Dear Sir/Madam,
Greetings for the day.
I had booked XUV 700 online vide your booking reference no. X75CE42E75E1.
However, due to unexpected financial constraints I had to cancel my booking. Following this I had placed requests for refund of booking amount number of times through email and through mahindra customer care. However, so far I have not received my booking refund .
It is therefore requested that the amount may kindly be refunded to me at the earliest.

    Engine of my car seized enroute Manali -delhi and I got my car towed on my personal expenses and my family also suffered .I gave my car in DM motors, Gurgaon on 17th oct where I was told that ur engine will be replaced as my car was in extended warranty .today is 20th November, almost 1 month and still no response from anyone .Being a lady I feel that the company is harassing me by not even giving any response to my repeated complaints .Company wants me to approach consumer court or go on social media platform for such kind of harassment I am facing .

      Not Repairing Car

      Hello, I purchased xuv300 from Harbir Automobiles Chandigarh on 16th August. Last month I met with minor accident and my left door got damaged. I gave them car on 27th October and they gave me 2 weeks estimate time. Then they called me after week and said the door is not available at Mahindra ware house so it will take few days more.       I had booked Mahindra XUV 300 from A.Automovers showroom, Near HAL Indranagar Lucknow(U.P). I paid Rs 11000/- as advance amount for booking and received the receipt for it. But because of delay in delivery I purchased another car and submitted cancellation application as well as original receipt at the showroom and requested for Refund. For past 20 days I am chasing for refund but the sales manager Aqueel Ahmed and Showroom manager Mr Aditya are making new excuses everyday. I request Mahindra Team to please help me in getting my amount of Rs 11000/- refunded asap.

          Myself Shri. Bhausaheb Eknath Athare, I am owner of Mahindra XUV500 W8 having registration number MH16 BM 7077, registered in January 2016 and my vehicle was running very well in last 5 & half years without any issue. However, in the month of July/August 2021, the servicing of my vehicle has done at Randhawa Motors, Kurla (E), Mumbai for which my vehicle was in the Randhawa Service Centre for about 1 month & during this period, we were informed that, one of my vehicle keys needs to be replaced with new one, for which about Rs.4, 500/- needs to be paid and accordingly we have paid the charges for new key on 2nd August 2021 itself for my vehicle at Randhawa Motors, & balance amount for coding only i.e. about Rs.1, 100/- needs to be pay after receipt of new key as informed by their representatives and one new key is ordered by Randhawa Motors.

          Afterwards, till October 2021, no one from Randhawa Motors contacted us for any update about this new key, hence we contacted them 4-5 times when they have told us that their key-coding staff is not available in service center. In last week of October 2021, representatives of Randhawa Motors told that, for key coding work about 2-3 hours required & come on 1st November 2021 at service center i.e. on Monday morning. Accordingly, we have handed over my Vehicle to Randhawa Motors, Kurla (E) along with both keys and we are supposed to pay the balance charges for coding only i.e. about Rs.1, 100/- to Rs.1, 200/- before delivery of my vehicle.

          But, they have neither given my vehicle back for last 19 days nor they are bothered.

          Now, they are insisting Rs.20, 000 - Rs.30, 000 for replacement of entire security system of my vehicle, since coding error is shown. But, why we should pay it, as there are no such issue earlier in my vehicle, how suddenly this issue arises..? There must be something fishy.. We are now concerned with this, as we have handed over my vehicle for new key only for which requisite payment of key has already made by us.

          During DIWALI festival I needed my vehicle for my personal tour for which, we have continuously followed (almost daily) with representatives of Randhawa Motors, however no one is responded properly.

          Their representative told us that, company will pay the charges of Rs.2, 000/- daily in DIWALI festival, since vehicle is not given back in time being it is their fault.

          Still, my vehicle is at Randhawa Motors, Kurla (E) for about 19 days since from 1st November 2021. There are highly chances that something fishy/suspicious things might have done or going on in my vehicle, because every time my vehicle needs about one month in service center, why we don't know...

