@makemytrip I booked a 3 flight tickets from guwahati to pasighat for 9th Nov 2021 but after the ticket was booked I saw the date was wrong showing 23rd Sept. I cancel it within a minute as it was shown free cancelation within 0-2hrs but now I'm been charged for that.So I called every possible number but no any response since the booking date on 22nd Sept. Than finally I got call from make mytrip in the afternoon for cancelation fees confirmation. I was shocked it was the same number. Everytime I call there was no response other than ivr that drops after commenting. I asked the makemytrip to reschedule the date instead of cancelation also agreed to pay the charged amount but makemytrip is interested in deducting money from me without giving resolutions. It was a full 1hrs call & the 2nd was of1hrs 57 minutes but no resolutions.
I spoke to Sonos kumar who put me on hold for 47 minutes, 2nd to Miss. Prity Hembrom for 2 hrs the floor manager, I ask her for resolutions but she was more interested in taking my money. So, I clearly declared her to keep my refund money for herself as a donation from my end.
Is this the way that makemytrip policy their policy??
I want to make a complaint on this regard. I hope this online consumer complaint will help me out.

    I made a booking for October 14th delhi to manali for a amount of Rs7445.

    However the money was deducted from my bank account and I haven't received the tickets too. On calling the customer care they say no booking are made in your number. I want my money refunded at the earliest. I can share my bank statement as a proof of the payment. I want MMT to work on this issue ASAP.

      I had made a booking for my son for Mumbai-Chicago-Mumbai sector for travel in 2019 by American Airlines. Booking was done through MMT (Booking id NN[protected]). My son used the Mumbai-Chicago sector in Jan 2019. Due to start of Covid, AA cancelled their flights on that route and we got the ticket opened with validity upto Dec 2020 which was later automatically extended by one year by AA through a notification on their website. However they told us to get the refund or reconfirmed ticket from the agent (MMT on this case). After desperate but unsuccessful attempts to get in touch with MMT representative (a human and not a machine) for several months, we finally managed to get a call back from MMT in Sep 2021. We were told that the ticket can be booked. We confirmed the date by mail for travel. However we are yet to hear about the ticket being reconfimed though several customer service requests have been given but no update on action is available.

        When i booking bus ticket (03.09.2021) from Visakhapatnam to Chennai Amount is deducted Rs 2310.00 but ticket not came, system says busy .           I had multiple train tickets cancelled on 3rd and 4th september and was assured the refund amount by 7th september. Its almost Rs 3000 that has been blocked and no support recieved from makemy trip.
          the irctc website shows refund processed to make my trip bank and the mode of payment was amazon pay upi.
          I have tried to reach out the customer support and was of no use.
          the app shows the refund is processed but ther isnt any sign of the amount reflecting in my upi linked bank account.
          I need this to be resolved at the earliest and the refund amount to be reflected to my account as early as possible. Its been almost 15 days.
          For all the cancellation, theTrips section provided me RRN number and mentioned the reflection shall take 2 bussiness days . Its been more than 10 business days.
          I am really upset with Make my trip team for the refund process being so helpless.

              I booked a round-trip flight ticket for my mother's journey from Chandigarh to London (Heathrow) for April 12, 2021 and back to Chandigarh for 21 September, 2021 through MakeMyTrip. The booking of round trip was made on March 21, 2021. The booking ID on MakeMyTrip is NN[protected].

              As per the booking details the flight (Virgin Atlantic
              VS-354) had to depart from London at 21:10 hrs on 20 September and reach Mumbai at 10:45 hrs on 21 September, and after that, with a layover of 5 hrs 20 mins, my mother had to board the next flight (Vistara
              UK-651) from Mumbai at 16:05 hrs to reach Chandigarh (the final destination) at 18:30 hours on 21 September.

              However, when I recently checked the ticket details, I found that the flight from London to Mumbai has been preponed by 10 hours and now, this flight will depart at 10:50 hrs on 20 September rather than 21:10 hrs. This has led to an increase in the layover in Mumbai which is 15 hrs 45 m now.

              This has put me and my mother in a tense situation as my mother is a senior citizen and she cannot withstand the effects of prolonged waiting hours as she will already be exhausted after her first flight of 9 hours. As this is a serious matter of concern and keeping in view the convenience of my mother's travel, I reported this matter to MakeMyTrip company to enquire why this has been done and to request to change the flight from Mumbai to Chandigarh to ensure that my mother's layover time at Mumbai airport is reduced.

