I had booked a cab from make my trip from nishaad resorts in naddi to mini swiss in khajjar. While doing the booking from their app i selected nishaad resorts and it automatically selected mcleodganj dharamsala. Same thing happened when we booked this resort from their app... It says it is in mcleod ganj and hence we thought its in mcleod ganj but only after coming here we got to know it is 10 km away from mcleodganj​.
Firstly, their system is capturing incorrect location of nishaad resort.
While i made this cab booking as mentioned in e-voucher i was told some specific amount to be paid for which i made full payment also basis which my booking was confirmed (Got confirmation mail) and e-voucher was also received. This was late evening around 10 and thinking our booking is confirmed we slept. Late night at 1 am we receive an sms from mmt stating since the location is naddi you will have to pay extra rs.500 to driver.
If my booking is confirmed at certain price and now there are any extra charges mmt should not just inform about extra charges but since the price is changing they should ask if we want to continue my booking at revised rates. They cannot just slam those charges on me and force me to pay it just because i made full payment to them. Moreover they had already charged me for 250 km and naddi to khajjiar is approx 170 km so this is well within the kms stated.. So why extra charges??
2. When i woke up and read this msg early morning 7 am i called up their customer care to cancel my booking as this is not fair pricing and you guys should have been transparent enough of extra charges while booking itself and i wasn't ready to pay extra amount. Now their customer care staff ruined my morning my vacation and wasted my 2-3 hrs by talking to different ppl each time who were incapable o[censored]nderstanding customer issues and just kept on saying that if you cancel the booking as per cancellation policy refund is not possible. What the hell is this cancellation policy and how is it applicable? If cancellation is done before 24 hrs of travel date then no refund will be done... But what if my booking and cancellation both are within 12 hrs itself and cancellation is due to changes in pricing from your end and wrong location captured by your app not due to our mistake.

I spoke to 4-5 executives from morning 7am till 11 am who kept on repeating only one thing that you have to pay extra charges or if you cancel the booking you will get 0 refund. What kind of force is this on customer? When asked for supervisor executive said either the supervisor is not available or on short break and will arrange for call back after 10am. When i insisted that i need to speak right now i heard them giggling and laughing on call... Forget about empathising they kept me on 10 mins long hold as if they kept the phone on side... This is an example of pathetic and incapable customer service.
I was supposed to travel at 10.30 am and as per their policy i should be getting driver details 2 hrs prior to travel. But till date i have not received any driver info despite making full payment to them. Moreover that extra amount was to be paid to driver then i should have received the driver details by 8.30 ideally because my request was not yet cancelled. Till 10 am i had no clue what am i supposed to do and i booked a local cab for travel by paying inr 3000 again. Their executive clearly denied that if i don't agree to pay 500 rs they will not share any driver details with me
... But what about inr 2993 that i have already paid. This is sheer disgusting that they will cause inconvenience to customer who has paid already 2993 to them for an extra amount of 500 rs???
The best part is nobody called us and suddenly at 11 am i received an sms stating we tried calling you but we couldn't reach you and your booking is cancelled with zero refund??? Who called me and when??? This is a white lie
I immediately called up their customer care and the executive said they tried calling me thrice and i disconnected the call??? I disconnected the call is another lie...
So much of inconvenience caused to me with no fault of mine and that too after making full payment trusting mmt and now that they have my full money they have upper hand and give a damn and decline me refund. I want my fulll refund of 2993 plus interest on that amount till it is refunded+ my phone bills of approx rs. 300 (I was on roaming and spoke for almost 2 hours in total) and inconvenience caused to me and time i wasted.

      I was trying to book my ticket for mumbai to delhi on 27th july 2017 through mmt, at that time my money got deducted but didn't got any confirmation regarding the same. I called to the call centre too, they told me that i will get my money credit into my account on 9th itself, but it's not done yet, now it's 21st july.         I booked my hotel on 2nd Aug'17 more than 2 weeks before my visit to Langakwi, Malaysia. My booking ID is NH[protected]. I paid total amount in advance & my booking was confirmed by MMT. Once we reach hotel, we were shocked to here that booking is not done by MMT. MMT cheated me by sending message as booking accepted from hotel end. Finally called Hotel agent and they said that booking is not confirmed. Later after spending 4 hours discussion with MMT & their agent in KL they booked other substandard hotel for me. I am looking for full Refund since i was cheated by MMT.

