Hi,

I am a doctor who completed my md and working in gandhi hospital hyderabad and serving covid patients. I use xuv 500 w11 (O) automatic (Vehicle no: ts13ep4466) for traveling to hospital and home. For a few days, i am facing many problems in my car so that i am facing many issues in travel and hence causing delays in my work.

I purchased top-end mahindra xuv500 automatic in march 2019 and is serviced from time to time in authorized mahindra services (Attapur, hyderabad). The car was in perfect condition till 10, 000kms and given for service in the same attapur service center.
The service center kept the car with them for 10days due to various problems (Like the staff of service centers affected by covid).
After servicing when the car delivered to me i started facing trouble. The problems are unique/rare which are unknown to the mahindra technicians.
They are:
(Describing in detail)
- after driving the car and reaching to the destination, i'll turn off the ac first and then press the push start button of the car and the car turns off and then ill get down from the car and press the lock button of the key so that car door gets locked and side-view mirrors turn to its close position and then slowly lights get dimmed and turns off. I'll make sure to see all this process as i enjoy viewing it.
-few minutes after locking, the car is automatically starting (Like a haunted car) and the lights are turning on. Except for the engine, every component of the vehicle is getting started by itself, and radio starts playing songs and all this process is without the key and without anyone's intervention. And when i try to unlock the car the remote/key of the car is not working and the car is completely locked.

I reported the above problem to the attapur service center, hyd of mahindra then the manager promised to take care of this problem and he kept vehicle with him for 3days and while delivering the vehicle when i asked him "what was the problem?" then he said that we solved the error codes of the vehicle and detailed some battery low problem but didn't address to the actual problem. He called some highly skilled technician (As said by him) and he told me that this problem doesn't arise and this is impossible and he didn't see any such problem in any vehicle in his years of service (As if we are faking). I took the vehicle from the service center believing that it may be some battery fault.

After attending duty at gandhi hospital (Hectic day) when i driven back home, this problem started again (Luckily after reaching home). As if a haunted car after locking it started again. This time i recorded completely. First, the screen was turned on and then the complete car was turned on automatically except engine and the songs started playing and the complete scene is the same as shown in haunted movies.

I request/demand immediate help from respective authorities of mahindra to address this problem and solve immediately as this is affecting my commute and causing problems in my emergency work life

I am attaching videos for reference and also i am attaching a video of how i detached the battery wire to turn off the power supply of the car (This was taught by road side assistance guy)

Hoping this forum helps me by raising my voice near responsible authorities

    Today I was service my goods vehicle mh12sf6940 at unnati motors wagholi Pune. They charge me Rs 100 with 75% discount for sanitiz. I think Rs 100 for sanitization is so high. I think no need to charg for sanitization. & At you service center vehicle washing is very poor for goods vehicle.

      I have purchased a Scorpio S8 2014 December. Car Registration No HR 51 BC 5654.
      The Concept mahindra Service station at Mohun Industrial Estate, has repeatedly not only failed to provide the required service, but has also indulged in exertion in one plea or the other. The car has been with them since the last several days.
      Please look into the issue

        My Name is Anurag Agrawal and I m staying in Jaipur (Rajasthan).

        Due to lock down my vehicle (Scorpio S9) completed 5k drive in Aug’20 hence my 1st service got delayed but the way service was done it was pathetic.

        Few of the concerns, I would like to bring into your notice, since the reply I got from the service personal was shocking to me :-

        1) I told him that My back side seats (all) were creating a very irritational noise whenever I drive alone – He assured me to stop this noise.
        - But after the service when I spoke to the concern person that noise is still there, he told me this is a COMMON PROBLEM in all the Scorpios, I can’t help it.
        2) The 2nd noise problem pertains to the back side of the door – he assured this is also a common problem, I will get this fixed.
        - But again the same is still there, and again he told me this a COMMON PROBLEM in all the Scorpios, I can’t help it.
        3) Rest of the problems are not major in terms of asking other comforts which were not given (all doors are creating such itching noise but this is manageable with the help of outside vendor).
        4) The Bill I got is from some other name (some – MIYA KHARAB) and Address with incorrect Owners Name and Ph Number, I requested them to rectify this and make the corrections, since I need to submit my Bill in my claims, But My request is not even entertained.

