I have booked an inter-city packers and movers service from NoBroker on March 9, 2022. I have rescheduled my movement date to March 19, 2022 and the reschedule was done on March 12, 2022. The movement manager assigned to me at that time confirmed my requirement. As no vendor was assigned till March 17th, I reached out to the movement manager over the chat option as she was not attending calls. As there was no response, I reached out over call again on 18th only to be informed that my movement manager is out sick and no alternate movement manager was assigned. On further enquiry, someone claimed to be my new movement manager and told that the movement on 19th March is not possible as no vendor was available for the mentioned movement date. As I showed my disappointment, he asked me to hold and later said that he will check further can give me a call back, which of course never happened. I again called back after few hours to check the status only to get the update that the movement on 19th is not possible and they can arrange only on 20th and I was also informed that they are glad to cancel the booking and provide me the refund right away.
My concerns now:
1. I was promised a hassle free movement experience, wherein I ended up calling NoBroker multiple time to know the status of my movement booking.
2. I planned all my other aspects based on the movement date I booked with NoBroker and no one from NoBroker bothered to update me that no vendor is available on that data, I got to know only a day before when I myself called them.
3. I have already made plans and booked my journey tickets for 19th, which I have no other option to cancel and rebook, problem now is that I will lose money for cancellation and no tickets available for 20th March ( New movement date)
4. Customer support at NoBroker is pathetic and they are very laid back and not able to understand the issue that I am facing.
Now no one is compensating for my loss which is caused due to the mistake done by the NoBroker. They shouldn't have the booking when vendor is not available or at the least, they should have informed me about vendor unavailability after I have booked the slot. They did not even bother to check until I call and enquire.
