Hello,

I am availing the mobile bill facility from Bharti Airtel with the mobile number [protected], and have been charged a wrong amount of gprs usage on 2G while i have already taken Rs. 199 per month unlimited pack. also i have never requested to activate 3G on my mobile.

Airtel people are making wrong charges of Total amount after discount: Rs.634.73/- on 2G services

All the amount should be discounted since i have been using unlimited plan and i have checked my itemized bill also in which i can see that i have not used internet before activation the GPRS Plan.

Therefore the 2G charges after discount @ Rs. 634.37/- are totally wrong.
Please clarify why should i pay GPRS usage while i have been using 199 GPRS plan since[protected].

3G Usge:
Total Usage on bill dated[protected]: 602750 KB
Amount: Rs. 1808.25/-
Discount given: Rs.1442.98/-
Total amount after discount: Rs.365.27/

My question is, while i have never requested to activate 3G pack on my number then why you have activated 3G chargeable plan without requesting from customer end. I was never aware of my 3G paid plan activation. I continuously used my GPRS plan keeping in the mind that i have already activated 2G plan on 199 per month and if i use GPRS then i would not have been charged for any GPRS service.

You can check into your system about my request for 3G activation. I have never requested to activate.

By above activation, It seems that Airtel network any time can activate any service without any pre or post activation intimation.

I am totally dissatisfied and mentally upset for your false charges on my airtel mobile.

This is totally harassment of customer.

Airtel is still denying the wrong charges while they have charged......

Airtel - mobile — Billing and wrong charges

Iam using airtel postpaid connection. From Dec to Jan bill they have given sent a Fraud bill.
This network is having GPRS service, For activation of this service we have to give one message, it will be activated with in 3hrs. But it didn't get activated upto 8 or 9 hrs , so i sent cacellation request , but it not updated in thier server and they charged for 20 or more days.
Even thier billing system is Fraud and illegal to India Tax concern.

POSTPAID MOBILE — invoice

I am not getting time tp time invoice phisically at my place.Your are requested to send it in time now onwards as to keep track record for my balance with you.
Also forward at once invoice copy by an email to my new email id

Airtel Mobile Services — WRONG BILL

AIRTEL MOBILE SERVICE IS THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE SEEN IN MY LIFE. THE CUSTOMER CARE PEOPLE DO NOT RESPOND WELL WHENEVER YOU ARE NEED.
IN MY CASE, GPRS SERVICE WAS ACTIVE ONLY FOR 5 DAYS . ON 6TH DAY I SENT REQUEST DEACTIVATION OF GPRS. I HAVE BEEN TOLD BY THE CUSTOMER CARE THAT YOU WILL BE CHARGED ONLY FOR THE DAYS O[censored]SAGE. AND THE SAME DAY I RECEIVED THE DEACTIVTION MESSAGE.
BUT I SURPRISED, MY BILL WAS SHOWING 399RS. CHARGE .
I CALLED UP CUSTOMER CARE AND ASKED FOR THE SAME. THE REPLY WAS AIRTEL WILL ADJUST IN THE NEXT MONTH. WHEN CONTACTED ONCE AGAIN TO CUSTOMER CARE, REPLY WAS OUR SYSTEM IS NOT OK, CALL ADTER 2 HR. I CALLED 2 HR. LATER, REPLY WAS MY GPRS IS STILL ACTIVE AND WILL NOW BE DEACIVATED.
(AIRTEL IS THE ONLY RESPONSIBEL FOR NOT FOLLOWING THE DEACTIVATION SMS THEY SENT ME.) I AGAIN SENT DEACTIVTION SMS AND RECEIVED SMS SAYING THAT YOUR GPRS IS ALREADY DEACTIVE. I CALLED UP AGAIN TO CUSTMOER CARE AND TOLE THEM THAT I WILL NOT PAY UNLESS YOU CIRRECT MY NEXT BILL FOR THIS MISMATCH. AIRTEL AGREED TO MAKE ADJUSTMENT. BUT AGAING I RECEIVED THE BILL WITH GPES CHARGES OF 399. THUS THSI TIME I HAVE BEEN CHARGED FOR 399 + 399 = 898 RS. GPRS. BILL. AFTER CONTACTING AGAING THE REPLY WAS AIRTEL WILL ADJUST IN NEXT BILL. SAME STORY REPEATINF FROM LAST THRESS MONTHE. AND FINALLY THIS MONTH I GOT TOTAL GPES CHARGES 399 +399 +226.1 = AFRAID OF SUMMING UP.
TODAY WHEN AIRTEL CALLED ME AGAING I REUESTED ABOUT MY GPRS CHARGES. THE REPLY WAS SO ARROGANT BY A LADY EXECUTIVE THAT ANY BODY WOULD HAVE THOUGHT OF SLAPPING HER STAIGHT FORWARD.

Airtel India - GPRS — Wrong charges of GPRS actication.

Hi,

Airtel Mobile no. [protected]

I have activated GRPS for a day by sending SMS GRPSACT TO 222(Chagres Rs.25 for a day), They

have activated this service within 10 min, After sometime my GPRS service automatically

deactivated.. when i enquire about the balance i shoked that i have just 2.18 balnace in my

account.(Initially balnace was 52.58).

I have spoken to customercare executive for this issue. They have accepted this mistake from

there side. they have added Rs.25 to my account.(Reason give by customercare executive -

wrongly debited twise).

