Reference to nh[protected].

Terrible experience on domestic hotel by makemytrip - the hotel property was closed when i arrived at the location in kovalam, kerela.

Waited for couple of hours for a customer care executive to be able to resolve the issue. (With my kid age 4yrs). Executives kept passing me on from one to another, mentioning they will get back in 20mins.

I had also pinged ritwik khare on facebook (Hoping for some response since he happens to be in management), nopes - no response from him too. It is 16 aug today, while the incident happened on 12 aug.

Locals tell that it has been sold out nearly 5 yrs back!

After the wait time of 2 hrs i was given options that were not at all a match to what i had selected and booked. One executive - mrinal mishra finally mentioned he will escalate to higher authorities but i will need to wait for 24hrs for revert. How can slas be so high in such critical situations when a tourist is stranded in an unknown place with a child!

It was a long weekend so none of the good hotels were available! I finally after some tour around the city could manage a room (Due to the hotel's last minute cancellation).

Since then (13 aug) till today (16 aug) - there is no response, no call, no email from makemytrip so called higher authorities on the penalty. I paid 10k for 2 nights which i lost to them. Have raised multiple service requests - no response yet.

Mr Ritwik Khare, please call me. I spoke with Mehtab at the call centre who could not assist me however my concern is about hotel bookings when done thru MMT the treatment got at all four hotels booked thru MMT was terrible and rooms are bad, below standards.
I am not sure if you are doing audits of the hotel before entering into a contract. I am from the industry with 20 years of experience.

    I had booked cab service from mahabaleshwar to pune airport. The journey date and time was 19th july 2017 07:30 hrs. I got confirmation that my cab is booked. I paid all amoutn as well. But on journey date when i was planning to get ready to go to pune to catch flight. I made call at 7:00 in the morning and asked about cab service. They took 15 minutes to check and at 7:20 they told me that my booking is cancelled due to unavailability of cab. I got shocked and syrprised to know that because i didn't receive any sms or confirmation regarding that. When i asked them i didn't get any confirmation either on mail or sms on my phone. The simple reply was sorry but we sent. Just because of that you can imagine what i suffered just bacause of that. You can imagine what happens when someone has to catch flight and waiting for cab and he gets simple answer 5 mints before schedule time that cab will not come.

    Never book any cab or bus service fro makemytrip.com. They are unprofessional and provide poor service. The simple answer they say is sorry. Very poor service from makemytrip.

    And when i complained about this on their customer care, the response was even negative and they were saying we can not do anything.

    This type of aganecy just make customer fool and don't provide service for what they charge.

      I made two referals and made two people download the app and sign up from my link
      It was mentioned on Make My Trip website that When a Friend signs up on the app, you earn ₹ 1000 and When a friend books with us, you earn up to ₹ 800

      I have got both the things done.
      My wallet should have been credit by 1000+800+1000+800 untill by now. But i have not receievd any amount. This is so frustrating . Will never use Make My Trip again for any booking. Yatra is much better website.
      I want my Wallet to be redeemed by 3600Rs.

        Hello, i'm raviraj from hyderabad, i booked flight tickets on mmt, the policy stated that they will charge for date change and not for time change, when i contacted mmt customer care, they were not responding but cut my call most of the times. Please take reasonable action and i want justice for this.

          The hotel provided in mysore shastri paradise is non hygienic. The bathrooms were sticking. The bed covers, pillows were used & and dirty. The people over there misbehaved with us. Still after complaining to reception they didn't manage proper bedcovers. The room locks were damaged. The furniture of the rooms were so rough that it scratched on the hands &the people in our group got injured.

            While attempting to purchase a ticket for the Air Asia flight from Pune to Bangalore on 12th Aug, the transaction failed yet the money was debited from my account. The transaction details are attached. I've sent two emails and a message on Facebook but I have received no response.

            This is despite the fact the website acknowledges that such problems occur and assures us that a refund will be issued in 3-4 working days once it has been brought to the notice of MakeMyTrip

            I email sent got an automated reply which again assures a response within 24 hours but nothing has happened so far.

              Makemytrip is a fraudulent company and does not refund the amount which is due. I had the misfortune of booking a ticket through this portal. The airlines had refunded part of the amount since they did not have the required seat on the flight which i had booked. The amount was refunded to makemytrip but this fraud company did not pass it on to me.

              Below is the transcript of the email conversation with the customer executive at makemytrip who did not respond back even after multiple attempts even after providing to them all the required documentation.

