on 12th August. Instead of apologizing for the lack of follow-up, the service center representative questioned why I called LG Customer care again. This kind of response is completely unacceptable and only adds to my frustration.

                        This incident is only the latest in a long series of issues I have faced with this refrigerator, beginning in the first year of ownership. Below is a summary of the complaints I have lodged over the years:

                          Dear Consumer Complaints Team,

                          I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the ongoing issues I am experiencing with my LG refrigerator, which has not been resolved despite repeated attempts and assurances from LG Customer Support. The refrigerator was only purchased in November 2023

                          I initially reported a fan error issue with my refrigerator under Service Request RNP[protected]. Despite assurances from LG Customer Support and promises of a resolution within 2 business days, the issue remains unresolved after more than the promised timeframe.

                          Furthermore, I have made numerous attempts to contact Mr. Vivek Chakravarty, the Area Service Manager, on the provided mobile number ([protected]), but have received no response or call back. Additionally, despite receiving a call two days ago assuring me that a technician would visit the same day, no one showed up.

                          This ongoing delay and lack of communication have caused significant inconvenience to my family, and we are now left with no choice but to consider legal action through the consumer court if this matter is not promptly addressed.

                          I request your urgent intervention to escalate this matter and ensure that LG Electronics takes immediate action to resolve the issue with my refrigerator. I can always provide bill and email correspondence if required.

                            Ideally a call is made when a service request is generated, I have logged complain on 19/06/2024 which was assigned to some service partner. I have not received any calls to fix /understand/advise the issue. when I try to connect them, the call was turned down and no calls answered. we have to spend nights on hot summer. even if there is no immediate fix but at least they should have a call to tell me how much time they need to get back.

                              On 17.03.2024 I bought 1.5 ton AC LG brand from Vasanth & Co at Gopichettipalayam branch

                              This AC has frequent cooling problem.

                              AC has been serviced thrice in three months from LG service station. The technician who attended the problem from the service center said that there is gas leakage in the copper tube of the indoor unit and left

                              Please fix my problem as soon as possible.
                              Three problems in three months after buying the AC. Please replace this AC. Vasanth and Co Quality Trust I need a solution for this.

                                We have been a PAI customer for over 15 years, never faced an issue before, but this time it was irresponsibility from the delivery partner which has now turned to carelessness .
                                We purchased a washing machine from Pai Jalahalli Cross(Dasarahalli) branch on 11th june and delivery was promised on 12th june but its been 2 days and there hasn't been a delivery yet . Moreover the deliver guy is now ignoring the calls, such a rude behavior.
                                I request PAI electronics to fix the issue as quickly as possible.

                                  I am writing to bring to your urgent attention an issue with the AC unit that I purchased from LG.

                                  Recently, a technician visited for regular service and pointed out that the fitting of the AC was not done correctly. Consequently, water has started leaking from the unit, which was not an issue before the technician's visit. We have been using the AC regularly without any problems until now.

                                  I have already lodged a complaint regarding this matter almost 20 days ago, but unfortunately, I have not received any response or resolution yet. The delay in addressing this issue is causing significant inconvenience.

                                    Pai international, yelahanka has supplied us with a defective refrigerator Haier brand vide inv no. 21466884 dtd 26/08/2023.
                                    Haier n pai international are not attending to several complaints lodged via whatsaap and on phone. The complaints are closed without visiting / contacting us without our consent. Would never ever recommend this Company n brand to anyone. I've lost approx. Rs. 60000/- until today.
