I had booked MeruGenie 1 day in advance from Kadugodi, Bangalore to Yeshwantpur Railway Station Bangalore dated 28/02/2015 at 7.30p.m & the cab is confirmed by Meru & My booking Ref no is 36001559.. I even called to Meru customer-care thrice for further confirmation about the cab & they assured me that your booking is confirmed & you will receive the cab & driver details 20 min before the scheduled time. After not receiving any information I again called them, they told we will sent you the details in 2 minute but no information communicated. So at 7.30 again I called them, then they told we are having shortage of cabs & we cannot provide you. It was raining outside & I was getting delayed to catch the train, I tried to convince them to provide a cab irrespective of whatever they charge but they not agreed. Finally I could not arrange it any other source & I missed the train & could not attend a big marriage function. This is worst service I faced & all the trouble I faced is only due to MERU. If MERU cannot provide the cab in right time then why are they committing to deliver & if they cannot deliver due to some reason then why they don't give a call & inform us well in advance so that we can do some other arrangements. The money I lost for the ticket & the time, who is going to compensate. This Cab Company should be banned completely; unnecessarily they are putting us in trouble. My booking Ref no is 36001559.     I have citrus account linked with meru cab account. I have not traveled on 19 Feb 2015 but they have deducted 122 Rs from my citrus account and they are claiming that they have not deducted and they refuse to return my money even I have not traveled. They deducted money under fake booking reference number 35658418. Moreover they seems to deduct money next day of travel. Another important thing to note is that driver do not allow passengers to go until money is deducted or they receive full payment in case. And they deducted money on next day. This itself proof that they have done fraud. There is another case where I have traveled from Manipal hospital to green layout domain near graphite india. The driver has started the meter long back before the place from where i have booked the cab. The total distance is hardly 11 km but they deducted money for 22km. I am looking forward for getting my money refunded in my citrus account from where they deducted.

      The worst cab service in India. I used to take Meru services 4 years back, But due to their negligence and careless attitude in providing proper information about the cab availability on time.Due to which I had missed my flight. It happened to lot of people in those days in Bangalore. You can get many complaints against Meru. After 4 years I thought they might have improved their service to compete with other players in the market, but its wrong. They are the same and the worst fact is their call centre. The worst than any. I would say other players are better than Meru. Can somebody suggest me how to take Meru to consumer court for customer harassment. People should not miss out their important moment of their life because of the unreliable cab service. How do you believe if somebody says cab will be there by next 5 mins where as reality is it comes after 40 mins.

        I had booked a cab for 2nd Jan 2015. It was scheduled to arrive at 7:30pm for the pickup. When I reached the driver, he simply stated that he has logged off and I need to reach Meru Cabs for booking another cab. When I reach Meru Cabs they say that, they are sending another cab by 8pm; which never arrived. Mark that this was my second call. When I reached the third time to check the status of the cab which was being sent as replacement; I simply get a reply that there were no cabs nearby and so they will not be able to send any. My train was scheduled to leave by 9:30pm and I wasn't even informed that the cab has been cancelled till the time I called them up. Due to this I incurred a loss of around Rs.11000 for to and fro train tickets. I even missed an interview due to your service. There was a time when I could rely on Meru cabs blindly and used to recommend the same to others but these days I am ashamed to even mention that I am thinking of booking the cab through Meru. The cab and entire history of the cab booking on 2nd Jan is listed below with timeline: The cab for 7:30PM was to be chauffeured by NAGARAJ NAIKA [protected]. The second cab message never arrived.

          I have transfered to meru genie wallet of Rs. 1000/- and i have booked a car but i have not used all money. my money to be refunded approx 650/- but not received till date. i have talked to customer care executive so many times but no body is giving any response.My mobile No is [protected] and my E-Mail [protected]@gmail.com.             MERUCABS is a fraud company, we have used the coupun which was provided by merucabs, the app accepted the coupun code, no error message, the customer call people told me that i will get a discount of Rs.250 after my journey gets over, but after our travel we were schocked to see the actual meter fare and there was no discount nor not even a single rupee was reduced. Their app is a crap and their customer service is pathetic, no response to customer emails. whenever we call to get their help, they say their team will get back to you shortly, but none called us so far. Also their drivers are unprofessional, the driver called me to get the address, i told the address atleast 6 times and he was unable to find my address inspite of repeated times telling him the way, we had a tough time managing the driver as well. DON'T GO FOR MERUCABS, WORST SERVICE AND FALSE COMMITMENTS

