Hello i have booked an european dream trip from one of your priority partner based in bhubaneswar named as royal holidays. Which was bought on 2015 july with booking id nl[protected]. My visa had been cancelled 3 days prior to my booking. By which i could not go for that trip but have done my full payment. Still now its been more than 2 yrs i had not been refunded my money and your priority partner is saying to file a case against make my trip. So what do i do. Please suggest... Am been mentally harrassed since 2yrs.

We are sorry to read about the issue. Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused.

In reference to your complaint, while validating your case we have found that, the total booking amount was Inr 38013/- out of which Inr 20, 000/- was paid by customer on 15-Sep-17 at 12:46hrs. and there was balance amount of Inr 18013 which needs to be paid by customer till 21:00hrs. as per the confirmation mail sent However, balance payment was not made by the customer on time. Team has sent multiple reminders and also made call to customer to make balance payment but, balance payment was made by customer at 23:27 hrs on 15-Sep-17. However, timeline for making balance payment was 21:00hrs. on 15-Sep still team has waited till 22:00 hrs for payment and sent multiple reminders to customer but, payment was not made within advised time frame due to which booking was cancelled by the backend team. As checked, team has processed a refund of Inr 36969/- post deducting minimum charges of Inr 1044/-. We regret to inform you that, no further refund is possible on this case. We thank you for contacting us.

In reference to your complaint, while validating your case we have found that, the Visa rejection happened just three days prior to the travel start date. And as per booking cancellation policy (which was shared with customer before confirming the booking), within 3 days booking fall under full package cost as cancellation charges since at the last moment airline, vendors don’t provide any refund against cancellation. So, we regret to inform you that no refund is applicable on this booking.

    Dear sir,
    I am writing to complain about the cancellation of my confirmed flight to paris on november 15th (
    Booking id nn[protected].

    The status of this booking has been "confirmed" on my booking page since payment was processed around mid-september and until departure day.
    Also i had not received any mail from mmt about any payment failure, change or cancellation of my booking.
    However at the airport checking counter 3 hours before my flight, i was told this ticket has been canceled since mid-september.
    After contacting mmt by phone, i was told this booking was canceled because of payment failure.
    However the payment was done in 2 transactions : rs20, 000 by debit card and rs18, 013 by bank of india internet banking, both successful.
    No effort was made by your representative on the phone to help me get on my flight and i was only offered some apologies for the inconvenience and told that on top of everything i would have to pay a cancellation fee!!!
    Since i had some important arrangements in france and onward trains and hotel bookings, i had no choice bu to buy a new ticket with airfrance at the cost of 55817rs.
    I will now appreciate if you can finally recognize your full responsibility in this matter and act upon it. Of course not only do i absolutely refuse to pay any cancellation fee, but i also expect you to to cover the extra charges i had to pay to get onto my scheduled air france flight.

    this is scandalous and i will make a point of advertising your revolting conduct on social medias. These are plain lies : You never contacted me about payment problems and cancellation of ticket. Proof of this is my ticket was still "confirmed" on your site until departure. Refusing to take responsibility for your mistakes demonstrate how poor your business standards are. I feel sorry for all the customers and employees you are thus cheating daily.

      Makemytrip started doing fraud by cheap techniches by increasing prices while doing booking on click. Mmt i never saw this open cheating phase of makemytrip. They are under track your each and every second of macro of screen track you and increase bill in seconds of click. Stop cheat you shameless website makemytrip i am your regular customer, before it was not happening now a days you are getting fraudalant crores of rupees turnover profit whole india under fraud by you. Makemytrip started cheat. Public fraud mmt on the name of fake trust. Stop fluctuating prices on the name of automation don't manually change this prices while tracking per customer you shameless cheater. Price changes in thousands of rupees within seconds. From yesterday i observed same mercyless techniche you cheaters and fraud of india. Prices, wantedly increasing by this website. Shame

        I tried cancellation of my existing booking but unable to cancel or reschedule my flight from last 24 hours. Neither the customer care support nor the toll free number is working. If you try to cancel on app or website, it will say can't be cancelled check with toll free number & when you try to do from toll free, it will say the opposite. Both the time & money is getting lost. This is really pathetic services provided by mmt. I recommend nobody to use this service.
        This is really disgusting.
        Who is responsible for the loss i am suffering?

