To Whom So Ever Concerned.Myself Ramzan Solanki residing at Vasai West (Thane) and My Complaint is regarding Constant HIGH ELECTRICITY BILL by MSED (Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company).Over the Last few years i have been following up with MSED service men to fix or to investigate high bill issue, But no one is taking responsibility to investigate instead i have always been asked to pay the bill and if not many a times have also been THREATENED for cutting off the ELECTRICITY if not paid.There were few service men who investigated the meter and the house to check the possible reasons for high bill and finally i was suggested to change the HOME WIRING and FEW HOME APPLIANCES as they were old to consume more units, i certainly felt good about the reasons they mentioned and have some how managed to change the REFRIGERATOR and entire HOUSE WIRING hoping the bill would be as per usage.Nevertheless, The Meter was changed, few Home Appliances and entire house wiring was changed, but not the HIGH BILL, it was even more than before, i finally called the MSED call center to file a complaint few months ago, below are my complaints no.934268, 1213647, 1692966, 1829415 (Most Recent, spoke to MobeenAfter These Complaints i got a Bill of -1750 for the month of AUG 2014, I found very suspicious so i called up customer care and was informed it was due to High Bill complaint that i made, the Next Month i got a Bill of 110 INR, i called up again and was informed that all the future Bills would be adjusted in the High Bill issue Amount paid in the past.It was than the Most Horrifying Bill i got was for the months of OCT 2014 which calculated 10, 360 INR (1211 Units) which was the highest bill i have ever got. I work in a company where the working hours are not fixed, hence my Father Went to the Area Division office where he was told that the Amount of 10, 360 is the average of the last 3 bills, but they again said the difference amount will be adjusted in future bills, My Father have somehow managed to get it down to 7, 000 which still i cannot afford to pay.My Complaints is still not been answered and i am getting High Bill every alternate months with very minimal consumptions. Please take my request further and let us free from the High Bill and let us pay for what we use.     Consumer No[protected] Meter No[protected] Billing Unit-0329-Panvel I (Bhingari) Dear Sir/Madam, With reference to the above mentioned consumer no this is to bring to your notice that i have taken a shop at Mahalaxmi Shopping centre located at village-Nere, Panvel.Till date the said shop is not used by me nor i have installed any kings of electrical item like light, fan etc. Even after i have received a bill of Rs.1540/- which was due for payment till 14/11/14.Though i have paid the amount online on 11/11/14. I would request this good office to resolve verify the bill sent to me and arrange to send me the extra amount recovered from me.If not possible to refund the amount credit shall be given to me for adjusting the same in future.       I had registered my complaint regarding double payment today. One person called me saying that he is representing the concerned bank and said that they are sorry for this and would like to refund the excess bill paid. He took my ATM card no and other details and quickly withdraw money from my bank account. This was possible since this fellow got my contact details easily since all the complaints are displayed on this site. Request you to treat these complaints as confidential and do not display them for public consumption.

        It is very sad to say that in India still people not updated in a day with the online transactions done. I have paid my online bill on 2nd Nov Due date for which was 6th Nov and my Electricity was disconnected just because of the reason that they were not updated with the transaction done. When I called MSEDCL Toll Free Number to and told them my consumer number then they told me that the bill has already been paid on 2nd Nov but still I have to suffer full night without current. Customer care executives told me after my 5-6 calls that this will be resolved this problem in an hour but they didn't bother to respond to the complaint lounged. My mistake was I have paid bill online " LOL " if one is going to face problem after online payment then MSEDCL should stop this service of online bill payment because as always serve is down as per the information shared by one of the customer care executive after my follow ups. I would like to ask MSEDCL Authorised person who is going to pay for the mental stress i had gone through full Night from 7:25pm when I returned from job to 8:00am when i left for my job. After so many calls they told me that they don't have any of the Electricians number nor they don't know the address of the MSEB office in the asked area it was very surprising. These people don't know the contact number and address of the person whom they are going to send to resolve the problem then how they will get the things done from them very ill logical statement but was given by the executives. Not only this after my 3 call these people took my call as if its a comedy show they were laughing and making fun keeping phone on hold for 10-15mins. One of the executive gave assurance that I will get call within 5mins on my cell but unfortunately I didn't receive any call till date from them. People are suffering but no one cares for the same they work as they are trained to work in government company. Hope some action will be taken for the trouble I have faced without any reason.

