[Resolved]  Bharti Airtel Mobile — Wrong charges in bill for the month of July on number [protected]

Hello,

I am availing the mobile bill facility from Bharti Airtel with the mobile number [protected], and have been charged a wrong amount of gprs usage on 2G while i have already taken Rs. 199 per month unlimited pack. also i have never requested to activate 3G on my mobile.

Airtel people are making wrong charges of Total amount after discount: Rs.634.73/- on 2G services

All the amount should be discounted since i have been using unlimited plan and i have checked my itemized bill also in which i can see that i have not used internet before activation the GPRS Plan.

Therefore the 2G charges after discount @ Rs. 634.37/- are totally wrong.
Please clarify why should i pay GPRS usage while i have been using 199 GPRS plan since[protected].

3G Usge:
Total Usage on bill dated[protected]: 602750 KB
Amount: Rs. 1808.25/-
Discount given: Rs.1442.98/-
Total amount after discount: Rs.365.27/

My question is, while i have never requested to activate 3G pack on my number then why you have activated 3G chargeable plan without requesting from customer end. I was never aware of my 3G paid plan activation. I continuously used my GPRS plan keeping in the mind that i have already activated 2G plan on 199 per month and if i use GPRS then i would not have been charged for any GPRS service.

You can check into your system about my request for 3G activation. I have never requested to activate.

By above activation, It seems that Airtel network any time can activate any service without any pre or post activation intimation.

I am totally dissatisfied and mentally upset for your false charges on my airtel mobile.

This is totally harassment of customer.

Airtel is still denying the wrong charges while they have charged......

Airtel - mobile — Billing and wrong charges

Iam using airtel postpaid connection. From Dec to Jan bill they have given sent a Fraud bill.
This network is having GPRS service, For activation of this service we have to give one message, it will be activated with in 3hrs. But it didn't get activated upto 8 or 9 hrs , so i sent cacellation request , but it not updated in thier server and they charged for 20 or more days.
Even thier billing system is Fraud and illegal to India Tax concern.

POSTPAID MOBILE — invoice

I am not getting time tp time invoice phisically at my place.Your are requested to send it in time now onwards as to keep track record for my balance with you.
Also forward at once invoice copy by an email to my new email id

Airtel Mobile Services — WRONG BILL

AIRTEL MOBILE SERVICE IS THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE SEEN IN MY LIFE. THE CUSTOMER CARE PEOPLE DO NOT RESPOND WELL WHENEVER YOU ARE NEED.
IN MY CASE, GPRS SERVICE WAS ACTIVE ONLY FOR 5 DAYS . ON 6TH DAY I SENT REQUEST DEACTIVATION OF GPRS. I HAVE BEEN TOLD BY THE CUSTOMER CARE THAT YOU WILL BE CHARGED ONLY FOR THE DAYS O[censored]SAGE. AND THE SAME DAY I RECEIVED THE DEACTIVTION MESSAGE.
BUT I SURPRISED, MY BILL WAS SHOWING 399RS. CHARGE .
I CALLED UP CUSTOMER CARE AND ASKED FOR THE SAME. THE REPLY WAS AIRTEL WILL ADJUST IN THE NEXT MONTH. WHEN CONTACTED ONCE AGAIN TO CUSTOMER CARE, REPLY WAS OUR SYSTEM IS NOT OK, CALL ADTER 2 HR. I CALLED 2 HR. LATER, REPLY WAS MY GPRS IS STILL ACTIVE AND WILL NOW BE DEACIVATED.
(AIRTEL IS THE ONLY RESPONSIBEL FOR NOT FOLLOWING THE DEACTIVATION SMS THEY SENT ME.) I AGAIN SENT DEACTIVTION SMS AND RECEIVED SMS SAYING THAT YOUR GPRS IS ALREADY DEACTIVE. I CALLED UP AGAIN TO CUSTMOER CARE AND TOLE THEM THAT I WILL NOT PAY UNLESS YOU CIRRECT MY NEXT BILL FOR THIS MISMATCH. AIRTEL AGREED TO MAKE ADJUSTMENT. BUT AGAING I RECEIVED THE BILL WITH GPES CHARGES OF 399. THUS THSI TIME I HAVE BEEN CHARGED FOR 399 + 399 = 898 RS. GPRS. BILL. AFTER CONTACTING AGAING THE REPLY WAS AIRTEL WILL ADJUST IN NEXT BILL. SAME STORY REPEATINF FROM LAST THRESS MONTHE. AND FINALLY THIS MONTH I GOT TOTAL GPES CHARGES 399 +399 +226.1 = AFRAID OF SUMMING UP.
TODAY WHEN AIRTEL CALLED ME AGAING I REUESTED ABOUT MY GPRS CHARGES. THE REPLY WAS SO ARROGANT BY A LADY EXECUTIVE THAT ANY BODY WOULD HAVE THOUGHT OF SLAPPING HER STAIGHT FORWARD.

Airtel India - GPRS — Wrong charges of GPRS actication.

Airtel Mobile no. [protected]

I have activated GRPS for a day by sending SMS GRPSACT TO 222(Chagres Rs.25 for a day), They

have activated this service within 10 min, After sometime my GPRS service automatically

deactivated.. when i enquire about the balance i shoked that i have just 2.18 balnace in my

account.(Initially balnace was 52.58).

I have spoken to customercare executive for this issue. They have accepted this mistake from

there side. they have added Rs.25 to my account.(Reason give by customercare executive -

wrongly debited twise).