At end of our call they have given assurance u can used this serive for till next 24 hrs.

after 30 mins i again GRPS deactivated automactically.

when i enquire about the balance again, i shoked that i have just 0.18 balnace in my account

Again i have spoken to customercare executive for this issue. They have given feedback that they have deducted balance for GRPS Service usage for last two days.

I have not use this service for last two days. They have wrongly debited by account.

Airtel Mobile — wrong charges in bill

Dear Sir,
My mobile number is. [protected]. Airtel mobile charges me Rs.15/- as downloading charges 5 to 6 times a month in my bill. I reqested every time that please deactiviate this type of services & reverse the charges. But yet they had not taken any action.

I am Rakesh Salunke, I am using Airtel mobile Post Paid connection No [protected]. I am using this connection from last 1 year. I found that in the bill details of Nov to December. I have been charge Rs. 748 for VAS services however I have not activated any VAS service on my mobile by any mean.
I have already informed aritel cust care and Nodal officer about this and as per them these are correct bill. Could you please help to get this stuff.

Airtel Postpaid — Wrong GPRS charge

Hello,

I have been charged wrongly for the GPRS connection activated on my postpaid plan. I raised a complaint but they were Not willing to accept that it was charged wrong. Meanwhile I went abroad and didnt receive any physical document for final bill so I couldn't make any payment. Now I received a email saying a count case is filed against me and I need to appear in the Bnagalore court which is Not at all possible.
Please help how to resolve this. My postpaid connection was [protected] with Airtel.

Airtel Mobile — Calls charged wrongly

I am subscriber of the above mobile No. [protected] with a plan having local call charges @ Re.0.50/minute. However, in the last bill dated 9.04.2010 received by me, the following calls have been charged to me as local calls @ Rs.6/minute:-

1. I have never subscribed to the service of 56789 which has been charged @Rs 6/minute, as against local call charge of Re.0.50/minute as per the subscribed plan.

2. In case the charge is higher for any service than the charges advised to me, my express consent should have been taken before allowing such service on my mobile, which has not been done.

3. From the details of calls mentioned above, it is found that the gap between the calls is much less than the duration for which calls have been charged. For example, the gap between the first and the second call is 0:42:36 (17:01:43 minus 16:19:07) whereas call is charged for 60 minutes. Similarly the gap between the second call and the third one is 0:37:37 which is also charged for 60 minutes.

4. I have not made these calls. I am sure these calls have been wrongly charged to my mobile. I am using this mobile for a year and not once I have called the said number during this period. It is inconceivable of me to make calls to such numbers during office hours of working day and that too for such a long duration as stated in the bill.

5. On taking up the matter with Airtel I was given the same response again and again that the calls are correctly charged as per their record, inspite of of my raising the issue repeatedly by phone as well as emails addressed to various authorities of Airtel. Lastly, today I have been told by their Appellate Authority that they had verified the calls and found the same as correctly charged. And further that it was the best they could do in the matter.

In view of the above, I most humbly approach your good offices to seek redressal of my complaint, so that injustice done to me is undone and the service provider is prevented from fleecing the customers in the name of premium service at exorbitant rates of charges without their knowledge and consent.

Airtel Postpaid — Wrong charges

Respected Sir,

My Airtel Mobile no is [protected].This number was on my mother's name.I work with HCL Technologies and I got an offer from my company to change my no to corporate account.
As there were very good and cheaper services were offered with this corporate accnt,I applied to get this number converted from my mother's name to my name with a corporate plan on it.
They asked me to clear the whole outstanding and unbilled usage before transferring the ordinory no. to the coroprate accnt.They said that its not possible to transfer the accnt when there is an outstanding on it.So I cleared all the outstanding and Unbilled usage on my previuos accnt.

After clearing the whole bill they changed my no to the corporate accnt.But now they have sent a bill in which they are asking me to clear the same Rs635 to pay and saying that this amount was left in my last account.I talked to them they have refused to remove the charges.And I aksed for all the billing payment detaisl for my previous accnt.They said the accnt has been closed so no details avlbl.

AirTel — wrong mobile bill

I have bought a mobile connection from the vendor of airtel who came to our office.he insited me to buy a connection from him, while purchasing this mobile connection I made him clear that i am already having two telephone sets on my seat and another mobile connection of BSNL and I asked him not to activate the connection as I will have to purchase a new double sim mobile for using this mobile connection. after purchase of ne mobile I will contact you for activation. I couldnot purchase the new mobile due to which I could not use the mobile connection till date but the agent has activated my connection without giving me any information. I have not made a single call from this sim but the company has sent me the bill of this connection. the number of this connection is [protected]. kindly deactivate my connection and also stop sending me any bill as I have not used this connection. you may confirm from the record available with you.

Airtel/ mobile service — Charged with wrong bill

Dear Concerned,

I am using my Airtel Mobile number ([protected]) from last 8 yrs & never faced any problem but last to last month i received a call to activate my GPRS service which earlier i was not using & they activated this next day itself but immediately within 10 days i realized that this service is no use for me & asked them to stop this service but they said it can be done after your bill will generate. When i received my bill the charges for GPRS was whopping 6000 Rs & that really given me shock because my bill use to be around 1500 Rs per month at the time of taking this service they said in 799 rs you can use unlimited GPRS in a month then how can they charge me with this amount & now they are threating me to discontinue my service because they know that i cant change my number.

