Yesterday i booked a share cab from hadapsar, pune at start of magarpatta road, it hub. I have purchased a ola pass for 15km where charge should be 149/-, balance at normal rate. This was first time i was trying this utility. I was told pass not required, as lower fare billed. My travel length on map showed 22km. Ideally it would have been 149+ (7*6=42)+ taxes+ estimated time charges. The invoice was for 390/-. Immediately within 2 minutes, driver got second pickup 2km further back from my location, going 5km less than me, i. E. Travel length 17km. He was charged 190/-. What kind of pricing is this. Illogical, looting, totally skewed. Assuming driver doesn't not get any ride, initial estimate is ok, but at end of ride when he has picked up and dropped for more people the estimate should have reduced, or all should have been charged at same rates. I paid more, spent more time on the road. It's like they charged me to give them a ride. Driver was paid 390+190+135+100=815/-. He claims that he got only 150/- rest was taken by company. Looters. Bad hr policies. Bad mrtp practices. Bad rto practices. They are breaking so many rules and laws.
I called up customer care twice. First of all they are very personal in their address. No mr. Miss. Sir, madam. Direct first name. Then after explaining same thing thrice to first level, he repeated same rubbish, company policy etc. When i asked for next level, it was like i was asking for higher level of rudeness.
I hope there's some sane mangement level person who will answer me here. Not quietly without resolution, tag this complaint as resolved like other complaints.
