Sir, We at Shantiban Co-Op housing Society limited, Narendra Ballal Marg, Near Castle Mill, , Thane (W) - 400 601 are not receiving bi-monthly bills before time. Due to wrong PIN. given in mailing address. Earlier bills were received well in time.. Our Chairman ( Mr. B. L. Morye ) visited your kind office on 10 Sept. 2014 at 13.45 hours with new filled forms for change in PIN.which were not received at your Customer Care.by stating that " They could not receive 35 forms at a time". You are kindly requested to look in matter that " why our change in address forms were not received and gave bad treatment to our Senior Citizen and Chairman of our society.     Dear sir/madam,
    Kindly note that my b p number is[protected] and my mahanagar gas connection was given on 05/04/2014 and gas supply was started on the same day. Since then no body from mgl visited my house for taking reading. My first photo reading taken on 23/08/2014 and i received message on my cell no [protected].For the amount of rs.2132 on 02/09/2014 which is wrong as the slab changes according to the consumption and period.

    As the reading was taken late may be due to my installation paper work was not done immediately my date of installation given is not correct.

    My installation date is 05/04/2014 hence billing should be accordingly done.As my consumption is only 48 units is from 05/04/2014.

      Our society had applied for a mahanagar gas connection almost 4 years back. All we have received are new deadlines for survey and laying of pipes. There has been no digging, no pipeline placement, no registration. If you go to the department or call customer care, they give you a reference number and ask you to follow up. FOUR years and no progress. What does one do

BP-[protected]. Meter No.10304700. Previous Reading -640 Closing reading-729 as per the bill of 01/06/2014 to 01/08/2014. As per the bill the meter reading is this but on my meter its 688 right now (ie.15th Aug 2014). And thus the bill is of 3428 which is far more than what it should be actually. Also no one from Mahanagar Gas had come to take the reading. The bill is prepared randomly. Please check it whatsoever the problem is and why such has happened. Such a mistake. Shame!

          I am a resident of a building society Andheri (W), Mumbai. My family and I have been staying at this residence since June 2013. Our MGL BP number is [protected]. Over the last year, the amount of charges we have been seeing on our bills has been abnormally high. Quick checks through the building (comprising over 500 apartments and families) have CONFIRMED that our charges are TWICE that of normal. Every month, a representative from MGL would come and present the bill, and we would have a prolonged discussion on why the bill amount is so high. Instead of escalating the problem for a quick resolution, several of these representatives threaten to cut the connection if the bills are not paid. They have even declared that MGL as a company will take NO STEPS to resolve our problem. We have therefore been arm-twisted, month after month, to pay these high bills to keep our connection alive. Over 2014, we have made MULTIPLE COMPLAINTS to MGL’s customer care. We have forced our collection guy, as well as the technician sent by MGL, to check our connection. Here are the possibilities they highlighted so far: • Our gas pipe is leaking – After hearing this, we have replaced the gas pipe a few months back at our own cost, but the problem continues. • We consume more gas than most families – Me, my wife and my little child are a small family of three, who actually use much LESS gas than most families in our building. • The meter is faulty – This has been verified by MGL's OWN TECHNICIAN and the collection guy, TWICE! They have informed us after testing in front o[censored]s that the meter reading moves much more quickly when the gas is on, compared to normal meters. So far, we have been forced to pay our bills. However, we have been away from our apartment for a full TWO MONTHS, in May and June 2014. Our gas bills continue to be huge! There has been NO RESOLUTION from MGL in this matter. We are NOT GOING TO TAKE THIS ISSUE LIGHTLY ANY MORE. MGL, as a consumer services company, NEED TO RESOLVE THIS by replacing/ fixing our meter by sending their technician ASAP. We choose not to be threatened by their collection guys every time. The extra amount paid by us is estimated at thousands of rupees from our hard-earned money, so I sincerely suggest that they take this up seriously. This is no way to treat their customers. I am now forced to consult a lawyer and go to consumer court. I have been assured by my building administration through the strength of 500+ consumers of MGL here, that they will fully support these next steps. I am eagerly looking forward to your support in helping me resolve this impasse. Arjun Ghose