This was the whole case & I have written several time to them but all went in vain, Now i m left with no hope from these people.
Request you to kindly intervene in this matter & give me a solution.

Airtel — Wrong charges for GPRS internet

I had activated a 1 gb free GPRS plan, but I have been charged Rs. 872 for Airtel GPRS even though the plan has been activated. The Customer support refuses to give a waiver for the amount of the GPRS, even though I am a subscriber of Airtel GPRS for more than 5 months.

Airtel Mobile — wrong amount charged

Without any information the company (Airtel) started the valua added services any deduct the balance, within 8 days they deduct balance & after doing complain they are not giving any complain number.So plz make sure that in future this will not be happen or other wise i have to switch over to other company.

    Hello,

    I am using Airtel boardband connection no.[protected] account no. [protected]. In the following bill period 2/26/2013 - 3/25/2013 and 3/26/2013 - 4/25/2013 they have charged me for a Smartbyte purchase (an amount of Rs. 1499 + taxes ). This purchase request has not been initiated by me or my family member.

    I raised this concern with their call centre representative as well as emailed on [protected]@in.airtel.com...

    I have taken the corporate plan from Airtel and my number got activated on June 28,2013. At that time I was told by one of the Airtel representative that internet usage will be absolutely free for one month’s time. And now I have been charged approx. Rs 600 for internet usage. And the bill has been generated of approx. Rs. 724.42 only for 7 days till July 4,2013. And I am not at all liable to pay this amount as the fault is from Airtel side of making false commitment with the customer.

    For the same, I spoke to one of Airtel's representative. He told me that Airtel will compensate Rs 300 of my bill. I would wish to continue using their services, only if they will waive off all of the internet charges that they have made to my bill else I’d prefer to go back to Idea network.

    Also, for the next month as well, I received a message from Airtel on July 09,2013at 4:22 PM which states” Mobile internet usage for your Airtel mobile [protected] as on[protected] is approx. 23.59 MB. Charges applicable as per your usage are Rs 241.56”.

    Also in month of June while coordinating for this connection, he told me that internet will be free of cost for one month’s time. So, as the number got activated, I was in that impression that internet is free till 28/07/2013 and that is why I kept using internet and suddenly on 09/07/2013 I got one message from Airtel for the amount that has been charged for internet usage. This is completely unacceptable.

    While I got this connection, I was told that this would be a corporate connection, with a monthly rental of Rs 199, with 600 free sms per month and free internet. Post which I got my first bill which was unbelievable. I was happy with my prepaid connection and the only reason I agreed to take this post paid connection was to lower down my mobile expenses, however, it looks like am cheated with false promises after I had a word with the customer care department.

    I am told that none of the above deals were a part of the plan I have opted for. Also, this isn't a corporate connection either. I do not have 600 sms, neither do I have free internet usage.
    This is unacceptable from a reputated brand like Airtel fooling their customers with wrong and false promises. I would appreciate if a waiver can be raised to waive off the charges for the internet use as it was a wrong commitment made to me which I was totally unaware of.

    Also i dropped an email to Airtel for the same but there is no response as yet. I have clearly stated to them that If this issue is not sorted out I am willing to approach the consumer court to fight for my rights but there is no way am paying for these illegal charges.

    I am mentioning twice a time here, and still my issue is not resolved. Nobody is responding. Its still on the same status.

    This time, I would look forward for an appropriate assistance.

    AirTel — internet charges

    I had [protected] number of Airtel. the plan was like this Rs. 1 for STD, 50 paise for locals and Rs.99/- per month for internet charges and it was unlimited for the whole month. When i received the invoice i was surprised to see that they have levied WAP charges of Rs.260/- Approximately, for the waiver of the above i requested many times to corrert my invoice but nothing from your end happened now in the next invocie also i got the same problem and as the invoice was wrong i did not made payment and subsequently my SIM was inactivated with informing me about the same. it casued great inconveniece to me. Now i want you to help me for correcting my invoices and letting me know that after correcting it how much do i have to pay so that i can get my SIM activated again

    AIRTEL TELECOM — false charges and no hearing of complaint

    i have an airtel connection number [protected], i've done a recharge online on 6th jan 2009. after that i am receiving a message on daily basis that "thank you for receiving text based services something" and rs. 10 is deducted from my account. i called to airtel customer care thrice a day almost and they told me that my money will be refunded and they sort this problem out.Although money was refunded but next day same problems occurs again. till 13th of january this all continues and after that the refund of money is stopped, i've talked to some customer care executives and all told me to wait for 24/46/72 hours and the problem will be solved but nothing happened. on 17th of janauary when i called the customer care center these people said that i am telling a lie and money is deducted. and after that he said" thank you for calling airtel" and disconnect the call abrubtly.

    although it was some financial loss for me (rs. 10 per day after 13th jan), but bigger than that it was a mental trauma. and wastage of time for me. i has to call airtel thrice a day, and sometime the called ended for 45-50 minutes as they put me on hold for 10-20 good minutes in between. as i have recharged on 6th i can't disconnect the services as there were an amount of money in my account. i am feeling helpless and trapped and mentally harassed by airtel .

    AirTel — illegal reduced charges

    In my mobile every week display the message " Dear user your subscription to Yahoo!Zone has been renewed for 7 days. You have been charged Rs 10 for 7 days." but i can't go to any yahoo zone area so you reduced the charge is cheating. So you are recharged the reduced amount on my account. Otherwise we will meet legaly and publish the all newspaper for cheating process.

