I am an old LG customer here and making up my mind not to use any LG product in Future. I have an LG TV -42LA6200 under AMC. Its Pannel has gone faulty for the second time, the first time it was under warranty so I paid 25K, this time this is under AMC but part is not available and service center has asked me to upgrade which took them about a month for approvals at all, no other TV provided in the meantime. I do not have a TV for almost 2 months now. LG has stopped making 3D TVs so all my 3D content which includes movies, original play station games and 3D accessories like glasses will be a waste now. They have asked me to upgrade to 49LJ554T by paying for 29500. The price of this TV online is 47K so the value of my current TV comes out just 17K(Bought it for 70K plus my old TV). Why should I go for this option to be with LG again for the same frustration again in future? I don't want to post this everywhere I can in Social Media and looking for a solution from you first as I think this Service Center is not taking care of my issues at all. Toady I have registered one complaint for LED installation but no one came in my house sir presently best service provider available in market as like Samsung if this type service will provide by you so I will return the product to dealer on tomorrow and choose an other brand.

    Issue with led 42ln5710 after updating lg led software hence lodged a complaint wherein the service engineer asked for 23k to repair and i agreed for same. But after follow up found out that my complaint rnp[protected] got closed without my consent or resolution.

    Hence lodged another complaint with complaint number rnp[protected] where in i got to know that the panel is not available and service engineer asked for the copy of bill. After providing the same the service engineer provided a number of his senior who never picked/responded to the calls made.

    I didn't received any call from customer support. This is really making me pissed off with this type attitude from lg. I don't understand why lg is manufacturing low cost motherboard which don't have much durability. And making customers to bare the price of buying the tv. I have invested 60k four yrs back thinking that investing towards brand is worthy.

    Stop duping people off their money by selling cheap products in the name of a recognized brand that lg is life.

      Have purchased lg 32lj522d led tv on 9th april 2018 from chawla electronic, tarn taran 143401, punjab and its showing horizontal line on screen for all channels from day one, lg personals asked to change cables and set top box but after changing same still issue same and lg guys not responding properly. Need replacement of same as its defective peace

      I called to lg service for the water leakage complaint. But I received third party service. They told we work in lg but font have time to wear uniform.so they said gas is low n told told to refill they took 1400 n told service they cleaned outside with cloth n took 700 total they charged 2100.         Stop duping people off their money by selling cheap products in the name of a recognized brand that lg is
        Life is not so good when consumers by your product because paying 80000 for a tv thinking that investment towards a brand is worthy of it doesn't stand true anymore.
        If you know that motherboards are the ones that are damaged quickly and which is also not covered under warranty (Actually, nothing is covered under warranty. You just think it is) then please atleast provide some in the market atleast.
        Gone are those days when you could trick consumers into buying your new products because a small part of the previous one is not working. I can get something in less than half of the price what i paid 4-5 years back.

          1) dishwasher was purchased on 2nd march 2014.
          2) 1st issue was reported on jul 2017.
          3) service team visited the site, took the dishwasher to service center and mentioned rat biting as the cause for which wire welding was done.
          4) dishwasher was brought back to home and instead of a dry run infront of my family, they shifted the dishwasher from groundfloor to 1st floor and asked to make arrangements for water and electric connection and then call them back for a test.
          5) after electric and plumber work was done, the lg team was called for a dry run. The machine did not work and they mentioned minor welding problem
          After 3- 4 time visits they took the machine to workshop and mentioned rat bite as the reason. The machine till today is in lg workshop.
          6) upon enquiring about the request status they mentioned that a part is ordered and so far they have not received the right part from lg team.
          7) upon enquiring with lg noida team, i was told that the part is not manufactured anymore and they are trying to get it from another faulty lg machine which is not working currently. I denied for such arrangements and then i was offered for product replacement.
          8) the billing details was shared with lg odisha area manager over whatspp and he asked for 10 days time to give the offer details.
          9) after 2 weeks when i contacted hin, he mentioned that the offer cannot be given and it has to be repaired.

          My concerns :-

          1) lg team never bothered to give me a call back and update on the request status.
          2) very rude behaviour by entire lg team, specially service center lead and area sales manager in odisha
          3) when i was informed that the part is not manufactured anymore by lg, how come overnight lg manufactured it now. How i as a customer would validate this.
          4) why the offer was not given after i submitted all invoicing details to area sales manager.
          5) i have repeatedly asked for the repair cost, instead had to pay a bill amount without lg team taking my agreement for the cost to be borne. This happened during 1st repair and the current case no update has been given yet, althought i have been regularly following up.
          6) if there is a design flaw in the dishwasher why a new model can't be procured and exchange offer given. I don't find rat biting any other lg products in my house like washing machine, refrigerator, tv. Mobile etc.
          7) once machine is taken to workshop different reasons are given, why should a new product that is hardly used for 3 yrs would have so much faults.