            Good Day. I am in lot of trouble when it came in regards to the Mahanagar Gas Ltd BP [protected].I am a 60 years lady living with my husband mr Henry Pereira.I have got the gas connection from 2007 we are the regular payers for all the bills.Currently the Mahanagar gas has send us a bill of Rs 24, 523.00 for the last 7 months.They had just send us the bill last month also for Rs 23, 399.00.Being a couple in the house we dont cook much food how come we get a bill so high.When we already wrote 2 complaint letters and had send no resolvation done .The Meter was running properly ever time they were taking the reading and sending the bill we used to make the payment.Then in the month of August 2013 they told us that it was some technical problem in the meter and changed it after that we got a bill of RS 350 in August 2013 where we made the payment.Then for the next 7 months we did not get the bill but they were taking the reading we even told the meter reading people that we did not get the bill but no reaction.In the month of April 2014 they send us the bill of Rs 23, 399.00.I couldnt visit the office since i had gone out of town to my daughters place. When i came back and visited the Main office in Bandra on 3 July 2013 they mistreated me they were not ready to listen to me in the accounts department when asked to talk to the manager they themself call their collegue and spoke to me rudly stating themself as a manager.                 I have been facing the problem of mistaken identity while submission of bills from 3 months from now.
                I had submitted my phone no., photograph of my meter, and my email id in your office in bandra. But even thou subission of all details i don't recieve my own bills but a bill of the name BICHITRA DAS. I even recieve sms alerts to pay the bills of this person even your email sent to me has his name .
                I kindly request you to sort out this confusion as it is causing lot of trouble and any attempt of correction done on our behalf has yet not been considered by your authorities. I kindly request you to look into this matter and humbly approach you to provide a feasible solution.

                    What is this "COMPENSATION FOR SHORTFALL" charges? If customers don't consume piped-gas as MGL expects, do they have to pay compensation? Zabardasti charges? Like the Govt. zabardasti extracts service tax, this tax, that tax? tax tax tax. Please explain

