Hi.. My name is anil narayan ([protected]@gmail.com).. I am a registered member of mmt.. On 24th nov 2017.. I had gone ahead with a booking of bougainvillea in alibaugh from 26th nov to 29th nov... Accidentally i had cancelled this as the actual booking was to be done for 26th to 29th dec.. I immediately called mmt and informed them that i need to proceed with the booking as the same was already fully paid.. But no one guided me properly.. I lodged 2 complaints too refs reference id:[[protected]] mobile feedback|hotels and reference id:[[protected]] mobile feedback|hotels but all were talking to me about my refund.. I spoke to hotel staff patil and he said he would accommodate me if mmt confirms my booking... Spoke to csr (Ati) and she put me on hold for 30mins after providing clarifications from my end for nearly 30mins... I need some one to look into this immediately and or arrange for refund if my stay cannot be reinstated... Pls help.. I had paid nearly 16k from my end for this booking... Looking forward to your support as usual in resolving this exceptional request..

Hi there.. Last Sunday we had a call with the hotel person Mr. Rohan and MMT representative Jayant and Rohan confirmed that had MMT contacted him on 25 with regard to this booking he would have allowed me to go ahead with my booking... I had approached MMT on 24, 25 and also on the day of commencement of my booking i. e on 26..and requested them to reinstate my cancelled booking but the MMT representatives did not handle this case better and thus I lost on this opportunity.. Mr. Jayant also acknowledged over the phone that this was MMT error and he will check and come back.. Now I don't request a refund but want MMT to book a hotel as per my convenience and help me resolve this matter... Appreciate MMT usual help and assistance here to ensure my case is discussed in detail and my money utilized to the fullest.. Thanks...

My issue is still not resolved... It's already couple of weeks now... If MMT has made a mistake I want them to acknowledge the same and resolve this issue at the earliest.. Simply delaying the response is not the correct way to solve customer queries..

I was just contacted by uttkarsh from MMT.. Had to narrate the whole story to him (3rd or 4th time), I had to do the same to a MMT rep... He again contacted Rohan who had initially agreed not to refund this amount as MMT had not contacted him on or before 26th... So my case still in not resolved... Hotel guy is happy for having recd the funds... MMT is happy for having received the cut from the hotel... So who now is left unhappy... It's me the customer... Why this not being escalated within the chain if MMT have accepted its their mistake and the query is resolved by invoking vital contacts or reimburse the customer if there is an error from MMT... Why delay if the error is accepted... I need this to be escalated within the MMT chain.. They cannot be sitting on my funds like this... Pls help...

    I had booked a airline ticket on makemytrip with booking id nf[protected] from mumbai to kolkata 15th sept, 2016 and they claim that they have refunded the amount to a account with details as given below:

    Refund date: 01/12/16
    Refund amount: 3498
    Account type: icici bank a/c
    Arn: 74332746337633646388268

    But the account was closed at the refund date. So refund to a closed account is not possible. I am waiting for refund from the last 11 months. The bank claims its with makemytrip and vice versa.

Please be advised that, in cases where account was already closed before the refund processing date bank creates a Suspense account and put the refund money in the same account. Request you to please raise a dispute with your bank with the help of ARN provided from our end. We thank you for contacting us.

      Hi,

      My name is Trapti Agarwal and my email address is [protected]@gmail.com. I am the registered member of makemytrip.com, though never did any bookings via makemytrip.com till date. I am also, the registered member and user of Goibibo.com and must say have better experienced any issue using Goibibo.com till date. But then since I was having 555rs as wallet balance in my account, I thought of doing my flight tickets (Domestic) from makemytrip website. I also have makemytrip app downloaded on my mobile and the email address given for it is same as mentioned above. I could see that makemytrip runs referral bonus (1500 Rs. is earned by the one who refers to download the app and sign up (new user) and 2000 rs is earned by to whom it is referred to download the app and sign up (unregistered mobile no. and email address - new user). I shared the link to two of my friends - [protected]@allana.com ( Kuldeep Chaudhary) and Vansh Gupta ([protected]@gmail.com) and have not received 3000 Rs. as referral bonus ( 1500 Rs. each). Please look into this asap and credit my account with the name TRAPTI AGARWAL ([protected]@gmail.com) with 3000 Rs. as referral bonus asap.