          Never go for lg dishwasher in odisha. Their team have zero technical knowledge on the product and will loot the customer with big repair amount as servicing cost and at the end the product never works. They keep customers in dark, sometimes stating lg stopped manufacturing the parts and then overnight you find the part is available. Lg takes no ownership of complaints. Consumer has to do multiple calls with lg teams starting from local lg technicians, lg service center lead, area sales team, noida team and mumbai team and status remains same after months of follow-up. Definitely for me from now onwards any lg product is a big no, waste of money and time.

            Refrigerator that is 6 yrs old stopped cooling. Difficult to find a repair. Contacted lg and have been repeatedly lied to about the emailing of an authorization form. Called on 4/7/18-told form would be emailed to technician. Called on 4/9/18, told process takes 3-5 days. Already with no refrig for a week. Told they would expedite process. Called on 4/10/18, still no form. Nice again told they would expedite process. Requested to file a complaint. Asked for info where to submit. Was told they didn’t have that info and no one runs the company. Absolutely unacceptable. I have lost all contents in the refrig, now without for 10 days, and will cost $300. For repair.

              I enquired and purchase a 889 ltr lg grj31fwchl fridge from lg brand store called lg sumaria in ghatkopar east, mumbai almost 45 days back. A full payment of rs.2, 05, 000 was made in cheque. A week later after constant follow up the staff nonchalantly informs that its out of stock and they are trying to arrange a unit. Another week passes by and then i get a call saying the product is discontinued. All typos time after the purchase they store and stuff got me to make changes in plumbing to accommodate the water dispenser and aquaguard. Now they propose a similar model fridge which is yet to be launched soon, and then i get information that the new model will launch a month later. It has been past the committed date. I have received no fridge or not even an information or communication from the store.
              I am appalled by the retail service and dread the product capabilities. I have invested a considerable amount of time and money into this brand. I m soon going to be seeking legal redressal.

                I have purchased lg led lcd tv in Jan 2017, as warranty is upto 12 months and after warranty expired later a month in April the malfunction of motherboard/mainboard started.

                The tv doesn’t start at all. There is no fault of power supply in my home and also no physical damage of circuits inside the tv which was seen and tested by their lg technician itself.

                Now a question rises to me. Do lg programs their motherboard / mainboard to malfunction after the warranty period expires because no unusual thing can be seen inside the tv like electric shock, burnt etc.,

                TV is physically good from outside and also on circuits. Problem is only due to the motherboard. I want this problem to be solved asap.

                If my lg led lcd tv motherboad / mainboard is not replaced for free of cost then I will not recommend anyone to buy lg appliances because of this reason. Instead i will publish my problem over social networking like facebook, twitter, youtube etc.. So that no one should prefer to buy lg appliances in future.

                technician came and told motherboard has to be changed and it cost 7000+. Why should i bear that only after 14 months. This is ridiculous and worst part from leading manufacturer. Even local TV companies are providing good quality tvs. Please resolve or i need to go consumer court.

                customer care executive called me and gave area manager named Venkat Krishna to talk. When i talked to him, he was saying it is an electronics product so we cant guarantee the product. I didnt expected such a reckless answer from him. I even told will complain. he was saying go anywhere, i recommended no one should buy LG product which is of no use.
                I didn't received any call from customer support. This is really making me pissed off with this type attitude from LG. I don't understand why LG is manufacturing low cost motherboard which don't have much durability. And making customers to bare the price of buying the TV. I have invested 70K for 49LH600T model to get dissatisfaction just in 14 months

                  I brought my led 32inch lg 32ln5110 in nov. 2013. This year 2018 in apr. The screen stoped working but the sound was coming. Asked customer care who comes switch on/off tv and said its a known fault and asked 767 rs for just to check the tv by technician. I confirm from lg technician
                  But found lot of customers who have this issues that mean lg makes defective products.

                  We are investing so much money on brands like lg with a trust that it will last longer.
                  I am really disappointed because for a middle class person like me rs. 27000/- is a very big amount.

                  Please address my issue and help me to replace my lg product with new one.