          Theft of Electricity To, The Director. M.S.E.B. Sub:- Illegal Consumption of Electric supply. Sir, The undersigned complaint several times to the officials of M.S.E.B. including Mr. SDE & Mr. Line Man Contact no. [protected], [protected] (O[protected] against illegal use of power supply by person who constructed new house at Mankar Layout, Mahada Plot Opposite Sonba Nagar Khadgaon Road, Lawa Wadi, Nagpur PIN -440023, but no action has been taken. Now I am forced to inform with your esteemed office against above Personl. He is illegally consuming power supply every time while constructing big house since last 8-10 months. All marble, flooring, grillwork etc. are being carried out in large scale with illegal connection. Therefore, please look into this matter and probe thoroughly that how he could manage all construction activities without paying additional charges for electric supply from his home meter.             Sir, It is observed from the bills pertaing to my MSEDCL Consumer No.[protected]I066 that the billing has been very high since March 2014.Earlier billing was in the range of Rs.1500/= to Rs.1800/=, however since March the billing have increased to Rs.5000/= plus .Consumption has increased from average 250 units before March 2014 to 500 plus units after March 2014. I therefore request you to urgently look into the matter about tampering of the meter or fast running faulty meter or if some one is drawing current through my meter. Last year I was billed in one month Rs.40000/= plus due to billing without meter reading for many months resulting billing in higher slabs.correction took along time after gruelling followup and lacksdial attitude of staff at Kharghar Office. I therefore request you to urgently look into the matter before matter gets serious as I will not be able to pay the bills of Rs.5000/= plus every month.               I have a MSEB (Maharashtra State Electricity Board) electricity connection at my house located at the address given below, B4, Shantiwardhan Society, 2/15-16, Erandwana, Off Karve Road, Near Palande Couriers, Pune: 411004 Billing Unit: 4611 / Deccan Sub Div Consumer Number:[protected] The number of consumed units for Oct 2014 has come out to be "Too High" in spite of extremely moderate usage of electricity. I have been consistently getting the average units consumption in the range of 80 to 100 units. However, in the bill for Oct 2014, the units consumed are 168. Which a way too high. The units consumed in the previous month of Sep 2014 is 91 units only. I have only one person staying in this house and usage of electricity is very minimal. Please see below list for the electrical appliances that I have in this house, - 3 Tube Lights - 1 TV - 2 Fans (Mostly only one is running at a time) - Water heater/geyser (Used only once in a day for 1 bucket of hot water) - 1 Fridge - 1 Mixer (used very rarely) In spite of having very basic appliances and the usage been very minimal, I am wondering how come the units consumed get to so high in a month, where as the number is quite low for other months. Perhaps there is a problem with the installed meter or some problem with units calculation. I request MSEB should assign some official to look into this issue and fix the problem. However, I am certainly paying the bill that has been raised. But, the issue need to fixed as I am paying too much for the small amount of electricity requirement in this house.                 Dear Sir, I had applied for new connection in June 14, Meter was installed in August 14, Reason was meter not available, Accepted, Paid Sd amt and processing charges when estimate was given to me, Got consumer no[protected], Billing unite no 1702840 . After two moth's down the time not recived any bill, called up to customer care for reason, got confirmation, consumer no not register on any name, hence bill not created, and it will take three to six mth to get the bill . Just a question that why it will take three to six mth to get the bill, Executive was not aware any reason, hence inform to cross check with Senior, she get back with the answer, even senior is not aware Ms Tarannum. Even it is government organisation, we accept something good logical reason for same .Why it will take three to six mths to get the bill . Hope will get the logical answer for the same .                   I am shifted from June 2014 from Diva to Ambivali (Kalyan). My house had closed from June 2014. After July 2014 I get electricity bill Rs. 350.00/-, meter reading showing Faulty, and after that the I have get high every month. I am very upset about this matter.                   In this bill, Current Reading is mentioned as 250, whereas Previous Reading is 1.

