Dear Sirs, Re :Consumer no[protected] Erratic billing for past 5 years and the current bill dt 25/06/14 for Rs 68690, including Rs 17, 157 towards the current cycle We refer to our earlier communication dated July 7, 2014 and June 25, with MSEB Officials at Nerul, pointing out that the complaint has to be treated differently – that is as a consistently erratic billing history for the past five years. There is certainly something beyond what is obvious–things like wrong meter or high meter reading on account of wiring etc. We have, however, made the payment against the bills, under protest. There is significant increase in the consumption shown – from an average of 300 units in[protected] to 600 units in 2011-12 to High billing of 1500 units for June 2015. Our lifestyle has changed to warrant five- fold increase in consumption.! 600 units in April may be taken given the necessity to solve the issue somehow but 1242 units in May and 1510 units in June are atrocious! We have been consistently reporting the problem but the problem persists. Kindly get to the root of this issue and let us resolve it together . Please do not insist on payment of further bills till the problem is resolved, as a middle class family cannot bear such burden. To begin with, kindly have the meter reading checked immediately and get to the root of the problem and treat the amount deposited as deposit.     Respected sir,

    My meter no. '[protected]', my billing unit='4652'. Since last one year we have been charged on an average unit of 200 but on july 2014 bill shows the unit has been consumed by me was 268.

    I use only 2 fans, 4 tube lights, one refrigirator, one washing machine, and one microwave oven every day.

    Every month i used to get bill for the amount of rs. 900/- but this month i got a bill for rs. 1650/-.

    By enquiring further all our building units have got such a exorbitant bills this month. Kindly look into the matter as early as possible.

          Power cuts have really started getting on the nerves here in Balewadi, Pune.. There are major power outages happening every second day and in the midnights too. MSEB Pune is really disgusting. What the hell are they doing? Pathetic rascals!

            Disruption of power supply. My consumer no is [protected].(Name : ramesh kamath).I am staying at suvidha-a/10, manisha nagar, kalwa-400605. Yesterday power supply was very inadquate-very dim.Power supply completely stopped yesterday night at 10pm onwards and till 1pm today power supply not been resumed. No sleep/no water. Their customer care tel nos are farse, useless, only kills consumer's time, money and patience. Today morning from 8.00am to 9.30am, i tried those nos, but got only rining sound.Just my bp gone up. I feel there is no accountability in the company.If power supply is not resumed within few hours, concerned officer should be terminated from service. I agree to pay 5% of my bill, as extra to msedcl if there is no single power cut. Similarly, msedcl must fix accountability on their staff and impose penalty on them if power cut goes beyond one hour.There should be a system detailing reason for the power cut.These power cuts are very common in kalwa each month.If the management is able to stop power theft or not able to stop these constant power cuts, then management is inefficient and i feel they are also part of these thefts or fruads.Please priviatise these power supply contracts.This stops wasting my money / public money.

            i have to check for the result of my lodged complaint. then only i can give my comment. Please rectify one small error made in my complaint in the last but one sentence in which i have written "IF THE MANAGEMENT IS ABLE TO STOP POWER THEFT... OR FRAUDS." HERE PLEASE CORRECT THE SENTENCE AS "IF THE MANAGEMENT IS UNABLE TO STOP POWER THEFT...OR FRAUDS".

            i hope that you will make my complaint effective and if it is done so, definitely i appreciate and also convey my opinion in my friend's circle

              Useless MSEB have made it more worse in Balewadi, Pune.. There are voltage fluctuations & voltage phase (1 out of 3 phases suddenly goes off) issues since last few days... Are the MSEB Pune officials even educated? I highly doubt! Voltage phase issues can damage the appliances/devices... Disgusting!

                Almost every day there is power cut and that is also in night. Cant they do it in day time. Does they know the effects sleepless night spoil whole day as well cause to increase in robbery and train accidents which cause due less rest. Students getting late for school . People who suggest power cut at night taking SUGAR sleep in Ac with inverter. They never see how electricity getting waste when street lights are on during day time. Power getting wasted in their party offices.is it a democracy?

                  There is no power for last 4 hours .. It is 4 am in the morning at the time of writing this complaint.. The power cuts during midnight and early morning in balewadi have been really disturbing..Are the useless Mseb officials even concerned??????

                  Disgusting! Shame on you MSEB Pune Officials... Its a marathon, the power is still not restored in Balewadi. It's been 14 hours without power now.. What explanation you have now? The MSEB Pune officials don't even have the decency to talk with the people.. Shameless retards!
                  Were you guys(MSEB) sleeping before the rains started? Why there were no precautionary measures taken to avoid such a major power outage? Bloody worthless donkeys.

                    My complaints are not being resolved on time and we have to stay without electricity even during night.
                    Also the main 3 phase panel is open to people and many bad elements remove the
                    fuse for troubling others.Also many people steal electricity by direct hook and by bypassing meters
                    during night time at Village:Rai, and other nearby villages but no action is taken because i think Mahadiscom
                    employees take money for this.