    M/s. Idea — Free sms being charged

    Dear sir,
    Idea Telecom charges Rs1 for customers who have a free SMS pack for Diwali according to the TRAI . As per the tariff code, given to the customers, to check the exact dates when it is going to be charged, it was mentioned 18th & 19th october clearly. They ,making a mistake of not updating it, abruptly charged us Rs1/- on 16th of october when it was not even Diwali. Giving a call to the Customer Care, to enquire about the same, they were very rude giving us new codes to check the Updated information.Due to this negligence from their side we as IDEA customers, have lost our money. Please consider my grievance.
    Even for me they have charged 1rupee on 16th. I had checked by calling 150 and also *121#. When I called customer care, there was some problem and I wasn't able to talk to them. A recorded message was telling to call after 24hrs.

    Airtel — cheat us & taken Rs.600 for billing

    My name is mukul this happened with me too. I got a call from airtel malad no -[protected]. She charged me 600 Rs and didn’t change my plan.

    I received my internet settings in Spice QT-56 form Airtel customer care,

    But they not give me proper setting so I lost my more balance on Phone, where I was using internet pack also,

      I gave the below complaint to AIRTEL . You can find the initial reply. They gave time and not responded till that time. Again I sent a mail for that they replied TRAI ordered them to charge more for UAN 1860 series. I searched TRAI website for such order. I could not find any tariff for UAN in TRAI website from JUNE 1st 2013. Could you please tell me how get redressal for my grievance

      My name sujit kumar jha having airtel connection and my M no[protected] . I have airtel internet plan Rs 198/3072MB /month . on 29th jun'13 i have sent SMS to airtel that STOP my GPRS . on 1st of july they have stopped gprs but they have revised my plan which is RS 154/2492MB approx/month.

      * i have sent SMS for GPRS and not for plan deactivation .
      * till 28th jun'13 i have used 2898MB according to airtel SMS which is still in my inbox .
      * earlier bill was RS 8765.05 approx .
      * After my interference they have reduced my bill which is now Rs 7100 approx .
      * on what base they have reduced bill amount ?
      * On what base they have changed my plan if i have used 2898MB till 28th jun'13 and i have sent on 29th jun'13.
      * i have sent SMS for GPRS not for plan than how they can deactivate my plan .

      AirTel — billing overcharge

      i ve been airtel user for last 4 years and actually received my latest ebill overcharged with some value added services eg. downloads which i never committed and when i claim to customer care they just answer these downloads are originated from my number so i ve to pay my bill .what recourse should i have when the customer service is unable to trace any wrong doing on my number or just ignore it ?

      Airtel — Complaint against overcharging

      Hi,

      I am mailing to put my complaint to you for the phone no. [protected].

      I have been charged for Gameclub subscription on this number for last 3 to 4 months and I have never asked for this particular service.

      I talked twice to your customer care executives, recently I talked to Nirmal Prasad (customer executive) and he could not give any concrete answer instead he told me that portal is down and he is not able to extract any information, eventually he disconnected the call. (Service Request number: [protected])

      I do not expect such bad service from the so called best telecom company of India.

      Look in to the issue and refund all the amount that you have charged for this service.

      Failing to refund the money, I would drag the company into the consumer court and TRAI.

      If airtel resolved the issue than still awaiting for for revised bill . one more thing recently i have received mail from airtel and response was till 2nd july my plan was active [protected]@ 3GB(3072MB) and i have used 2943 MB according to your bill than how you can revised my bill plan . and i will forward that mail to airtel.[protected]@in.airtel.com . and your people was agreed that there was mistake in bill from airtel site on telephonic conversation .

      i have used 2943 MB against 3072 MB till 2nd july .


      i don't want to hold your payment but airtel forcing to hold the payment because of no response or useless response...i request to you pl provide me fresh bill according to above criteria.

      even though airtel people was agreed there was mistake in bill by airtel. you want settle in court than i will be there. if you not than i will lodge case of harassment . i have all the mail and sms which is clearing showing of airtel mistake . i am not coward ..understand rest upto you.
      Yet not resolved.
      who is resolved the issue ? till date airtel haven't respond to my mail . airtel service worst because as you can see that airtel people told me send a mail airtel.[protected]@121.airtel.com but no body is looking to respond . on what base my complaint has been closed ? i want to know the answer ..

        I paid advance of Rs. 999/- for airtel broadband connection. My Customer Enrollment Form has TBLR CEF No. 498112.
        I had been in constant touch with the airtel customer care for last 1 year but to no use.

        I have the following request on the dates mentioned.

        Second Request Number: 21474798 (06/Sept/12)
        New complaint number regarding sales and marketing: 23235506 (11/Oct/2012)

        Even tried writing to there nodal office but to no use. Did not get any response from them either.

        Everytime they give me a new request number and tell me, we will get back to you in 2-3 working days. Sometimes they even told me that I will be given refund in 21 working days.

        Please take stringent action against them so that no other person gets treated in this same way.
        Also please help me get my refund amount back.