          I bought XUV 500 in March 17. During rains when driving or after rain on the parked vehicle the water drips in from the area around rear view mirror while taking a turn. It falls on the center console as well as passengers/ driver. On service done at sri durga automobile delhi, this problem was brought out during service. They said that the ducts of sunroof get blocked due to dust which leads to this. I keep it clean and still no respite from the problem.
          Kindly sort this out.

            My vehicle number KA 09 MD 0589 purchased in Mysore 3 years and 2 months ago ( Owner/s name Ananthalakshmi - My wife)

            I am an automobile Engineer retired from Bosch R & D - associated with many Mahindra projects in Bosch. My vehicle has a strange problem right from the time of purchase. Jerks and misfiring - occasionally . Engine comes to normal in a few minutes. This has happened several times in 3 years and India Garage has attended it. But the fault is not registered in the ECU anytime . Yesterday the problem persisted for a long time - really irritating. This problem is equivalent to plunder stickiness or injector nozzle stickiness for a short time. India Garage, Mysore attended several times but could not help since the problem did not occur in the presence of the Technician. By the time I reach India garage the problem disappears and I can only explain it orally. MY 55 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN THE ENGINE/vEHICLE TESTING has been put to test. VEHICLE IS FINE IN ALL OTHER RESPECTS EXCEPT LITTLE OSCILLATIONS ( Vehicle has done 16000 kM ). Please help me out. Suggest that your expert calls me on[protected] which would help greatly in solving the problem

              rusting and corrosion of mahindra xuv500

              I am a proud owner of mahindra xuv500 bought in june 2015 from faridabad, haryana. I loved it so much and did 1, 00, 000 kms in 4.5 years. I was so impressed with the mahindra xuv500 that i used to propagate its best features among my friends and family. Even i decided to buy mahindra alturas g4 in future.

              I bought an extended warranty for my xuv500 in 2018 to secure myself from any uncertainties that may occur in future due...

              This is regarding the complain against the dealer to the astro india udhampur dealership.
              His name is pawan. His p. No [protected]. We booked our mahindra xuv300 on 24 june, 2020 by paying sum of rs 5000 (Attaching pic of bank statement).
              Our date of buying car came out be 29 july, 2020 but 2 days before the date he said our car has not arrived so we were told to wait for the day till our car came.
              So yesterday (17 august 2020) our car came to the the udhampur mahindra showroom and now to our surprise the dealer pawan is saying that the offers and price to our car has been changed and now you will be charged new charges to which we objected. Also he said your xuv 300 has come with mandatory accessory of rs 20000 (Approx) which came fitted from the company, to which we objected,

              So, the thing is the dealer denying us previous offers as well as the forcing us to take accessories as said above.

              We want your intervention as after ready to pay so much of amount we are being harassed mentally.

              on 27th of august mr. pawan kumar as said in the complain above said that our XUV300 without any pre fitted accessories had arrived and we have to deposit our total amount of approx 10 lac to the bank account provided . we did so immediately on the same day but with the promise that we will be delivered our vehicle on 31 august, 2020 before 8 am in the morning because the that will be the auspicious time as our muhurat falls in that time frame, to which mr. pawan kumar agreed and further elaborated that our xuv has reached jammu and will be in the udhampur showroom as soon as you do your payments. On 28th of august we reminded him of his promise to which he assured us not to worry. But on 30 august during night we called him to know the situation and we were told that they can't deliver our car tomorrow because there was lockdown in samba district and our car was there. He lied to us at this place because initially we were told that car was in jammu and now he is telling us that you car got struck in the lockdown hit area.