        Me and my family sanjay purang and saumya purang (Nf[protected] and neerja purang (Nf[protected] had a ticket to dehradun from delhi on 10th october 2017, the spice jet flight got a technical issue and returned back from air, we were told to wait for flight but till late evening could not board the flight and got the cancellation done, was told that it will be refunded in full but till date nothing has been refunded
        You are requested to do the same or i have no option to take the matter to consumer cell, and ministry of aviation, your early reply is expected

          I have booked a room yesterday around 9.30pm (23.11.2017) by using makemytrip at hotel baby residency, vellore, tamilnadu for rs.3060. They also send me booking id nh[protected] to my email, whatsapp as well as through sms. Also they have mentioned that "you don't need to call the hotel to reconfirm this booking"... After that in have reached the hotel and i have shown my booking id which i got from mmt to the receptionist.. After seen that confirmation message, they said that there is no rooms available at this date, also we already sent a mail at 19.11.2017 itself to close the inventory for this day. But they aren't close the inventory till now... This is not our fault, you have to talk with mmt customer care.. Like that receptionist said to me...
          Afterthat, i have called mmt customer care at 10.41pm (23.11.2017) and asked about this.. They said that "sorry for the inconvenience sir, wait for few minutes we will make sure that and do your favour" like that they said... After that call i got a message at 11.01pm stated that ""dear harish,
          Sit back! We are on top of your request!
          Your request for confirming and getting check-in to the hotel for your hotel baby residency hotel (Nh[protected] has been received by us.
          Our promise is to ensure check-in at the hotel in 1hr.
          If we delay, then we will pay rs.100 wallet bonus per hour upto a maximum of rs.1000""... So that, i was waiting there... Waiting... Waiting... Waited for the whole night without sleep... At last by 6.30am the next day 24.11.2017 i got a call from mmt and the customer service executive said me that"sorry sir, we tried many times to reach you, but we didn't get.. So we have reached you now, we are having a better option that we will going to refund your amount.. Also we will give a voucher worth rs.1500/- after that you can use that coupon in your future bookings" like that he said.. I was waiting for the whole night, without sleep... I came here for an interview... I spend more money for this booking... Now i have only 120rs with me.. Where can i get refreshed, how can i attend the interview... What i have to do with 120rs.. Whether shall i use that to return to my hometown or shall i keep it for my breakfast.. I have suffered lot by their mistake... Will their refund equalize my all suffer made by them??, will it give job??.. Will it replace all??
          They have to pay for all my suffer.. Kindly do the needful... Now i am going to my hometown.. Still i am waiting for my favorable action.. They need to give compensation for me..

            I have booked my ticket through MMT Bhubanswear - Mumbai with PNR numbers are N91VFD, N91VFD, K2PNFV, As airlines(GoAir) change the departure time from BBI to Mumbai, it is impacting me to catch International flight. As this is change from airlines, I am looking for full refund so that I can book alternative flight.
            I have raised complain on MMT with reference number:[protected]
            The worst part is MMT is not responding to my complain. This is a very BAD experience with MMT, customer care is worst.

              Booking id nf[protected]

              I had booked the ticket under some promotion of icici card, entered the promo code, but on payment it failed. And retry for payment page came. I tried repayment. Now mmt is not giving the cash back saying that you did not entered the promo code.. That is bit funny, seems their app has some serious issues and it removed the promo code. After continues explanation to the customer care i fed up... And forgot it.

              This was an ugly exp with mmt mgmt, they remove the code and then will say customer u never entered it.. Many of times the payment will get failed. Customer support (Abhinav, whom i was interecting) sent me exactly same email 10 times on my reply.