        Airtel Broadband — Connection not given

        I have applied for a broadband connection on August 8th and have been told that connection will be given on 10 th August. But it did not happen . The person who booked the connection is Rajesh and his no is [protected].My application no is SEFno CH 810830
        I tried contacting him he is not picking the phone.Today only once he answered and said he will reply back within 15 minutes and but did not reply. This is the worst attitude and service.Then they said they have no DSL ports available it will be done in a day .On Aug 12th they said they have received it and the connection will be given in 5 hour. But on Aug 13 they are saying the port received is for other exchange.Poor service and misleading information.Its a week and i am not been given connection.The nodal office also sents mail like it will be addressed at the earliest. I thinh Airtel ofiicers should be taught themeaning of earliest. Dont go for airtel connection

        I had applied connection through an agent Mr. Rathi Dated On 5th november 2009. I am a resident of Mangalam appartment, Module-8, Abhaykhand - III, Indirapuram Ghaziabad. Till now I have not get the connection. No one is giving any kind of correct responses that when it will be processed. The reporting officer of Mr. Rathi is even not picking up the phone. what i do for them.
        I have applied for a broadband connection on Nov 8th and i gave the amt 2397RS (I Keep my Chain to Pawn Broker for this money)and he have been told that connection will be given on 10 th November.         I tried contacting him he is not picking the phone.One day he answered and said he will reply back within 30 minutes and but did not reply. But he is a nice fellow one day(13th NOV) rarely picked my cal and asked about the problem. He promised me that he will finish with in two days.After three days again i cal him and ask the reason . Before Collecting Money Umar used to cal me thrice a day, Now i m calling him for many times, But he is not picking my cal.If i ask for money they r telling that it will come after 20 days. I never expect this from airtel.

        I am a retailor of Airtel mobile recharge voucher. I took the retailorship on May 2007 and the distributor from cherthala given me a set of recharge vouchers as a starter pack.But one set of recharge voucher for RS.249x 5 is expired on that date and which is not informed to me at that time.After some days i recognised the problem I am contacting Airtel office at Kadavatra,Ernakulam but they first agreed to takeup the matter and I am waiting there for morethan 1 hour after that they replied they are unable to do it.This shows Airtel company is cheating people as the same is not at used by me but they are not able atleast change the prepaid voucher.I am also make complaint to their nodal officer ,but they also hesitate to do it.

        I have applied for a new Airtel IPTV connection along with Broadband and Landline and despite paying all the charges in advance there is no line of sight to when the installation will be done.

        Its surprising to note that as a first time customer to Airtel this is the type of response the Organization gives. This is really crazy for an organization being run by someone like Mr. MIttal. There is zero customer service whatsoever.

        I wish India goes the US way on capitalism and the customers are treated better.

        Airtel Broadband — Refund not given

        Dear Sir/madam,
        We had applied for airtel broadband connection by paying Rs.1099/- vide application no: TBLR 276461 dated 21.08.11 and promised a connection within 5 days.

        Airtel failed to give connection citing technical cable problems and hence i lodged complaint with airtel asking for refund..( complaint no:3160876) .The call center person attending the phone assured that i would get a refund within 15 days..

        Since i did not get back the refund,i have called airtel helpline twice again as a result of which they have subsequently raised two more complaints and given ref. no.s as : 3653900 and 4450870.

        No action has been taken by airtel team so far '....

            §198=121 for airtel.
            I think 198 is only complain no. for every network. But in airtel they advertise for long time . Vodafone and other is best. There is no difference in 121&198 in airtel exept 198 is free. In airtel (198) talk to an customer care exucutive is very lengthy prosses. So I request airtel to make its quality good.

              Hi,

              Around January i got a new airtel postpaid connection. They activated some 2g services without prior notice(i have sms proof of this activation) and started to bill from second month. After making several call to customer care, they are repeatably saying you activated it. My mobile is low end mobile, salora, which does not have any facility to use. I asked the proof o[censored]sing the 2G service, but they are not sending any proof. I lost the airtel mobile while travelling in a bus on march. At last i decide to pay all the amount and cancel the connection. After cancellation, i got some emails regarding cancellation. After some days an Airtel representative called me and felt sorry for whatever happens and he asked me to change to prepaid connection. Since after a long request, i change my mind to use prepaid. They not even send any representative and they are again sending the bill for this month for postpaid. I really don't want any body to take airtel connection, since i have travelled to releationship center for 4 to 5 times. i got hurt and I really not seen any worst service in any companies i used.

              i can send all proofs of email to you.

              Goverment should take necessary action against airtel for hurting customers.

              Can anybody help me to come out of airtel postpaid connection.....

                Of late I have been facing severe problems with my Airtel 4g connection no - [protected].

                It was working perfectly fine since one year until recently when my modem went offline quite often. I raised complaints and the technician visited my house who inferred that there was a problem with the network.

                Eventually after so many phone calls to the nodal office and the appellate authority they came up with a solution to waiver off 20% of my monthly bill till 3 months.

                But these kind of plans are just futile as I cannot connect to the network at all.

                Now I have placed a disconnection request and I want that this should happen asap and I shouldnt be charged for the rental because why on earth I should pay for something which I cannot even use ?

                As a customer I feel cheated by the marketing gimmicks of Airtel who only show a lackadaisicial attitide to the customer and trust me they dont honestly want to help the concerned person . They just beat round the bush and keep of repeating the same thing.

                Unfortunately I had even advised some colleagues of mine to try 4g but now I feel I made a gross mistake.

                It would be really great if you heed my concerns.

                Airtel — Marketing Gimmicks by Airtel

                I had taken this Airtel post paid connection around 5 years back. Later, due to some attractive tariff plans and good network coverage from competitor, I switched over to "Orange" (now so called Vodafone).
                As this was my first mobile connection, I thought, I would retain this number. Hence, I got this connection converted to pre paid.