                  And for last two electricity bills, i.e. for MAR-15 and FEB-15, it was showing current and previous reading 1, although I am charged for units 50 and 78 respectively.

                  If I am already charged for units 50 and 78, that means 128 units, then for this months' bill, I should be charged for 250-128=122 units only.

                  Please make the necessary changes.

                  Incorrect Meter Reading

                  In spite of complaining about incorrect meter reading there is no action been taken, they say bills will get revised but still we get high bills, kindly assist and resolve this issue

                    This has been a major problem faced by the people of Ambernath that no precautions has been taken for the load shedding issue and more Over there is no time for the MSEB guys to cut the power supply. Let it be any season there is no previous notification about the load shedding. Even if we try to contact the MSEB office there is no response for our calls. Also one can manage in a day time.but what about d power cut at night with no response for calls. Today (21/10/2014) there was a power cut at 2.30am and yet now at 6am no one to even answer the calls. Is it that the people should misbehave at the MSEB office and only then will such issues will be taken care off. Its not that each and every family has an inverter in their house there are small kids who get most affected due to this situation. The electricity bills has never fallen down so there should not be such problems. At least if somone can just stop such issues to take place or let Reliance take over MSEB any how we paying high let we get the service for what we pay...

                      Hello, My LT account no is[protected] under sb unit 4745 - Hadapsar Junction.I am having the current month bill for Rs 1390. I have made online payment on Oct 15, 12:26 PM using your server. I got a message at the end of transaction saying that "Transaction cannot be verified" and asked to check online payment history after 15 minutes. Meanwhile i got a confirmation from my credit card provider saying that the amount of Rs 1390 has been deducted by Mahadiscom. I have waited for almost 3 days and checked the online payment history again, so far its showing as payment pending. Kindly investigate this and let me know if the payment has been made successful. The email id provided in website is not working. I am getting failure notice. Thanks Balaji.

                      I am having the current month bill for Rs 190. I have made online payment on December 13, 01:02 PM using your server.
                      I got a message at the end of transaction saying that "Transaction cannot be verified" and its asked to check online payment history after 15 minutes.
                      Meanwhile i got a confirmation from my debit card provider saying that the amount of Rs 190 has been deducted by Mahadiscom.Kindly investigate...

