This is regarding my booking with MakeMyTrip with the booking ID NF[protected], and the ordeal I have faced after that. I had made a telephonic complain against the same on Saturday, and I was assured a response within 2 days. However, that has not happened yet (even after 6 days). Hence, I am forced to write again. I had made the above booking about 3 months back for the route CCU-DEL (travel date 15th Oct) and DEL-CCU (travel date 25th Oct). On 11th Oct, I canceled my CCU-DEL leg of the journey through your online portal. After the cancellation, I got a confirmation mail as well that my CCU-DEL leg is cancelled and that I will receive some refund within few days. Also, the online system showed my CCU-DEL journey as cancelled while my DEL-CCU journey still stayed (as I obviously wanted to travel on that flight). On 24th Oct - just 1 day before my flight, I randomly got to know that MMTrip cancelled my DEL-CCU ticket too!!! On calling the helpline number, I was told in a cold voice that you had yourself cancelled it on 11th itself. That is obviously not true (and your system can confirm that). You can also check the voice recording of my call that I made on MMTrip on 23rd Oct. I had clarified with the agent again regarding my journey (my ticket was not cancelled even till 23rd). While processing my refund, the refund processing agent made a serious error and cancelled my 25th Oct ticket. This was a seriously important travel, and your helpline agent suggested me to book myself on an alternate flight for that day and promised MMTrip will reimburse that (she also promised a call within 2 days which never came). I can explain the entire situation on a call, and you can obviously check everything at your end and realize that it is a error on your part. I look forward to an urgent resolution to this one. I am attaching the initial booking as well as the e-mail received after the cancellation. Also, if you check the refund amount, I have been refunded only close to 2500 Rs, which is obviously because I was supposed to get refund for one leg. E-mail ID: [protected]@gmail.com

    Dear Team, I have made a booking for family from Bangalore to Dubai and return, i have made the transaction on 24th October 2015 and i have received a booking confirmation number NN[protected]. SInce i didnt receive the E ticket i have contacted the customer care on 25th October 2015 and they have confirmed that the booking is not done due to a technical issue. I have asked for a refund of the amount of Rs. 1, 29, 241/- and i have send many mails to [protected]@makemytrip.com but there is no reply from them, then i again called the customer care and they are very casual and they told that they didnt get my mail and then one executive gave me a mail id which is barmingham.[protected]@makemytrip.com. I have forwarded all the details to the concerned executive and he gave me a reference ID as[protected]. Again when i called they are saying this reference number is wrong. But till date i didn't receive any information pertaining to my refund and there is no mail from the concerned. Every time i call the customer care they are asking the same details again and again and transferring the call to various departments but not giving any update. They are just trying to avoid my calls and dont want to inform the status. Please help in getting the refund.         Hi my booking id is NF[protected]..I booked a ticket through my mobile app from New Delhi to trivandrum on Dec 22...I got 3 flights of all India connecting the same through Chennai and I booked for Air India-540(from New Delhi to Chennai) and Air India-264(from Chennai to trivandrum).but for my surprise, after the payment, I got the confirmed ticket with different flight number to Chennai which is Air India-439... My travel hours is prolonged thereby by 24hrs...kindly reschedule my ticket to the one I actually booked...It's totally fault from ur application side...I am 100% sure I booked the right one...kindly help me sort it out smooth...

          I booked the bus trip from pune to nagpur from make my trip.The bus operator send me the sms 24 hour before departure informing the cancellation of bus trip.
          I called the bus operator for reschedule or refund... Was the option suggested by operator, but since booking was done through make my trip asked me to get refund from make my trip.
          I lodged the request for refund through make my trip website .
          After one year of followup make my trip is asking the sms from operator and informed that there was no bus cancelled by operator.

          It was the worst from make my trip that they closed the request on their own several times and at the end denied about bus cancellation itseld, which take nyself also in embrassing situation as only one side can be true and discourage from using worst make my trip service further or to recommend to any friend of pals and explain them my experiance.
          Although amount of refund not much but this is matter of after sales service and business ethics.

          Make my trip is proving themselves unethicle all fronts.

And post validating this with the Vendor, it was found that the bus was not cancelled on the date of travel. We regret to inform that no refund will be applicable on this booking. Request you to please provide any confirmation e-mail or SMS received from vendor's end regarding cancellation. So, that we can take this further with them and close this on priority.