                I booked a ticket from bangalore to erode this morning for a wrong date (Aug 11th) and hence had to cancel the ticket within the very next 5 minutes, however 45% cancellation charges were levied which is really not acceptable as the cancellation was done 48 hours prior. When calling the customer care they couldnt help me and told thats what the penality clause is. I lost rs 500 which i think is a good amount of money that a company is stealing in the concept of cancellation which is very bad to do at their end.

                  Had a bus booking on 31st july of which i was informed on 30th july by the bus operator under makemytrip.
                  I was also sent an sms of bus being canvelled.
                  The no padikkal travels said they could put us on another no kerala lines but we have to pay extra.
                  Despite telling them that our payment is already done on makemytrip which had indirectly gone to them.
                  They were consistent that they can't do anything about the online payment and we have to make a fresh payment if we are desperate to travel.
                  Padikkal also told us that makemytrip is aware of the cancellation and that we would get a refund.
                  Little did i know that i have to struggle for the refund.
                  On 30th itself we spoke 2 agents on the makemytrip customer support toll free number.
                  1 was mr ujwal who said that a comment has already added by the earlier agent i spoke too that the bus has been cancelled by operator.
                  Pls note: agent being aware of the cancellation.
                  When asked about the refund mr ujwal clearly stated that he was emailing his so called senior department from where he requires an approval for a refund process to begin and also to give him 24hours.
                  31st we went to the padikkal office saying u put us in whichever bus u can but we r not going to pay as it is already done.
                  They said they need fresh payment or else we couldn't get onto the bus.
                  We payed fresh ready cash rs 3000 and we were put onto another bus.
                  1st august we call makemytrip to do a follow up and all the options have changed on the toll free number.

                  1 option saying we have completed our trip (Something that i don't get till date).
                  Paying on the spot ready cash of rs3000 and going another bus not booked under makemytrip can't be classified as completed

                  Don't forget we had already done an online payment via debit card.

                  So basically we have been charged extra.
                  I have written doo many mails till now to makemytrip agents shivam sirohi and nadeem khan
                  All i get in return is an automated message of 24hours waiting time, sorry for inconviencies and how the concerned department doesn't revert despite telling them it's an urgent basis.

                  I started fighting for my refund from aug1st and today's is august 8th.

                  There's is absolutely no response apart from their sorry for the inconvenience.

                  What makemytrip doesn't understand is ppl need their refund and not their stupid sorry.

                  #makrmytrip has become the new #spoilmytrip

                    As soon as amount got debited for my round about flight from chennai to mumbai, it returned to home page of make my trip app but booking confirmation was not shown.
                    Customer care numbers are of no use, they read mobile number and say no booking found and end the call, no option of speaking to any executive.

                            I am umesh v godbole bengaluru karnataka. On 20/072017 i tried to book online bus reservation from bangalore to soraba/sagara through makemytrip and i paid rs.600 towards the same using my corporation bank debit card. After the payment process was done suddenly the online bookig site of makemytrip logged off automatically without generating the ticket. But to my surprise the amount of rs.600 is debited to my sb account. Now i have to request you to look into the matter and immediately credit back the amount to my bank account..

                              We came to know that udf & aat charges if paid already for the travel dates after 8th of july are refundable by respective airlines if tickets are booked prior to 7th of july, 2017. Here i feel pleasure to inform you that i have booked following air tickets through your portal on 20th of june, 2017 for which i have paid entire payment i/c udf & aat thru my credit card and now as per the recently amended director general of civil aviation (Dgca) guidelines, udf and aat for travel from / to igi airport (Delhi) is hereby revised and no longer applicable respectively after travel date 8th of july, 2017. May i request you to arrange my refund towards aforementioned charges from respective airlines as per details of tickets given below and transfer to my credit card account.

                                I was browsing the site for booking the tickets and when the mouse wentover got clicked and i immediately called within 5 seconds. The customer service representative told me to wait on hold and i knew something was fishy. After 10 minutes, she comes back and says it has been booked. We can only do partial refund. Then i called threatened with lawsuit.. They said they will apply convenience fees. (500 rupees)

                                I said - within a minute i called and they told me they cannot do anything. I am filing a case against them in usa and also in india.