          I booked hotel for 13.8.2017. My booking id: mhs141218. My mmt received my payment and even after that it was in unconfirmed status. When we went the hotel directly for checking in we're shocked. They said mmt had to pay last 3 months booking amount to them after that only they will take any new booking from mmt. Mmt cheated me by sending message as booking accepted from hotel end. Fraudulent activity from such big popularity i never expected. Finally we searched nearby hotels and found one hotel with higher budget without any options left since it's a peak time. I immediately called mmt customer care they said refund will be initiated. But after than every time i'm calling them always it says high traffic etc and cut down automatically. The worst customer care support. Even after 8 days still i didn't receive any email or my refund from them as i frustrated because of those fraud activity i thought to share my experience here. Don't book in their site since they are not assured even it displays as confirmed.

            Very poor and pathetic cab service. Inspite of booking and advance payment the cab did not arrive at the said time at the airport and after various calls to the make my trip office. The driver did not turn up and the people at the customer care are also useless and could not resolve the issue. Waiting for an hour i booked another cab from the airport.

            Poorest ever service seen.

              I had done the booking for airasia flight from hyderabad to kochi. But booking transactions have not been completed and money credit from my sbi account. For your reference received message from bank is as follows :-
              "thank you for using state bank internet banking. Your transaction ref no igaburocu4 for rs.3201.0 on 11-aug-17 14:08"
              When i am trying to contact at make my trip customer care center they told that "there is no such booking has been done through phone no [protected]" though it has been completed 5 days from date of failed transaction and amount is not refunded to my account

                Dear concern

                Very bad experience on very first day itself. Requested 20 times to take care all the things. Same thing happened, which happened in last dubai trip.

                Problems / harassment faced during tour:

                1. Tempo traveller was in so bad condition, took whole day to reach kanyakumari late evening.
                2. New traveller was arranged by buddies, supposed to reach in the 1st day evening, as we had plan to go to some point at 5 am to see sun rise. Whereas vehicle reached to our hotel around 7-7.30.
                3. Kanyakumari - hotel temple citi. People were so ruthless, non-sense, behaved so weirdly and used absurd language.
                4. For 5 families only 4 rooms were there and straight away said we don’t have any room & given no extra beddings firstly. Then the moment other family came, they offered the new room.
                5. We only know how we managed for one more room & that too thy gave in other hotel and not where we booked. So embarrassing at 9 pm standing out.
                6. Then at dinner, buffet was booked, however they denied and said only ala-carte can be given and that too limited variety, and so bad taste. And so do the breakfast, with just 3-4 options with no taste. Coffee tea chargeable.
                7. Then at rameswaram hotel pearl residency, same things, no extra beddings, dinner arranged only for 10 people, & horrible in taste.
                8. Then at madurai hotel north gate, rooms offered to families with twin beds, denied to have more rooms. After having long fight and debate then sudden double bed room appeared from somewhere.
                9. Only with this madurai hotel food was excellent and excellent services.

                Whole family was there, elders seniors citizens kids and it's so embarrassing that after paying all payment and money in advance at one go, we got this pathetic service.

                I seriously need a compensation claim on all the things had happened and harassments my whole family faced. Seriously overall a very-very pathetic experience.

                  I am writing this mail in context of the hotel reservation made on 12th aug'17 for one day stay at mysore with
                  Pnr 2267157booking id nh[protected].

                  Surprisingly while we searched for hotels in mysore, the search result fetched hotel properties from jhansi, uttar pradesh (Without any indication of the location, address of the property, pin code, not even showing the estimated distance from my current location).
                  This situation arose because our previous booking got cancelled and as most of the properties were sold out, we had no other option but to book some property in mysore to get shelter for that night.

                  After doing a paid booking, when we tried to open that address in google maps from the booking confirmation page, to our surprise we found that the property is 1437 km away from our current location.

                  As a result within 5 minutes we cancelled the booking.

                  In next five minutes (Within 10 minutes from booking) we received a phone call from the property in jhansi saying that your booking is confirmed, by what time will you be reaching here. Asking to arrange a pick up for us.
                  And i narrated the entire story to that person over phone. To which he said you have to raise a ticket with the customer care of makemytrip to initiate the refund and he said, he understood the situation. Also stating that he will also speak to makemytrip support team about the same.