            I have booked a ticket from Chennai-Frankfurt (for date 30-Jan) at 3 AM on 29 october for my family with Booking ID - NN[protected]received on my mobile:[protected], and Money is deducted from my axis bank account without confirmation email or Eticket email. The email address used - Mirabelle.[protected]@gmail.com and mobile number:[protected] for this Booking.

            I have called makemytrip Customer care and none of their Customer care representative were able to track this transaction with Booking ID, email address or phone number, then finally one of their Customer Representative told me that the ticket is not booked and money will be returned back to my account within 7-10 working days.

            Below are the other details for this booking:

            Bank’s name: Axis Bank

            Amount deducted: Rs. 39896

            E-coupon used: AXISIF

            Mode of transaction: Axis Bank Debit Card

            Please help me in this regard. is this normal behaviour. I need to book the ticket, but I can't book it until makemytrip confirms about this cancelled ticket.

            I am getting calls from random asking for my Debit card number, card validity date and PIN, etc. people tell me that they are calling from Makemytrip and need these details to return the money.

            I am pretty sure, these are fraud calls, could you please able to confirm?

              On 7th October, 2015 i tried booking a flight from Chennai to Colombo for 5th February, 2016, after providing my credit card details on make my trip website i got a message saying that the Transaction has failed although i received a mail from my bank STATE BANK OF INDIA (SBI) that the transaction has been made on my credit card at MAKEMYTRIP INDIA PVT LTD on 7th Oct and the bank has confirmed the said payment to make my trip on 8th Oct to me by phone. Ever since the the 8th of October, i have made repeated calls and sent repeated mails to [protected]@makemytrip.com and all they do is give me a standard dialogue that "the refund will be completed in the next 72 hours" or repeated mails by extremely inefficient members of the customer service team asking me for the same information that i have previously provided to them at least four or five times. It has been almost a month or in terms that people of makemytrip understand "528 hours" and it is clear to me that no action has been taken and they have done absolutely nothing till date. Also i have received mails with unfounded statements from makemytrip saying that they have tried to contact me but failed - to this i would say that i have replied to every single mail you have sent me and i have NOT RECEIVED EVEN A SINGLE phone call from you till date. So for the last time i request you to take action immediately and not " simply notify people and sit there", before it escalates any further. My booking ID : IN1510B5S102261 My reference ID's:[protected],[protected],[protected]. Refund amount: Rs.5631 (NOT A SINGLE RUPEE LESS)

                NH[protected] is my booking ID.We( 9 members) booked La Flora Pleasant stay in kodaikanal based on the reviews from Makemytrip by paying 17000 rs. We travelled on 23rd October 2015 and once we reached the hotel in Kodaikanal the La Flora management denied us rooms stating that makemytrip has not given any booking to them. They made us wait along with kids for 3 hours and when i called makemytrip they did not respond well. We threatened the hotel that we are calling Police and will lodge a complaint then hotel booked Sterling Valley view. The rooms were brand new but not ready for staying as there was pending electric work, no proper service to room. Make My trip claims what you see is what you get and we did not get anything we saw. I am looking for REFUND as we all had to go through this horrific incident. Children suffered as it was so cold.

                  I booked two flight tickets from MMT app on 16/08/2015 with the booking Id NF[protected] and NF[protected] and as per offer by HDFC and makemytrip.com i was supposed to get Rs 1000 cashback on both the tickets (i applied DOM15HDFC coupon code ) within 14 days .

                  But its has been 2 months and i there is no information from their side and i hv only being receiving mail to wait and watch . Neither my Cashback is being processed niether they are replying to my mails . it seems they have and auto mail checker mail enabled and only keep sending me mail to wait .

                  All the screencshots are attached .
                  Please resolve this as soon as possible . I may not being using MMT any further due to their negligence and irresponsibility .

