I booked a cab facility from makemytrip outstation cab service today (Nov 29, 2017) morning about 6 am for my brother travel time 8:30am from old delhi railway station to jaipur, full amount was paid in advance of rs 2289.
We received message containing driver phone number, but when i called him, his number is switched off, due to some reason we have to cancel the booking on a urgent basis at about 6:30 or 6:45. We were charged 100%,
I think this is unfair with the customer. Cab driver will receive another booking, but customer was charged 100%.

I respect their terms and conditions of 100% charge against cancellation within 24 hours, but we have booked the service just 2 hours prior of travel time, so 100% charge i dont think is fair.

I request you to please look into this and try res. Olve this soon as possible.

    We have purchased a tour pkg from makemytrip.com. Before finalizing the package and making the payment, we told them 10 times that we are a b2b company and e are booking this pkg for 1 of our group customers. Despite of that they made the invoice in the name of 1 traveler travelling on the pkg. When we objected the same, they said its a system generate auto invoice. We requested to to make the invoice in our company name as we also have to give the gst invoice to the client company. It has been 30 days past, no revert receiving from their end. We are continuously sending emails. But there is no response.

    We are not expecting this kind of service from makemytrip. My question was to them is how they have made the invoice in a traveler's name when we have made the payment and we said we are a b2b company. Is this not a irresponsible work.
    Now when we are asking for the needful gst invoice in our company name, they are only taking time.

    Please do the needful asap.

      I had booked a multi city trip on mmt and the last leg of the trip did not get booked but the whole amount was charged to my card. Mmt needs to refund 6k back to me and i have been following up since 25 days on emails and calls with any support from the team at all. I have sent them my bank statements where there has been no refund and called multiple times but they keep saying we will let the concerned team know and no one responds post that. Its highly frustrating and i would advise everyone not to use the service unless you want to go through a painful ordeal and feel cheated.

        I am tushar jindal.
        I booked flight from delhi to bangalore for 9th aug 2017.
        I claimed my udf return after this journey date. I mailed many times but i am not receiving any response. My calls are not answered. I talked to vistara airlines, they told me that, they already refunded my udf money (550 inr) to my travel agent i. E. Makemytrip.

        Please look in to this matter and do the needful.

          I have just returned from a holiday with my wife, which was disappointing at sometimes.
          Please find below a list of our complaints:
          1) at golden beach resort hotel – we reached the hotel at 1:40 pm but the room was not ready at that time and the hotel given the room at 3:00 pm, as per hotel policy room should be ready for the upcoming guest is 2:00 pm. We waited for room more than 1 hour.
          2) for phi-phi island tour – seller not told us about speed boat when we were booking the package, we got to know about the same when we reached the phuket and your representative told us about the transfer for phi-phi island through speed boat, we paid 900/- bht per person for the same.

          3) transfer from bkk airport to pattaya hotel – there was a silly mistake happened on voucher that the pickup time was mentioned from bkk airport was the 4:00 pm and we had reached the airport at 1:40 pm, again we had to wait there more than 1 hour. And due to this delay, we reached the hotel at 5:30 pm. (In the result, we missed the relaxation time, and we needed to ready for alcazar show it was too hectic)
          - we contacted your representative at the airport, but they were unable to resolve the matter and advised us to contact your tour operator, so i had contacted with vijay and the matter was resolved after 1 hr.
          Some of other issues which are as given below: -
          1) i requested for gst receipt and seller refused to provide the same. So, if you are unable to provide the gst receipt it means you do not have the gst no. And this is coming under illegal financial act.
          - request you to please provide the gst receipt neither i should go to consumer forum.

          2) no discount is provided to me for package booking, as i booked the package far early in month of july even my travel date was in mid of nov.

          3) i approached to your representatives many times regarding any update like visa details, briefing call. So as in result i have experienced lack of professionalism from mmt representatives which i was never expected from (As per my expectations mmt is a brand name in tour operations)

          So as mentioned above inconvenience faced by me and to my wife as well, i expect compensation from mmt for the same.
          I look forward to receiving a response from you asap.

            Hi,

            This is about a horrible experience faced due to flight cancelled at last moment due to incomplete information provided by mmt at the time of booking.