At end of our call they have given assurance u can used this serive for till next 24 hrs.

after 30 mins i again GRPS deactivated automactically.

when i enquire about the balance again, i shoked that i have just 0.18 balnace in my account

Again i have spoken to customercare executive for this issue. They have given feedback that they have deducted balance for GRPS Service usage for last two days.

I have not use this service for last two days. They have wrongly debited by account.

Dear Sir,
My mobile number is. [protected]. Airtel mobile charges me Rs.15/- as downloading charges 5 to 6 times a month in my bill. I reqested every time that please deactiviate this type of services & reverse the charges. But yet they had not taken any action.

I am Rakesh Salunke, I am using Airtel mobile Post Paid connection No [protected]. I am using this connection from last 1 year. I found that in the bill details of Nov to December. I have been charge Rs. 748 for VAS services however I have not activated any VAS service on my mobile by any mean.
I have already informed aritel cust care and Nodal officer about this and as per them these are correct bill. Could you please help to get this stuff.

Airtel Postpaid — Wrong GPRS charge

Hello,

I have been charged wrongly for the GPRS connection activated on my postpaid plan. I raised a complaint but they were Not willing to accept that it was charged wrong. Meanwhile I went abroad and didnt receive any physical document for final bill so I couldn't make any payment. Now I received a email saying a count case is filed against me and I need to appear in the Bnagalore court which is Not at all possible.
Please help how to resolve this. My postpaid connection was [protected] with Airtel.

Airtel Mobile — Calls charged wrongly

I am subscriber of the above mobile No. [protected] with a plan having local call charges @ Re.0.50/minute. However, in the last bill dated 9.04.2010 received by me, the following calls have been charged to me as local calls @ Rs.6/minute:-

1. I have never subscribed to the service of 56789 which has been charged @Rs 6/minute, as against local call charge of Re.0.50/minute as per the subscribed plan.

2. In case the charge is higher for any service than the charges advised to me, my express consent should have been taken before allowing such service on my mobile, which has not been done.

3. From the details of calls mentioned above, it is found that the gap between the calls is much less than the duration for which calls have been charged. For example, the gap between the first and the second call is 0:42:36 (17:01:43 minus 16:19:07) whereas call is charged for 60 minutes. Similarly the gap between the second call and the third one is 0:37:37 which is also charged for 60 minutes.

4. I have not made these calls. I am sure these calls have been wrongly charged to my mobile. I am using this mobile for a year and not once I have called the said number during this period. It is inconceivable of me to make calls to such numbers during office hours of working day and that too for such a long duration as stated in the bill.

5. On taking up the matter with Airtel I was given the same response again and again that the calls are correctly charged as per their record, inspite of of my raising the issue repeatedly by phone as well as emails addressed to various authorities of Airtel. Lastly, today I have been told by their Appellate Authority that they had verified the calls and found the same as correctly charged. And further that it was the best they could do in the matter.

In view of the above, I most humbly approach your good offices to seek redressal of my complaint, so that injustice done to me is undone and the service provider is prevented from fleecing the customers in the name of premium service at exorbitant rates of charges without their knowledge and consent.

Airtel Postpaid — Wrong charges

Respected Sir,

My Airtel Mobile no is [protected].This number was on my mother's name.I work with HCL Technologies and I got an offer from my company to change my no to corporate account.
As there were very good and cheaper services were offered with this corporate accnt,I applied to get this number converted from my mother's name to my name with a corporate plan on it.
They asked me to clear the whole outstanding and unbilled usage before transferring the ordinory no. to the coroprate accnt.They said that its not possible to transfer the accnt when there is an outstanding on it.So I cleared all the outstanding and Unbilled usage on my previuos accnt.

After clearing the whole bill they changed my no to the corporate accnt.But now they have sent a bill in which they are asking me to clear the same Rs635 to pay and saying that this amount was left in my last account.I talked to them they have refused to remove the charges.And I aksed for all the billing payment detaisl for my previous accnt.They said the accnt has been closed so no details avlbl.

I have bought a mobile connection from the vendor of airtel who came to our office.he insited me to buy a connection from him, while purchasing this mobile connection I made him clear that i am already having two telephone sets on my seat and another mobile connection of BSNL and I asked him not to activate the connection as I will have to purchase a new double sim mobile for using this mobile connection. after purchase of ne mobile I will contact you for activation. I couldnot purchase the new mobile due to which I could not use the mobile connection till date but the agent has activated my connection without giving me any information. Airtel/ mobile service — Charged with wrong bill

Dear Concerned,

I am using my Airtel Mobile number ([protected]) from last 8 yrs & never faced any problem but last to last month i received a call to activate my GPRS service which earlier i was not using & they activated this next day itself but immediately within 10 days i realized that this service is no use for me & asked them to stop this service but they said it can be done after your bill will generate. When i received my bill the charges for GPRS was whopping 6000 Rs & that really given me shock because my bill use to be around 1500 Rs per month at the time of taking this service they said in 799 rs you can use unlimited GPRS in a month then how can they charge me with this amount & now they are threating me to discontinue my service because they know that i cant change my number.

This was the whole case & I have written several time to them but all went in vain, Now i m left with no hope from these people.
Request you to kindly intervene in this matter & give me a solution.

Airtel — Wrong charges for GPRS internet

I had activated a 1 gb free GPRS plan, but I have been charged Rs. 872 for Airtel GPRS even though the plan has been activated. The Customer support refuses to give a waiver for the amount of the GPRS, even though I am a subscriber of Airtel GPRS for more than 5 months.

Without any information the company (Airtel) started the valua added services any deduct the balance, within 8 days they deduct balance & after doing complain they are not giving any complain number.So plz make sure that in future this will not be happen or other wise i have to switch over to other company.