                    Sharing, with all my friends, my flight booking and its cancellation experience with m/s. Makemytrip:
                    Abu dhabi – kochi – abu dhabi round trip booked on air india express through makemytrip on 06 june 2015 for travel to kochi by ix-452 on 17 jul 2015 & for return to abu dhabi by ix-419 on 21 jul 2015. Booking id: nn[protected]. _experience
                    I requested for cancellation of my round trip on 03 jul 2015 and, subsequent to my phone call, received email confirmation of cancellation, reference id:[[protected]], on 4 jul 2015. Was informed that i will be refunded, after accounting cancellation charges, within 48 working hours. I checked my makemytrip account and it showed the following message:
                    Cancellation reference no: in1507r3s028617 cancellation request date
                    Expected refund date
                    Approx refund amount

                    Fri, 03 jul ' 2015
                    Fri, 10 jul ' 2015
                    27033 *


                    Please note: i paid a total of rs. 34, 739/- at the time of booking and as per the committed terms of makemytrip, duly printed on the issued e-ticket, refund amount will be subject to deduction of a cancellation fee of rs. 7931 plus rs. 500-towards makemytrip service fee, totaling rs. 8431/-. (As per this calculation, refund amount works to rs. 26308/-
                    Refund didn’t happen with 48 working hours or even on 10th jul.2015. I started sending reminders and continued to contact them on phone. For my email reminders(Total eight(8) spanning one month) initially there was no response. For my phone calls, they used to send new reference ids with commitment of refund to be effective within 48 working hours.
                    On 15th august 2015, i received a confirmation mail that an amount of rs 843/(Say 2.3% of my eligible refund) will be refunded within 3 working days. Quote: “kindly note refund amount of inr 843 makemytrip booking id nn[protected] has been processed. Amount in your account may reflect in up to 3 working days in case your issuer bank is …”. Actual received: rs. 842/-
                    Since this was not acceptable to me, i sent mails for review and after so many reviews and contacts, another refund confirmation of rs. 1111/- (Forming 3% of eligibility) was received on 4th sept. 2015, informing me that makemytrip reviewd the refund request successfully!!! Yes, i was taken for a real real ride by: makemytrip

                      I'm Srinivas Annavarapu, booked ticket to my mother in law from Hyderabad to Dublin (Travelled to Dublin on 12 June actual return date 03 Sep 2015), due to some circumstances i have extended my mother in law's return journey from September 03 to November 18 and paid 17400rs on September 02 2015 from then onwards I’m sending so many emails to Makemytrip team but not issuing E-ticket. As my wife also planning to come to India with newly born baby we need to know the journey plan so that i can book ticket to my wife with my mother in law. As I’m not getting E-ticket to my mother in law i couldn't book the ticket to my wife, due to this ticket price gone up (from 550 euro's to 1000 euro's). I HAVEN'T EXPERIENCED THIS TYPE OF BAD SERVICE IN MY WHOLE LIFE, IT SEEMS THIS COMPANY SUCKS. I have escalated this issue to management level but no response from their side, please kindly do something my mobile number is [protected] call me at any time

                        I travelled lonavala on 24th Oct-15 and when i was on payment gateway it deducted my money twice from my hdfc master card i confirmed the same with the customer support person Name Mr Mohnish he said money will be refunded to me in 72 hours hence i still havn't received its been 5 days now.

                        i am also attaching my account summary of hdfc which states i still havent received my money

                          I have booked bus ticket for 3 persons from karaikudi to chennai through makemytrip online on 03.10.2015 amount rs.2100/-. But ticket not confirmed, we have raised cancellation on 04.10.2015 for that ticket. they have assured me that within 7 days to get money refund back. I had sent request for them about 40 calls till now and during my calls to them they asked me every time to send my bank accounts statement. i have sent about 8 times through their mail. I have contacted my bank and they are telling there is no communication about this refund from makemy trip. There is no response from makemy trip till now ( 28.10.2015 at 5.30pm). Customer care also very irresponsible. please help me to get my refund money back.

But unfortunately the amount was deducted from my axis bank account . now i called them 25 times and every time they told me to wait for 48 or 72 working hours. even some executive told me that your process is not initiated call after 72 working hours it's been almost 1.5 months that no one is answering or taking responsibility. no i mean this is really harassing people how much do i have to wait again. the amount was 4212-/ my email id - [protected]@yahoo.com

                            I have booked two indigo flight ticket 22nd Oct 2015 from Pune to kolkata and 29th Oct 2015 from Kolkata to pune by make my trips on 19th July 2015 booking id is NF[protected]. i have canceled one ticked from Pune to Kolkata journey date 22nd Oct 2015 on 10th Oct 2015. i have many times follow up with make my trips about my refund but they are telling it is under process. regarding this issue i have discussed with airlines, as per airlines they have refund amount 5250.00 to make my trips. but make my trips is not refunding.

