I booked a bus (Shree Kukke Travels) from MakeMyTrip on 7th November.
Boarding point : Shivamogga Bus Stand.
Time : 11:30pm.
While we reached Shivamogga Bus Stand, all it was a nightmare experience we had.
Problems :
1) When we reached, the bus was not present at the stand. Then a person came to us and said, the owner of the bus had sent different bus, so please board to Sri Balaji Travels Bus.
Then all the customer who was about to board Sree Kukke Travels, boarded Sri balaji Travels.
I called(Owner Number provided by MMT in the booking [protected]) the owner and confirmed, and the owner said to board to Sri Balaji Travels.
2) Due to this misunderstanding, all the travelers were in confusion and there was huge mess with the people who booked online and who came directly to the bus and boarded with some adjustments with the bus conductor.
After this issue was resolved, a big problem aroused.
3) The battery of the bus was completely down and out. It was the bus driver who kept his mobile for charging for the whole day, made the battery to drain and he eloped from the situation spot (A new bus driver came later, this is one more big nightmare which i will be explaining in the sequence).
Due to this battery issue, the bus was supposed to start by 11:30 pm then bus got delayed by 1hr. The bus operator took help of the mechanic(he came at 12am) and took the battery of other bus which is also sri balaji owned by the bus owner. The mechanic took the battery from other sri balaji bus and ignited the bus to just start. if the bus is off somewhere in the journey then there was no support for the passenger.
The bus operator said, we will drive the bus till arasikere(the stop which he bus driver choose for nature break), then the bus will automatically gets charged and we can reach bengaluru.
He was not sure, what if it gets switch off inbetween.
Then there was a lady who was a judge who called the police to look in to the incident. The police name was ashok ([protected]) who resolved the issue.
Then we started at 12:45am.
4) The new driver said, he slept for only 2hours due to his previous bus trip. He said he has no connection between the bus and him.
Some unknown person from kukke sri bus travels called him to drive the bus which really scared us to travel as he said, he did not had enough sleep.
Inevitably we had to travel as we have already boarded and the bus was in mid way between the road.
5) Later the big nightmare was, from the other bus which we took the battery to ignite our bus, he stopped in between to collect the bus battery which he gave us.
He was not ready to give the battery to us. It is obvious that no one wants to give the bus battery to anyone.
again the bus was stopped inbetween8km away from shimogga. It was a highway and there were no commute for us to go back to home and either the bus was not moving ahead as it was stopped inbetween.
Then the big quarrelling between the two bus started.

Then we requested the bus driver to drop us back to shivamogga bus stand as we decided to go back to home.
The he started abusing me and my wife. We did not argue back as we wanted to reach our home safe. so finally we called the shivamogga police station nearby, they said they will come for rescue but they did not turned up. the bus commuters were little generous so they asked the bus driver to drop us back to shivamogga bus station. then he dropped us and we went by auto to home.
Then i claimed that we did not travelled in MakeMyTrip feedback section and all the problems i explained in the feedback.
makemytrip is so generous that no one has contacted us and even when we called them, there is no response to talk to the customer care in person.
The bus owner called us on the same day night around 2:30am and said he will return our money and he has initiated it from his end. but make my trip is not initiating the refund.
Solution : I just need a refund of my money. When bus owner is ready and initiated it, why makemytrip is not giving us.
MakeMyTrip India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