                  Going by his suggestion i tried calling the customer care. However to my surprise the first call was responded after half an hour of being kept on hold.
                  After half an hour they thankfully answered my call, saying that sorry mam this is a fault at your end and since the check in date is outside 48 hours, initiating a refund is against the policies, rules and regulations of makemytrip and you will have to pay the full tariff and the call automatically got disconnected.
                  I again tried calling 3-4 times after that. Every time i was kept on hold for nothing less than 45 mins and without giving any solution my phone was disconnected.
                  Because of the irresponsible, unprofessional and unpardonable behaviour of makemytrip customer support (??) team, we had to spend 3-4 hours of my birthday time on a phone call with makemytrip, listening to an unsoothing piano music.

                  After which i received an auto generated message from makemytrip saying that "we tried to reach you and your number was unreachable, we will call you back within 45 minutes".
                  And i never recieved any call back after that.
                  As a result we wasted next half an hour of the day searching for a decent hotel available to stay that night, and we finally found a hotel called "hotel abhishek" with
                  Pnr 22671975 booking id nh[protected]
                  However, when we reached the property we saw that the property name was mentioned "hotel abhishek lodge". But in makemytrip app it was only mentioned as "hotel abhishek" not the actual name.
                  It is shameful to say that this property was not a hotel rather it was a low quality and below standard lodge.
                  And i am shocked to know that makemytrip is having tie-ups with these kind of cheap properties.
                  Since we didn't have any other option, we had to stay there.

                  We checked in that so called lodge, and after an hour we went out to explore the city and we came back around 2100 hrs.

                  After which we experienced the worst holiday and the most unpleasant birthday of my life.

                  While we thought to call it off for the day, the horrifying night had just began.
                  Five minutes after we slipped inside the blanket, we both starting itching our entire body, which as an endless process.
                  As a result we contacted the reception stating the problems and got a reply saying that there might be some ants, we will allocate another room.
                  Out of the three room options they showed us, the one which we chose had water supply issues and the lodge management refused to allocate that room to us.
                  The helpless we had no option but to choose the next best available option as it was already 11 o'clock in the night. (And that was the worst choice of our life).

                  After finalising the room, we gather our luggage and came to relax in the new allocated room.
                  And after one and half hour, our entire body was swollen was bitten by bed bugs. And there after we discovered the unhygienic condition under the mattress with lots of dead bed bugs.
                  And we decided to check out from that lodge immediately without further complaining about the condition, because i had no faith left on the makemytrip customer support team obviously because of the instances which had happened since morning and took a 0130 hrs bus back to banglore.

                  In one day we have waste nothing less than rs 4, 000/- for hotel stay and wasted my birthday and holiday like never before.

                  Where as the kind of property we got in that amount is not even worth rs 500/-

                  However i am compelled to write this mail five days later because the bites have now became septic are in very bad condition and in addition to wasting rs 4, 000/- we are in need to spend even more on curing the unforgeable experiencing of bed bugs biting we gathered in mysore.

                  One more thing, with the kind of exquisite customer service and luxury treatment we have experienced, i will never ever avail any kind of service from makemytrip henceforth.

                  I have attached the relevant photographs for your reference.
                  And i need you to take necessary action against the same.

                  I require you to refund full tariff for both the bookings asap.

                    Hi,
                    Its vikas, we booked 5 rooms in this blue pine resort (Lansdowne) for 15th july 2017 through id nh[protected]. We were 4 couples and 3 singles.

                    We booked this resort on the ratings and services assured through the make my trip wordings on their site, plz refer the incident report -

                    1) we checked in this resort on 15th july, i. E. Saturday and on the very initial stage the services and hospitality which we got from them stand zero.

                    On 16th july morning around 2 am we realised that the electricity was not there, phone lines not working etc we left with no option slept for the entire night without electricity. At 8 in the morning of 16th july we got to know that phone's had started working but electricity still has not resumed, we contacted the reception and they informed us that the electricity would be restored in some time. It is also important to mention here that our 3 rooms were in one block and rest 2 rooms were in another block. Out of the said rooms the 2 rooms were having the electricity in the morning but rest were as its is. We waited till 10 am in the morning an when left with no option except to check out we took bath in cold water and left the resort.

