With great anguish and pain I'm writing seeking immediate cancelation of Ola cab license for the cab number given below.

As we landed at Vizag Airport, we booked Ola cab and the first driver accepted and later canceled the ride. We later again tried for another ride and this time the driver accepted the ride, came to us where we were standing and asked the address.He then asked us to walk with him till the cab which was parked at the end of the road about 200 meters away. As we were walking and reached halfway, the driver asked us what's showing up as fare amount to which we replied between 430 to 490 rupees. He immedialy stopped and said its 12 in the night and will not be able to take us for that amount and demanded another 200 extra. We then said he accepted the ride and will have to drop us for the price showing on the portal and that he cannot ask for 200 more. He said he cannot do business with what shows on the app and that if we don't agree, he will cancel the ride and ensure we don't get any other cab. We asked him how can he talk and behave like this to which he says since there is a woman n a kid, it's good that we accept else we will suffer in the night. He also said this how he will charge no matter what shows up on the portal andthat he won't change his rules for the sake of Ola. We stopped talking to him and went looking for another cab and as we were about to get in, he came to our driver and asked him not to take our ride and then he called about 20 drivers and said this is a union and we will see who will drop you. He kept saying I will see what Ola can do to me even if you raise a complaint and started abusing the woman. This is simply not acceptable especially when kids and woman are there and people like this person are dangerous too and with vizag attracting a lot of tourists, it will level quite a had remark on the city and people around. I urge you to please cancel his Ola license as the credibility of your organization also at stake.

    I had booked a ride on july 29th friday which cost rs 672 . I paid my bill through cash directly to the ola driver V.Nagarajan . And now I'm getting whatsapp messages to pay rs 822 using postpaid . I had not choosen any postpaid option for my ride . And im getting irrelevant messages like " legal notice, clear your ola postpaid dues pending for more than 30 days to avoid further action please make the payment " . and I'm sharing the number from whom I'm getting the msgs below

      My payment transactions for Ola Postpaid kept failing at your end. I raised complaints over email trying to get this fixed. After 2 replies, you stopped replying altogether. Even after making payments, INR 48 continued being due and then INR 0.01

      I have tried CONTACTing you multiple times with no response from your CUSTOMER service. (Wrote to [protected]@olamoney) And then you complaint against me to crif bureau??!!! My crif score is all messed up because INR 0.01 shows due.

      I NEED YOU TO FIX THIS!!! I am not taking the fall for your ### response system. And I'm never using ola services again if this doesn't get fixed!!!

        Regarding ticket number [protected] I was assured that my cancelation fees will be waived off, as I had genuine reason to cancel the ride, and I will get a coupon of Rs. 50 which I have paid extra. But I never got the coupon. I was also assured that I will get an email at saha.[protected]@gmail.com which I never got. The ticket was closed.
        I raised another ticket no[protected] on the same issue but that too is closed falsely claiming that I have availed maximum waivers none of which I ever got.
        Please call or email me regarding this deficiency of service and refund me the promised amount via coupon at the earliest. My email is saha.[protected]@gmail.com and my mobile numbers are [protected] and [protected].

          Dear Sir
          I traveled from New Delhi Airport to Gurgaon Sec 23, on August 21, 2022 (OLA CRN No [protected]). I transferred the payment to the Paytm wallet in the Payment section of the OLA App but it didn't show the balance till the end of the journey and I thought the payment failed so I paid the driver of Rs 647/- on the driver's mobile number thru PhonePe. Later, an amount of Rs 647/- was deducted from the Paytm wallet also from OLA App.
          It means I ended up making the payment twice for the journey fare of Rs 647/-.
          (I enclose the receipt of payment made to the Driver directly.)
          I complained to OLA Customer service a number of times but every time they raise a service request and disabled it in the next 1 or 2 days. The matter didn't resolve so I made the complaint to this forum. Please resolve it by asking OLA company (ANI Technologies) to make a refund of Rs 647/- and also compensation for mental harassment for a long time.

            Dear Ola

            Being a frequent rider, I have raised 2 concerns with the support app & have not gotten any resolution on those yet.
            Its impossible to reach through your call center nos & raising complaints on app, hardly get resolved.

            Hope this time my concerns are addressed.

            Hence requesting you to revert on the status of the complaints

            1. CRN No- [protected]- This trip was cancelled by the driver as he charged me Rs 2000 than the estimated fare in Coimbatore . He’s extremely ill mannered & abusive . I want an action against him along with this refund as it’s not my fault.
            2. CRN No – [protected]- My estimated fare was 71 & the bill came to Rs 154 . This is not accepted as I had no pending bills.

