Dear sir,

I would like to share my views about my experience with your company's service with following points:-

1. I booked two rooms of shri shyam sheba ashram, vrindavan on saturday, 30th september 2017 through makemytrip mobile app for 1st october 2017 journey.

2. Booking was confirmed and i got sms as well as email also regarding the same.

3. We reached the destination on 1st october and we were told by the hotel staff that our booking was canceled and they informed about the same to makemytrip also.

4. No one from makemytrip took the pain to call me about the cancelation and when i called up they said that my phone was out of reach.

5. I never keep my phone on switch off mode and even if it was going out of reach, i'm available on email. No one bothered to send email also.

6. It is when i reached there and got to know that my booking is canceled, i called up makemytrip then they told me that they are sorry about the cancelation and my refund will be processed soon

7. First, i'm not concerned about refund now, i'm searching solutions for three problems, (1) if hotel canceled the booking at last moment then why you allowed this to happen?? (2) if hotel canceled the booking well on time, why you didn't inform me on time?? And (3) what about mental / physical inconvenience caused to me and to my family members??

8. I'm expecting solid action from your side other than ' sorry '

After your successful ipo this wasn't expected from your company. Such things will bring down the reputation of the company sooner or later.

    Am subrahmanyam, my mobile number is [protected] and my booking id: nu[protected]. My bus ticket for jurny on 2nd oct is confirmed from makemytrip & ramanatravels but i got massage from ramanatravels
    And its cancelled by the ramana travels
    But still i did not get any information about cancellation form makemytrip this is very bad my jurny is very important to me i tried for other buses but the tickets are not available at the moment you people should anwer for the cancellation kindly give me reply immediately for refund

      I am a regular customer of mmt & i recently booked kop to bangalore (Rani chennama) train ticket. Train no. 16590. Journey date is 28th oct. The amount (Rs.1615/- for 2nd a/c class) has been deducted from account (Corporation bank, himdupur, andra pradesh. Ref no.[protected]) but ticket n booking confirmation /mail not received till. Kindly acknowledge the complaint n revert at the earliest.

        Iam a regular customer of mmt and i recently booked delhi-sfo-delhi return ticket (Air india) worth rs 1, 87, 000/- from "make my trip" website just because i was getting rs 11000/- as a bonus cashback in my wallet. Although booking directly from air india was approx 5000 cheaper but i was tempted by this 11000 cashback offer.

        Later when i tried to use my wallet, to my utter disbelief i was informed that either i can use 5% of the booking amount or rs 500 from my wallet whichever is lower.. Omg is this some kinda joke???

        This is daylight robbery and a big fraud.. You guys are cheaters number one... Remember mmt guys, customers are very unforgiving and bad word spreads like crazy... You have not only lost one customer but my entire friend circle, my entire family members and my entire business circle wont buy from you anymore.

        This is ridiculuous!!!

        I had the exact same experience.
        They hide behind the Terms and conditions and cheat the customer. Also the cashback wallet amount has an expiry so you will have to use an insane amount of money booking through MMT just to use the cashback and that will give them more business.
        Its just best to forget amount that wallet money as its not real money anyway and NEVER use MMT again.
        Most importantly tell all of your friends and colleagues about this daylight robbery!!!

          I paid rs. 1802 from my bank account for a booking on 23rd september 2017 and makemytrip tells me that the transaction has not gone through, and has not provided any transaction id or confirmation. The amount has been deducted from my bank account, though. I got a message stating me to re-do the booking.
          I spoke to the customer care after great difficulty and i was told that i should wait for 90 minutes and then check the status. If the booking is not confirmed, then i should re-do the fresh booking. The old amount would be refunded.
          Accordingly, i made a fresh booking with makemytrip for rs1802 and this time it was successful.
          However, even after 1 week, i see that the initial amount of rs1802 is not yet refunded.
          Speaking to the call center is not helping since they are not able to understand the use case. Even after providing the bank statement, they are not able to understand why they owe a refund. Can someone please intervene and help? It is almost impossible to call make my trip since their ivr menu needs a booking id.in case of failed bookings, there is no booking id.

          My flight rescheduled by qatar airways from 2.30am to 17.30pm

          But according the rules not suppose to deduct cancelation charge but they have deducted

            I had rescheduled my flight dated 29th september-02nd october to 30thdec-14th january. The website confirmed the booking to me, as shown in the attachment, and had promised me a refund of rs: 7368/- but i never got the refund amount, and when i called them for inquiry, they said that in their records, there were no such transaction made. Now today already it is 29th, they havent responded. Also, yesterday i called the customer care and spoke to them for 3 hours trying to convince them. Why should i convince them to return back my money??? I had paid total rs: 21 thousand for the entire flight and they arent refunding back any money. This is intolerable.

            Actually i had cancelled my booked train before 4 days but i didn't recieved any refund amount please check this and give refund.

