Respected sir,
After a 3 years of wait since the time i sold my last car. I started looking for 7 seater car for last 3 months, after researching taking test drive with all your competitive manufacturers. I finally saw a piece of information about an upcoming mpv from mahindra marazzo. Even before the car was launched or any information about technical specification was available or as a geek i usually go through revies and suggestions and only then buy anything. But, with mahindra marazzo i blindly made an advance booking of 25, 000 on the 27th of august. I then also visited for the launch of the vehicle at the same mahindra first choice showroom in marathalli. I was the first person to be seated from 4:00 pm till around 6:00pm to watch the unveiling of the car. I was the first customer to make the booking for mahindra marazzo on this showroom and i was repeatedly acknowledged and assured even by the sales manager that they will be completely transparent and allot the first vehicle to me when the vehicle comes in stock to that showroom. 2 weeks back they informed to start the loan process and the vehicle was in sock on 27th september. A week before that loan was initiated, for no apparent reason the bank kept asking unnecessary documents, the bank manager said i can add co applicant as my friend or colleague, they collected documents of my fiance. Then the real drama started that i cannot add friends, i cannot add my fiance, whom i am getting married this month 28th and 29th.
Though my profile alone was clearly eligible to get a loan amount of at least 12 lakhs. They gave all incorrect info purposely. And behind the scenes the vehicle was registered and given to somebody else. They were not transparent, they kept saying vehicle is ready but i need to give some more documents, which was completely irrelevant and the only intention was they had to lie again and again.
After complete headache of last 3 weeks, i applied loan with my icici bank and the same got approved for 12lakhs in 2 days and the amount is ready for disbursal. When i contacted my relationship sales executive abhishek rao. He was continuing to lie that the car is ready but he needs to time to dicuss with others to give a delivery date. Abhishek has been lying to me with false promise for last 2 weeks, all i got to know is that to complete his sales target for the month of september he couldn't wait for my loan to disburse he gave the vehicle to somebody else so he can achieve his target.
I am seriously disturbed with this cheap business tactics from the sales executive. I have been waiting for this vehicle to gift myself and my wife. On our wedding on the 28th and 29th of october. I have been genuinely nice and not a sober, but the events which happened for last 3 weeks has certainly made me fall ill with all my dreams shattered.
Today when i visited the marathalli branch i was made to sit 2 hours for mr. Abhishek to come, he was hiding somewhere and didn't have the guts to face me, i was made to sit from 4 till 5:45 and one of the team leader m ravichandran met me and apologized. I shall share the complete audio recording of him accepting there failed to keep up the promise and accepted the fact that they were lying to me. I shall share those recording if required. All he had to say they will offer me white color and the aqua marine is not available. I did not agree and insisted to give the agreed color initially, he had to discuss on phone with someone else and asked time till tomorrow he said cannot promise or give the aqua marine m8 and was asked to leave in a professional manner. I am so disappointed and this shattered all my expectations and dreams that i had planned.
Sir, i have been a gentle person, this is not taken from dowry, this is my own money and the loan which i am taking liability on myself to repay, and to be very plain and simple. I did not even plan for my honeymoon, thinking i can instead invest that money on the car and use it to go on long journey whenever i had the chance post my wedding.
This car was a complete surprise to my family including my spouse, nobody knows that i was trying all this, even my spouse just signed and gave documents assuming it was personal loans. But this experience has left me with a surprise and i really have no words to describe this awful experience.
I was so excited when mahindra company gifted marazzo to one of the person in kerala who helped in saving many flood affected survivors. Though i don't need such luck to strike in my life, i was truly expecting the vehicle which i booked will be fulfilled to me.
I seriously hope some kind of action and help from any of you. And i thank you for being patient and read through my experience.