              Such a pathetic service mmt gives.

                1) in the month of jan.17 i cancelled one ticket of airindia. Makemytrip.com has not repaid my taxes. How they can keep the taxes after collecting from the customer? When i complained got reply that i have to write to other site.
                I donot know why they keep cheating people.
                2) when i go for flight booking, on every step the price increases. And after repeated log in the price still goes up. Also the conveyance charges are added. They justfy that it is routine. Where as some sites it is not like that.
                Ever for hotel booking they show one price and on proceeding to next step they increase it. It is all programmed so that extract as much as possible for the customer.

                  Hotel staff refused to give room. Whereas we had already booked 4 room from makemytrip in advance.

                  We had a group of 10 people, including women and children. Our hotel booking was started from 10 o'clock. But due to our train time, we arrived at the hotel at 9 o'clock. When we showed the booking ticket to the hotel staff/owner, he refused to clear, that there is no booking on ours. And he said that he cannot help us, we have to talk directly to the mmt customer care.

                  Then, when it started talking to the customer care. He lasted 3 hours. And had to call about 10 to 15 times during this time. And customer careers blocked our mobile numbers also. The customer care were not ready to take any responsibility. We needed to talk to different mobile phones every time. And during this time our whole group had to wait on the road outside the hotel.

                  Customer care representatives were also unwilling to make any help. They were saying that you have any other arrangements; we will refund your money. But on our repeated talk, we were given a hotel at 12 o'clock.

                  Our this experience with makemytrip was very bad that spoiled our tour in the entire morning and our tour planning. And the entire group had to wait for 3 hours outside the hotel. Very disappointing accident.

                    At the time of cancellation for my trip booking from make my trip booking id: nf[protected] make my trip mobile application showed me free cancellation on their mobile application and that the refund amount after cancellation is rs.1, 696/- which is in full but at the time of refund make my trip just sent me a refund of rs.251/- instead of rs.1, 696/-.

                      I requested mmt to keep the status of my ticket as open. They confirmed that it is done.
                      After a month i called mmt to book the flight, they charged me additional fees and sent an email informing that my ticket is booked.
                      Next day morning when i woke up, i got an email from mmt reading 'your booking is cancelled and your refund is processed' - i was shocked.
                      The refund amount was less than half of what i paid.
                      Since i stay in qatar, i had to start the marathon of international calls to reach mmt.
                      On 11 november 2017 very promptly and efficiently avijit mujumbar from mmt called and informed that do not worry mam, we will refund all the amount as this cancellation is not your fault. He also sent me an email reading 'we will process your fell refund'.
                      I immediately sent an email to avijit asking him confirm whatever he said on the phone i. E. The amount of full refund.

                      Ever since i sent this email, avijit disappeared. I called mmt on 16 november to follow up and speak to avijit but the executive informed that he was unavailable and an email is marked to avijit requesting him to call me back.
                      Unsurprisingly this did not happen.
                      I got an auto email saying ' please wait, we are working on your refund'.

                      To this insensible email, i again sent an email on no activity again.

                      Today on 20 november (9 days after the incident) i again got an email from arindam saha saying "please wait, we are working on your refund'.

                      I am on call since 1.5 hours with mmt with no resolution.

                      And now i am informed we will revert to you when the airlines revert to us.

                      This cheating and fraud as at the time of booking, mmt charged the payment and at the time of refund they are saying we are waiting for airline.

                      Wherein i have nothing to do with the airline. I made the booking with mmt who took service charge from me.

                      There is no solution still!!

                      I have suffered so much of mental torture with mmt by fighting with them, shouting for 40 minutes continuously.

                      I should not only just receive my refund back but also the compensation for mental agony i suffered.