              Hello,

              This is regarding the horrible experience with make my trip i have faced and agony my family went through after paying premium.

              I had booked a trip to singapore & malaysia for 7 nights 8 days trip after paying rs. 213000 (Wherein i had an offer from local agent for rs. 185000 almost everything same however considering good brand name of mmt and commitment given by sales person ms. Pooja kabra i decided to go for mmt).
              The pricing kept changing due to flight pricing change however the same time mmt website kept offering lower rates however ms. Pooja kabra kept insisting that i have received a great offer considering all activities are included (Though the mmt website also shown the same package but i believed ms. Kabra as she kept telling me that there are lots of hidden charges with mmt on online offers).
              Considering all the things i decided to book my trip with mmt on 19th august 2017 and made first payment after which i suppose to get the details for requirements for visa however after long follow ups mmt team contacted me for the documentation and they gave reason that they contacted me earlier but i did not speak to anyone of them, i still considered the request and sent the documents as per my knowledge as visa person ms. Rama was not accessible on phone. After sending documents i kept receiving reminders to send the documents for visa.
              I received my visa and i was relaxed that my trip is finalized but in between i started realizing that once i have made the payments mmt team has stopped giving priority to me as money was in their pockets.
              On 9th september 2017 i started following up with team to share me the details of my trip as travel dates were near however i received the documents (So called vouchers) only by 19th september 2017 wherein i had raised the queries on additional luggage has not been added to my tickets wherein response came from ms. Kabra that do not worry everything has been added and taken care (Again i believed on mmt team).
              As the flight was at 1.20 am it was a tough time as i was travelling with kid and wife so i thought we will get rest after reaching hotel and first day of trip was at our leisure but to our surprise at airport no one was there to receive us and after multiple attempts and searching we could able to connect some people on airport from luxury tours and travels (Vendor of mmt) they told us they will arrange for transfer to hotel and they gave us one sheet of paper just mentioning time of reporting and location we are going to visit which we thought some issue. Taxi dropped us to hotel where we realized that check in time is only at 3 pm and we have to wait, we had no option but to sit at reception till 3 pm. We got a room and to our surprise the room was so small after paying huge sum for the hotel (Ibis novena). Full day was wasted without any activity or any local guide calling us and informing about nearby places which we can cover rather than just sitting at room.
              Next day again one bus comes and picks up for universal studios where some local lady talking about the rules and regulations of for the studios and pick up time (Lady was not even able to talk), bus just drops us at universal and goes off telling they will come and pick us up at 7 pm.
              Third day was better off where one cab comes and picks us and drops us to mmt local office for half day city tour and sentosa island in evening and local guide spoke few details of singapore till the time they dropped to sentosa island for sight seeing on our own.
              The most horrible thing started off from the 4th day where one cab picked us up from hotel to singapore zoo and just dropped us in front of zoo and told us that he does not know anything about pick up, then i had to call up mmt tour manager rohan he told some other bus will come and pick us up in evening after night safari. Local guide came with other group and told us as we were not part of earlier group we have to just follow him we accepted as we did not have any options. After night safari (8.45pm) local guide informs us that we have to wait till 10 pm as some members are having dinner wherein we told him we did not come with this group why do we wait as we had flight in morning at 9 am and we need to start from hotel by 6.45 am but he was so rude he told us that if you are in hurry please take your cab and go from here, even talking to mmt tour manager did not help.
              We could only reach hotel by 11 pm and next day cab dropped us to airport for flight to kuala lumpur where after reaching scoot airlines desk we realized our luggage was not added and we need to pay 96 singapore dollars after multiple calls to mmt tour manager and call center they asked to make the payments as there was some issue at their end.
              Some or other way we reached kuala lumpur and realize that there no one to pick us up after calling all possible contacts given by mmt we realized that there is no pick up arranged for us again due to some confusions internally. We had to take cab (Paid 135 ringgets) and reached hotel again we realize that hotel rooms will be available only after 3 pm and we had to wait at reception (No food, no place to freshen up).
              Again no activities for the day, and next day driver comes and picks up and drop us to sunway lagoon again the same dropping at the gate and leaving. No information that it’s a water park and we may need to carry extra clothing.
              Next day driver comes and picks up for genting highland and batu caves again same here dropping off to the places and informing only pick up time.
              I had kept discussing the genting highland with ms. Kabra if the same was worth visiting as someone told its under renovation however she insisted to go ahead and only after reaching to place we realised that there was nothing apart from mall which we could have seen anywhere in bangalore also.
              As per the details shared with us by ms. Kabra twin towers were included in our trip but local vendor says it was not informed to them and hence the same was not covered.