              Horrible service of meru genie.Yesterday i booked and did biggest mistake of my life.i called half an hour before but they told they wil assign but after calling 10times also they didnt assign a cab or send me driver details and it was 15mins late after my pickup time.sometimes they put me on hold.sometimes connecting to mumbai office.sometimes just say sorry and we will assign.finally after struggling so much they assigned me meru cab and told me to pay meru cab charges.on asking, the reply was madam arrange ur own transport and they have done a favor assigning me meru cab.what the hell tel me half n hour before i[censored] cant make it.Ipaid thrice of normal charges along with tension where i had to wait with luggage and kid on road.The worst expereince of my life.Never ever will book.I dont know so much high expense for such short trip.Horrible people.Its their strategy to loot people.God knows why they accept booking when they cant make it

                Hi, I am kaushik from Kolkata, and I believe Meru is just fraud in Kolkata . The strategy they have taken up from business is definitely hurting customer and in way customers are loosing confidence and trust on Meru . I am referring to ref.id 35087330, which was booked on 7th Feb from Paikpara to Beleghata . I tried to get confidence on availability of cab because earlier as well I had bad experience with Meru in Kolkata . They didn’t turn ….neither they confirmed on cancelation and atleast I tried 10 times to reach them but phone line were coming engaged . Trust me, it as horrified experience as I had to travel along with my family ……..and was in mess in last moment .                   I had booked genie cab of Meru cab service on 4th Feb at 15:50 PM for pickup at 16:50 PM through mobile app, then immediately SMS came showing that cab details will be shared 20 mins before pickup, but no SMS came till 16:50, Driver called me at 16:40 asking that where he has come, and he was 12 KM far from my place... I got SMS at 17:00 PM about cab details... I called customer care they told sorry for this issue, I was relying on them for pickup, after that I had to arrange auto to go to station. Due to which I had missed my train. CRN No:[protected] pickup place:- Sector- 17 rohini drop at Ananad Vihar station. NEVER USE MERU CAB, WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER SEEN TILL DATE

                    I regret to inform you that I have booked the above can from your app and the driver after arriving in time after starting the vehicle has demanded that he would accept only cash and not wallet. I explained to him that I have already booked under wallet and now at the end of journey my wallet will be debited and if I give cash it will not be accounted. He started showing down vehicle and said he will stop there itself if it is not paid by cash and he have reason saying Meru owe in in thousands. I tried to help me understand the situation called your number and the first person after hearing me fully for four minutes kept in wait saying that he would transfer my call to Mumbai. After the long minutes of silence one Rohit came on line and he started asking me details all over again. And finally he says he thought he was talking to the driver! He said I should only pay by wallet but refuse to talk to the can driver and make him understand. All this driver is listening. Rohit finally said his back office only can resolve it and kept the phone. Your can driver Kiran said he would drop us in the middle of a desolated place (not even a bus stand was in sight) I refused to budge to hey down and told him I can call Blore police and file a case of wrongful act of the driver. Then he relented and start mumbling all the way and drove the vehicle very badly to show his resentment and after stopping the vehicle he picked up fight saying that he would think he has donated the money to me! I told him I do not require his charity and his services had already been paid by me and showed my mobile. But he did not stopped calling me names when I left him. Worst thing is after all this is over he started ringing up my mobile which I did not picked up. Now this is the state of affairs of your company and after booking the vehicle for an important drop to the airport both your driver and your front office guys taking the matter coolly and not coming to the rescue of the customer speaks volumes of your negligence in rendering the service and abusing customers after debuting their wallets is it seems worse than pickpocketing. I would like to lodge s police complaint or take to the issue legally with my lawyer in Bangalore unless you come back to me with credible reply and suitable compensation for the slip sod service and for defamation.                       hi, I am Chaithanya, booked cab on 24 th Jan 2015, with booking Id :34448120 at 5am in the morning . I have 1000 in my citrus wallet and this is the first time I am booking a cab. the driver told me to give 228 rs (fare) by hand .after the trip money got deducted from my wallet too. I ask you to return my cash by further enquiry with the driver.