              I calmed down myself and suggested him going with me to the samba district and i will manage the paperwork for the lockdown pass. He started framing things that its not possible and bla bla.

              sir, the whole trauma is happening just a night before the buying of our car.
              actually this is unethical and unprofessional. They lied and to suppress that lie they started framing things.
              we have paid our amount and these dealers are not only doing unethical things but also drowning the BIG name of MAHINDRA.

              Before doing anything further i want you to take strict action against mr Pawan kumar.
              PS: I have audio proofs of the conversations, their unprofessional talks and their lies

                Mahindra bolero power+ lx bs4 reg no.- mp50 c6361, chass no.-j2a53437 purchased in the year 2018. Run kilometer-46700 km aprox.
                After 3rd servicing the flywheel and clutch kit has replaced and also facing problem in other part like clutch and gear. The cluster meter also had stopped working. The vehicle having problem in start which is not solved yet.
                As seeing the above regular problems for new vehicle hereby i am requesting to you please replace the vehicle or repair it as soon as possible.

                  I m working in 21 north pick and drop services and providing my services shridurga Mahindra motinagar and Rama road.
                  On 01/08/2020 from Shri Durga Mahindra Rama road Delhi task came to me for Uk08AN8337 customer Pradeep Mathur (patanjali ayurved)
                  Svc made wrong bill as customer denied to service as per their estimate this car has not to be punched to 21north result customer denied payment and not returned the car now I m stuck in a situation due to which on my I'd still payment is pending .Now I m unable to work in my company as the payment is pending .
                  May be it's not your concern but Shri Durga Mahindra Rama road is cheating customers because many of the customers phone numbers are of 21north ambassador number my number is also in your customer care as a customer but I'm not your customer so to give them best rating but they are making company fool my number is [protected].every customer should go to svc for servicing their vehicles as many of them just in out vehicles and making bills as I have seen it in svc of Delhi

                    Last year I bought a Scorpio car from synergy cars, safdarjung enclave, new Delhi, they provided a GPS tracker for 3 years as free accessories. Before 3 months Indian auto company GPS had stopped their services, after trying called many times to customer care one of their employee has chat with me and they said they stopped services because they only have one year approval, now synergy cars are saying they are talking to IAC, etc. .. now my problem is going on as it is, it is highly faithful to u i[censored] solve my problem

                      On 31st july, 2020, i went to Mahindra ranchi (named Pratik Automobiles). That time, price list is not available to deal with. Talked on every possible aspect and on 4th August 2020, i paid Rs 10000/- as booking amount online. I have strict deal with the salesman that he must give me the car before 15th August 2020 but now his manager tells me to wait till 25th August, 2020.
                      As told by the salesman that your booking amount is refundable at any point of time.
                      After all its their fault only, if I had received it on time, I may purchase the vehicle but due to their unprofessional attitude. I want my booking amount back.
                      And, now they were ignoring my calls.

                      Sir please help me in this pendamic.

                      They contacted me and asked me to wait for almost a week so that they could make a cheque of 100% booking amount. After 3-4 days, they again called to say that my cheque has been issued and i have to collect it as soon as possible. Thanking you Regards

                        audio video system xuv500 not functioning

                        Dear sir/ma'am,

                        1. I purchased xuv 500 registered number gj-12-da-0758 on 31dec 2016 and it has been only about three and half years since then.

                        2. I was facing problem with the audio & display system since the begining of this year, that is, 2020. The system has stopped functioning immediately on expiry of its warranty period!!! Very surprising.

                        3. Due to covid-19 & frequent lockdowns, i could not take it to any service centre for its rectification.

                        4. During a recent servicing in july 20, i was told by the servicing centre that some "silver box" has become defunct & i will have to pay rs 35, 000/- to get it repaired!!!

                        5. I have the following queries/grievances :

                        (A) does mahindra & mahindra design
                        Systems which are supposed to become
                        Defunct immediately on expiry of warranty
                        Period?

                        (B) i am not inclined to pay a single penny to
                        Get the "silver box" repaired. I would have
                        Considered paying & getting the system
                        Repaired, if, at least twice the period of
                        Warranty had elapsed from the date of
                        Purchase, say six years. But immediately
                        After three years? It is beyond my
                        Comprehension.

