Dear sir/madam,
I, shubh agarwal am a student of class x and have been a loyal customer to mcdonald's since the past 1- years. i have always relished the mcaloo tikki burgers since childhood and salute ronald for it. i have been eating at your chain of restaurants since long as already mentioned but i feel that a few points solicit the attention of the managing director of the company and of hardcastle restaurants pvt. ltd. which is why i am writing to you.
Back in 2006, i used to eat dinner at your lokhandwala, mumbai (india) branch twice every weekend and continued to do so till 2011. then i moved to a boarding school. at that time i used to eat 5 mcaloo tikki burgers in one meal and the cutlets / patties were thick and large. also it came with two slices of onions and two slices of tomatoes. the buns were extremely soft and fresh too. however, with the passing of time, i feel that the benchmark set by your team in 2008 has now been lost.
Two months previously, i ate at your lokhandwala, mumbai (india) branch and soon fell ill the next day with serious stomach infections, severe vomiting, loose motion, and 103 degrees celsius fever. i assumed that it was due to something else and not the burgers. however, history repeated itself again. just yesterday i ate at your urse branch on the start of the mumbai - pune expressway, mumbai (india) along with 4 of my friends. 3 of my friends at the mcspicy paneer burger, 1 ate the vegetarian maharaja mac, and i ate the mcaloo tikki. surprisingly, all three who ate the mcspicy paneer burger have fallen ill with the same conditions today. their names are hem d. bang, [censored]in kamalia, and vedant goenka. all three of them are currently suffering from vomiting, loose motion, fever, and stomach ache.
Moreover, the quality of the burgers have also drastically deteriorated. the burgers now come with irregularly cut onions, soggy cutlets / patties, sometimes 1 tomato, or sometimes 2 rotten tomatoes, and even the buns are now harder and seem not fresh. the consistency which was maintained few years ago has now been lost in the past 3-4 years, i guess!
On television last week, i also came across a news stating that mcdonald's may soon stop giving tomatoes in its burgers in certain outlets. it's sad to know that after two slices of onions, my favourite burgers will in the near future lose the company of tomatoes too!
It hurts me to vision the dark future of my favourite eating place if the above continues. sir/madam, i know this e-mail may not mean much to you and you may feel that it is a time waste. however, i would like to reiterate that the quality control checks probably are not as well performed as before and that many more customers like me may be suffering from the same. i am not sure whether the quality is worsening because the company wants to increase its profits or for some other matter. from 8 meals per month now i am allowed only 1 meal at mcdonals. my mother does not allow me to regularly eat at mcd india anymore.
Sir/madam, i would like to know whether it is only in india and more specifically - mumbai that the quality of burgers has lowered or is it the entire globe? i don't think that this may be the case in other countries such as the united states. i say this becuase, firstly it is your home country, and secondly because there anyone can easily sue you for the same.
Sir/madam, i am not trying to be harsh or blame anyone for anything but am just asking you to look into the matter with closest attention and see the magic which follows. i am sure your sales will shoot up like a rocket if you maintain a good quality.
Furthermore, i would like to bring to your notice that at your lokhandwala branch, mumbai (india), i have seen with my own eyes that an employee picked up a fallen cutlet / patty from the ground and placed it into a customer's burger on 14th february 2016. when the customer confronted him that he has placed a dirty cutlet / patty in her burger, he argued that he had thrown it away in the dustbin.
I hope that you may read this e-mail carefully and that it reaches the concerned person without any manipulation.
If this reaches the ceo of mcdonald's i request you sir/madam to please let me know that my feedback has benefited the company in a positive way and that you have successfully raised the standards and the burgers are once more as tasty and fresh as ever before.
You can contact me on the same e-mail address for any more information as required or call me on +[protected].
Hoping to get a reply from your end :)
Yours faithfully,
Shubh agarwal