                        I have booked Meru cab service from Kukas to Jaipur air port on 26th morning 2:50 am, i got confirmation and Driver details by SMS CB no was RJ14TB6700 Chauffer : Rajendra Kumar Mobile no: [protected], Ref. No was 34530880, confirmed booking and no body called me up till 3 o clock then i called up the driver he is not ready to respond, taking call and disconnecting after hearing me., then i called up meru customer service and complained about this he confirmed that the driver is 1 kms near by our hotel location, will reach you with in any moment and asked me to be patient, so i waited till 3: 30 am then i called up and asked were is the cab your c.s team put me on hold and disconnected after a long hold then i called driver again he told he took some body from the Place KUKAS were our hotel situated and took other customer for Jaipur airport.he already left from there at 3 am itself, and we still waiting for him to come, This driver have no courtesy to call the customer or while calling not giving answer and took some other for higher fair may be.But our flight was at 5:40 from here 35 to 45 minutes distance so we higher your taxi in advance, If our flight got missed who will bare the cost and your service is worse than ever in any of the Taxi service i experienced. One thing i come to know Meru have no control over drivers they can do as they want. If you will not compensate it or didnt give proper answer for it, I have all the proof and SMS each and every conversation with me, i will go to consumer court as well as publish it through Social media Facebook, youtube and mainly in Whatsapp, make sure every week it will published, and am in service industry from past 15 years, will cover in all meadia and travel partners and make sure no body will use MERUTAXI in jaipur at least in future Ragesh [protected]

                          Hi Akhil sukhija this side. My mobile no is [protected]. I have been using meru cabs daily since last 3 months. You can check on your records. On 23rd jan there was a hiccup in charging my wallet. I tried thrice and on all instances it got cancelled. Amount was deducted from my account but wallet balance was not updated. I lodged a complaint. No record of the same was provided. While paying for the ride the payment was done via citrus. Which was later reversed. And result was that i was blacklisted for no fault of mine. I was not even contacted before blacklisting. This kind of customer service has set me back from using your service in future. I hope you are able to resolve this quickly. I have been getting 48 working hours notices from your customer service without any actions. Also the current customer service had no records of my previous problems. This is sad in terms of the customer service you guys promise. Regards Akhil

                            This is regarding their disgusting cab service. Every time I book a cab, the driver calls and ask for the drop location. And then if the distance is short (even 10 kms), the rowdy cab drivers start making excuses. Incident 1: 21 Jan 2015. Made a booking from Manipal Hospital, Bangalore to Outer Ring Road. The driver called in and checked the drop location and then said his car is broken, so cancel and book another cab. Ridiculous. Booked another cab. Booking ID 33914559. The driver was again rude. He asked me to meet at the road crossing instead of coming to Manipal Hospital entrance. Then later, did not pay heed to my repeated request to turn on the AC. Incident 2: 24 Jan 2015. Made a booking from Adarsh Palm Retreat to Phoenix Market City. The driver called, and made some lame excuse that he is very far and cannot come, so please cancel and book again. I cancelled and booked again. KA53A7366. KUMAR YESUDAS. The same thing. The driver called and gave the same lame excuse and asked me to cancel and book again. I did not cancel this time. He called me 6 times to argue why I am not cancelling the booking and threatening me when I said I won't cancel the cab. I called the call center and complained. They said they will send another cab in another 10 mins and cancelled the booking. They did not send a cab. I again called the customer care, the same thing happened. They cancelled the booking and assured me of another cab. I spent 1 hr just booking a cab and arguing with your illiterate cab drivers. Is this the kind of service that the company offers? Do you people think that after all the daily grind that a person goes through on a daily basis, a customer is capable of handling your ridiculous and rude cab drivers? Its a matter o[censored]tter shame that a cab service that I used to be proud to call whenever I had to travel, has become a mafia kind of service, where people need to argue like the auto drivers on bangalore roads. Its not just me, all my friends have similar experiences with your cab service. It is such a sorry state of your cab service. No wonder people will shift to other cab services. The complaint from one person may not make any difference to their business, but the cab service is making its way towards doom, slowly but steadily.