            Please see attached images that while booking flight for new delhi to cape town. For ethopian airways, your website clearly states to check transit visa, whereas for same trip, airfrance flight no information is put by makemytrip to let customer know that a transit visa may be required.

            Because of your negligence, my parents were not allowed to board airfrance as they were not having transit visa for paris, as this was not mentioned on your website.

            My parents needed to travel that day only as i was expecting delivery of my first child in next couple of days.

            So, we had to book another flight at the counter with last minute fare, and on top of it you guys have deducted 25000, which is a huge amount. This is all when there is no fault from the customer side and purely on part of mistake from makemytrip for not providing complete information.

            Still no response from makeMyTrip.
            Someone from management did call like 10 days back and promised to call back in 72 hours.

            This is really not good.

            Again attaching Screenshots showing that transit Visa information was not provided at time of booking or in tickets, resulting in cancellation of flight at last moment.

              My flight was cancelled by indigo. Indigo customer care informed me to contact makemytrip regarding the refund. I contacted makemytrip on the 17 of november 2017. They informed me they have manually initiated the refund. On 23rd i got a part of the amount 250rs. On the same day i made a call to the customer care and checked. They informed me that the remaining full amount will be be credited in 48 hours. On 25 th i again contacted and got the same reply saying 48 hours.
              Again on contacting the customer care on nov 27th night i got a new answer that my money will be credited after 8 days. If they can refund rs within 4 to 5 days then why this much time for the main amount. Also each time i call why they are saying a different reason. This was a really bad experience from makemytrip.

                Worst hospitality is given to the customers.. Went to the ginger hotel bodakdev a 4.2 star hotel, they were sold out and still mmt gave us the room without any confirmation from the hotel... They made us wait at the hotel till evening for a check-in, had to cancel our meeting because of the # they created.. Mmt wasted our half day money and time.
                I had an operation the next day and i was strictly told by the doctors to take rest... I shared my problem with the mmt people they later sent me to some other hotel called rest-in near prahladnagar literally a 2 star hotel it felt even less than that, because of their mistake i had to suffer and instead o[censored]pgrading they gave a degraded hotel which had no provision of hot water the bathroom size was shrinked like the room, for the complementary breakfast i just got a sandwhich and wen i asked for more they charged me...
                Just no humanity left, they made their customer suffered espicially a patient wen i had an operation the next day, and wen asked for the solution the mmt people told me to give me cashback, they just dont care where would their customer sleep on road or what for that we booked a room for this service!!!

                  I booked a ticket on www.makemytrip.com (In short mmt hence forth) from pune to lucknow for 8th dec 2017, by mistake. I complaint the same day to mmt and requested to change the date from 8th dec to 8th nov. Mmt explained me that for this cancellation charges of roughly rs 2500 would be levied for each sector of this ticket, means rs 2500 for pune to delhi section and rs 2500 for delhi to lucknow sector, thus total about rs 5000. Apart from this the then fare difference will also be charged. I was not convinced with the cancellation fees for 2 sectors, when i booked a single ticket, though with change in flight. For this when i discussed with air india helpline (The concerned airline) no they very clearly told that air india takes one ticket as one, it does not relates with sectors. Hence, they told that for cancellation/change about rs 2500 (For full ticket) be levied, which was contrary to what mmt people told. Further the difference in fair they told was about rs 1800 at that time. When i told mmt then they reluctantly agreed and asked me to pay rs 4722 for making the change of my ticket from 8th dec to 8th nov. I immediately paid rs 4722 online. After some hours the mmt representative telephoned me and said that they couldn't book my ticket, as they couldn't track the pnr no of previous booked ticket. This was a sheer lie, which was quiet obvious. However, i could do nothing, accept that to hear and do my separate booking. The mmt told me that the money would be refunded in 3-4 days, but it is very unfortunate that i didnt received this rs 4722 till date after 3 weeks.

                  Since i booked another ticket and i didn't need that 8th dec ticket, so it was expected that the refund amount of my this ticket of 8th dec from pune to lucknow should be cancelled and money deposited in my account. When many days passed and i didn't received any information of ticket cancellation from mmt then i again approached air india helpline to cancel my ticket. They again told me that the cancellation charges would be for full ticket and not sector-wise. They were kind enough to cancel the ticket. But the mmt who is not that fair in its dealing has not yet cancelled my this ticket as its is being reflected as my upcoming flight (Which is already cancelled by air india).

