I booked a domestic flight from Coimbatore to Mumbai using my debit card, the amount was debited from my bank but after a couple of minutes the session timed out and i couldn't find my booking in my trips. I tried to reach customer support but everything is an automated response. I probably wouldn't book anymore using MakeMyTrip if there isn't any real customer support. I would suggest anyone booking flights directly contact the airlines.

      I booked my ticket on 01/09/2021 for a flight from Bhubaneswar to Bangalore. In the process of booking, twice amount got deducted. Post deduction, I have been trying at all numbers and online chat support, however, there no option to address said issue.

          Hi,
          My self Dr Bhanu Prakash Kandluri and my wife Dr Bhavana . We booked our honeymoon trip with MMT to Maldives, while confirming the booking we got clear assurance from MMT representative regarding Covid 19 grounds like covid 19 positive and lockdowns absolutely we can change dates by paying only airfare changes (in fact I delayed the payment for 2 days, to get assurance for non covid reasons also like any trauma, fracture or family emergencies ) now they are talking contrary
          I have clear chat records also which am attaching to this mail * later they saying not assured
          Unfortunately me and my wife got positive for covid antigen test, in fact we both are Doctors, we booked our bus tickets, cabs, return tickets.
          Now the representative from MMT saying we are not responsible for that we will try to get whatever possible but can’t guarantee any refund (allegedly saying only 12 days before refund possible )

          But as per travel guidelines we need get covid reports of less than 72hours only, how can we predict covid reports 12 days prior ?
          It is absolutely contrary to the commitment given to me
          I never expected these things from such a reputed MMT, being doctors how can we travel to somewhere after getting positive .
          How many lives it will affect if we travel

            I have been using HDFC credit card services for past few years, My current credit card number is [protected]
            Few month back I have updated my credit card. And my old credit card ends with 4221.
            I have booked the air ticket through using my previous hdfc credit card. On 25th september 2020. Due to corono, From March 2020 to May 2020, all the flight had been cancelled and i have got my refund amount to make my trip wallet. I have made the request of changing the wallet amount to original payment method on 22 January 2021. But still I didn't receieve the amount to my credit card.
            Below is the message I received from make my trip, when i enquired about the refund:
            As checked we have already processed 178+7594 inr already and the ARN numbers are [protected] / ONUS CREDIT EMI Please check with your bank if you have not received .please share your bank statement with us so that we can assist you further .
            Kindly do the needful as soon as possible.

                My airline cancelled by flight on Dec-25, 2019. I have been trying to get my refund for past 2 years. I contacted my airline, and it was confirmed the refund was credited to Travel agent, which is Makemytrip. But Makemytip didn't reply to either of my mail or call.                     I had booked an Indigo return flight from my parents through makemytrip for 8196/-. Airline has cancelled the return flight and agreed for full refund. But makemytrip refunded only Rs 5236/-.

                    Airline has confirmed refund of Rs 7340/- but Makemytrip is trying to still the remaining amount including the MMT convenience fee of Rs 960/-. I have been trying to reach out to them through phone calls for over a week but the phone is conveniently disconnected. There is no option to raise my grievance.

                    This seems to be a well thought of fraudulent practice of Makemytrip to earn profit by stealing refund amount. It is stupidity to book through makemytrip, always better to book through the airline or hotels directly.

                          Due to Covid-19, my international booking that I made through MakeMyTrip got cancelled in March 2020. I have been waiting on my refund of Rs. 54, 424 since then (Booking ID - NN[protected]

                          I have raised multiple requests through their webform and spoken with their agents multiple times. MMT promises to refund my amount every time but it never shows in my bank account. Now it has become impossible to reach them via phone call, emails or web forms as the call never gets connected, emails are never responded to and the web form is nowhere to be found.

                          The entire process of being promised a service and not being delivered is becoming emotionally and financially draining as Rs. 54, 424 is not a small amount.

                          I really hope raising a complaint through this forum will help me get my refund.

                            Respected sir,
                            I hereby lodge my complaint against the air ticket broker "MakeMy Trip" who holds my refund.
                            I had taken the ticket of go airline through the broker mentioned above.
                            When it was found that the first(depature)flight was canceled due to some technical റീസൺസ് from airlne, the second date of the (return) flight was changed to July 27 and 28 (midnight)with the help of Go Air lines customer care executive with a penalty of Rs 5, 000.