                    Almost every day there is a problem of Phase out (electric power is not available from yesterday around 8pm, approx. from last 16hours) at Rai, Dahanu (My Consumer Number is[protected] BU 4160 DAHANU S/DN).
                    Kindly check the complaints statistics for this area.

                    Also So many people steal electricity in Dahanu Area. i think (also heard this from many people) Mahadiscom Employees have settings with many small and medium industry (3 phase lines), hotels and agriculture 3 phase lines to ignore the electricity theft. Many times they caught people stealing electricity by direct hook in our village but i think they were realeased after getting money and still i think many people are stealing electricity in this area.

                    Kindly look into the losses (ACTUAL SUPPLY and CHARGED SUPPLY) in this area which will reveal the corruption and electricity theft in this area. I think the loss should be recovered from Corrupt employee's salary.

                    Also road light is not available in our area.

                        Power supply disconnected yesterday noon when no body was at home, when we return at 0900pm. I registered complaint at local office but they refused to attend the fault during night. Whole night family suffer badly without electricity. Last bill received two days before and due date is 16/07/2014. Consumer No.[protected]. Department Action may be initiated against concern staff.

                            I received a bill over Rs.1.5Lakh because of the wrong reading taken by the electricity office and the issue is not resolved even after 4 months.

                            (Reading 13595 was written in stead of 0003). I submitted the verification report and then a B80 request was raised on 24 Apr 2014 by Kalewadi office. (Consumer Number:[protected] BU/Circle Code: 4636 - SANGHVI SUB-DN. Cr. B80 Rev ID 445046 and Rev ID 447863.)

                            However I hear from the local office that the request is still pending and the same arrears of above 150000 are showing in my bill even after 4 months.

                            Request you to take a look and resolve this issue. There is no consumption of this flat because we have not started living there yet.

                              Hi, I am Poonam Thadani . My parents bought house from owner 20 years ago . We are getting utility bill by previous owner name . My dad tried to get in touch with many people to change the name but no one helped us. Now my dad passed away 2 years a go . I visited to Electricity office & collected all require documents to change the name while submitting they denied to collect those documents stating that name change is not possible in our area. I did not understand the issue why they are saying like this . We have requested a lot but no one helping please some can look into this matter to help us . Please reply back ASAP ..                                 1)MSEDC billed me for 172 units and the meter reading was 173Units and the previous reading was Unit for the Month of February2013. 2) Subsequent months up to the month of April 2014 MSEDC had been billing on an Average basis based on this 172 Units stating that the Meter No 2089035 is faulty, 3) The Bill for May 2014 is based on the meter reading which was shown as 1650 Units and after deducting the previous reading of February 2013 of 173 units for 1477 Units for Rs 16508/-. 4) This means that I have been bill ed for February2013 to May 2013, ignoring all the payments of Rs 15250/- paid by me based on Average Basis. 5) The billing is incorrect, and give credit for Rs 15250/- paid by me during the period

                                  The electricity situation in Balewadi, Pune is getting worse day by day as now the power cuts happen at midnights too, for nearly 2 hours. This is shameful of MSEDCL. Looks like the condition is only going to get worse.. I wonder what the officials do... Are they even qualified to work over there???? The situation is really horrible and is so disturbing for the residents... I would strongly recommend against staying in Balewadi, unless there is a proper power back-up provided by the society. The electricity is pretty unstable (voltage trips) here and power cuts can happen literally at any time.. at dawn, morning, afternoon, evening, nights, midnights, anytime!!! and that too for over 2 hours... On an average there is a power cut of around 6 hours every 2 days. I know this complaint won't make any difference to the ignorant MSEDCL officials.. But I write this out of sheer frustration and hope that more and more sensible & literate people read this.

                                    I have to lodge a complaint against MSEB. I had called on its toll free no. [protected] to lodge a complaint of power cut in a phase of our apartment, since 3 hours. But when I called on the no. and entered my 12 digit Consumer no., the recorded answer I received was "it is an incorrect no., and your call is being transferred to our customer care executive" but I kept waiting on hold for around 10 minutes and still there was no answer. I repeated the same waste of time process thrice, yet no result. Then i visited the nearest MSEB office at Ajni square, Nagpur. There nobody was ready to co-operate. They kept on saying that we cannot take any complaint here you will have to lodge the complaint only on the Toll free no. I told them that your Toll free service is not working properly so you just accept my complaint and do the needful for the power cut at my place. Still those people were not ready to do anything. Their boss Baburao Bhatkar (Jr. Engineer) who was the head of that branch office was not present their. When asked the other staff told me that Saheb round var gele ahe. Then i took his cell no. & called him to talk to him regarding my problem, so I could here the Television sound from the background which means he was probably at his residence and not on any official duty, leaving his Office premises during working hours. But this man spoke to me arrogantly saying that you have to lodge the complaint through the Toll free no. only then will I do anything otherwise not. When I said that now I will have to make a complaint against you because you are not co-operating in my power cut problem, so he raised his voice and said you want to complaint against me, go ahead give the complaint.