                  I am very disappointed, i don't want any lg products.
                  I'll never ever purchase any lg products in my life time if they will not get me replacement.
                  Otherwise i will request all the customers not to go for lg led tv or any products of lg.
                  They are not trustworthy at all. Never trust lg. 😡

                    I am one of your customer i am writing this grievances with heavy hearted.. I am your regular customer for past 10year you can check in with my mobile numbers [protected] in your data base how many products i have putchased with lg. Recently i have putchased lg led smart tv 49lj554t at tnagar vasnath and co on 9th mar 2018 with an amount of 57k around. Since i believe your brand name of lg and i have also recommanded to my family friend to purchase with lg brand.. Now my issue is lg smart tbmv which i purchased on mar 9th is damaged without our miatake. Last two days back i have identified some thine line in the right side of the television. I think its a broadcasting mistake from air tell dish. Then 2nd day the line automatically expanding to 4 to 6 lines. Now half of the tv effected. Then i have raised the complaint in customer care today around 17.35 pm withi 2 hour one of your service executive visited the my residance then he check and blamed us like you have broken the tv. It is not lg system faults.. With the spane of 29day your lg smart products gone out.. At the time of purchase your sales exective committed like you have 1year warranty for display now your service executive simply saying like you have to pay around 60k to replace the same.
                    Its my hard earned money kindly help your prompt customer to rectify the issue as soon as possible.

                        LG Service centre at Vapi Gujarat no. [protected] called today for service of split air coditioner and booked the complaint noted my address and phone by service centre but no one visited till afternoon 2.00 pm so I called again and they said that will come and service. But this is 5th experience that their person visit after 6.00 pm. same thing happened today I received called at 7.45 pm to service the air conditioner and person informed that I received phone call to service this ac at 6.00 pm from their centre.
                        LG electronics name the service centre running at vapi this type of service which is completely unsatissfied.

                          But now less than a month after i purchased you have started another offer. Giving free bluetooth headset as well as wireless charger. Which is very unfair.
                          I would like to request to get an bluetooth headset as i have purchased at same price and before and that too i am a regular buyer of lg mobiles...

                            Hi lg,

                            I have raised a service request for repair of my refrigerator on 1st march 2018. The request number is rnp[protected]. For that a service engineer attended that and informed me that a spare part is failed for which there is no spare parts available lg (Discoutinued part), hence lg will replace the refrigerator or return the invoice value. Post that there is no update from anybody.

                            Hence i called again customer care on 15th march 2018. That time another service request registered for me. The request number is rnp[protected]. For this request i got an update from service agent that i will get 55 percent of invoice value only due to 3 and half years old.

                            Why should i bear 45% loss due to a part discontinued from lg?

                            And the condition to get the 55% i have to buy again lg product. How can i trust lg product anymore? What if the same problem arises in another 3 years? Lg expects their customers loose 50% every 3 years.

                            I am not asking for a replacement. I just requested for a repair service. How can you expect your customer to bear a loss because lg stopped a spare part support.

                            Is lg cheating their customer?

                            And moreover you are giving 10 years warranty for compressor. What is the use it if only the compressor is working and other parts are discontinued by lg.

                            Is it fair to treat your customers?

                            Attention consumers...
                            Please don't go for lg products, which will end you up with this problem in 3 years.

                              I bought a top loading washing machine in jan 18 from vijay sales gurgaon of lg brand, this is 9 kg top load fully automatic, the machine doesn't spin properly causing the clothes to be wet all the time. I have complained many time to lg engineer comes but no solution it's under warranty but they are not willing to change the machine. I have compliant to them but they are not listening. All consumer beware of this company bad product and service

                                I have a lg lcd tv (42 inches) which is covered for household insurance by new india assurance coy (Sector 18 noida branch) the tv broke down in may 17. The breaking down of the lcd tv was reported to lg franchise, h-159, sector 63, noida-201301, who gave an estimate of repairs as rs 18521. The estimate of repair was forwarded to the new india assurance coy, sector 18, noida branch, through a formal letter dated 15 may 17. The insurance coy detailed mr mittal, the surveyor of the company, to deal with the case. This estimate was signed by one mr nanak chaudhary who claimed that he was the authorized signatory of lg franchise. Mr mittal arrived on intimation by me that lg franchise has given the estimate. Since mr mittal is too old to open & handle the inspection of the tv, the lg service engineer was called who opened the tv and showed mr mittal the defective components on tv. Mr mittal took photographs of the defective parts & of the tv and approved that i may proceed with the repairs of the tv. Lg franchise was there after informed & their service engineer carried out the repairs by replacing the defective parts. The lg franchise service engineer collected the repair charges of rs 22531.25 & delivered the bill signed by mr nanak chaudhary, the authorized signatory of lg franchise. Mr mittal was informed who visited my house & wanted inspection of the repaired tv in the presence of the service engineer of franchise of lg. The franchise of the lg was informed who sent the service engineer. Mr mittal inspected the repaired tv in the presence of the service engineer of lg franchise who again helped mr mittal to check the working of tv & showed him the defective parts replaced by him. Mr mittal was satisfied & collected all the papers. He however said there is no need to collect the defective parts. He did not raise any objection on any parts of repairs including the bill.