                      My name is jeny shah, I have purchased a flat from mrs poonam jamthani at thane, solitaire tower, manpada, flat no 301 in the a wing, When I went to the thane branch to get the transfer done in my name, the lady guided me the set of documents to b attached, I submitted all the documents that she had mentioned, explaining her that the first owner of the flat was mr.kamlesh Nathani and the second owner mrs.poonam jamthani, her son mr, rajesh jamthani sold the flat to me with his power of attorney, So she said that I need an Noc from both the previous owners, which I have submitted . A week back I received a call from the bandra branch that my transfer was rejected, and they needed a direct Noc from the first owner in my name, My question is that if so required, why wasn't I informed earlier, and also that I have purchased the flat from POA holder mr, rajesh jamthani, who has given me the required Noc, Mr Kamlesh Nathani has given mrs.poonam jamthani the Noc and the POA holder mr rajesh jamthani has given me mrs jeny shah the Noc, Now, because of this my transfer is rejected and they called me to come to bandra branch, with direct Noc letter from mr kamlesh Nathani, whom I have not bought the flat from .also who stays in USA and I don't know the first owner, Kindly give me a solution for the same . Now the all things are done for others.I am still waiting since 6 months. My connection is not yet started.Please look in to this on urgent basis.                           I the undersigned have complaint for MGL, I am user of MGL PNG Gas service since many years, it has been observed Excessive and Over Billing. Bills have started coming Rs.2000+ which is alarming. When we were LPG user, 1 Cylinder used to serve for 1.5 months Issue needs to be addressed by MGL on priority, checking the Meter etc, to set right the over billing issue. Since October my bill are generated Rs .2000 /- we have take concern thing to near by office in thane Louiswadi, no co operation they suggested to check if leakage is there till march have paid more than Rs 10K . Pathecatic Service Now one more issue i have paid bill in march amounting Rs.2373 /- on date of 19th March 2014, MGL had sent bill with outstanding of previous bill the amount which i have mentioned above, to concern the same i have mailed to [protected]@mahanagargas.com .Request No 1859734, i have asked concern to consult, as i have provided bank statement copy [ payment success] on 8th May 2014, revert is below [ Dear Sir / Madam, This is an acknowledgment to the concern raised by your good self regarding online payment made against PNG bill for the month of February 2014. We have received your details of payment as mentioned in your e-mail, subject to verification. The content of your e-mail has been forwarded to the Dept. concerned & on receipt of feedback; the same shall be conveyed to your good self. Till such time we shall appreciate your continual support. We regret the inconvenience caused to you in the entire matter. Assuring you of our best services at all times. Your unique docket / complaint number is 1861460 against your Business Partner (BP) number for Piped Natural Gas (PNG) connection [protected].                             This is regarding a Purchase Order placed on an authorized dealer of Adidas for female sports shoes. We had placed an order on your authorized dealer M/s Nijhawan Travel Service Pvt. Ltd. (located at Shop No. 5 & 6, Swarah Rekha, Linking Road, Khar West, Mumbai – 400052) on 24.03.2014 for supply of 13 Pairs of Adidas Female Sports shoes. (PO attached for kind reference) Our representatives had visited the shop and chosen the design of the shoes to be ordered. A person from the shop visited our office at BKC with the size scale to note the sizes of the 13 pairs required. Advance payment of Rs. 52, 611.00 was made to the dealer on 07.04.2014 and the shoes were to be delivered on the day the cheque was realized. Accordingly the shoes were delivered on 14.04.2014. However, out of the 13 pairs delivered four were of the wrong size and one pair was defective. This was informed to the dealer on 14.04.2014 itself. But even after a follow up of more than 2 weeks there was no response from their side. On 03.05.2014 we were informed that the sizes which we required are not available with any one of their Mumbai stores. So for the same which they have put up a refill from their Delhi warehouse which is taking time. They requested for a few more days time to deliver the shoes. On 06.05.2014 we were informed that the replacement has been received. They were asked to deliver the shoes at the same address on the same day. Finally the replacement was received on 12.05.2014. However again it was found that out of the 4 pairs delivered, one box of shoes contained one shoe of size 6 and one of size 7. The dealer was again contacted, but they responded saying that their karagir (worker) is not available today and no fixed date was communicated. We fail to understand why a worker is required for shoe replacement. We regret to say that this kind o[censored]nprofessional service is not expected from an established brand like adidas. These shoes were to be gifted to our female employees who had participated in the women’s marathon as a token of appreciation. We have all reasons to believe that running for the marathon was far more easier than purchasing these shoes. After such service we are sorry to say that we will not be dealing with Adidas in future for any kind of purchases. We request you now to either replace the shoes with the correct size immediately or refund us the amount paid to you and take back all the pairs.

                              Dear Sir,

                              Mahanagar Gas Ltd has harassed me a lot for the PNG connection. They had taken my money first and after 3 month now they are denying to give me PNG connection by giving a crap reason that my neighbour is not allowing them to do their work. Now instead of taking action on the person who is not allowing them to do their work they are harassing me and not giving me PNG connection.
                              Their contractors are visiting my place frequently and forcing me to take refund whereas i have told them clearly that I want my PNG connection and not refund.
                              In my society they had already given PNG connection to rest of the society members and just denying me. I have a serious concern about it and doubt that mahanagar gas ltd.took bribe from my neighbour to stop the work of my PNG connection.
                              Mr. Bhavik Shah ( contact no [protected]) had visited my place and told that he will give me connection but after that no one turn up and my connection is still pending.
                              I request you to follow up and and help me to get my PNG connection and if they failed to give me PNG connection then I want compensation for all the harassment

                              Its none of my concern . If anybody doesn't want PNG connection it doesn't mean that you will not provide me the connection.