                        I am vikas shrivastava. I have made a booking on 8th february 2017 on makemytrip with the following details:
                        • booking id: nf[protected]
                        • flight: air costa lb – 655
                        • from to: jaipur to bangalore
                        • departure on 29th april 2017, 6:20 pm to 8:10 pm
                        • amount paid = inr 11, 996 + inr 900 (Convenience fee) = inr 12, 896

                        I along with my family members, had to attend important engagement to be held in delhi on 18.11.2017 and had connecting travel from delhi to another city. We had booked 5 seats together (2 via paytm and 3 via mmt) on the same flight and accordingly planned in advance booking of 3 seats under 1 air tickets from your company and paid rs.7800/- through my credit card. I, along with other family members, reached airport on 18.11.2017 to catch spicejet flight sg-253 and in the process of getting boarding pass, i was shocked and stunned to know from the counter executive that all 3 tickets booked via mmt has been cancelled by some agent called “deepak” from your company and also tried to change registered email id. Such request was never placed from my or anyone’s side and is purely done by your team executive which is shocking to me. I immediately contacted over phone to your customer care and spoke for more than an hour (Have all call recordings to proof that how slow the response was) to know the factual position and was surprised to know that our tickets were cancelled on 18.11.2017 morning itself whereas i did not initiated for cancellation of tickets.

                        As i and my family members had some important work and had to reach delhi on the same day as we had connecting flight, hence we were left with no alternative except to purchase three tickets immediately from goair airline to take flight on the same day (18.11.2017) from srinagar to delhi under booking reference no. T7e2pz with confirmed status and paid on the counter.in all, these four tickets costed me rs. 20412/- along with mental torture and huge inconvenience by your fault, also my family suffered financial loss as some valuable items were lost during this chaos.

                        Your act of cancellation of ticket at your own has caused me additional financial expenses beside harassment, inconvenience, embarrassment, mental agony etc. I herby lodge my claim to indemnify me for financial loss, harassment, inconvenience, embarrassment, mental agony etc immediately failing which i will be free to initiate appropriate action for your such unauthorised act. I am being compelled to lodge written complaint with you on public forum and consumer complaint websites after non receipt of any response against tele complaint lodged with your customer care cell on 20.11.17. If there is any further delay, i will file a case on consumer court where you’ll have to pay all the expenses along with big compensation for loss of my time and inconvenience.

                        In reference to your concern, while validating your case we have found that, our management team has handled your case and provide you with the information regarding cancellation of your flight booking. So, we would like to re-iterate the same that, as per our records, cancellation request was placed online from the device ONEPLUS A3003 with unique device id a75a6c1ac6167f6.on 18th Nov 0831hrs and cancellation request was processed at the backend manually by our customer support team as per the online request received. Since this was an online request, that request confirmation is shown on-screen and dies not get communicated over email or SMS.
                        We have not denied the fact that cancellation was processed by our backend agent, however it was processed only after online request was received from customer's mobile device.
                        We see that our customer support team had informed the same as well, but this is being denied by customer.
                        We would like to let you know that we have referred to valid evidences and cancellation logs before sharing affirmative written response with you. Further since these responses are from MakeMyTrip Management Team, we have also certainly considered legal implications before responding to you. We also do not see any change in the email address on your booking.
                        We have already suggested you to kindly lodge a complaint with cyber cell department if you feel that cancellation was not requested from your end. Further we will not be able to arrange a callback from Deepak since he is a back office agent and is not available on calls, and detailed observation has already been shared with you on MakeMyTrip Management's behalf.
                        Regret, no refund is applicable as the booking is non-refundable and cancellation was requested by customer's mobile device. Our response on this matter shall stand final.

                          I have cancelled indigo air ticket from hyderabad to new delhi dt.14.11.2017. As per guide lines issued by the make my trip and indigo authorities i have taken another ticket from hyderabad to new delhi on[protected]. I have already completed travel dt 8.11.2017 from hyderabad to new delhi and 14.11.2017 returned from new delhi. To day i have contacted indigo authorities through phone and they informed the amount already sent to make my trip. I request you to kindly return the amount to in my account.

                            On 14th nov 2017, i booked tickets (3 passengers) from chennai to ranchi, via kolkata,[protected] with air india. I made full payment of 42027.00inr. But i received only confirmation invoice of kolkata to ranchi (Booking ref: nf[protected], pnr-z34mf, copy attached).

