I was booking a ticket on makemytrip.com on 23rd oct 2017 from ahmedabad to goa for 25th oct. Money was deducted from my account but ticket could not be booked. I waited for 2 hours and then i booked another ticket. I did not get refund of 1st ticket for which money was already deducted. There is no customer care number which can handle such complaint. I booked my ticket from my mobile [protected]. My customer id for makemytrip is "[protected]@yahoo.com".

Yesterday on 23/10/17 i had book a ticket from mumbai to guwahati for 8/11/17 but while payment it was fail i did not get any messages for booking nothing just it was deducted and my money was debited from my account rs. 920 and i did not get yet any refund in my account. Can u please refund it today because i need to book ticket urgent. Thank u

      I, Dr.DEBASREE BISWAS, had booked two way ticket to London from Kolkata and return, on 20th February 2017, for AirIndia flight, PNR NO-YVY2D, (flight dates departure: 22nd June 2017, Flight dates return: 28th June 2017) from MakeMyTrip, ( Booking ID : NN[protected] for Debasree Biswas, Pranati Biswas and Gitashree Majumdar. I had cancelled the same tickets, due to visa refusal, on 9th June, well ahead of the flight departure date for us all three passengers. MakemyTrip showed the cancellation request (Reference Number - INR[protected] yet they did not refund the ticket amount. MakeMyTrip didnot send me any emails regarding this. I lodged complaint with MakeMyTrip on 21st June, (Reference ID[protected]Reference ID[protected] following which they sent me mail on 22nd June asking for the visa refusal document. I promptly submitted the document. Yet MakeMyTrip didnot give me the refund still. Three days later Makemytrip again contacted me to ask for my passport copy, stating that AirIndia requires it for verification. I contacted the AirIndia East zonal office(Commercial) in Kolkata, who assured me they donot require passport copy for refund, only visa refusal letter is needed. AirIndia also assured me they will refund back the whole ticket amount in visa refusal case. Even after my submission of all stated required documents, Makemytrip again contacted me and asked me to get my visa refusal letter stamped from the embassy, stating that AirIndia has asked for it. This was again denied by AirIndia, stating they only require the letter, they donot require any stamps. But Makemytrip have not yet made the refund to me, instead stated that AirIndia will take 45-90 days to process my request from current date. But AirIndia said they process all such request immediately.
      Despite, I have waited for 90 days, as per MakeMyTrip request. After which i sent MakeMyTrip a reminder mail asking for my refund, on 09/10/2017 . But MakeMyTrip has not replied to my mail yet, neither has the refund been processed yet. It is now well over 100 days from the request.
      MakeMyTrip is unjustfully and unlawfully, with-holding my refund amount. They are unnecessarily harassing me for my just demands.
      Please look into the matter for quick dispensation.

      Dear sir My PNR No is DEK7GQ, From Kochi to Mumbai, Mob. No. [protected] in f/o Geetha Menon. The Ticket has been cancelled as requested to indigo. As got information from Indigo, my ticket already cancelled and advised to you ie Make my trip but till today I couldn't get refund for that cancelled ticket.
      Kindly confirm whether you have transferred in my account or not.

        I booked flight ticket on 08/10/2017 from pune to hyderabad and due to internet down as per mmt people, amount got deducted from my account and i dont see the ticket booked.

        A guy called from mmt and informed me that money will be back to my account in 3 days. Its 24th october now and till date nothing to my account. I sent 20-30 emails on this and they reply with "we are looking the issue, waiting for any update from our account department, we are working with gateway people".

        I still don't understand why it takes more than 2 weeks to get a simple issue resolve. How many people they are cheating like this.

          I had booked my ticket to new-delhi in air-vistara in the month of april, 2017 for the journey on 17-08=2017 and return on[protected] through makemytrip.com. Subsequent to my booking, the dgca reduced the udf charges and asked the airlines to refund the excess amount charged. I contacted the ott and received the reply that i can claim the amount after completing the journey. I claimed the excess udf charges on[protected]. Till date, i have not received the same. On repeated enquiry with them, the reply is it is under process without any further follow-up action from their side.