                Later life time free plan was introduced and I got a refill of 999 and converted this to a Life Time Incoming Free Card.
                I still use this as a secondary SIM number.
                Airtel has one of the worst network in Mumbai. 50% of the time the Airtel number is not reachable. Vodafone would be rated as far ahead as compared to Airtel in terms of network coverage.

                Lets come to the point:
                I usually get these marketing calls from Airtel (IVR) for various add-on services. I usually receive these calls and disconnect it immediately, once I get to know if its a marketing call. There are atleast 3 such calls made in a day.
                I was earlier not aware of DNC service with Airtel (Now, I have registered on website). Also, I never thought it was that important.

                Yesterday, when I was an important meeting at my office, I got one such marketing call (IVR). I excused from the meeting and received the call, as I was expecting an urgent call. I got pissed off, when I realized that it is a marketing call. While disconnecting the call in haste, I might have pressed numeric keys, instead of call release button.

                I never realized at that point of time that a service has been activated on this number. Within minutes, I get a message that "Congratulations on subscribing to the On Demand Service. Your 30 Rs. has been deducted". I immediately de-activated the service by calling up on the number that was provided in that message.

                Now, when I called up the customer care and narrated this whole incident, I am informed that Rs.30 are non-refundable and I had opted for this service. As per my understanding the customer should be charged if he has used the service. In my case, it was de-activated within couple of minutes. Why am I being held accountable for this.

                How does AIRTEL want to increase profits:

                1) When customer pays willingly for services utilized

                OR

                2) When customer mistakenly falls target for cheap marketing practices/gimmicks.

                AirTel — Non connection

                As an Air tel customer for 6 years i decided to get my services for DH, Broad Band and Land line from Air tel. I think this was my biggest mistake.

                I called the customer care for DTH and was provided a reference number and told that they would provide me my installation and connection in 4 working days! It has been over 3 weeks and no one from Air tel seems to know what is happening! When i call customer care they advise me that they will lodge a complaint and some one will get back to me in 24-48 hours, i have lodged 4 such complaints to no avail!

                For Broad band they advised me when they collected the documents and cheque on 14th of sept that i will have the connection in 4 working days! Again that sounded familiar but i decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. i have been calling them for the last 4 days and they have the same excuse our systems are down and we cant check anything so please call back! Is that my issue of Airtel's?? Today to my surprise the cheque has been presented and cleared from my account and when i had called them they said they have been trying to contact me for the last week and cant get through to my number...odd cause the entire world can contact me on (ironically my Air tel number) my number and that they will call me back to have the connection. The installation guys ask me to contact Sales rep or customer service, Sales rep asks me to contact installation or customer service, Customer service say their system is down and cant do anything so i have to call back? PATHETIC SERVICE. I managed to speak to the escalations team Shahsi who said that she will have this looked into and i will be contacted in 24-48 hours (Sound familiar again?)

                CAN SOMEONE AT AIR TEL WITH HALF THE COMPETENCY (AND A WORKING SYSTEM) SORT THIS OUT???? HOW MAY OTHERS SUFFER WITH SHODDY SERVICE???

                  AirTel — forcefully deduction of amount

                  While talking by my Mobile, sudden one call came from Airtel and interrupted my conversation.

                  After that, one message came that you ahve been charged Rs. 30/- for Hello tunnes and another message came that you have been charged Rs. 15/-. Both the amount deducted from my Mobile balance (Prepaid).

                  I do not understand why Airtel Service Provider is harrassing me. Previously, I did not face any problem. Now, they are in practice in earning money by this method.

                  IT IS DAY TIME ROBBERY.

                  It may hamper reputation of Company.

                  I request top Management of Airtel Company to issue instruction to all their Service Provider not to play such type of game to earn money.

                        2. Technician will come and charge this and that - paid more on technical issue resolutions/re-installations than for subscription charges
                        3. Customer care - not at all helpful, choose option English and they will start talking in some other language, rather than understanding customer problem and giving quick resolution they are trained more on giving excuses, this is company rule and policy
                        4. Airtel will keep sending you irritating repeated SMSs for subscription renewal

                          I think 198 is only complain no. for every network. But in airtel they advertise for long time . Vodafone and other is best. There is no difference in 121&198 in airtel exept 198 is free. In airtel (198) talk to an customer care exucutive is very lengthy prosses. So I request airtel to make its quality good.

                            I recharged Airtel 2g internet pack of Rs. 22 on 18th July,2013 from kolkata circle. According to their website the benefit was 150 MB facebook usage+50 MB other usage. But after recharging online through their primary website, I found that only 5 MB other data was given. When inquired at customer care centre they were not cooperative at all. They tried to bypass their fault and told that they have changed their plan ( their primary website still showing 50 MBas on 21st july,2013) with effective to various dates. Clearly they were just trying to make a foll of the customer. Someone explained that I have already used 50 MB,but when i told that I didn't, someone suggested that plan has been changed internally. How they can change an existing plan without showing it to their main website?? I mean when a customer is recharging online he sees what is package rate from their website and then they recharge it. After recharging he comes to know that he will get reduced benefit as the plan has changed without mentioning anything during recharging. Its straightforward cheating. Its like you ordered and paid for 50 kg rice but when they delivered, they delivered only 5 kg stating that their ate has changed. How can this happen?? I am registering this complain to resolve the issue and help similar customers like me who has been cheated by the company.