                                4. There after mr mittal raised certain objections on the bill which i subsequently raised with the franchise of lg. I do not know what transpired between mr mittal & the franchise of lg that they are totally silent even after collecting the full payment. As per the insurance coy, lg franchise has declined to accept that the bill given to me by service engineer as theirs. My all out efforts to contact lg franchise has failed because they are not responding. I am at a loss because insurance coy is insisting on a regular bill from lg. After fighting all fronts, i have decided to appeal to you for solving my problem. It is possible that a fraud has been created by some one at the lg franchise office & i am the victim.

                                  I've bought lg inverter split ac on mar 27th 2016 for 45500 inr and installed on april 14th 2016 (Paid 3500 inr other than basic installation cost).

                                  Till 2017 july it was working fine. And we stopped using the ac since summer was completed. Then one fine day in november 2017 we switched on the ac and it was not running. I was registered a complaint against the same.

                                  The service engineer visited the home multiple times and took nearly a month and not able to find the problem. Finally they taken both indoor & outdoor units to the service center and came back after a week saying like there was a outdoor fan motor failure. So i agreed to pay for the same part and at the same time they told to replace the ac gas as well and i paid 8500 inr for the same service.

                                  And the same installation was very very poor and shouted at the service engineer like anything. It was not even closed the outdoor unit connecting wires.

                                  I thought this is it, it will work fine. After a month i like to use the ac and it was not giving cooling at all. Again i was registered a complaint, they visited and said like gas was not there and they refilled it. Within a week the same was happened and same happened, they refilled again.

                                  And within a week it was giving same result. Here i've decided to switch to personal ac mechanic what is happening with my ac.

                                  They clearly mentioned like ac installation was very poor, no proper fairing of ac pipes, total outdoor unit was damaged.

                                  Now it is in situation like there is leakage in the outdoor unit (Not in the connecting pipes).

                                  I've complained multiple times through the toll free number and they have given branch manager number ([protected]). I've called the same person and explained the same problem, he told he will check with his team about this service request but he didn't turned back to me. I've reminded him multiple times but no response from him.

                                  So totally i've paid 57500 inr for the 2 years life time. But still its not in running condition.

                                  My main question about the last service are:

                                  1. Don't your authorized service center have a skilled staff to find the defect, why they took one month time?

                                  2. For changing the outdoor unit fan motor, why they need to touch the gas part? There is no connection between these two parts in my point of view?

                                  3. Even though i've paid the same quoted amount and the gas leakage was happened 3 times, why they had not given any permanent fix?

                                    Last week i bought air conditioner from flipkart. I always buy only our brand lg bz of good customer service. But this time i had a very very bad experience. I bought lg ac. After installation the product not working bz of defective in the product. I ask the replacement but from your end no proper response till now, if i ask they simply telling you ask seller. I don't see seller. I believe the brand that's the reason i bought lg.in the brand new product not working. Even till now no response. This is summer thats y i bought. Now without ac my kids facing issues in the night. Kindly resolve the issue. Else i filled the complaint consumers court

                                      I bought an lg brand double-door refrigerator from your showroom on (31/03/2017) in tohana distt fatehabad haryana. The model no. Is gl-u372jhsl/2016 gross volume 335 liters but i regret to say that i have received a call from lg service care centre for feedback of my service of refrigerator.

                                      I want to clear most important thing ie. I have not put any complaint regarding the above mentioned refrigerator. When i gave the feedback over the phone than your service executive said it's hope your friend or any family member done the complaint so i confirmed from all nobody have put the complaint. Above mentioned refrigerator is totally brand new and no part was changed by engineer also not visited at my address.

                                      When i called to lg toll free number than the executive said i have got the service in january 2018 and service man changed some part of my refrigerator.

                                      I think a full group involved in this wrong service against my refregrator.

                                      Therefore, i would request you to advise me immediately as to what i should do in the matter otherwise i will put the complaint in media also.

                                        I was unfortunate to order an lg airconditioner with model no lg js-q 18wtxd (1.5 tr split ac) at t v house alleppey kerala. It was verbally ordered. After one week, the shop owners supplied me an a. C. With no js-q 18 ruxa about three days back. The shop owner had collected the installation charges and the two boys sent by them had installed the a. C.. Ever since installation, i cannot use it as when put on, it makes cracker like sounds, also while put off.
                                        My first complaint is that i didn't get the actual product i had ordered.
                                        Second is that though the ordered one was not supplied, the supplied one is scary as it works as if crackers while on and off position.
                                        Kindly get my grievance redressed by replacing the ac js-q18ruxa with js-q18wtxd.
                                        An early action is solicited.