              Please tell me how much pain i have gone through after paying a premium for this trip, we thought it was mentally disturbing to keep arranging your own trip when you have paid to mmt to manage the same. We saw many travel agencies managing this at singapore & malaysia where one local person was available at all the times for all the support and guidance.
              I would suggest all my friends and family not to try mmt anytime for their trips.

                I booked an online airline ticket with my credit card through this makemytrip platform. But very next day there was a fraud in my credit card by some international travel company even without sharing my otp. My details was captured my this site. I suggest you not to depend on this site and directly book through main airline site.

                In regards to subject, I have written several times to make my trip. After taking money 3 weeks prior, I am told there is no reservation when I reach my booked hotel at Hongkong.
                Make my trip used my money without making any bookings and now they are writing since past 10 days that someone will contact me.

                  ticketing information and cancellation

                  I booked two return tickets to new york on sunday 24th sept 2017. When i booked the first ticket the system showed that i qualified for a cash back offer.
                  While booking the second ticket i tried to use the cash back but the system just kept stalling without giving me any further information and i wasn't able to use the cash back.
                  I called the customer service and asked for help. They kept transferring me to different desks until...

                  I am kamakshya nath panda mob no.- [protected] using makemy trip app in my motorola mobile phone. I tried to book flight ticket from mumbai to delhi on 26 sept 2017 at 4:05:11 hours, but ticket is not generated and an amount of 4099/- got deducted from my canara bank account.
                  Customer service executives are also not responding my calls and

                    24th of september when i am just checking the same flight charge in makemytrip, suddenly they debited my money and booked the same flight ticket, but i didnt proceed to payment even not put the opt also (Though being mmt customer my bank details i keep save there.) details-

                    Amount charged-8416/-

                    I immediately informed mmt to cancel my flight tickets and give me refund, coz if i cancel i will get very less amount. After several follow up i have not received any positive response yet.
                    I want mmt to cancel that ticket from their end and give me full refund. I will escalate this issue unlil i get justice.

                    On 7th October it was last updated that they are looking into this and the case has been forwarded to Jet airline on priority basis.
                    After that I have sent so many messages to Facebook account of MMT, but no getting any response.
                    I wrote a review to get my answer, that too was hidden from their time line ! Just see that I can't write review on their site now!

                    I want to ask why Makemytrip doing like this ??
                    Why they are not resolving my complaint and close this case ?

                    On 24th September I booked jet airways flight ticket for9th Jan from Yatra.com, details-
                    Jet airways- 9W-2474
                    Airline PNR- XVTPOB
                    Amount charged-8266/-

                    At the same time when I am just checking the same flight charge in Makemytrip, suddenly they debited my money and booked the same flight ticket, but I didnt proceed to payment even not put the opt also(though being MMT customer my bank details I keep save there.) As per bank this is happened due to technical error of MMT payment gateway. details-
                    Booking ID: NF[protected]
                    Jet airways- 9W-2474
                    Airline PNR- FIUJIO
                    Amount charged-8416/-

                    I immediately informed both MMT and jet airways to cancel my flight tickets and give me full refund, coz if I cancel I will get very less amount. After several follow up I have not received any positive response yet. They told I only get very less amount after deduction of cancellation charges and penalties.

                    I want airlines and Makemytrip to cancel that ticket from their end and give me full refund. Why I will accept this type of injustice with is not my fault? I will escalate this issue until I get justice.

                    1. MMT informed me that airline confirmed them If I have same flight same time booking with same details then they will initiate full refund.
                    I have same flight booking with same details as I mentioned earlier. They informed me if airline initiate full refund then MMT process full refund immediately.

                    2. MMT wrongly debited my money Rs.8416 and booked the same flight ticket which already I have been purchased. That is my fault ?

                    3. Being a MMT customer I keep save my all details along with my bank details in MMT, as per bank MMT is authorised with them, that's the reason they debited the money without otp. That is my fault ??

                    4. When I already purchased the same flight ticket then why shall I book the same flight ticket again and let go my 8416 rs wasted ? Why I will not get full refund ? Why should I pay cancellation charge and penalties?

                    On 7th October it was last updated that they are looking into this and the case has been forwarded to Jet airline on priority basis.
                    After that I have sent so many messages to Facebook account of MMT, but no getting any response.
                    I wrote a review to get my answer, that too was hidden from their time line ! Just see that I can't write review on their site now!

                    I want to ask why Makemytrip doing like this ??
                    Why they are not resolving my complaint and close this case ?

                      Railway booking is done through irctc. But i donot get any mail on my registered mail id "[protected]@yahoo.in". So how can i know about my bookings. Niether i get the mail regarding my booking of flights. Now i have to cancel some of my booked tickets, but when i have no details how i will cancel them. So pls arrange to send all my bookings either rail or flight to my above mail id and also let me know how to cancel them.

