[Resolved] LG Electronics — Poor - Air conditioner service | |||
I bought a LG AC 2 years back - LSA5MR3T. It stopped working 2 weeks back and started flashing CH 10 on the LCD display. I tried reaching [protected] repeatedly but was not able to reach customer support for Air Conditioners. I directly contacted the LG Best customer service in 9th cross street, Anna Nagar, Chengalpattu - 603001. The technician visited my place and inspected the AC- 26th May 2014.It took him 1 week to get the spare - a PCB - 31 May 2014. It did not solve the problem as the blower motor was the actual cause.It took 1 more week to get the blower motor - 7th June 2014. An AC motor was ordered wrongly instead of a DC motor. It is already 2 weeks since the problem started. It is frustrating to see my 1 year old son struggle to sleep with no AC in the hot summer. It is a shame that LG serves its customers so badly. I am clueless when the spare part will arrive and whether it will solve the problem. Was this information helpful? | |||

Why is LG customer service so pathetic?
Is a spare not available for a repair even after 3 weeks?
I want a replacement of my AC which I bought with my hard earned money if I cant repair it.
Otherwise LG should advertise that LG AC will work only for 1 year and no repairs are possible after that.
LG is misleading people.

One of the worst customer service experience that I have faced in my life.
Even after 1 whole month, my LG Air conditioner is not serviced yet.
The unacceptable answer from LG customer care is that the spares are not available for my AC!
I am seriously thinking of filing a legal case against LG.