          Hi,

          I have booking my flight tickets on 10th of october 2017 via make my trip from (Chennai to melbourne) qantas airways and my booking id is nn[protected] and the travel date was 22nd october 2017.

          Chennai to melbourne it was a connecting flight via singapore, we have almost 9 to 10 hours stay in singapore based on tickets me and my wife planned for 1 day tour in singapore and want to make some memories but due to make my trip miscommunication my plan flop and i suffered mentally.

          On 22nd of oct we have a flight from chennai to singapore via qantas airways what make my trip people mention on tickets please have a look on tickets for evidence, we reached to airport 2hours before starting flight start looking for qantas airways almost we wasted 30 minutes by searching for qantas airways, after that someone helped on airport that chennai airport will not directly deal with qantas airways it might me jet airways, by the time i reach to jet airways counter still 1:30 hr left to take off flight but they refused to check in because we are just 30 min late, how come? No seats available it is not like first come first serve right, we paid almost more than 60 thousand and start requesting that people to allow for check-in, i don’t want my plan should go waste for that purpose i pleased them but no result, finally that jet airways counter person said that our names is not there in the list, i surprised how come they will do a blunder mistake, i started calling make my trip customer care the solution i got from them is it is qantas airways only and the chennai airport clearly said we directly don’t deal with qantas then where is the flight and i keep calling make my trip people, i mentally disturbed i paid more than 60 thousand for nothing and simply make my trip people said after 24 hours they will come up with solution what i should do in airport for 24 hours, simply he answered if you want to travel now please book another tickets and go we are helpless.

          My flight was their at mid night 2 clock and seriously they harassed me mentally it was my first international trip with my wife i planned we planned so much but on airport itself everything vanished, just by seeing my situation jet airways said we will try to do something other side makemytrip simply hands up in the name of 24 hours,

          Finally jet airways arranged a ticket for me from chennai to singapore but the flight is indigo at morning 5 clock, i booked a good flight by spending more money for amenities with food and in indigo we don’t even get a glass of water, why i should pay that much amount when i didn’t get all services what i paid for and from 12 clock to till morning 5 clock i was mentally disturbed with tension don’t know i can travel or not.

          After reaching singapore again i should collect my luggage and check in with qantas airways due to that my plan disturbed i cannot use 1 day tour in singapore what i planned for and i faced mental torture.

          From chennai to singapore i didn’t use the services what i paid for then why i should pay that complete amount and i placed complain to make my trip after 1 week or 2 weeks they get back to me though i’m not satisfy with their solution simply i got a mail from them issue resolved for evidence i have attached email screen short with dates.

          Makemytrip offered me 2000 to 3000rs voucher, why i should take voucher after facing this type of experience how can i use their services again after baring that torture, im looking for some ex amount of refund not in the form of voucher, i told them im going to raise complaint against them in forum still they don’t care and keep saying we can give only voucher that’s it.

          I kindly request for the forums please take an action against make my trip and do justification for me, i came to forum with lot of expectations please do something and today what happen with me they should not repeat with others.

            I am trying to modify my flight on 19th december, del to vtz on 6e 5313 to 20th december, same time same flight.

            I tried twice through your website. I could not do so. It says - mmt will contact me within 6 hours. Nobody calls and i always get message saying unable to contact. I tried to contact several times through your contact number. It is always a recorded message and direct to go through website.

            Therefore, i am unable to modify my journey.

            Please help.

                Flight ticket from goa to bangalore was booked through makemytrip.com on 24th of july 2016 for travel dated 4th sep 2016.