          Sir/Mam, we are associated with Mahindra family since from 1980's and we have very much trust on Mahindra vehicles being INDIAN auto company. We have Mahindra Tractors (2 nos), Mahindra JEEP 550DI, Mahindra XUV 300 & this XUV500 in my family and we also thinking to buy newly launched XUV700.
          However, such type of service & harassment by service centre will definitely hamper image of M & M Ltd. Henceforth, we have to think twice while taking any decision...
          Sir/mam, kindly intervene & help us in this regards. We are hoping with your help at least, my vehicle will get us back immediately.. We are really suffering due to this Sir/mam...

                We booked the XUV-300 Aquamarin color (Autoshift-Petrol-NT) W-6 Model) mid of last month -Oct-21.
                At that time of booking, we got the information that the XUV-300 W-6 model has below car features -

                1. 60%-40% Split sheet
                2. Spoiler Inbuild with car
                3. Vanity mirror both sides with lamp
                4. Sunroof
                5. Hand-rest
                6. Hill Start Assist
                7. ESP with Roll-over mitigation
                8. Supervision Cluster with 8.89CM TFT Screen

                We got the information that some of the change has been done at the Mahindra end, How you people do frequent change in models of any car.
                That's why most people use to prefer foreign brand cars because how to trust on the brand don't know about it.
                Previously, I am a user of Honda and Toyota companies but they are very clear about their policy brand image but my experience with Mahindra is not good as for as this issue is concerned.

                How to trust the official information because Mahindra & Mahindra's official website also doest have right data about the car features & information.

There is nobody answered till today and the call just keeps ringing. A better responsiveness is expected from such a prestigious brand

                          I am writing this letter of complaint regarding my car service center. I have been using your service for 3rd time now for the maintenance of my mahindra Thar.
                          however, I am not pleased with your recent services. Few days back I was returned my car from the workshop from 3rd general servicing and my complaints are not solved I have had a door closing issue
                          Engine noise, they have had my car for almost 3 days and still I see the problems
                          New problem from the day it's arrived is oil leakage from the bottom,
                          It's a brand new car, driven only 20k kms and it's totally unacceptable.
                          The management told me all the problems and service has been taken care.
                          I've had the same bad experience 1st and 2nd time
                          Which I didn't complain.
                          I am scared to even give my car for servicing.

                                Hello Mr. Mahindra and executive team,

                                I hope this email finds you well!

                                I wanted to reach out to you for a complaint against one of your Dealers Koncept Automobiles located at Gurgaon Sector 48, Haryana. I would also add the lack of support from your complaints department here. Below is my complete case history.

                                Complaint against Dealer:

                                The charges I would want to press are Unfair, Deceptive, Unethical and Biased practice in handling my booking of XUV700.

                                They delayed updating my records by a day to entertain their other customers by unfair means of booking options, such as accepting advance post dated cheque on 6th Oct 2021, accepted bookings via WhatsApp by sharing dealer account number for money transfer. The same was an official statement confirmation given by Dealerships Customer Manager and Point of Contact on a recorded line with your customer care agent on 24th Oct 2021.

                                Complaint number - CF[protected]

                                My statement:

                                I was the 1st person to step in the showroom at sharp 10:00 am on 7th Oct 2021, and my payment was made, file was completed for booking at sharp 10:13 AM 7th Oct 2021 and I was informed by dealer employee that the booking is confirmed on 7th Oct 2021.

                                Technically, I was in the first 57 minutes of 25000 bookings PAN India.

                                However, I received a message from your company that my booking date is 8th Oct 2021 and that I shall pay the price and scheduled for delivery as applicable for that date.

                                I would like to contest that as I was well within my time and at official medium of booking and I request your intervention in this matter.

                                I was never informed of the said alternative mediums of booking by the dealer or company’s official announcement, otherwise I would’ve sat at home, made the booking at my convenience and not have taken time off my work on a working day to travel all the way to the dealership to make the booking. I accept that I was competing to be in the first lot of bookings as any other customer would, but I used the official route, did not make any ‘under the table’ arrangements with dealership sales team and now I’m being pushed down in the queue despite my right timings.