                                Buyer beware. This company is known for deploying tactics. Do not fall for it

                                  This is regarding my bookings with make my trip where i have successfully applied a code for cash back on 4 booking id and the same has been confirmed by the relevant department over phone call.in this regard even after various followup on phone call the matter has not been resolved and the cash back has not been provided. Even more now the other team members of mmt are saying that the code was not applied though it was earlier confirmed as successfully applied.

                                    This is regarding my hotel booking for shenbaga, pondicherry from 28 to 2nd october. I got a mail from makemytrip.com saying that there is a good deal for the hotels i was looking for and at 12:45am yesterday (31st july), without browsing through any other website, i trusted makemytrip’s deal and booked the hotel. The payment has gone through amounting to rupees 7890 (Transaction details attached).
                                    But i did not get a confirmation mail nor did i get a booking id. All the rates flashing on makemytrip.com has been inclusive of the 1000 rupees in my wallet along with the ongoing flash deal.

                                    The room i booked was the last room remaining and the deal only lasted till yesterday. I registered a complaint on the portal with the id[protected], but received no revert till i clicked on escalation.
                                    Out of severe distress and endless waiting, i called the toll free number. I was told that the wallet amount did not get transacted hence my booking failed. When i asked the lady to rectify the technical glitch and process the payment, she conveniently said that she will refund the money and that will reflect in 5 working days.

                                    As you are well aware of this industry, the price of the hotels keep rising with festive days coming by. My tickets are booked around the festive time hence when i saw a good deal from makemytrip, i immediately booked it. Now i have not only lost the room but also the deal and for a technical glitch from end, i have to pay a huge price.

                                    I am traveling solo and it was very important for me to book a good hotel but now makemytrip is telling me that the refund will take 5 days so by the time i book again, i will be charged exorbitantly for my choice hotels.

                                      I have registered a complaint to makemytrip for refund of rs.3810 to my bank account via complaint no, : reference id:[[protected]][protected].

                                      As per makemytrip, refund was initiated on may 29, 2017 but i have confirmed from the bank that no refund has been received for the transaction number provided by the makemytrip.

                                      I have written so many times back to makemytrip against this issue but they haven't provided me any solution.

                                      This is highly unprofessional service from makemytrip.

                                      Requesting to kindly intervene into the matter and expedite this issue.

                                        I am indian citizen working at the university of sheffield, sheffield,
                                        U. K. I need to report an unpleasant situation caused at boarding domestic flight to my wife at t3 air india desk. And helplessness by makemytrip online customer care chat. Since i did not had indian calling number, just some how managed to get internet to chat with makemytrip customer care on 30th july 2017 around 10 am. The issue started with my wife and my child with lot of difficulty reached air india t3 desk around 9 am, but was asked to sit aside instead of listening to her.
                                        The staff present at that time were not even willing to listen to her.
                                        She told then that our finnair flight ay021 from helsinki arrived 4
                                        Hour late, landed at 8.45 am instead of 5.25 am. And please start our
                                        Boarding formalities to speed up the process. Since i had asked her to
                                        Go to desk before me so that she can tell then that i will come to
                                        Them with baggage as soon as i collect the for international arrival
                                        Baggage belt number 8.
                                        But all the staff present there was rude to her and when i arrived
                                        They simply said no, instead of providing any other alternate.
                                        The issue arise due to flight delay caused by our flight from
                                        Manchester to delhi (Via. Helsinki) operated by finnair (30h july) and
                                        Then onward journey 30th july from delhi to gorakhpur operated by air
                                        India. But due 3 to 4 hours of delayed departure from the helsinki
                                        (Due to technical reasons) departed at 11:45 pm (Helsinki time)
                                        Instead of 08:15 pm due which it reached delhi at 8:45 am (Ist) and
                                        Baggage collection took another 30 minutes, due to which i could reach
                                        Air india domestic flight counter by 9:20 am hence was not allowed to
                                        Continue my onward journey.
                                        Due to this i had to stay in hotel and onward flight tickets to reach
                                        My final destination (Both were very costly due to last minute
                                        Booking). Also at delhi airport wasted 4-5 hours at air india desk and
                                        Finnair dealing company desk to explain that it is a finnair fault
                                        Which has caused all this problem. But finnair delhi staff did not
                                        Accept that its finnair fault and said that its not thier fault,
                                        Similarly air india said that its not fault either.

                                        Inconvenience by our own people, which is not acceptable. Also make my trip online chat representative insisted to give call to talk and explain which is disgusting. Makemytrip should compensate for the loss and mental harassment.