                          Dear Sir, I am omprakash yadav, my electric meter connection is in the name of my father shri. ramvilash yadav.. i am staying in gokul nagar, room no - 11, ganesh galli, nr. veer bajrang vyam shala, thane (w), there are some cable wires from main board which passes thru my house, all these connection are given by mseb thane to almost 10 people & i dont know whether it is legal or not but all the main cable wires are not covered properly, unfortunately i got an electric shock on 28.09.2014 in the mid day, fell unconscious for almost 5 minuts. plz do something to avoid any unfortunate incident.                                 विषय – वीजमंडळ अधिकारी श्री घरटे वं संबंधित महावितरणचे ठेकेदार यांनी माझ्यावर वं परिवारावर आणलेल्या प्राणहानी होणाऱ्या संकटाबाबत. बर्याच वर्षापासून प्रत्येक सटाणा परिसरात जैसे थे असलेली उच्च दाब क्षमतेची ११ के व्ही . ची टॉवर/इलेक्ट्रिक लाईन गेलेली आहे . हे इलेक्ट्रिक उच्च तारेचे खांब अनेक वर्षा पासून जेव्हा शेती होती तेव्हा पासून आहेत . जसजसा काळ बदलत गेला तसतशी मानवी वस्ती वस्त गेली नंतर शहरीकरण झाले. वं जेथे वस्ती होती तेथे प्लोट पडून बंगले वं कॉलनी निर्माण झाल्यात . तशी ही ११ के व्ही उच्च दाब क्षमतेची लाईन माझे घराचे बाजूचे ३०० मीटर पुढे असलेल्या चौकातून असलेल्या रिकाम्या प्लोट(जो हल्ली तोवर लाईन असलेमुळे विकला जात नाही ) मधून पुढे गणपत नगर येथे गेलेली आहे . या इलेक्ट्रिक लाईनी मुळे आजपर्यंत परिसरात मोठमोठे गंभीर अपघात होऊन मानवी प्राणहानी वं त्या खाली संपर्कात येणाऱ्यांना अपंगत्व आलेले आहे .आणि या बाबत वीजमंडळाकडे वं सटाणा पोलीस स्टेशन येथे दप्तरी नोंद देखील झालेल्या आहेत . ज्या लोकांनी इलेक्ट्रिक लाईन असतांना ह्या इलेक्ट्रिक लाईनी खाली स्वस्तात प्लोट मिळालेत म्हणून बांधकाम केलेते त्या संबंधितांनी वं सदर प्लोट व्यावसाईक खरेदी विक्री करणाऱ्या टोळी ने देखील शासनाकडे भरपूर पाठपुरावा केला, आंदोलन, मोर्चे चा ही उपद्व्याप केलाय आणि ही देखील सर्व नोंदी दप्तरी आहेत . ३ वर्षापूर्वी हीच टॉवर इलेक्ट्रिक लाईन काढणे साठी शासन दरबारी काही होत नाही म्हणून मागील दाराने जाऊन ... आता ज्या पद्धतीने ही इलेक्ट्रिक लाईन काढण्याचा प्रयत्न केला या पद्धतीने तसा प्रयत्न देखील केला होता . परंतु मा. न्यायालय ...सटाणा यांनी त्यावर Stay Order देवून स्थगिती दिली अशी आज पूर्ण परिसरात ही चर्चा आहे . मी मालेगाव येथे नोकरी करतो मुले शाळेत असतात पत्नी घरी नसते त्यामुळे घरी कुणीही नसते हे पाहून ६-ऑगष्ट -२०१४ रोजी सटाणा येथील महावितरण च्या ठेकेदाराने एवढे मोठे खांब आणून सिमेंटमध्ये गाडून तारा वगैरे फिरवून रिकाम्या असलेल्या प्लोट मधील तारा काढून सदर लाईन फिरवून मी रहात असलेल्या माझ्या हद्दीत ११ के व्ही इलेक्ट्रिक लाईन बसवून झटपट कार्यवाही केली . सायंकाळी माझी पत्नी आलेनंतर हा प्रकार पाहिल्या नंतर त्यांना अडविले तर तुमच्या हद्दीत नाही . बाजूला आहे वाटल्यास टोकर लावून पहा . शेवटी मी आल्यानंतर संबंधित अभियंता श्री घरटे यांचे कडे गेलो तर त्या दिवशी शनिवार आणि दुसऱ्या दिवशी रविवार ...