                    We raised our concern with make my trip on 4th august as they had confirmed us that the resort has power back up but to our immense distress, till date we have not received any positive feed back from them.

                    Our question and concern is -

                    Customer in today's date rely on the online portals for their vacations and accommodations as they trust that they won't be misguided through booking with them and if these online portals will going to serve like this where should a customer go?

                      Booked an accomodation in coorg through righstay on 21st mar 2017 with checkin date 12-mar for a group of 8 people which includes 3 men, 3 women, 2 kids and a baby. I received confirmation email that my accommodation at three river resort has been confirmed. On the night before journey date, i happened to call property manager to remind about our arrival since we booked accommodation 5 months in advance. I learned from them that they never received my booking voucher/name from rightstay and all the rooms in their property has been booked. When contacted rightstay, i was informed that it happened due to a miscommunication and they assured that they will upgrade the accommodation and i can start my journey to coorg from hyderabad as per plan. We reached coorg by 5 pm since then we have been in touch with rightstay team. We got updates that they are still working on it. At around 7 pm, we are informed that they could not find any rooms in coorg due to long weekend and informed us that they will cancel the booking and will do refund. Even objected to that act because, we could see few properties available in rightstay but they are expensive than what we paid. They still went ahead by cancelling our booking and no information about alternate property. We faced lot of troubles and had to go to each hotels in coorg starting from kushalnagar. Past midnight we found an accomodation but had to pay 38, 000/- 8 paxs for three nights. Just because of the poor handling by rightstay and leisure vacations, we had to face lot of problems with our wives and kids even though we planned our holiday 5 months in advance. They just left us helpless in the middle of night.

                        Terrible experience on domestic hotel by makemytrip - the hotel property was closed when i arrived at the location in kovalam, kerela.

                        Waited for couple of hours for a customer care executive to be able to resolve the issue. (With my kid age 4yrs). Executives kept passing me on from one to another, mentioning they will get back in 20mins.

                        I had also pinged ritwik khare on facebook (Hoping for some response since he happens to be in management), nopes - no response from him too. It is 16 aug today, while the incident happened on 12 aug.

                        Locals tell that it has been sold out nearly 5 yrs back!

                        After the wait time of 2 hrs i was given options that were not at all a match to what i had selected and booked. One executive - mrinal mishra finally mentioned he will escalate to higher authorities but i will need to wait for 24hrs for revert. How can slas be so high in such critical situations when a tourist is stranded in an unknown place with a child!

                        It was a long weekend so none of the good hotels were available! I finally after some tour around the city could manage a room (Due to the hotel's last minute cancellation).

                        Since then (13 aug) till today (16 aug) - there is no response, no call, no email from makemytrip so called higher authorities on the penalty. I paid 10k for 2 nights which i lost to them. Have raised multiple service requests - no response yet.

                        Mr Ritwik Khare, please call me. I spoke with Mehtab at the call centre who could not assist me however my concern is about hotel bookings when done thru MMT the treatment got at all four hotels booked thru MMT was terrible and rooms are bad, below standards.
                        I am not sure if you are doing audits of the hotel before entering into a contract. I am from the industry with 20 years of experience.

                          I had booked cab service from mahabaleshwar to pune airport. The journey date and time was 19th july 2017 07:30 hrs. I got confirmation that my cab is booked. I paid all amoutn as well. But on journey date when i was planning to get ready to go to pune to catch flight. I made call at 7:00 in the morning and asked about cab service. They took 15 minutes to check and at 7:20 they told me that my booking is cancelled due to unavailability of cab. I got shocked and syrprised to know that because i didn't receive any sms or confirmation regarding that. When i asked them i didn't get any confirmation either on mail or sms on my phone. The simple reply was sorry but we sent. Just because of that you can imagine what i suffered just bacause of that. You can imagine what happens when someone has to catch flight and waiting for cab and he gets simple answer 5 mints before schedule time that cab will not come.

                          Never book any cab or bus service fro makemytrip.com. They are unprofessional and provide poor service. The simple answer they say is sorry. Very poor service from makemytrip.

                          And when i complained about this on their customer care, the response was even negative and they were saying we can not do anything.