          I booked my ticket from cstm to tandur.i booked ticket on 13 oct 2017. but it is cancelled because of wrong irctc username...?? My reference no is NR[protected].when i get refund???

            I want to share a bad experience with your customer support team involved in domestic holiday package booked with make my trip, 3 months in advance

            My complaint
            Customer care executive on domestic packages are not responsible, they do not call back. Your customer support team lacks ownership towards customers and their concerns. It took three days to get my confirmed itinerary where i made booking 3 months in advance. After landing at hotel in madurai, hotel denied of any reservation. I had wait outside along with my mother outside the hotel. It took 100 minutes to resolve the issue.

            Details
            Booking (Id - nl[protected], phone no. [protected], name: shiva shankar gudipati) to madurai, kanyakumari, rameshwaram was made on 10 may 2017 with 50 percent amount and complete payment was made on sept 17. Until 10th october, no confirmed itinerary was automatically send by the agent.

            My booking id was never registered in the system against my phone number. I have raised it with customer care, they have not responded with resolution nor have send me the itinerary on 7th october.

            On 8th october, i called up customer support team manager. Four executives have called out to mentioned my booking id, and put me on hold and never returned to respond back to my call and it ended up 180 minutes wait to get to the customer care manager varsha tomar. She inturn has not made the booking with the hotel although a confirmation was send to me by email that there was a delay from their side in sending the prompt itinerary.

            On the day of landing at hotel nook in madurai, hotel denied access to the hotel as there was no confirmation send by make my trip. I had to call the customer care and had to wait for 100 minutes over phone. 4 customer care support team spoke to me asking for booking id and on insisting, i got connected to and hira lal customer care executive manager who then finalized the booking.

            Will you ever book orders if you were in my place? Can you pay for my time, inconvenience caused, phone bills inspite of booking on 17rh may 2017 for 18th oct 2017 domestic travel??

              On 2nd of june this year i had booked a flight from kolkata to london through makemytrip, which i had to eventually cancel on the 21st of june due to visa rejection. The company website said that refund process would be initiated and that i would be updated within the next three working days, which the company failed to do apart from an email which said that my cancellation request had been initiated. After sending repeated emails and phone calls in the consequent days i was first told to wait for seven days, and then for a period ranging from 45-90 days. This i duely waited but makemytrip had still failed to update me or even start my refund process. After this period i went through yet another series of phone calls and emails and was told to wait for yet another period of 45-90 days.
              Now this seems to me utterly harassing and illogical considering the company's initial claim that refund would be started in three days and then taking it forward to ninety days. It is now more than four months since this entire episode has been started and still the company fails to refund my money.
              This is a matter concerning an amount of rupees 65, 000 and a huge disgrace to a company that boasts of grand repute,

              I had booked a flight from Kolkata to London through MakeMyTrip of the Booking ID - NN[protected] on Friday, 02 June 17, which I had to eventually cancel on the 21st of June due to visa rejection, upon which I was assigned the Reference Number - INR[protected]. It is now more than six months since this entire episode has been started and still the company fails to refund or at the least notify me regarding my refund process

                Recently i took some of your services (You can find out from my account one a cab from lucknow to kanpur and other a hotel at ujjain recently on 21st oct
                1. The cab was booked through you by designated name from a guest house indira nagar lucknow to designated target at kanpur. Address by address after calculating the distance you guys charged me the amount. Even after that for my satisfaction i called to cus support to make sure that driver may not create scene and start discuss fare etc to me after reaching the destination. And i was assured that nothing like that will happen. But as the driver was not well known to the area as he was from delhi and returning back he took roads out of the routes to fill his tank etc and increased mileage and asking me more money to pay.
                2. Now recent hotel booking as we reached the hotel the shutter was down and hotel was locked. I have never seen in my life a hotel listed on travel website booked and locked. Unfortunately my listed iphone stopped due to change of state or any reason. With a lot of difficulties i was able to contact customer service but could not take my reply because that other phone also died. After a lot of struggle we were able to check in after a long time. Both times our journey ruined instead of enjoying.