                  These days its not possible to talk to mmt representative on helpline nos so i again took the help of faq and mmt website which showed the option of getting refund if the ticket directly cancelled from airline (As its air india in my case). Here again the same mischief that the cancellation charges for both (Pune-delhi and delhi-lucknow) sectors rather then the cancellation of whole ticket and taking the cancellation charge of rs 2500 in place of rs 5000 (Approx).

                  I am confused that why a firm like mmt has become so money greedy that it is cheating/be fooling its customers. Kindly seriously look into the matter as i registered many complaints related to this issue without any acceptable solution.

                  In nutshell there are following three issues -
                  1. Refund of rs 4722 to my hdfc account, for ticket not booked by mmt
                  2. Cancellation of my ticket dated 8th december which i've already cancelled from airlines (Air india).
                  3. Refund of the cancellation amount by deducting the cancellation charges only once.

                  I am not able to physically talk to any mmt representative so getting frustrated. If such instance will happen i will never myself do any booking on mmt and be recommend others, as it'll be better to book directly from air lines.

                  Help me please and save my money.

                    Hi.. My name is anil narayan ([protected]@gmail.com).. I am a registered member of mmt.. On 24th nov 2017.. I had gone ahead with a booking of bougainvillea in alibaugh from 26th nov to 29th nov... Accidentally i had cancelled this as the actual booking was to be done for 26th to 29th dec.. I immediately called mmt and informed them that i need to proceed with the booking as the same was already fully paid.. But no one guided me properly.. I lodged 2 complaints too refs reference id:[[protected]] mobile feedback|hotels and reference id:[[protected]] mobile feedback|hotels but all were talking to me about my refund.. I spoke to hotel staff patil and he said he would accommodate me if mmt confirms my booking... Spoke to csr (Ati) and she put me on hold for 30mins after providing clarifications from my end for nearly 30mins... I need some one to look into this immediately and or arrange for refund if my stay cannot be reinstated... Pls help.. I had paid nearly 16k from my end for this booking... Looking forward to your support as usual in resolving this exceptional request..

                    Hi there.. Last Sunday we had a call with the hotel person Mr. Rohan and MMT representative Jayant and Rohan confirmed that had MMT contacted him on 25 with regard to this booking he would have allowed me to go ahead with my booking... I had approached MMT on 24, 25 and also on the day of commencement of my booking i. e on 26..and requested them to reinstate my cancelled booking but the MMT representatives did not handle this case better and thus I lost on this opportunity.. Mr. Jayant also acknowledged over the phone that this was MMT error and he will check and come back.. Now I don't request a refund but want MMT to book a hotel as per my convenience and help me resolve this matter... Appreciate MMT usual help and assistance here to ensure my case is discussed in detail and my money utilized to the fullest.. Thanks...

                    My issue is still not resolved... It's already couple of weeks now... If MMT has made a mistake I want them to acknowledge the same and resolve this issue at the earliest.. Simply delaying the response is not the correct way to solve customer queries..

                    I was just contacted by uttkarsh from MMT.. Had to narrate the whole story to him (3rd or 4th time), I had to do the same to a MMT rep... He again contacted Rohan who had initially agreed not to refund this amount as MMT had not contacted him on or before 26th... So my case still in not resolved... Hotel guy is happy for having recd the funds... MMT is happy for having received the cut from the hotel... So who now is left unhappy... It's me the customer... Why this not being escalated within the chain if MMT have accepted its their mistake and the query is resolved by invoking vital contacts or reimburse the customer if there is an error from MMT... Why delay if the error is accepted... I need this to be escalated within the MMT chain.. They cannot be sitting on my funds like this... Pls help...

                      I had booked a airline ticket on makemytrip with booking id nf[protected] from mumbai to kolkata 15th sept, 2016 and they claim that they have refunded the amount to a account with details as given below:

                      Refund date: 01/12/16
                      Refund amount: 3498
                      Account type: icici bank a/c
                      Arn: 74332746337633646388268

                      But the account was closed at the refund date. So refund to a closed account is not possible. I am waiting for refund from the last 11 months. The bank claims its with makemytrip and vice versa.