                                Please also note, that I did not use website for booking, foreseeing the demand and possibility of site being overtly crowded, so I used other official means.

                                Complaint against Mahindra Customer Complaint cell: I am a Corporate legal professional and I understand the channels of escalation given by a company are important to be used by customers, before it becomes an executive escalation to CEO/Chairman/Chairperson/ Equivalent authority. So I gave it a try and was promised a callback from complaints cell on 25 Oct 2021 for complaint # CF[protected], but I never received any call, message or email.

                                Having said that, I would still want your main attention to the complaint against the dealer to help solve my issue.

                                Evidences to prove my stand:

                                1 - Call recording in your customer care line, dated 24 Oct 2021 at 9:32 am. This has the statement made by Dealer POC / Customer Manager, confirming the said unofficial modes of them accepting other customers booking and placing their records above mine. (My husband spoke on my behalf). Attached call logs screenshots titled “Outgoing conference call Mahindra CS”, “Outgoing call to dealership”, “incoming Mahindra cs call with complaint number”.

                                2 -Booking amount Payment notification from my bank at sharp 10:13 am on 7th Oct 2021. Attachment titled “Bank debit msg”.

                                3 - Booking payment receipt from dealer dated 7th October 2021. Attachment titled “XUV700 booking receipt”

                                4 - Booking confirmation email was received on 24th Oct 2021 around 1 PM from Dealer post I confronted them on a recorded line with your customer service agent. Attachment titled “post confrontation booking confirmation email”.

                                Mr Mahindra, I was really exited to be buying my own first car and chose Mahindra XUV700. I did make a booking of Thar back in Jan 2021 but I changed my mind when I saw this wonderful piece of machinery, which solves for all my comfort and capability requirements. Unfortunately, this scam by your Dealership Koncept Automobiles Gurgaon Haryana, had caused me a lot of mental stress and is very disappointing to see their biases, reflecting negative on your company’s image.

                                I really look forward to your intervention and support in this matter at the earliest possible please.

                                  I have given my XUV-300 white registration number DL7C R 8478 purchased November 2020 for accidental claim around 6 months back at Sri Durga Automobiles, Moti nagar firstly the car was repaired in a months time due to non availability of some parts.

                                  After a few months problems started with my car coolant disappeared from the car and there was no sign of leakage. So i visited the service center Shiva Mahindra Site IV Sahibabad and told the problem to the service advisor he assured me that the problem would be taken care of but after proper checking and gauge testing they were not able to find any fault in the car and were not even able to identify why suddenly Coolant disappeared from the tank and they were also not able to find any leakage in the coolant bottle or at any other point. So they just topped up the coolant and the car was handed over to me without rectifying the problem. Now around 3-4 days back the same problem arised again Coolant disappeared and the car was getting heated like anything, i was not even able to drive it for 2-3 kms even after putting coolant in the car. So i called the service advisor for car pick up and they towed my car on 8th Nov. The car was getting heated so much if it would have catched fire who would have been responsible for the disaster. This is clearly a mistake at your company's service station as they were not able to identify the problem and without rectifying the problem handed over the car. Also whenever there is need of any part it is not available every time they have to call the part from Mumbai/Pune because of which I have to suffer for 4-5 days extra. This time also the coolant bottle is not available and they have ordered it and havent been received till today i.e. 11/11/2021.

                                  Apart from this there has been mileage problem from the first day when i purchased the car is only giving 10-11 km per litre even on highways. Every time when i have gone for service of the car i have asked the service advisor to do something about this but i have been given fake assurances only.

                                  Also the rear view camera has been not working and showing error since 6-7 months i have asked many times to get it replaced but due to non availability of the same that has not been changed and even after notifying it i havent received any communication regarding the same.

                                  My personal experience with this car has been nothing less than a nightmare. After paying such a high price for the car the expectations were high but i have been hugely disappointed. So i am asking you to keep the car with you only and refund my money.

                                  Mahindra And Mahindra customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