                  Hi, this time i have been overcharged for hotel approx rs. 980/- per day as the make my trip has bifurcated the room with breakfast and without break fast and also prices having rs. 980/- day more than tariff in the hotel bills issued by both hotel and make my trip is less than the amount paid each other saying you will receive invoice from hotel/make my trip/ please call hotel before making any booking on make my trip yo avoid overcharging / misrepresentation of prices/inflated prices. My colleagues also stayed for the same period hotel premium tariff was rs. 2700 including gst and complementary breakfast. But make my trip charged rs. 3644/- per day in total as overcharged their website is so designed that price changes from rs. 2430 to rs. 3890 per second and they are saying they have contract with hotels to charge the amount on their will to cheat the customers daily/ per second basis. As against previous bookings (Approx paid 90000/- for two booking) such act is wrong.

                    I have cancelled my bookings of hotel on 24 sept 2017 and asked for refund in my new bank account as my account used during booking was closed on 10 aug 2017. Both the account are in same name and same branch. I have submitted each and every documents they asked to submit bank statement of both the accounts and a loa. I am calling customer care every day but still didn't get my refund after 25 days of cancellation. My refund amount is nearly rs 32, 000. Every day they say our team is working on it but no progress has been seen.

                        We booked this package on online site www.makemytrip.com paying the advance amount on 26/8/2017

                        Few days of booking we found that the prices charged by them is witout ticket and extremely high in market in the meantime mmt rep contacted us and asked us to book ticket and visa we requested them to provide us the clarification on cost or refund our advance amount but totally ignoring our request they just stick on to get more money from us under these conditions and doubt we requested them many times for refund but they shown us their cancellation policy and only asked to take visa and ticket and pay them more money and in these circumstances now they cancelled the package and refusing to refund us the money.

                        After going various complaint against this company on internet by various user who booked online package they got trouble from make my trip as its their regular practice to get firstly advance amount for this package as with their offers anyone can be victim like us and later they know they are not going to refund and tried to get more money so customer cannt do any thing like happened to us

                        There are several victims and consumer complaints against mmt like this so i request to please resolve our issue and our refund must be released immediately if this letter reached to mmt they must understand the value of customer and their concerns and they cant keep our money without giving us any service and for that they have taken money from us and we have right to ask our refund any time.

                          On 19.10.17 i have done online bus booking for pune to kolhapur for the date 20.10.17. Total no. Of tickets are 3 for total rs. 1733 but i want to cancel the tickets but employee of make my trip told us it can not refundable because of their policy.

                            I've made a two way flight booking with makemytrip for my wife and kid from blr to del for 29th sep to 3rd oct with booking id nf[protected]. Tried amending the travel dates as we had some changes to travel plan but their website did not allow us to change travel dates (Amended travel dates for my parents with same itenary) due to some technical issue at their end and ended up calling the toll free number but the ivr menu did not have any option to speak to the customer care executives.

                            Atlast i was able to reach them through facebook and mmt's executive asked me to cancel and re-book the tickets. He also promised me that i'll receive a net refund amount of rs.5197 after deducting the airline cancellation fee.

                            But i've received only rs.3097 and i contacted them through facebook to get a standard mmt response of "we regret however there will not be any further refund on the same.".

                            I have made a copy of entire chat transcripts with makemytrip. Now i'm planning to take this legally. Any suggestions please let me know.

                              Airport pahuchne ke bad hame bording pass diya gya or hame flight me bitha diya lekin tacnikal problam ke chalte flight ko cancel kar diya gya or hame cancellation receipt bhi di gyai. Jisme hame kaha gya ki apka refund 7 days me aa jaye ga lekin mera refund ab tak nahi aya h
                              Lekin problem ye h ki air india ne flight ko thik dikha diya h jo bording pass ke milne se hua jabki flight cancel ho gyi thi.
                              Mere pass cancellation receipt bhi hai jo me apko send ker raha hu or chahta hu ki meri problem ka solution nikala jae pls..