                        My name is Trapti Agarwal and my email address is [protected]@gmail.com. I am the registered member of makemytrip.com, though never did any bookings via makemytrip.com till date. I am also, the registered member and user of Goibibo.com and must say have better experienced any issue using Goibibo.com till date. But then since I was having 555rs as wallet balance in my account, I thought of doing my flight tickets (Domestic) from makemytrip website. I also have makemytrip app downloaded on my mobile and the email address given for it is same as mentioned above. I could see that makemytrip runs referral bonus (1500 Rs. is earned by the one who refers to download the app and sign up (new user) and 2000 rs is earned by to whom it is referred to download the app and sign up (unregistered mobile no. and email address - new user). I shared the link to two of my friends - [protected]@allana.com ( Kuldeep Chaudhary) and Vansh Gupta ([protected]@gmail.com) and have not received 3000 Rs. as referral bonus ( 1500 Rs. each). Please look into this asap and credit my account with the name TRAPTI AGARWAL ([protected]@gmail.com) with 3000 Rs. as referral bonus asap.

                          Me and my family sanjay purang and saumya purang (Nf[protected] and neerja purang (Nf[protected] had a ticket to dehradun from delhi on 10th october 2017, the spice jet flight got a technical issue and returned back from air, we were told to wait for flight but till late evening could not board the flight and got the cancellation done, was told that it will be refunded in full but till date nothing has been refunded
                          You are requested to do the same or i have no option to take the matter to consumer cell, and ministry of aviation, your early reply is expected

                            I have booked a room yesterday around 9.30pm (23.11.2017) by using makemytrip at hotel baby residency, vellore, tamilnadu for rs.3060. They also send me booking id nh[protected] to my email, whatsapp as well as through sms. Also they have mentioned that "you don't need to call the hotel to reconfirm this booking"... After that in have reached the hotel and i have shown my booking id which i got from mmt to the receptionist.. After seen that confirmation message, they said that there is no rooms available at this date, also we already sent a mail at 19.11.2017 itself to close the inventory for this day. But they aren't close the inventory till now... This is not our fault, you have to talk with mmt customer care.. Like that receptionist said to me...
                            Afterthat, i have called mmt customer care at 10.41pm (23.11.2017) and asked about this.. They said that "sorry for the inconvenience sir, wait for few minutes we will make sure that and do your favour" like that they said... After that call i got a message at 11.01pm stated that ""dear harish,
                            Sit back! We are on top of your request!
                            Your request for confirming and getting check-in to the hotel for your hotel baby residency hotel (Nh[protected] has been received by us.
                            Our promise is to ensure check-in at the hotel in 1hr.
                            If we delay, then we will pay rs.100 wallet bonus per hour upto a maximum of rs.1000""... So that, i was waiting there... Waiting... Waiting... Waited for the whole night without sleep... At last by 6.30am the next day 24.11.2017 i got a call from mmt and the customer service executive said me that"sorry sir, we tried many times to reach you, but we didn't get.. So we have reached you now, we are having a better option that we will going to refund your amount.. Also we will give a voucher worth rs.1500/- after that you can use that coupon in your future bookings" like that he said.. I was waiting for the whole night, without sleep... I came here for an interview... I spend more money for this booking... Now i have only 120rs with me.. Where can i get refreshed, how can i attend the interview... What i have to do with 120rs.. Whether shall i use that to return to my hometown or shall i keep it for my breakfast.. I have suffered lot by their mistake... Will their refund equalize my all suffer made by them??, will it give job??.. Will it replace all??
                            They have to pay for all my suffer.. Kindly do the needful... Now i am going to my hometown.. Still i am waiting for my favorable action.. They need to give compensation for me..

                              I have booked my ticket through MMT Bhubanswear - Mumbai with PNR numbers are N91VFD, N91VFD, K2PNFV, As airlines(GoAir) change the departure time from BBI to Mumbai, it is impacting me to catch International flight. As this is change from airlines, I am looking for full refund so that I can book alternative flight.
                              I have raised complain on MMT with reference number:[protected]
                              The worst part is MMT is not responding to my complain. This is a very BAD experience with MMT, customer care is worst.