            Got no reply from ola

              Hello,
              I am using OLA app for cabs booking,
              Yesterday i booked OLA cab for Traveling NALASOPARA WEST to THANE EAST STATION to catch express train,
              I have booked OLA cab my booking detail as CRN [protected] dtd 11.9.2022
              around 8:55am,
              driver came and wait for some times, as after i put my luggage on car he tells me to cancel the ride and pay him the same amount in cash. I told him i will not pay cash, i will pay through ola app only, then he forcefully cancel the ride and time was 9.00am approx, then he cancel and tell me to take out my luggage, I told him this is wrong and he told me do whatever you want.
              I then again book a ride CRN [protected] on 9.04 am and driver came and ask me the same, please cancel the ride and pay me the amount 750/- to my phone pe., I was help less because i was running late, i have to do the ride and i completed the ride after canceling the same.

              By observing to this scenario, I totally regret to use OLA app for my ride,
              So kindly remove the charge 100 rs as waiting charges by drivers which is totally inappropriate.

              If OLA put cab drivers in their application they should take responsibility of their behavior.

              I rest my case here,

              Hope i will get justice from OLA team as early as possible.

                I took the ola cab ride on 21 st May 2022 after completion of my ride I have done payment through UPI payment method using Ola app itself. 715 Rs amount was deducted but driver said amount not reflecting in app due to some issue. So he asked me to pay by cash which I did . Ola app also showing the correct payment method as cash.

                After that I have raised multiple support tickets for refund of online payment as amount was deducted. I have provided bank transaction details to ola multiple times but they did not resolve my ticket. Many times support executive resolved my ticket directly without processing the refund or without informing . I tried to follow up on calls multiple times but call was disconnected many times from ola end and never called back.

                Its very frustating after raising 10 + tickets refund still not processed .

                Below is the CRN no of my ride when the incident happened.

                I am attaching here with screenshot of multiple support tickets where ticket was resolved after they commited to process refund .
                Also attaching screenshot to show payment mode and ride details.

                Its been 67 days my ticket is not resolved and still they are asking me to verify my bank statement rather than sharing there reference number for refund processing . Very terrible service I feel cheated

                My latest ticket still open since 12-15 days still ola support did not even care to initiate refund or resolve issue.

                Ola support is purposely not providing refund and then commenting that ticket is older than 30 days which totally a fraud. Purposely they will not respond or respond with fake refund commitment which will never happen.

                How can we escalate this fraud to higher authorities

                  I took an ola cab on 10th Aug which was abandoned midway because driver kept insisting me to take ride offline. I refused and told him to drop me midway but I had to pay in full. I raised a ticket on 11th Aug and was promised to help but so far I have not received any callbacks. It's been a month and they are still telling me same lies.

                    I took an OLA auto from South Delhi to AIIMS, delhi. I paid ₹ 105 to the auto driver in cash. But the app is still showing that it is unpaid and asking me to make another payment of ₹ 105.

                    I tried reaching ola through mail and customer care number but they didn't reply back to me.
                    Due to such bad experience, I stopped using OLA app altogether.

                      Even after getting information about the pick up and drop location drivers gives us a call and asks about the same info just to cancel the ride.
                      And the worst part is they talks in such disgusting and insulting manner that it leaves us with no option but cancelling the ride.
                      This is extremely unprofessional on the part of service providers.

                        I have a booked a ride on 9th September 2022 and the driver also reached the location for pickup.Once I get inside the cab ( CRN : [protected] ) he asked to cancel this ride in OLA app and asked me to pay a sum of ₹500 . But in OLA app the estimated fare has shown only ₹461 and the driver demanded ₹500 and asked me to cancel the ride. I said I can't do that and the driver said i can't take the trip. So I got out of the cab and cancelled my trip and booked another cab for my ride but I've recieved a message saying that ₹50 cancellation charges will be applied to your next ride. I got into the next cab and called the OLA customer support and I explained about the incident and they told that the cancellation charge of ₹50 will not be applied for this ride. But during the drop when the driver ended his trip in OLA app the bill amount is shown as ₹511 ( CRN:[protected]) and I have paid that also. But after some times when I checked in my OLA app, that particular ride was showing the amount as only ₹461 and the invoice is also for ₹461 only and again many times I called the OLA support team and they told me that they'll raise a complaint and they also confirmed me that I've been charged wrong from their side and I will get my refund but after some times I received a mail from them saying that your issue has been resolved. Once again I called them and explained and this had happened more than 5 times and every time they raise the complaint and within 5 min I recieve a mail stating that your issue has been resolved.