                            Unfortunately, Go Ire's second flight was canceled without any warning and my wife and I boarded another flight from Mumbai to Calicut Airport for Rs. 10, 300.
                            Go air company refund amount of Rs. 5, 806 / - due to my persistent age
                            Transferred to give through broker without giving to me.(Incomplete amount due to cost).
                            When the original record of the above amount is constantly emailed, the broker gives up for some reason and refuses to pay.
                            The reasons described above are expected to result in an immediate action with the assistance of the Consumer Court.
                            Kindly find all attached documents.

                              A friend and I (students due to travel to Scotland on Student visa) booked our tickets to Glasgow via MMT (for Emirates airlines) on 13 August - Booking ref num NN[protected]. This was while an MMT agent was on call with us. Make note that this agent does not give us any information of possible restrictions that I need to be aware of. Let me tell you, as per their so called "guidelines", we had gone through all possible country guidelines both for country of destination (Dubai) and layover - none of which mentions no layover post 10 hours is allowed for Dubai. Our original flights were booked for the 7th (Mumbai to Dubai) and 8th (Dubai to Glasgow) with a layover of over 14 hours.
                              In a day or two I receive an email from Emirates informing us of change in itinerary due to operational issues - so our flight now is on the 8th to Dubai and 9th to Glasgow with a layover of 20 odd hours. MMT still does not bother to call us or inform us of a possible disclaimer that whether 14 or 20 hours, this layover time is under restriction category. Upon raising our concerns and requesting for them to take accountability and moving us to a flight with lesser layover time (as per Emirates guidance), we are only being taken on a circular discussions with MMT saying that they are not responsible for country restrictions and me reiterating the fact that as agents, the agent on call should have told us of this restriction while booking since they were clearly aware of it, as the restriction was apparently applicable while I booked the tickets. 2 weeks later, we are still on a goose's chase with no clarity of a possible solution to move us to a flight with lesser layover time (let me tell you, the different cost of over 1 Lakh that they want their passengers to bear)! With an exception of 2 agents (Vishal and Paromita), none of their agents have been helpful or even understanding about the ordeal that they are putting 2 students through especially during Covid times - no responsibility taken, no accountability at all to the fact that they misinformed us of the concerns with this flight being allowed to fly even, and absolute no clarity in resolution.
                              Why they act as an agent and publicize flights that clearly can be cancelled if the restrictions continue without including a disclaimer for the 100s of passengers, makes no sense to me. This has been taxing us our time, the uncertainty of their actions stressing us for the last 2 weeks. Their response time is appalling, and they now expect us to wait another 48 hours with flight rates soaring, to speak to yet another supervisor who I am sure will continue to tell me the same thing!
                              My desirable resolution as stated to each of their agent is for them to transfer us (economy) to another flight which flies out to Scotland within the 9th of September with layover time that is permissible and us as passengers not having to bear any additional cost! We just want to make sure that a fair and economically feasible resolution is provided and we are able to fly out by the 9th of September to Scotland to attend our classes at the University on time (post quarantine).

                              Update on the above - No one from the team has reached out yet - it has been well over 24 hours, and we understand from Emirates that this flight has now been cancelled with absolutely no alternate options. We are still waiting to hear from Make My Trip on the 100% refund. The whole ordeal has been exhausting and mentally taxing at this point!
                              I still do not follow why sell a ticket for an airline that you know is not allowed to fly due to layover restrictions. Disappointing to say the least!

                                    Hi,
                                    I made a booking through MakeMyTrip for a trip from Toronto to Delhi, Date of flight was 15 Jun 2021.
                                    I cancelled the flight on 12 April.
                                    First, makemytrip didn’t apply for refund untill 19 May 2021, After my continuous calls for a month, I contacted them for refund. They start the process.!

                                    Then, no follow up has been given to me and taken from the airline regarding the delay of the refund.
                                    It has been September now, my refund of Rs 47, 960 is still not processed
                                    There is no support from MakeMyTrip. No feature on the app to raise the request/ complaint

                                      I am scheduled to travel from Delhi to Raipur and back on 27th Aug 2021. I had booked my flight through makemy trip and hence have been trying to web-check through makemytrip website, but it takes me no where.

                                      Tried reaching the customer care on all toll free numbers, but the calls get dropped every 5-10 seconds of the start of the IVR.

                                      I have tried locating an email id, where I could reach the customer care team, but that seems to be no where available.

                                      I am stuck with the booking, and since this is an early morning flight, I wanted to avoid hassel and do a webcheck in timely, which I am not allowed to do.

                                      Please help!