It is a contractual obligation of an offer given and offer accepted, on the basis of which payment was received from me as the customer.                                 II've faced a very unfortunate situation 3 weeks ago when I booked a flight from Hyderabad to Delhi.

                                On October 2nd, I booked two tickets for October 8th, Thursday from Hyd to Delhi at 8:50 pm on an Air India flight. As for any domestic flight, we reached the Hyderabad airport an hour before the departure time, at 7:55-8 PM. When we reached the Air India counter, they refused to let us on board because it was an "International Flight" which would be going to Chicago from Delhi.

                                It was not mentioned on the e-tickets nor were we informed by MakeMyTrip.com or Air India that it was an international flight. After 45 minutes of arguing and pleading, we had no choice but to book tickets on a different airline and forego our initial tickets. Also, we weren't the only ones who were refused entry on the flight. There were about 10-12 people who faced the same situation as us. Where in they booked their tickets through makemytrip.com and were NOT aware that they had booked tickets for an international flight. Had we known that this was a connecting flight, we would have arrived at the airport 2 hours in advance.

                                Now, Air India claims that since we booked our tickets through MakeMyTrip.com, so MakeMyTrip.com guys are responsible for letting the passengers know the important piece of information that we had booked tickets for an international flight.

                                I had spoken to one of MakeMyTrip.com's customer reps that night and he said that he cannot do much about this. But I disagree, I think it is MakeMyTrip.com's responsibility to give the passengers all the required information regarding their bookings. It is not fair that the passengers have to lose out on thousands of rupees just because MakeMyTrip.com made a mistake.

                                I had tried to reach out to MakeMyTrip.com by posting on their Facebook page but my post doesn't even show up on their wall because they have probably removed it.

                                In reference to your complaint, we have validated your case with our concerned team and found that the passengers have reached within one hour of the departure of the flight, where we have specifically mentioned on the E-ticket that check in (For both domestic/International flights) starts before 2hrs and closes at 1hr prior to the departure time. And it is advisable to reach at airport at least 2 hrs. prior to the departure. In this case passengers were no-show and no-refund is applicable as per airline policy.

                                    This is with booking ref IN1508B4S002257, I was suppose to get 3 star hotels in all the four places but did not get that in Thekkady. All the hotels were almost 20 to 30 kms from the city. During booking I was told that the cab driver will act as a guide, but because of him we lost almost two days as he didnt helped us to choose the locations.In Thekkady, the main event was the boat ride and driver told that dont go and thats a total waste and he suggested for jeep safari from a local travel agent for Rs3000. The cab that is provided is not at all in a good condition, cannot open the windows and doors of left side. There is no room service in Lake shore inn and we waited till 2 hrs for a cup of tea and then after calling reception twice we were told that they cant provide the tea.No drinking water in room. I called thrice today to the customer service and customer service Mr. SHYUB and AKHILESH BHARADWAJ kept me on hold for 15 minutes each and then disconnected the phone and I was told that I will receive a call from his supervisor which I never got.

                                      Hi Team,

                                      I had booked my flight using makemytrip mobile application and applied code 'MMTAPP500' as that was my first booking using application.

                                      I have booked a flight from delhi to chennai for 17th November 2015.My booking ID:NF[protected] and booking date is 14th October 2015'.
                                      They said I will get cashback of 500 within 21 days of booking date in my bank account.

                                      After that I have raised a complaint after 21 days when my cashback was not processed. Complaint ID for the same:[protected]

                                      After registering these many complaints they have not even responded and told me later that code 'MMTAPP500' is not valid.                                       A friend of mine booked a flight on 25th september2015 starting 7th November 2015 for Delhi-Varanasi with booking ID: NF[protected] and applied code 'MMTAPP500'. He has already received cashback of 500 with RRN No.[protected]. But they are not processing my cashback.

                                      I would like to request you to get me a refund for the same as soon as possible.

                                        I cancelled my Mother Rekha Shama's Flight from Australia to India with Booking ID NN[protected] on 4th Oct. As confirmed in the mail from Rishabh Arora (Makemytrip customer care), a total amount of Rs 44997 will be refunded after cancellation. Rishab confirmed the figure multiple times. At first i wast told that refund will be credited within 48 hrs then i was told it will be done in another 78 hrs. Despite multiple follow up, It is nearly three weeks now and i have still not received my refund value. I am attaching the Cancellation confirmation and screenshot of refund value promised.