                          This is regarding the complaint against OLA cabs as the driver stopped the cab in between the cab and did not dropped me home he threthed me and take me the full amount of 1409.01.request you please help me to resolve this issue as I have made complaint in customer care they told me they will return my money back but I did not get any resolution yet.please request you to take necessary against OLA cab so that they did not do this thing in future.

                            Amount shown in Ola app while booking cab : Rs 865
                            Amount debited from Ola postpaid for same ride: Rs. 953
                            Amount paid via Google Pay UPI to Ola driver : Rs. 986

                            Dear Concern,
                            This is the reference against ola ride dated 2nd September from thane to Borivali. The amount was shown in ola app at the time of booking is Rs 865. The cab was successfully booked and amount 953 has been deducted from my ola postpaid after ride ends but as per driver the same was not showing as paid and he asked for payment of Rs 986 which also paid by GPay to driver's personal UPI ID.

                            I informed the Driver that Ola has received my amount paid via postpaid. However, the Driver was very stubborn to listen & demanded me to pay him in Cash on his personal Google Pay UPI ID.

                            There wass no way I can raise this concern with Ola and that is quite disappointing on how their customer assistance is operating.
                            After that I received on call from Ola saying we will refund you by NEFT/RTGS. I asked why don't you simple reverse my ola postpaid transaction as the payment for ride was already paid by Gpay.
                            The lady on call states that they having any technical issue which seems to be unresolved throughout lifetime.
                            She demanded cancelled cheque and assure me for refund.
                            Meanwhile, I am keep getting reminders to clear dues for this ride which is beyond understanding.
                            My complaint is that,
                            1. I want my postpaid transaction to get reversed.
                            2. Strict action needs to be taken on such drivers.
                            3. I will not pay my postpaid bill untill i received my refund so no late fees should be applicable as issue created by Ola and not by Me.

                            Please refer both snapshot and arrange refund and want strict action on driver as well.
                            Being an ola user since past so many years, this was worst experience.

                              On 2nd August 22, i took an ola ride ( CRN number [protected]) for which i paid cash to the driver, and now the ola is showing the payment trip as pending. I have tried complaining about the issue many times to the ola, but their customer care number is not approachable, kindly help me with this.

                                With reference to my Ticket ID:[[protected]] raised earlier, in regards to my ride with CRN [protected] on Frid, Aug 05, 05:20 PM, although I have made the payment of the ride on 11th August for the fare of Rs.1257/-. But still on my application it shows payment pending, for which I have also called and raised the request, after which the same support ticket was created, and the first reply[Sudipta Roy] shows that I might be getting refund for the same but there was no show of refund after sharing bank account details as well.

                                Although I have made the payment on 11th Aug for the same and also confirmed with my bank and they said that it was credited successfully to your account. Following are the transaction details, I request you to go through them once and have a look at your account, if the same is not reflected in your account, please let me know, so that I can go for further enquiry.

                                Sometimes the transaction takes time to reflect, requesting you to check for further few days ahead as well.

                                  On 7th Sept, My car had an accident with an ola driver driving a white maruti swift dzire with licence plate KA41C3787
                                  While it was not my fault- the driver blocked my car and did not let me leave till he extorted INR 2000 from me.

                                  I would request you to blacklist this driver immediately and if possible reimburse me for damages.

                                    Hello Authorities

                                    I am very disturbed and devastated by the experience i had with ola ride yesterday dated[protected] at 6:14pm. Driver name Kanhaiya lal. Prime sedan.