साहेब घरी गेले सोमवारी भेटतील असे सांगण्यात आले. म्हणजे एकंदरीत सर्व नियोजित होते हे माझ्या लक्षात आले . नंतर मी संबंधित वार्डातील नगरसेवक यांना दाखवीले तर त्यांनी सांगितले की भाऊ आपल्या गावात ७ खांब मंजूर झालेत लाईट गेली की सर्व ठिकाणी वीज बंद करून काम करावे लागत होते पण आता तसे होणार नाही ... जेथे काम करायचे आहे तेथेच फक्त बंद करावे लागेल म्हणून हां खांब उभारला आहे . आणि येथे Cutout बसविणार आहेत . पण तरीही मला काही तरी कुठे चुकल्या सारखे वाटत होते . मी सोमवारी रजा टाकून नगरपरिषद सटाणा येथे चौकशी केली असता ... असे काहीही नाही ... असे सांगण्यात आले .. वं आज एक महिन्या नंतर एक ही खांब गावात बसविनेत आलेला दिसून आलेला नाही हे विशेष . त्यानंतर मी सविस्तर अर्ज घेऊन महावितरण ... मुख्य शहर कार्यालय ..सटाणा येथे गेलो तर तेथील वं फिडर कार्यालयातील मुख्य वं उप अभियंता हे दोन्ही ही पदभार /चार्ज श्री घरटे साहेब यांचे कडे असल्याचे समझले . मी पुन्हा घरटे यांचे कार्यालयात गेलो . त्यांचेशी या बाबत सर्व चर्चा केली सर्व समजावून सांगितले परंतु त्यांनी सांगितले ठीक आहे मला प्रत्यक्ष काय परिस्तिती आहे हे जागेवर आलेवरच पाहून सांगता येईल . तो पर्यंत मी काहीही सांगू शकत नाही . तसेच त्यांना विचारले की आपणाकडे असे काही आदेश आले आहेत का ? की ११ के व्ही इलेक्ट्रिक खांब एका ठिकाणा वरून दुसरीकडे हलवायचे ... परंतु या बाबत त्यांचे कडे काहीही उत्तर नव्हते . आणि आज ही त्यांचे कडे या बाबत काही ही उत्तर नाही . त्यानंतर मी थोड्या वेळात ठेकेदाराला घेऊन येतो असे सांगितले परंतु ते येण्याची चिन्हे काही दिसेना म्हणून मी त्यांना फोन आणि मेसेज ही केलेत. शेवटी सायंकाळी ६ वाजता ते आलेत . त्या वेळी वार्डाचे नगरसेवक श्री राजेंद्र सोनवणे यांना देखील मी बोलावून घेतलेले होते .यावेळी त्यांनी तसेच ठेकेदाराने पूर्ण परिसर नकाशा घेऊन परीक्षण वं निरीक्षण केला आणि सांगितले की तुमचे म्हणणे बरोबर आहे. आणि ठेकेदाराला आदेश दिलेत की हां खांब काढून दुसरीकडे टाक ...मला सांगितले की आजच्या आज नाही होणार हे भारनियमना च्या काळातच होईल वं ८ दिवसात होईल .; परंतु आज महिना झाला मी चकरा मारतो आहे, माझा मुलगा चकरा मारतो आहे त्यांना काहीही फरक पडलेला दिसून येत नाहीये . मी ४-९-२०१४ रोजी पुन्हा त्यांना स्मरणपत्र दिले परंतु माझ्या अडचणीची काहीही दखल घेतली जात नाही . मी मालेगाव वं नाशिक येथील वरिष्ट कार्यालयास सटाणा कार्यालयास दिलेल्या अर्ज, नकाशा यांचा email देखील केलेला आहे . माझ्या सारख्या चाक्र्मान्याने भविष्यात परिवार सुखी व्हावा, आयुष्यात पै पै जोडून, अडचणी सहन करून सर्व कर वेळेवर भरून नियमातील प्लोट, बांधकाम करायचे .आणि जर जर आयुष्यात जीवावर संकट येणाऱ्या वं फसवणूक होणाऱ्या गोष्टी घडणार असतील तर आमच्या सारख्या मध्यमवर्गीय परिवारांनी कुठे जायचे ... तरी माझी कैफियत मी आपणा पुढे मांडली आहे.. या उच्च दाब क्षमतेच्या इलेक्ट्रिक लाईन जी टाकली आहे ती नियमबाह्य असून माझ्या स्वतः च्या हद्दीतून टाकलेली आहे आणि विशेष म्हणजे वीजमंडळा चे कोणते ही नियम त्यांनी विचारात न घेता हे काम केलेले आहे . आणि श्री. घरटे वं संबंधित ठेकेदार श्री दत्ता (पूर्ण नाव माहीत नाही ) यांनी पूर्णपणे बेकायदेशीर काम करून माझ्या परिवारास वं माझे रहाते घरास धोका निर्माण केलेला आहे .कारण या धोकादायक ११ के व्ही इलेक्ट्रिक लाईन मुळे अनेक धोकादायक घटना घडलेल्या आहेत त्यामुळे मला वं माझ्या परिवाराला देखील केव्हा ही या पासून काहीही दुर्दैवी घटना होण्याची शक्यता नाकारता येत नाही हे मात्र नक्की . आणि जर दुर्दैवाने काही अपघात किंवा दुर्घटना घडली तर संबंधित पूर्णपणे जबाबदार रहातील . कारण लाईन टाकणे नंतर तिसरे चं दिवशी त्याच ठिकाणी स्पार्किंग होऊन पूर्ण परिसरातील लाईट गेली होती . तरी माझी तक्रार नोंदून योग्य ती कार्यवाही आपणा मार्फत व्हावी ही आपणास विनंती आहे . तरी आपणास पुन्ह्च्य कळकळी ची विनंती की मला आपणा कडून न्याय द्यावा की जेणे करून महावितरण चे प्रशासन जागे होईल