                            Airtel India — Cheating

                            I have never subscribed for Background Music. Airtel takes the liberty to deduct money from my pre-paid card. It is impossible to talk to their customer service executive at 121. There is no e-mail address to file a grievence on their Website. The "contact" again advises to call 121.

                            Often, I get the feeling that the Airtel cheats, especially in the UP(east) circle.
                            This is in reference to your launched scheme of offering Free VAS card worth Rs 500 to all your customers which enables them to download free multimedia contents worth the same amount from your Airtel Live VAS Card Zone up to 31ST DEC 2008.

                            I too received 4 VAS card for Rs. 2000/- from your side in Airtel Marrathon Race . I logged in the Airtel Live VAS zone on 27/12/08 using the card to download some contents on my mobile phone but all Airtel Live Service is working properly but only Vas zone folder is not showing in Air tel live. After getting a lot complaints, i have not received any reply from your side.

                            Finally I had to call up Airtel Technical Support helpline, as I was not entertained by the normal customer care executive. But Every times they said that some problem is coming in Vas zone link. So after 48 hours it will be ok. I am listening 48 hours from 3 days but i dont know when this 48 hours will be finish.
                            I registered my complaint (No.[protected] and was told to wait for 48Hrs to get my problem solved and get my content on my mobile phone.

                            This whole scheme of Airtel for making new customers is just to making a fool of it’s present customers.

                            SPECIALY I PURCHASE ONE NEW PREPAID CONNECTION ONLY FOR DOWNLOADING BUT REALLY I am now completely frustrated with such a poor customer support service and the useless promotional scheme. I want you to take the above matter seriously and send a written reply on how my problem will be solved.

                            Since four five days back, I have complained to the air tel contact by phone call regarding the deduction of INR 99.00 from my prepaid airtel account saying that I had down loaded Java script games by using airtelive. I told them that I had not down loaded any sort of games since the use of air tel SIM. They told me that I would be refunded UNR 99.00 by 27th of this month. Today is 28.4.09, but no amount is credited in my prepaid airtel account. When I contacted today by phone, somebody from the airtel contact office told me that I had down loaded games. It is todtally the mistakes of the airtel technical system. Now, how I should recover my INR 99.00. It will cost airtel company too much loss if they do not pay my money back.

                            I am using mobile office on my Phone and after i activated hello tunes on my phone number i started receiving multiple sms's stating that i have downloaded java game, wallpaper ,ringtone and what now , so much that i received around 115 messages in a night (10pm - 8am) which costed to a tune of 2500 RS!!
                            I have been paying the bills reguraly but this was a major turn off !! I dont use their "no goo" airtel live service apart for the hello tune . I have been connecting my phone to the pc for browing purposes only? Is this what i get for paying my bills on time and being an airtel custome for 2 years! really pathetic!

My plan is 49 paise for all mobiles. I recharged RC 62 they changed my plan everything with out any information. I want to get back my plan i can't get back my 62 Rs.

                            I have got GPRS activated on my mobile but it never shows any signal. First of all calls to customer care chargable and whenever I call the customer care service they make me hold for long time otherwise they waste a lot of time talking irrelevent things just to charge us more. They also charge us for the time the phone is busy not connected to the customer care. I am facing this problem every time i give a call. They have asked me to call end number of times till now and still have not solved my problem. I have spent my entire recharge of Rs 295 calling them. They also charge me anything they want for my calls. I am really frustrated with these people and strongly feel that some action must be taken against them.

                            I wish to bring to the notice of the higher authorities of Air Tel that my innumerable mails and telephonic complaints have all gone in vain and the corrupt and incompetent technical department of Air Tel has not resolved the issue which is pending for the last 20 days or so. Today while calling the customer care (Tel No.[protected], I was connected to some senior official Mr. Fazal of Air Tel without any concrete results, his usual reply was that the complaint had been escalated. He was more interested in persuading me to get the connection cancelled rather than providing the resolution. The company has been cheating me since the past one month. According to the plan I opted the browsing speed should be 2Mbps, however I am getting around 800 kbps as vividly shown by me to a cheat and liar engineer Mr. jitendra, who wrongly updated at your end that the speed was OK and I was satisfied.
                            I wish to mention that I badly need internet but not at the cost of getting cheated by air tel. I ask the higher authorities of this sick company if they are interested to give me the internet facilities.

                              My connection keeps dropping and at times if it works its really slow. Past one week its happening like this. I have this service from June 2008.                               I have a quick question, that is it the same Airtel who provides the best services to their users ? I had this belive in my mind but it is getting fade now.

                              I am having many Problems with the broadband connection.
                              Recently(In the month of May 2009), My connection was disconnected due to some payment issue, Then One Airtel person (Named as Manoj) called me and ask me to clear the bills,
                              He ask me to pay Rs1290.00/- to clear all the dues till June 04, 2009, so I paid the same for continuation of my broadband connection (receipt no:[protected], My connection also started at same day as well.

                              But after 4-5 days it got down again... then I called at customercare on June 11 (comunication ID :[protected], for this one guy came to me to resolve the issue but he was not sure that what is the problem, and he told me that some other guy(someone his senior) will come to solve this issue, after that No One come to me, and my broadband is still dead.

                              Now after that I recieved one call from Airtel, one guy ( didn't remember name) ask me to submit 2000/- rupees to clear my dues, then I told him the actual situation, he assord me to make all things fine, but nothing was changed.