                                    I books cab for Lifestyle store sanjay palace, Agra.
                                    Right after the ride started, The driver forced me to change the location by cosmos mall constantly during the whole ride, i denied to agree and ask him to drop me on location, he was screaming on me we “hum yaha paisa banane k liye bethe hai ye gaadi apne kharida nhi hai na company ka hai” and kept yelling at me, i stayed calm and ask him to drop it at lifestyle store.
                                    The driver was rigid and threaten me by saying he will stop the cab at the location he sees in his phone, that is next to behind the mall lifestyle store is in. I was trying to ake him understand that it is showing you location from back route while the mall gate is just ahead on the way, he didn’t listen to me at all and got extremely rigid and misbehaving brutally.
                                    I denied to get of the car cause he stopped prior to the location he started screaming on me louder said i was so unable to make him understand and i was him to wait and listen to company person i an calling by… i tried to call ola customer care, and described the whole case to customer care assist on call. The assistant ask me to wait while he is calling to the the cab driver for dropping me at the location i booked for, the driver didn’t pick the call i am the witness of that, the assistant apologised me that driver is not picking up the call i was so frustrating for me, i asked him to talk with the driver through our call on my phone then the driver misleading the assistant by lying about the location is 700 mts away. While the assistant telling him i can see it is 15 mtrs away and he started misbehaving with the assistant also and started answering call to another rides. The call was disconnected by assistant too.
                                    He screamed on me to left the car, throwing attitude busy in eating tobacco and his body language was also very shady. I still kept calm over losing my temper and ask him to drop me on my location once again but he refused roughly,
                                    He asked me to left the car multiple times i felt so unsafe and treated disrespectfully constantly, he turned off the cab and ac cause i told him I won’t leave cause you supposed to drop me the location i have entered and i paid him respectfully already.

                                    Unfortunately i had to call a friend of mine in emergency to pick me up. As it was dark and commercially not so friendly area. It was very unprofessional and unsafe to anyone.

                                    I have been brief this case four time on call with your ola cc subordinate and apart from sorry i see no action taken, neither any refund process nor any compensation as apology and not any legal charge against driver.

                                    How can a sorry be enough for leaving helpless in the industry claiming providing safe and hustle free service. What if the location was not safe? What if this happened to me in unknown city, what if i couldn’t be able to get another cab? What if i had noone to pick me up ? What would be expected from a girl in such case? And waht is the responsibility of a responsible human towards the saftly if girl? I need fair and justified action on this and a valid answer for all my questions.

                                      Ola Cabs refuses to delete my sensitive private information. Marks support tickets raised as complete without completing my request or giving me a valid reason to hold my private information.

                                      Continues to disrespect my privacy and spams me with their promotional emails? Their unsubscribe button doesn't seem to work either.

                                        Hello,
                                        I am writing to you with tremendous irritation and negativity due to the unprofessional acts done by your customer service associates, Ola cab divers and the pathetic Ola application. The whole of your business as per me is a pathetic process to cheat, trouble and irritate the consumer/customers.

                                        I Manish Srivastava was a loyal customer of Ola till July 2022, since when this Ola app actually took me for a ride and is still continuing with the same till date. This fabulous ride consists of enlisted pitfalls:
                                        1. On my ride to Kirtinagar frm greater Noida, Ola app stated a payment of Rs. 122/- and the misbehaved driver after using abusive language and threatening me n my wife asked me to pay R.622/- because as per him Ola app reflected incorrect amount.
                                        2. In my next booking, which was a rental cab, without intimation the cash payment option was changed to postpaid. Further to this the driver asked me to pay Rs.1800/- in cash which was already paid online as per Ola app. But the driver denied the same and after a long debate I was compelled to pay the driver in cash. This too happened in July 2022. We tried to connect and wrote to Ola support the same hour when this transaction happened through the Ola App but did not get any response from them.
                                        3. Multiple times drivers have asked us to make payment of their Petrol/CNG charges to get it adjusted against the payment. They have even denied the services if we do not have cash and don’t entertain gpay payment as well.
                                        4. My wife’s Ola account was permanently blocked without any intimation. We tried to connect with Ola support multiple times through email but did not get any success.

                                        After all the aforesaid points, here comes the best part from Ola Support I.e. THE RECOVERY OF POSTPAID DUES
                                        - In the month of September, the Ola Customer Service/So called recovery officers connected with me for making the payment. When I placed the case, they diverted it to dispute resolution team. Since then, Ola team has asked multiple recovery officers to threaten me every hour by call and WhatsApp messages. The screenshots of some msgs are attached for your reference.
                                        - Further to this, Ms. Shalini from Ola customer care connected with me on 8th September, 2022 for a dispute resolution. When we explained her every single issue and detailed, the response from her was “I can give you a relief of Rs. 600/- but you need to make the balance payment”. As we denied to make dual payment after a long debate, she retained the same unpaid amount and disconnected the call stating the case stands unresolved.

                                        With all the facts stated above, I am clear Ola is taking the consumers on a ride with pathetic cab services, untrained and unprofessional drivers and customer support officers. They are targeting to get dual benefit from the customers who can pay.. but why should we pay twice for the same services. I’m very clear to take an action or report to consumer forum for this apprehensive behaviour of Ola.