                I received a message on sep 1 2016 stating that the goa - blore flight which is air pegasus was cancelled due to operational issue. Make my trip never took any responsibility at that time to help us move to a different flight. I had to make another booking on indigo flight for my return from goa to bangalore paying additional charges.

                After this i have called makemytrip several times for my refund but till date (Now almost 10 months) they have not refunded the amount of rs.5906.

                They are also misleading/lying as many times they have confirmed on call that they have initiated a refund process to my account. When asked again, they say that when the airlines refunds the amount only then they will refund the amount to the customers.

                My point is that my transaction was with them - i had made the payment/business with makemytrip and it’s their duty and responsibility to refund my money. What happens between them and their vendors is not the consumer’s problem! Why should they list service providers that are faulty??

                Makemytrip seems to have cheated me and is continuing to do so, by not refunding my money. Please help me in sorting out this issue.

                When you make a booking, the fare amount is transferred to the airline. When a flight is cancelled or when a passenger decides to cancel, the due amount is received back from the airline which we refund back to the Customer.

                At this juncture, the airline has still not refunded the due amount back to us and the entire industry is chasing Air Pegasus. I hope you will at least appreciate that we don’t run the airline. The situation of Air Pegasus is well known to all o[censored]s. What I can assure you is that MakeMyTrip is not holding your money and never will. Till now Airline did not provide any time line for the refund. The moment we get this back from the airline we will start the refund process. I also assure you once again that the issue is faced by all flyers regardless of where and who they booked their ticket from.

                We are constantly asking the airline. We will begin refund the moment airline directs us to do so.

                Request your patience under these force majeure conditions.

                Assuring you best of our services.

                  I had made booking from make my trip, for jaipur to hyderabad dated 1st march 2017, the carrier was air costa lb 636, holding booking nf[protected] which we got from make my trip. The flight got cancelled from airlines side, but still till date we have not received amount from make my trip. Whenever i call then they just say 'once we receive amount from the airlines we will refund back'. But my question is we have paid money to make my trip and make my trip should refund the money. I am not concern that the get money from air costa.

                    On 14th nov i booked 2 tickets from bom to blr for 6th december. I paid amount through netbanking which was rs. 5281. My amount got deducted but i didn't get any msg or email for my tickets confirmation. I tried to call customer care number but they are asking last 4 digit of booking id which i don't have as i didn't get any msg or mail from mmt. I have been following up with mmt on mail since 14th nov but till now i didn't get any resolution or update on my issue. I have sent approximately 10 emails to mmt to consider the issue on highest priority but they are least bother about customer issue.

                    Hence i request consumer court to help me out with this.

                      I am bhavik shah. I had book a room in hotel ibis styles jumeria dubai on 3rd september through makemytrip. I had made all the payments while booking. I got a confirmation from mmt that my booking is confirmed and i don't need to contact the hotel authorities or mmt. Last week i. E on 11th nov i called at the hotel for some query.. I was shocked to know that my booking isn't confirmed yet. Maintaining my compose i called the toll free no. Of mmt, i was told they would revert in 48hours. However there was no reply, so i called again, but of no use i got the same stereotypical reply.
                      No action has been taken yet about my booking. I am traveling to dubai with family on 4th dec. What should i do now?
                      Makemytrip seemed very authentic to me but now i really doubt their credibility.
                      It's really disgraceful on your part.
                      I need this matter to be resolved asap.

                        Hotel booking and payment made for 8 th nov 2017 to 12th nov 2017 vide booking id nh[protected].. Pnr [protected] by make my trip for hotel sheraton, opp gujarat college ellis bridge.

                        On reaching ahmedabad at this address on 8 th nov night at 11 pm with my wife and baby, there is a "four points by sheraton" but they said they have no such booking by make my trip. I called mmt helpline. They took on conference the said hotel personnel one kishan (The said sheraton is 15 knm away from ellis bridge... Opp seema hall, satellite, ahmedabad) who also claimed he did not have such booking. Then mmt personnel assured me that alternative accommodation will be arranged for me in some other hotel and asked me to wait at this "four points by sheraton".