                          This type of aganecy just make customer fool and don't provide service for what they charge.

                            I made two referals and made two people download the app and sign up from my link
                            It was mentioned on Make My Trip website that When a Friend signs up on the app, you earn ₹ 1000 and When a friend books with us, you earn up to ₹ 800

                            I have got both the things done.
                            My wallet should have been credit by 1000+800+1000+800 untill by now. But i have not receievd any amount. This is so frustrating . Will never use Make My Trip again for any booking. Yatra is much better website.

                                The hotel provided in mysore shastri paradise is non hygienic. The bathrooms were sticking. The bed covers, pillows were used & and dirty. The people over there misbehaved with us. Still after complaining to reception they didn't manage proper bedcovers. The room locks were damaged. The furniture of the rooms were so rough that it scratched on the hands &the people in our group got injured.

                                  While attempting to purchase a ticket for the Air Asia flight from Pune to Bangalore on 12th Aug, the transaction failed yet the money was debited from my account. The transaction details are attached. I've sent two emails and a message on Facebook but I have received no response.

                                  This is despite the fact the website acknowledges that such problems occur and assures us that a refund will be issued in 3-4 working days once it has been brought to the notice of MakeMyTrip

                                  I email sent got an automated reply which again assures a response within 24 hours but nothing has happened so far.

                                    Makemytrip is a fraudulent company and does not refund the amount which is due. I had the misfortune of booking a ticket through this portal. The airlines had refunded part of the amount since they did not have the required seat on the flight which i had booked. The amount was refunded to makemytrip but this fraud company did not pass it on to me.

                                    Below is the transcript of the email conversation with the customer executive at makemytrip who did not respond back even after multiple attempts even after providing to them all the required documentation.

                                      I booked a ticket from bangalore to erode this morning for a wrong date (Aug 11th) and hence had to cancel the ticket within the very next 5 minutes, however 45% cancellation charges were levied which is really not acceptable as the cancellation was done 48 hours prior. When calling the customer care they couldnt help me and told thats what the penality clause is. I lost rs 500 which i think is a good amount of money that a company is stealing in the concept of cancellation which is very bad to do at their end.

                                        Had a bus booking on 31st july of which i was informed on 30th july by the bus operator under makemytrip.
                                        I was also sent an sms of bus being canvelled.
                                        The no padikkal travels said they could put us on another no kerala lines but we have to pay extra.
                                        Despite telling them that our payment is already done on makemytrip which had indirectly gone to them.
                                        They were consistent that they can't do anything about the online payment and we have to make a fresh payment if we are desperate to travel.
                                        Padikkal also told us that makemytrip is aware of the cancellation and that we would get a refund.
                                        Little did i know that i have to struggle for the refund.
                                        On 30th itself we spoke 2 agents on the makemytrip customer support toll free number.
                                        1 was mr ujwal who said that a comment has already added by the earlier agent i spoke too that the bus has been cancelled by operator.
                                        Pls note: agent being aware of the cancellation.
                                        When asked about the refund mr ujwal clearly stated that he was emailing his so called senior department from where he requires an approval for a refund process to begin and also to give him 24hours.
                                        31st we went to the padikkal office saying u put us in whichever bus u can but we r not going to pay as it is already done.
                                        They said they need fresh payment or else we couldn't get onto the bus.
                                        We payed fresh ready cash rs 3000 and we were put onto another bus.
                                        1st august we call makemytrip to do a follow up and all the options have changed on the toll free number.

                                        1 option saying we have completed our trip (Something that i don't get till date).
                                        Paying on the spot ready cash of rs3000 and going another bus not booked under makemytrip can't be classified as completed

                                        Don't forget we had already done an online payment via debit card.

                                        So basically we have been charged extra.
                                        I have written doo many mails till now to makemytrip agents shivam sirohi and nadeem khan
                                        All i get in return is an automated message of 24hours waiting time, sorry for inconviencies and how the concerned department doesn't revert despite telling them it's an urgent basis.

                                        I started fighting for my refund from aug1st and today's is august 8th.

                                        There's is absolutely no response apart from their sorry for the inconvenience.

                                        What makemytrip doesn't understand is ppl need their refund and not their stupid sorry.

                                        #makrmytrip has become the new #spoilmytrip