                              After all of this, Again today I got a call from Airtel guy (named as Rahul), and he was asking the same(to clear all my dues), but I denied to pay anything (As I didnt use Airtel services for whole the month), but he was not ready to hear me or not trying to understand actual situation, and asking me to pay 2000/- then 500/- atlast 250/- but I denied( because I was not sure that how long my services can be good going with this payment).

                              His way of talking was not a decent one, I asked him to provide me the Communication ID of our talk, but he didn't gave me.


                              Someone please advise me, what I need to do.

                              Airtel Broadband — Slow Broadband Speed

                              Hi,
                              I have my Broadband connection with Airtel. This is a 1MBps Unlimited Connection. This connection was working fine since last 3 years. However, on 7 Feb the connection speed is reduced to its half, i.e. 512 KBps. I checked with Airtel Branch Office, and they told me that since i have reached me monthly limit of 100 GB, hence my speed is reduced to half. Now, I do not understand why there is a limited download on an unlimited connection. I'm paying for 1 MBps and only getting 512 KBps. The Airtel branch office said that they have implemented a new Fair User Policy due to which my speed is reduced.
                              They have denied to help me in any ways, and asked me to wait for next billing cycle so that the speed can be restored. Moreover, if I reach a download of 100GB then the speed will be reduced back to 512.

                              Please suggest what should I do!!

                                One call centre executive has been calling me regularly about the non- payment of a bill of no [protected] - that does not even belong to me. I had resigned from my previous company and this no. Probably belonged to some employee of my previous company. On a goodwill I told the executives that I will ask the HR of the previous company to resolve the issue. Now this girl from Airtel calls me 20 times a day, from past 5 days asking me to pay the bill. She calls me from this number [protected] from Chandigarh.

                                Not only this she uses abusive language a d misbehaves while asking me to pay the bills. Is this what is taught to your executives to use as much abusive language as possible and call up anybody asking them to pay the bills of any number??????????

My bill for the number [protected] was due since sometime, since I was out of the country, which has been paid now. However, I and my relatives are constantly getting threatning calls from the customer service department even now. They use foul language and abuse us.                                   I have been using airtel broadband ( airtel number[protected] from past 8 years and in past 2 months Airtel has completely lost my confidence in giving me any good experience and scamming me in daylight.

                                  Note - I have 8mbps FUP 80gb that is 8000 divided by 8 = 1000kbps download speed.

                                  I ask the technician im getting exact 350kbps download speed in torrent it should be 1000kbps they argue with me that my computer has virus, the " website " is slow they just keep giving excuses the speed has been hampered by airtel all torrents download at same exact speed 350kbps.

                                  June - Complaint number[protected] The modem was not working from june 16th, filed a complaint on same day,they took 6 days to fix it.The technician says he knew it was the modem adapter charged me 250rs for it when it says MRP - 120rs, Constant Modem disconnection even after giving complaint prior to june close to 8 times nothing has been done other than modem firmware update which made it even more worse i get disconnected more than 5 times in 7 - 8 minutes.



                                  July first week - I give a complaint for modem disconnection again they took 1 week to respond to the complaint the technician says he will come at 9am and does not turn up then next day he says he will come at 1pm and comes at 3pm says he fixed it he leaves and the disconnect continues.

                                  To add to the disconnection more problems -

                                  July - I have apparently gone above the Limit of 80gb i have no problem with that, but why sell the connection saying its unlimited now im just left to use facebook as the speed reduces from 8mbps to 512kbps ( 8000 kbps to 512kbps ).I'm having such a difficult time to download a 20mb file to edit for my client it takes me 70min to download a 20mb file this is clearly not 512kbps ( 512kbps divided by 8 = 64kbps), i have had 512kbps before i know the difference o[censored]sing internet why is the FUP Speed 8mbps to 512kbps? a 50% FUP or 60% is understandably who gives airtel rights to slash 8mbps 1000kbps download speed to 512kbps and to make it worse the disconnection continues and redirects any link i open it takes close to 3min to open a website gets disconnected and then redirects that page to airtel smartbytes. im losing my time and patience here.

                                  I have enrolled for online classes and im a web development freelancer i have to upload to my clients server or download files to fix the codes, this has severely hit me psychologically Paying 1,700rs for harassment and scams in 2months and not getting anything by it im left waiting to download 2gb class videos taking 6hours hence i can not watch the classes live.

                                  I have had it with Airtel Broadband either provide me with a connection without FUP or contact me to remove the connection.

                                  I can see BBNL providing 10mbps without FUP how are they doing it and airtel scaming.

                                  Bharti Airtel — Exorbitant bills

                                  Dear Sir/ Madam,

                                  Bharti Airtel Billing mobile Card No.[protected], which I never used though I purchased it, Bharti Airtel sent me bill of Rs.1225/-.

                                  I said I want to disconnect it after making this final payment.

                                  They accordingly deducted the 300/- deposit from the said 1225/- and asked me to pay Rs.922/-

                                  Accordingly I gave them a Cheque bearing No.492154 of Rs.922/- which was debited from my ICICI Bank account on 11.08.2011

                                  Now on they have generated bill on 12.08.2011 of Rs.440/- even after settling the issues how Bharti Airtel can send this bill when they have returned me my deposit?

                                  They are calling me again and again for the payment. please do the needful.