                              I have attached the screenshots of the ride which I took on 23/1/2014 evening in a Meru cab in Kolkata. My booking ID was 34384777. The first one is the screenshot of the Meru app in Nokia Lumia after my booking. It clearly has the coupon name marked "foryou250" which was accepted by the system during my booking. But the real scenario was very different which is almost equivalent to the English term "fraud". The coupon was not updated in the database. The driver did not accept the coupon. So I called the customer care 3 times. The first two representatives clearly told me "yes, ma'am! The coupon is absolutely valid pay only the extra amount (50 rs)." I did the same. But the driver was not convinced since he hadn't received any confirmation, so we again called the customer care and the representative who picked up this time told me that the offer won't be valid and so I have to pay the full amount without giving any explanations regarding why was my offer not accepted. One representative will say pay only the extra amount, the offer is very much valid and the other representative will say just the opposite thing. The company itself is confused with what they want!! The representatives are inefficient and their statements are contradictory to their fellow mates. On top of that I had to spend 30 minutes in the cab even after reaching my destination just because they lack the basic skills needed to maintain a persistent database! Even after the incident I have been trying to reach them for the exact reason regarding why I had to pay the full amount when I had the coupon accepted while I had booked the cab, but I couldn't reach them. I dropped a mail at their feedback centre but no replies received. Please help.

                                I booked a ride on 6th january 2015 from Bangalore to Bandipur to and fro. I had recharged my wallet for Rs. 5000 for the trip . However at the end of the trip the bill was for 6500 . As I was informed by one of your representatives that I could pay the remaining amount in cash in case the amount exceeded my wallet amount. However to my surprise I was informed by another representative that this option was not available. after a lot of fuss, I paid the entire amount in cash . And subsequently I withdrawn my entire wallet amount to my bank account . However its been more than 13 days and I have still not received my money. despite of calling several times to the helpdesk, I am only getting a run around and not resolution

                                  This company has been using my name (Arvind Joseph) and email id registered ([protected]@gmail.com) and booking cab service for some other person. I have escalated and did receive a confirmation this would not be repeated but to my surprise the company has continued this activity. A total of 4 trips have been booked using my name and email for the same have been sent to my registered mail id. I would like to report this matter so the Indian Consumer Complaints Forum.

                                    Booking reference: 33045501 Cab # DL1YD6277 Meru has started a service that is no different from UBER. It has all the characyers o[censored]BER for which they were blacklisted. 1. The cab did not have any logo of Meru, it means it was a hired taxi and not Meru. 2. The cab did not have GPS except the mobile of driver 3. The cab did not have automatic system of billing and other info that Meru has. 4. He even stopped to pay taxes at Noida border that Meru cabs do not 5. The cab driver did not know the way and despite advise took longer extra longer routes. He did not have GPS to locate address. He drove some 20 kms extra. The bill was Rs 932 from Delhi Railway station to Amity Noida & wanted to pay the taxes extra with no receipt given. He could not provide thermal paper receipt rather had his own printed slips. 6. The control room who I called several times gave lame excuses and defended the driver. Instead of action, Meru sent me silly SMS several times asking to use Meru in future. I missed my meeting and on written complaint, no response received from MERU. MERU ENFRENCHISED CHEATING OPERATIONS!!!

                                      I have booked a cab for my colleagues through Meru mobile app. As per my booking, the charges for that trip is 2600 Rupees. But they have charged 3921 Rupees. They have overcharged 1321 Rupees. When I made calls for more than 150 times, their customer care representatives were cheated me and not given me any proper responses for my calls. Even they are not responding for the emails also. They have sent email that they have collected overcharge due to the error in the meter and they have given me the discount code to utilize at my next booking as their token of apology. But I was demanding to payback the overcharged amount to my bank account but no one is responding properly. My Booking ID: 32256225 Booking : From Vadodara Taj Hotel to Vadodara Taj Hotel (Outstation One Day Package) They are not at all responding for the phone calls. They are not at all responding for the e-mails after booking. Their customer care is working only for Booking cabs (Pre-Usage and they are not for Post-Usage).

                                      U people are good enough on giving commitments. But nothing will happen. I was asking your team to deposit the over charged amount to Meru Wallet. This also not done as on today.

                                        Very Good in Technology but never never never rely on them...Autowalas are much much better then Meru Drivers...I had bad experience with Meru many times but today was intolerable... It was early morning today I booked Meru cab from Jayanagar bus-stand to my place after overnight journey from my hometown. I was accompanied with my family and no doubt with luggage..Driver reported with an attitude on face and never helped loading luggage. I however managed to keep all the luggage in boot space but I had one hand bag which had to be kept on seat. Meru driver behaved so rudely and did not allow me to take the bag inside. I requested him politely many times but he was behaving very rudely. I had a 2 months infant in hand who was shivering with Cold and my other kids tired already sitting inside the car. I even said him that I would pay him extra. But he had so attitude and humble-less he dint even bother we getting down from the cab with little faces who were exhausted out of the journey. I just got down hired 2 autos and reached home. Meru - Never Rely on us...