                                I had booked the ticket under some promotion of icici card, entered the promo code, but on payment it failed. And retry for payment page came. I tried repayment. Now mmt is not giving the cash back saying that you did not entered the promo code.. That is bit funny, seems their app has some serious issues and it removed the promo code. After continues explanation to the customer care i fed up... And forgot it.

                                This was an ugly exp with mmt mgmt, they remove the code and then will say customer u never entered it.. Many of times the payment will get failed. Customer support (Abhinav, whom i was interecting) sent me exactly same email 10 times on my reply.

                                Such a pathetic service mmt gives.

                                Thanks for reading, beware of this monster.

                                  1) in the month of jan.17 i cancelled one ticket of airindia. Makemytrip.com has not repaid my taxes. How they can keep the taxes after collecting from the customer? When i complained got reply that i have to write to other site.
                                  I donot know why they keep cheating people.
                                  2) when i go for flight booking, on every step the price increases. And after repeated log in the price still goes up. Also the conveyance charges are added. They justfy that it is routine. Where as some sites it is not like that.
                                  Ever for hotel booking they show one price and on proceeding to next step they increase it. It is all programmed so that extract as much as possible for the customer.

                                    Hotel staff refused to give room. Whereas we had already booked 4 room from makemytrip in advance.

                                    We had a group of 10 people, including women and children. Our hotel booking was started from 10 o'clock. But due to our train time, we arrived at the hotel at 9 o'clock. When we showed the booking ticket to the hotel staff/owner, he refused to clear, that there is no booking on ours. And he said that he cannot help us, we have to talk directly to the mmt customer care.

                                    Then, when it started talking to the customer care. He lasted 3 hours. And had to call about 10 to 15 times during this time. And customer careers blocked our mobile numbers also. The customer care were not ready to take any responsibility. We needed to talk to different mobile phones every time. And during this time our whole group had to wait on the road outside the hotel.

                                    Customer care representatives were also unwilling to make any help. They were saying that you have any other arrangements; we will refund your money. But on our repeated talk, we were given a hotel at 12 o'clock.

                                    Our this experience with makemytrip was very bad that spoiled our tour in the entire morning and our tour planning. And the entire group had to wait for 3 hours outside the hotel. Very disappointing accident.

                                      At the time of cancellation for my trip booking from make my trip booking id: nf[protected] make my trip mobile application showed me free cancellation on their mobile application and that the refund amount after cancellation is rs.1, 696/- which is in full but at the time of refund make my trip just sent me a refund of rs.251/- instead of rs.1, 696/-.

                                        I requested mmt to keep the status of my ticket as open. They confirmed that it is done.
                                        After a month i called mmt to book the flight, they charged me additional fees and sent an email informing that my ticket is booked.
                                        Next day morning when i woke up, i got an email from mmt reading 'your booking is cancelled and your refund is processed' - i was shocked.
                                        The refund amount was less than half of what i paid.
                                        Since i stay in qatar, i had to start the marathon of international calls to reach mmt.
                                        On 11 november 2017 very promptly and efficiently avijit mujumbar from mmt called and informed that do not worry mam, we will refund all the amount as this cancellation is not your fault. He also sent me an email reading 'we will process your fell refund'.
                                        I immediately sent an email to avijit asking him confirm whatever he said on the phone i. E. The amount of full refund.

                                        Ever since i sent this email, avijit disappeared. I called mmt on 16 november to follow up and speak to avijit but the executive informed that he was unavailable and an email is marked to avijit requesting him to call me back.
                                        Unsurprisingly this did not happen.
                                        I got an auto email saying ' please wait, we are working on your refund'.

                                        To this insensible email, i again sent an email on no activity again.

                                        Today on 20 november (9 days after the incident) i again got an email from arindam saha saying "please wait, we are working on your refund'.

                                        I am on call since 1.5 hours with mmt with no resolution.

                                        And now i am informed we will revert to you when the airlines revert to us.

                                        This cheating and fraud as at the time of booking, mmt charged the payment and at the time of refund they are saying we are waiting for airline.

                                        Wherein i have nothing to do with the airline. I made the booking with mmt who took service charge from me.

                                        There is no solution still!!

                                        I have suffered so much of mental torture with mmt by fighting with them, shouting for 40 minutes continuously.

                                        I should not only just receive my refund back but also the compensation for mental agony i suffered.