                            I have yet not received the confirmation of my journey from chennai to kolkata. Please reply asap

                            Hotel has not accepted payment advise i have received from MMT on booking, charged Rs. 5598 and not given discount of Rs 1100, if same not refunded to me back, i would be force to file case in consumer court to get back my money. Morning due to that, my hole day mood got disturbed. This is cheating.

                                I booked 19.11.2011 nite 11.00pm madurai to hosur in make my trip app but bus not arrive correct time in kpn travels but transport agents not told reason answers and use valgur words so i was very upset after i check it not visible in cancel tickets options so i was very upset and disappoint. I lost 1000 ruppes and disappoint. So further peoples don't book travel at make my trip its app is tie-up fraud travels and no return yous money

                                  Makemytrip cheated me in the name of zero cancellation. I booked ticket or tomorrow 18:10 pm. I called them up at 18:04 pm today to cancel it, they intentionaly elapsed the time (Just 5 minutes lapsed) and deducted rs around 4500.00. T when i told him to cancel he said just rs 1200 will be deduced. They have not mentioned the policy clearly anywhwere. They are telling its my fault. I am attaching the call log and also the. Don't ever fall into the trap of these guys. Just checkout the call log for booking id: nf[protected].

                                    We checked the hotel 17th november at about 8 pm, we had three booking fo told only one booking after they could locate all the bookings, it took 30 mnts to get the keys of the room, when they gave us the room they were one level down of reception, the room was stinking, it was all covered with the boundary wall, given twin beds for single occupancy, when some one walk on the floor it makes lot of noise, then i called the fo, they reluctantly changed the room at 2053 at reception level floor, again same issue covered with all walls, the water glasses were not on the table, no hot water, no drainage water was stagnant in the bathroom, the basis was having only cold water tab, really pathetic situation of that hotel, in the restaurant stewards are only interested in clearing the table, i have seen when ever we are booking though mmt guests are given 2nd class citizen treatment at the hotels, before that i stayed in v. Resort rishikesh there also situation was not different, they don't have laundry, they don't have iron, i am really disturbed mmt knows i am a frequent flyer but now think whether to use your portal for booking. Take up with the hotel and make compensation for the inconvenience caused to all o[censored]s.                                       Hello i have booked an european dream trip from one of your priority partner based in bhubaneswar named as royal holidays. Which was bought on 2015 july with booking id nl[protected]. My visa had been cancelled 3 days prior to my booking. By which i could not go for that trip but have done my full payment. Still now its been more than 2 yrs i had not been refunded my money and your priority partner is saying to file a case against make my trip. So what do i do. Please suggest... Am been mentally harrassed since 2yrs.

                                      In reference to your complaint, while validating your case we have found that, the total booking amount was Inr 38013/- out of which Inr 20, 000/- was paid by customer on 15-Sep-17 at 12:46hrs. and there was balance amount of Inr 18013 which needs to be paid by customer till 21:00hrs. as per the confirmation mail sent However, balance payment was not made by the customer on time. Team has sent multiple reminders and also made call to customer to make balance payment but, balance payment was made by customer at 23:27 hrs on 15-Sep-17. However, timeline for making balance payment was 21:00hrs. on 15-Sep still team has waited till 22:00 hrs for payment and sent multiple reminders to customer but, payment was not made within advised time frame due to which booking was cancelled by the backend team. As checked, team has processed a refund of Inr 36969/- post deducting minimum charges of Inr 1044/-. We regret to inform you that, no further refund is possible on this case.                                       In reference to your complaint, while validating your case we have found that, the Visa rejection happened just three days prior to the travel start date. And as per booking cancellation policy (which was shared with customer before confirming the booking), within 3 days booking fall under full package cost as cancellation charges since at the last moment airline, vendors don’t provide any refund against cancellation. So, we regret to inform you that no refund is applicable on this booking.
