On 11th oct 2017, i booked a ola ride at 5.14 pm from manyata tech park, bengaluru.
The booking was confirmed and was assigned to ;
Cab number : ka13 b5968
Cab model : silver indica
Driver name : kumaraswamy
Otp : 5304
I waited for the cab for about 30 min. Although the ola-app was showing 15 minutes eta waiting time, i had wait for more than half an hour for the cab to reach my pickup location.
After the arrival of the cab, i sat inside the cab and provided my otp to the driver. And the driver said that my ride has been cancelled!
Whereas, neither i had cancelled the ride myself nor the driver has cancelled it. And also i had not received any intimation about the cancellation, neither via sms nor via the ola application.
When i checked in the ola application, i found that my current ride was missing from the list.
It started raining heavily and i did not wanted to wait for another cab again for about 30 min or more. And then i called the ola support team for help.
But the ola support team is so helpless/solution less/useless, they said that the ride was cancelled due to some issue at their ola system. And the support person asked me to book a new ride.
I explained him detailed situation and requested him to assign me to the same cab. But he did not provided any solution and simply washed off hands saying we dont take bookings over call and you have to book a new ride!
Then i asked him to connect to his superior, for which he hold my call for about 5 min and said he could not connect me.
- ola did not cared about its customer
- ola did not bothered to fix the issue which is caused by their own system
- ola did not bothered about an female security
- ola did not ensured to provide an easy, safe and hassle free ride to its customer
Hence i request consumer court to take necessary action on ola cabs and provide justice to to me and plenty of ola suffering users like me.
