I have purchased Moto G4 plus in Aug 2016. The rear camera was not working due to substandard quality of Camera lens cover, due to this, the pictures/ images were not clear/blurr images and no physical damage. There is no use of 16 Mp rear camera without providing a good, durable quality lens cover. The Mysore service centre-Samuruddhi Infocom-047, demanded money to replace the spare part during warranty period. Several calls and e-mails to Moto Customer care centre has not yielded any result.
Since it is due to the substandard quality of glass/manufacturing defect, it is the moral responsibility of the company to replace the spare part free of cost.
Like others I also regret buying MotoG4 plus, I request all the new customers not to buy this product due to poor aftersales service and, charging for spare parts during warranty period.Company is doing unfair trade practices by fixing substandard quality spare part and charging huge sum of money to replace them under warranty.
If at all Motorola wants to retain customers, please replace spare parts free of cost under warranty. I hope the complaint will be resolved by Moto company instead by a court. Looking forward to Motorola's reply,