                                वीजमंडळ अधिकारी श्री घरटे वं संबंधित महावितरणचे ठेकेदार यांनी ही जी ११ के व्ही उच्च दाबाची लाईन चुकीच्या पद्धतीने टाकली याबाबत त्यांना वं संबंधितास अर्ज तसेच स्मरणपत्र देऊन ही अद्याप त्यांनी त्यावर एक ओळीचे खुलास तसेच याबाबत काहीही कार्यवाही केलेली नाही .
                                यांनी या चुकीच्या पद्धतीने कामाने दिनांक १३ सप्टेंबर २०१४ रोजी मोठा अनर्थ घडून आला . वेळीच सदर परिवार बाहेर मैदानावर आलेमुळे त्यांचे प्राण वाचले . त्याचे दैनिक सकाळ मध्ये आलेले वृत्त सोबत छायाचित्र ...

                                  I am very much frustrated with the service given by MSEB. No one is bothered about the things are going on in the Diva Sub Shil MSEB office no one is there to listen our problems. From last 8 months we are complaining about the light bill to MSEB Diva Shil office but everyone is busy in doing their personal work and asking to go to next counter itself. The amount of bill is very high which we could not afford and which is not at all used by us. A 4 person family using 3 Tubes, 2 Fans, Freeze, Washing Machine, TV Etc should be billed more or below 1000/- which can understandable. But if the bill comes Rs. 80, 000/- which is something serious and need to be worry. Please take this up with your high authority and solve the problem at the earliest before your person come and cut our meter. One more thing I want to highlight here the bill is coming on different meter (Pic shown in Bill) and the Units counts as same as previous where as our meter is working properly.                                     I am an NRI, my house is closed since April 14, connection has been temp disconnected, However I am still receiving monthly bill of 1800rs per month for the past 4 months. I have sent service request/complaint against wrong billing but no action has been taken so far. Worst thing I arranged my bro in law to visit MSEB office and one staff asked 300rs bribe to solve the issue. Unfortunately I am not India to take the matter to higher authorities. Please advise where to address this issue. Each month I cant pay 1800rs+ bill for no reason. Please help, Corruption is pathetic and not good for the society. Can we expect clean India. I don't mind who is ruling the country, but please address Corruption before it gets worst, and destroy common man's life. I am available for any clarification/information required on this matter.                                       It is noticed that frequently interrrupted supply at Kusgaon, BK, Lonavala division, Pune, but frequently call also not entertained by the responsible officers, just keeping on hold. Is there anybody who is really interested to sort out issues in long term, so company will get revenue and consumers will be service. Load shading can be understand, but not frequently in everyday, fix some time, so consumers can adjust themselves accordingly. If a call centre, or office repspond, then only reason show that cable fault, How many times cable fault ? Is each feet cable is having joint? What officers and staff are there for? just to warm chair, get, bribe for each and every service, just like they dont get salary, If like this then why consumer should pay Electricity bill?