                            Hi,

                            I booked a hotel through makemytrip last week. My booking id: nh2p[protected]. I called the hotel guys to know more about the amenities provided by the hotel. Apparently it was a very average hotel. When i asked them, they informed me that the cost of the room you booked is 1350 (Including taxes). I was shocked to see that the same hotel mmt has projected the price to be 4100 rs in the invoice and has given me some discount. Even after discount, i am charged 2310 rs for the room, which is way more than the original hotel cost. Really frustrated with makemytrip!!!

                            I tried mailing mmt and they came up with generic answers like there is a price fluctuation, long weekend charges, etc. But my point is if hotel is not charging extra for long weekend then why makemytrip is charging me. I tried calling makemytrip but there is a automated machine and no representative is available to talk to understand my concerns.

                              Yesterday 24th sep i was searching flight tickets for 9th jan'18 on both site makemytrip and yatra.com
                              I booked my tickets from yatra.com but suddenly due to some technical error my money was debited from makemytrip also. But i didnt want to booked the tickets from makemytip even i didn't put the otp. Immediately i called makemutrip.com and yatra.com they said they cant do anything if now i cancel my tickets i only get 530/- out of 8416/-, if jet airways cancel my ticket then only i can get my full refund. Then i called up jet airways to cancel my ticket from their end and give me my full refund. I want justice for same flight same tickets i charged twice. Hence im requesting to jet airways to cancel either yatra (8266/-) or makemytrip ticket (8416/-) and give my full refund please. Its a question of your reputation also.
                              I know if airlines cancel one of my booking either makemytrip or yatra.com then i can get full refund and the justice. Hence i would be expecting a positive response from ur organisation.

                                - even though i have booked for 5 nights and 6 days package, booking confirmation shows 3 days 4 nights – this is wrong
                                - booking confirmation email shows, start date 9th december to 12th december – this is wrong (It should say 9th december to 14th december)
                                - i have contacted customer care many times to get this corrected, what i hear is, assurance every time is that – i will get a call from customer care center by end of the day with correct information (I should have received a call by eod:22nd friday day, this end of the day did not came till today). I have not received a single call from make my trip till now!!!

                                  You have submitted a wrong amount of money to the hotel which is 1700 but the actual value is 1200. I would like you to resend the actual value of the hotel to the hotel to make it easier for us to coordinate. I booked it from bangalore which showed me 600 per night at maria rosa resort but the email that had been sent to the hotel was charging 850 per night which is a very big issue right now so please do the needful and make sure that you send the correct email to the hotel as you have charged me extra fee.

                                    I had booked two hotels through your valueable portal for stay at varansi and allahabad vide

                                    Id no. Nh [protected] (Pnr [protected]) respectively.

                                    In confirmation to the above bookings i was informed by you vide your email having id to pay 18% gst extra to the hotel at the counter.
                                    While confirming from the hotel as well as from the sales tax department of the hotel i was informed by them that the gst charged for the hotel industry is @12% to the base fare.
                                    Your intimation to pay rs 441.00 to polomax is an deflated fifor the gures and does becomes cause querrel with the hotel mnagement.

                                    Therefore, my request is to correct the rate of gst to 12% and avoid creating confusion and over charges to the guest.

                                    Such matters do fall under litigation as you are passing wrong information to the guest.

                                    At polomax allahabad after lot of fighting and calling upon sales tax, i have been ultimately charged for rs 146.96+146.96 as gst over the base fare of rs 2449.30 which is bonafide proof with me, you and the hotel.

                                    If this is so i am unable to understand your calculation of rs 441.00
                                    This is exactly 18% on the base fare of rs 2449.30

                                    Please remove this anamoly on the subject, and let me know whether my perception is right or wrong.
                                    This would be high value for long relation.
                                    I could heard from the hotels thereare large numbers of guest who are frustrated on this anamoly.
                                    In the larger interest of the guest, matter needs to be refferred to the haryana and up sales tax deptt for their understanding and clarification, to avoid overcharging.

                                    Hope, this will draw your attention and i would be informed of the factual position in the subject.

                                      Dear sir,

                                      I had a flight ticket booking cancellation with makemytrip for my indigo cok to dxb ticket on 31/05/2017. Over the phone indigo airlines told me that they have cancelled the ticket and for the refund contact makemytrip. I sent a mail on 06/06/2017 to makemytrip asking for the refund. Makemytrip communication reference id is[protected]. After some mail communication they informed on 13/06/2017 that there is no money to refund after all the charges. And on 14/06/2017 they informed that there is a refund of inr 4, 918/-.

                                      The issue now is the account which i used for ticket booking closed on 11/07/2017. The information regarding the closure of my account informed to makemytrip with the closure certificate along with new account details to process the refund. Until now they didn't refund the money and now they are acting like they didn't have any responsibility as they have refunded the money to old account.

                                      Please help me to get the refund. Looking for your kind support. Following are the details of flight ticket:-