I have been following up with the mmt customer care since sep 22nd but getting the same response as wait for 24/48hrs and i have raised a complaint on mmt website and escalated to level 4 but still no luck. I don't know what is the meaning of escalation level in mmt. Are the people really work or simply passing the time. I have asked the customer care executive to transfer the call to his supervisor or manager but they said yes and kept my call hold for 20 mins. Really i am fed up with this service. I have to submit the bills to my company to claim the trip expenditure of 65000. Will mmt pay me this amount as because of these mmt useless work i am unable to claim the trip expenses. I want to raise a sever complaint about this useless service and commitment less guys.

                                    Malaysia part was reasonably managed. The singapore part was badly managed.
                                    - we were stranded (Just dropped) in bus stop in singapore. (Came in bus from malaysia - part of package)
                                    - no one to pick up and drop at hotel. Bus driver was arrogant and mentioned he is just supposed to drop here.
                                    - we were 8 o[censored]s and an infant. Few other families were stranded not knowing what to do. It was raining.
                                    - we managed to get hold of mmt spoc in singapore after multiple phone calls.
                                    - rohan - the spoc was very arrogant. He told us that "how am i supposed to when you are landing here. Wait there and i will send a bus to pick up and drop us at hotel in an hour"
                                    - he was our co-ordinator for next 3 days and was a very painful experience
                                    - never take mmt... They just give you promise but very poorly managed
                                    - we had to get ready everyday morning and wait if someone will come and pick us up. Had to call rohan daily for few times before things are arranged.
                                    - he had guts to say - "complaint if you want to"..

                                      I have booked a room. And pay the bill online at a time.. Msgs not receive of booking a room.. But money is deducted from account.. After this helpline no. Is not respond and also customer care no. Bed experience form this site and i will never booking on this site again.. I also try to contact to customer care but not got respond.. I also call a helpline no. But it doesn't solve my problem... Loss of my money...

                                        1. I had booked a complete holiday package with makemytrip company. The package as advertised by the company included (For 4 people)
                                        (I) return air fare
                                        (Ii) hotel accomodation
                                        (Iii) visa fees and charges
                                        (Iv) activities at destination.

                                        2. The cancellation policy clearly mentioned that in case cancellation of package is done before departure at least 50% of paid amount would not be refunded.

                                        3. I made advance payments to the makemytrip holiday company. However, i was informed that there was some issue with my visa (For 01 pax only. 03 visa were ok) and therefore i could not travel. I did not cancel the trip as i would end up loosing close to 100, 000 rupees due to the cancellation policy of the company.

                                        4. The company on its part did not offer to cancel the trip and just informed me that there was a problem with my visa. Since, there was no further disposition given to me by the company, i told the company that i would try to get my visa issue resolved myself as i did not want to lose 100000 rupees that they would charge me to cancel the trip. On the date of the trip only 03 passengers carried out the trip as planned and i could not accompany them.

                                        5. Thereafter i had to run from pillar to post and spend close to 10000 rupees extra for various fees and courier charges and get my visa. I got the visa only on trhe last day of the planned trip was over. Therefore i extended the trip by 03 more days so that i could travel on my own.

                                        6. As far as the makemytrip company is concerned it provided full service and everything that it had promised for 03 passengers only and for the fourth passanger (Me) it only provided return ticket (That too after i paid rescheduling charges.

                                        7. The company was unable to provide visa therefore it should have cancelled the entire trip on its own and offered a 100% refund but it continued to remain silent as it knew that if i cancelled the trip the company would earn 100000 rupees as cancellation fees.

                                        8. Also very important. If the company advertises that hotel, airfare and visa is included in the holiday package then any one of these services not being given by the company should be the responsibility of the company and not the consumer. (One cannot travel without air fare, or stay without hotel, therefore, similarly one cannot use airline or hotel if one does not get visa. So not getting visa by the company is akin to not getting an air ticket to travel.)

                                        9. My complaint is that the company refund the entire charges for 01 passenger except the return airfare charges as 01 passenger could not use any services as offered in the package. There was no fault of the consumer. The consumer did not cancel the trip as it would entail a loss of at least 100000 rupees when he was informed about the visa being denied.
