I am Manoj M, Working with Jawaharlal College of Engineering & Technology, Ottapalm, Palakkad as Assistant Professor.
I am planning to buy compact sedan and I myself contacted INDUS, Ottapalam branch on 08.11.2021. I contacted through Mr. Praveen, Service Executive of that centre. After that one of the person namely Mr. Prakasan K Nair contacted me in this regard. This was the exchange purchase. So he came to meet me on 11.11.2021 to discuss about the dealing. So we discussed and came to a conclusion of exchanging the car and I will book D’ZIRE according to my wish.
Next day, on 12.11.2021 Mr. Prakasan K Nair called me and asked me to bring my car to his place for inspection. I was annoyed hearing this. A customer needs to go and meet representative is weird to hear. Anyhow, I went there thinking that I can see the vehicle models. I informed my wish of witnessing new vehicle model to Mr. Prakasan K Nair. He agreed. I went there, inspecting of vehicle has happened. But I couldn’t see the new vehicle. No Demo Car or sample vehicle is available in the outlet. I was very much disappointed with his activity. He said tomorrow he will come with vehicle for test drive.
On 15.11.2021, I called and asked for a test drive. The reply was shocked; you can come to our premises to take test drive was the answer given by Mr. Prakasan K Nair. Any how I managed to reach there at INDUS Ottapalam by 4.30pm. Again I was cheated for the second time. There is no vehicle available. I was disappointed and turned back.
On 17.11.2021, I called again for test drive. He asked me to come there for taking test drive. This activity made lot of disturbance. On the same day my vehicle was taken by MARUTI in the morning. Evening I went to Ottapalam for taking test drive as per the instruction given by Mr. Prakasan K Nair, the active worker who is always asking the customer to visit the outlet to make his work done. But strange, that day also no vehicle is available for test drive. Again I came back.
On 18.11.2021, As usual he asked me to visit his office for TEST DRIVE. I reach there and this time I got vehicle to test drive. I am asking test drive to make confirmation on Manual or AGS. I got SWIFT AGS for test drive. I am not satisfied with AGS. So I booked D’ZIRE on that same day by paying 185000/- as advance. Have given a customer ID: OTP430816 & Receipt Number OTP/CASH/21-22/445. They told vehicle can be delivered by January 2022.
Days went on. In between I went to outlet again for general enquiry. Also I wish to reserve registration number. Mr. Prakasan K Nair had given be an Agent Broking number for doing the process of Registration Number Booking, which I felt too bad on this activity. If a customer is going and meeting all the time and doing things by their own, then what is the need for the representative. In this way he is not doing his work. He is getting all the works done by customer.
On 25.11.2021, Mr. Prakasan K nair called me and informed that your vehicle is allotted and is shipped to Palakkad. Also said the vehicle Allotted for Kozhikode branch is shifted to Palakkad. After that on 04.12.2021, I called to enquire about the vehicle. He said that the vehicle reached Palakkad Branch. So with this statement, I arranged cash for the vehicle and paid through bank account provided by him. The cash was transferred through RTGS on 06.12.2021. Then I went to INDUS Ottapalam and Mr. Prakasan K Nair was not there. I was welcomed by Branch manager, Mr. Krishnan. He was politely responding to my queries. I came to know that the information given by mr. Prakasan K Nair is wrong. The registration number is to be booked by them, not by us and also the vehicle is in Kozhikode, may be today it will reach Palakkad. Mr. Prakasan K Nair told it was already reached Palakkad three days before. Also the manager told that Mr. Prakasan k Nair will come and meet you today. I waited till 04.00pm, no one will contact or come to meet me. Again in the evening I went to Outlet to and collected the receipt for my transactions. Receipt No is OTP/RTGS/21-22/358 and OTP/RTGS/21-22/359 (Three Lakhs each). I am in urge of booking my favourite number. As usual Mr. Prakasan k Nair is not there in outlet, So the Manager assure me that the things will be okay by 07.12.2021. With this hope I returned home.
On 07.12.2021, One Ms. Bindhu from INDUS back office called me for the car insurance related queries. I selected a premium and that process was completed and I have received a message stating that the insurance policy is issued (Proposal Number: N[protected]. So my hope has increased and called Mr. Prakasan K Nair and Ms. Bindhu to make the number booking possible by tomorrow. They agreed. Since no one from the INDUS is taken responsible for Registration Number booking, I myself taken the initiative. But I required ‘Application Number Of Purchased Vehicle Received From Dealer/ARTO’ that is supposed to be provided by Dealership. This has not given by them on 07.12.2021. I again called Prakasan k Nair, he told that he will provide on 08.12.2021.
On 08.12.2021, I called Prakasan K Nair in the morning. He told that he will provide in the noon. In after noon I again called and enquire, I was replied the things will not be done today, it will be ready by 09.12.2021 after noon. I told him, please do the things at the earliest, I may loss the number I wish. Then I called Ms. Bindhu ([protected]) around 10 times in different times, she didn’t attend they call. A very pleasant response to his customer. She was talking to another person in between, she purposefully not attending my calls. Then I called Prakasan k Nair, his response was very much shocked, the one lakh rupees is to be billed through TRUE VALUE, as the exchange was carried out. All the amount was transferred from my side and the delayed happened from distributer side and to which, we the customer needs to suffer. That too not responding to calls. A very pathetic situation form INDUS / Maruti Distributor which will making their customer not satisfactory by their behaviour. By 04.00pm I called Mr. Prakasan K Nair again and he is saying that they didn’t take fastag yet, which is mandatory to take registration. A careless behaviour form their side, a customer is requesting for the process to do as early as possible, but the delay and careless handling is done form the distributor end. I hope at least by today the process will be completed from distributer end by valuing the customer by least. Then only I can book the registration number and release the car on Monday. I hope for the best.
I was the user of Honda, Hyundai and Chevrolet. Now I am planning to move Maruti, but the initial process itself making me discomfort and the lethargic behaviour of Maruti staff make me dissatisfied at the beginning itself. As a customer, I request you to take necessary action against an irresponsive staff like Ms. Bindhu and the useless staff like Mr. Prakasan K Nair for the benefit and support of the customer and customer needs.
Due to failing the duty of Mr. Prakasan K nair and Ms. Bindhu, I faced a loss in mu NCB which they failed to inform me at the beginning.
It is also likely to inform you that they provide me the Consumer Bonus of 7000, Teachers reduction of 3000 and exchange bonus of 5000. Total benefits of 15000 they provided. But in advertisement, total of 27000 benefits is showing against D’ZIRE. Please confirm on this regard also.
Also I request to provide the split up of Road Tax amount mentioned in the worksheet (Rs. 86020). It is noted some variation in the amount with the actual.
Maruti Suzuki India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
now a week back i have received a challan of 10k rupees for the polution of my old car which i had given to the delear.
pl look in to matter on priroity and resolve the same.