              Firstly, despite innumerous calls, I did not get any response from the company's customer care representatives, however, after more than 10-15 calls by me from Chandigarh and my brother from London, they picked the call but kept on transferring the matter to different sections of their company and I had to repeatedly contact the customer care representatives for resolution. Finally, after getting a response that flights cannot be changed, I then requested to at least provide with a nearby hotel accommodation for this increased layover time, so that my mother can rest and to assure her convenience as the layover time is during the night. To this, the company again denied to provide accommodation and told me that I need to contact the Virgin Atlantic Airlines for the resolution. Also, they forcefully tried to close the complaint case when we were not satisfied with the resolutions they were providing.

              My brother from London contacted the Virgin Atlantic Airlines through call as asked by MakeMyTrip, and he was shocked to hear from them that they cannot do anything to resolve this matter and he must contact MakeMyTrip for resolution as the booking has been made through them.

              Both the companies put the responsibility on each other which is extremely irresponsible and unacceptable.

              Upon repeated requests, MakeMyTrip assured that they will try and ccordinate with the Airlines to arrange accommodation for my mother and hence, I became hopeful of a satisfactory resolution. However, just a day before the flight, they denied the accommodation request which again has questioned the authenticity and effective customer care promises of these companies. This did not provide me enough time to think and arrange an alternate travel plan for my mother.

              This issue is a serious matter of concern as my mother is a senior citizen and an elderly person who cannot stay for so long keeping in view that she is traveling alone and is old. The waiting time is during night and considering her age and gender, I feel insecure about her well being.

              Because both the companies did not entertain the matter and suggested to cancel the flight, which I feel is totally irresponsible behaviour on behalf of such reputed organisations, my mother had to suffer all the inconvenience and ill treatment keeping in view the current pandemic scenario where a lot of precautions are also to be taken.

              This has put me and my mother in a tense situation.
              Therefore, after trying every possible way, now I am complaining about their bad service and irresponsible customer care service.

              I thereby, want to demand for an accommodation for the convenient layover of my old mother or an action must be taken against them for the harassment and inconvenience that they have caused.

                    I tried to book the travels ticket from sangli to andheri this morning. After completing the transaction amount got deducted and server failure message appeared. I didn't receive the ticket confirmation on registered number or email.

                    I hope makemytrip team will resolve this issue.

                      As of Make my trip shows on their website 24x7 customer care support but I tried call them at 6AM morning regarding my flight tickets queries...they auto answered for 10AM to 10PM and disconnected. So how can we rely on them for any bookings issue resolution at the time of any where ??...

                        At first a pop up stated that the transaction failed, and when I tried again, the payment was successful. When I checked the transaction history, payment was deducted twice. it was my first time using MakeMy Trip app, highly disappointed.

                          Hello,
                          I was just trying to book a rail ticket through mmt from Siddharthnagar (sddn) to Lucknow in GKP-AVNT SPL and the total amount deducted from my net banking account is Rs 2323.64 from A/c ending X1871 to Makemytrip, Ref no is IGALZYXMY4 dated 17th sept 2021. the payment has clearly been made against mmt but As I have already mentioned, the amount has been deducted but ticket is not generated. Kindly refund my money either in my wallet or my bank account as its very urgent for me to book the tickets now.

                            I was booking 2 tickets of "Desert Safari with BBQ Dinner, Live Entertainment & Shared Transfers" activity on 17/09/2022 from MakeMyTrip but booking failed and yet the money got deducted from my account.
                            I used google pay for payment and the transaction is showing as completed in goggle pay with UPI transaction ID as AI[protected]A1
                            Kindly return my money as soon as possible
                            I am unable to contact you as you don't have customer representative in calls and you haven't replied to my mail ans also their is no option in app to file complaint on failed bookings.

                                I tried booking a hotel through MakeMyTrip app . After the money gets debited, the page showed time out . I can't find the booking in the app and my money is not back yet . I payed through net banking SBI . How can i get my money back ?? The customer care number is not even taking my complaint as there is no booking in my app . Please resolve this ASAP .

                                    Mmt not refunding convenience fee on cancellation of flight due to airline

                                    I made a booking on trujet flight for 29th-june-21 but the flight got cancelled by airline due to operational reasons.
                                    The total amount paid was inr 2859 but mmt refunded me inr 2550 and deducted the convenience fees of inr 299 and it was mmt airline partner who has cancelled the flight and not me. They are only suppose to charge convenience fee when the flight is cancelled by us and not by the airlines since convenience...