                              If he is not allowing you to do your work then you have to take appropriate actions and not me. Its not my responsibility.

                              You take GI Pipe by other way or do whatever you want. But you cannot just simply deny me for PNG connection because someone else is not allowing you to do your work.

                              I had already told you that i want my PNG connection and not the crap reasons.


                              Its just 2 days and then i will file a complain in the consumer court. The you give this reasons in the consumer court.

                                  I had requested for PNG at my residence in november 2012 and I had even submitted my cheque for the same cause(of Rs.6250) on 24/12/2012 and in november,2012 i was said the same would be done in 45-60 days but it dint happen so. i called a help line and a complaint no. of 1351771 was generated on 19/1/2013 and a new complaint of 1378961 on 19/2/2013. For my first call to help line on 28/3/2013 i was informed that m cheque was not passed and my pass book shows the cheque was encashed on 9/2/2013 and my request number there in was 1417287. The guy whom i called next time was named "ovaish sheikh" on 1/4/2013 who generated a new complaint /request no.1421476 an he said "within next 15-30 days job will be completed" next cal was with "manvel noronha" on 6/5/2013 and he just said "he will coordinate to service and let me know".but no response further. the next call was with "sunil sharma" on 9/5/2013 he said "it was under process". after 5 days,on 14/5/2013 i had talk with the same person,"ovaish sheikh",and he organised a call back from company on 14/5/2013 and it was from higher authority manger named "vicky sharma" and he gave a commitment "anyhow final date 20/7/2013 my connection will be done." on 16/9/2013 "mohin uddin" picked up the phone and arranged a call back and final date on 30th october and call back was about to be there in 48 hrs but that dint happen till today. whole building of ours has gas lines(10 flats from 12) but still our request is not being proceesed . please provide me with guidelines or should i visit a physical consumer court for this case?

                                    My connection request is getting continuously delayed by Mahanagar Gas Limited for last 6 months since application and have further asked me to wait for 2 more months. They have encashed my cheque in May and are extending deadlines on every month basis. This is despite the fact that society has a gas pipeline, and which is going right in front of my kitchen window. House is in Powai, Chandivali area BP no:[protected] 1st request after waiting for 4 months : Request no. 1547995 dated: 13 Aug 2013. Assured will get a connection by mid September. Call Dated: Sep 21, 2013, requested to check by Nov 21, 2013 On asking for giving a contact in higher up, customer care representative denied it. I am planning to reactivate my previous Bharat Gas cylinder connection, if such is a practice followed by these agencies. Please guide on : i) Higher up contacts email IDs before giving up on this company ii) Moneyback with legal options to make sure such companies do not fleece customers

                                    My name is Rose J Quadros & Patrick Quadrus applied for new Gas dtd[protected] bearing Cheue No 105372 and B.P.no[protected].I have made visit at your site office at Mira Road and my resident address as mention New Akashdeep Building, Flat No C/202 2nd floor Trivedi complex Mia station Rd. i had also visited your Kandivali branch with assurance of getting my connection in a week date visited was[protected] again on[protected], last visit was made on 16th Sept and it again promised by 19th sept 2013
                                    and again it was again said they are busy .i am really sorry to ask you whether i will get my connecton or no, if yes than can i get my final date for .
                                    Since 10 months i am just struggling going on and off to your Mira road customer office, how long i still have to wait my connection My contact No Mob.[protected] and [protected] .

                                      Gas line already available in the building. Landlord NOC submitted in March 2013. Got a confirmation email from [protected]@mahanagargas.com saying "As per the feedback received from the concerned department, would like to inform that your work would be done by 15.07.2013". No one turned up on 15th of July in spite of calling again and again. They just kept saying someone would come by evening.
                                      Today on 16.07.2013 when I call the customer care, they are saying due to rains it will be done in September. (In spite of the fact that it's been quite sunny from last 2-3 days).

                                      This is the level of efficiency at Mahanagar Gas and its really sad. If a concerned person is reading this, my request is to please look at this issue at an Urgent basis.