                        (C) mahindra & mahindra may have their
                        Own logics & explanations, however, such
                        Reputed companies are sure to have their
                        Reputation at stake.

                        6.in view of the above, i would request you to address the issue at the earliest by resolving my grievance, failing which, i am contemplating on escalating the issue at an appropriate forum, which may not be to my gains but at least to vent out the agony that i am suffering.

                        7. Audio/video system or no audio/video system, my car will still run.

                        8. Looking forward to a positive response at the earliest from your end.

                          Hi, i would like to inform u about mahindra very bad customer service. My place in sulthan bathery, wayanad district, kerala, in wayanad district mahindra service center is located in “kakkavayal”. But when we are search their contact number in google they are provided a invalid number which is [protected]. I bought a bolero pickup on 2019 and now i need front both side wheel arch. I got a service center number from one of my friend and contact the number ([protected]) the said send my vehicle number & parts name at the same time i did it. Now 2 days i didn’t get any update from the service team. Many mahindra users had the same experience from “wayanad” mahindra service center. Kindly solve this issue as soon as possible

                            Good morning!

                            Despite lots of follow-ups and reminders i am marking this mail to you.
                            I had visit on said service station on[protected], due to i seen spare wheel have some problem of manufacturing defect. Image attached.
                            After my visit i have very poor response and irresponsibility behaviour of the said firm’s employees.

                            They had committed me your tyre solution will be done with in week, on the behalf of that commitment i put that type here in js grover auto [p] ltd. Pathankot (Pb).
                            After that i had visit to said firm on[protected], but they are not update about my tyre status, again they committed me you will get your tyre by[protected] anyhow. But not done.
                            Again i had called to mr. Anil malpotra ([protected]) on dated[protected], he tell i will get back to you soon.
                            After 4hour of waiting, again i called him but he is not responding properly.
                            Also i called to many other employee of the said firm, that i don’t know about the name of that persons.
                            Till the date, i also contact to your mahindra customer care :[protected] and +[protected], also they are not given any feedback yet now.
                            I repeatedly tell to your all employee, that i am coming from jamnagar (Gujarat) and i have to go there by[protected] anyhow. Kindly give be solution before that but they are not given any solution to me.
                            Now the sake of your team, wrong commitment, very poor service, i am suffering lots. Today i am here in jamnagar without car.
                            I was loosing per day from my job 4000/- and the work is also suffering, now i am here in jamnagar and my car is in pathankot.

                              I Anandbir singh vehicle number-DL7CT6294 took a warranty service from Indraprastha automobiles pvt. ltd at wazirpur Delhi they are the registered dealer of Mahindra & Mahindra. I had approached him last month for my AC service and some part replacement and after there regular diagnose of my vehicle they had told me that the ac cannot get serviced under the warranty scheme. Further i had spoke to there higher official but i didn't get any proper and helpful response from them.Even i had asked them to refund my warranty fee which they had charged me of Rs.26, 700/- on[protected]. request you to kindly help me out on this particular concern ASAP.

                                I am sourav singh i am working for walt disney company in usa .i purchased mahindra tuv 300 in last jan but from the day i purchased .isaw some issues with ac, one speaker and etc.my big b( gourav singh+91-[protected]) knows it well bcoz he is the one who is handling the car.i m very much busy due to my work .so, cant give my precious time to all these things.
                                I am unable to understand your service team they are unable to sort out and give satisfaction to customer.why would i take a new care to service center and let them do the r&d on my car .if i face these things in new car then what should i do
                                Kindly look into this matter and do needful.
                                Still thinking that u might be good as before .

                                  On 11 aug 20, mahindra service centre of dist - jaisalmer (Raj) named os motors pvt ltd has charged rupees 1659.99 for the five litters of engine oil (Mahindra maxmile feo) whereas mrp of the said engine oil is rupees 1635.