                        After that all calls to the mmt helpline failed to connect us to any human interface and directed me to their website link to manage bookings. I waited in "four points by sheraton" reception till 1 am in the morning with my wife and baby and then moved in to a small nearby hotel with the help of "four points by sheraton" staff.
                        I made a complaint through their website asking for refund and compensation. Till now they have not resolved the issue and not made any refund of advance payment collected.

                          I have booked flight through makemytrip app (Reference id:[protected] and for the same payment it has been deducted twice. One is successful and i cancelled that flight. That amount has been credited but the 2nd deducted amount has not been refunded.
                          I have confirmed the same with bank, they told it has been credited. Sr number for bank reference : sr[protected].

                            It’s been 2-3 weeks i’m asking for invoice copy from make my trip people bcuz i had paid the whole amount (21, 130₹) through online while booking the hotel after which the hotel gave us the invoice copy for 70% (11, 800₹) of amount while checking out and told us to talk to make my trip to provide us the invoice of rest of the amount (9300₹).
                            3-4 reminders i have sent through my mail to which they don’t even reply
                            I asked them to arrange a call but still there isn’t any call yet.
                            I still had sent a mail through app also as they will see or respond because even their calls get disconnected... How should we even reach to people if we are in need for certain things.

                                Hi team,

                                Let me be on the point.

                                I gave my booking for 3 separate rooms from your site, at the time of booking it was showing as 3 rooms only, however, after the booking got confirmed i came to know that my booking has been done for dormitory shared rooms + 3 rooms reservation is done.

                                I could not understand when is 3 rooms booking done then why was it showing as dormitory, the moment i reached at hotel then i found that my booking is there for dormitory.

                                It is completely non sense topic on which i had a discussion with the manager, the person made me to pay inr 1200 for one night stay, though i reached here at 12:30 am (My train was late).

                                I want my complete amount back as this is straight cheat with a client.

                                  I booked my indigo flight ticket through make my trip, booking id : emt28663031 on dt. 01/11/17, but due to postpone of my plan i cancel my ticket on dt.03/11/17, but till im not getting my refund amount, numbers of time i called mmt customer care center some executives says that payment will refund and some says that amount refund already, but till i don't get any refund amount, i ask for transition id through mail and till waiting for reply, kindly lok in to the matter.

                                    I made a hotel reservation at delhi airport with booking id-in 1711bos4530590 in taurus hotel & convention, near the airport on november 6, 2017 from your counter at the airport. I paid irs 3, 500.00 cash for the reservation of hotel and was given hotel confirmation voucher and informed cash receipt to be taken from the hotel. As it was late night and had to leave early in the morning, the hotel receptionist was confused and could not issue the bill (Receipt) and informed, they issue no bills or receipt on booking from make my trip. Hence would like to request you to issue a cash receipt / bill for the hotel reservation and mail it.

                                      I booked a hotel from make my trip and received confirmation mail for the same after deduction of full payment and i received a call after 15 days starting my booking is not confirmed and person over the phone behaving very rude on top of that. When we directly called the property, the owner said we don't entertain makemytrip at all. I feel cheated. Also as a compensation they are offering a property which is half of price than actual booking

                                        Invece never seen such a lagging process for refunding our amount. My trip is done at month of september and some problems also been told to resolve. Every time we call they wll listen like it’s a fairy tale and no proper response for our refund.. For their payment they wll make ppl run like dogs but when it comes to tourists also same happening keeping onnnn dragging isshues to resolve... Testing patience is not gud for ur company... Mind it tht u wll get bad reputation for ur cons... Don’t try to play with tourist.. Remember this... Writing complaints is not achievement for u... We don’t give up.. Don’t u give respect rite.. We wll never travel with fraud promises company like urs..
