He sent the following mail on 8th August to Ola customer support but the issue still not resolved.
Dear Ola,
I am a registered user with name Vivek Goswami. This is related to the incident occurred yesterday with my wife and parents during Ola trip.
Yesterday (7 August 2017) my phone was having problem. So I used ola cab service through my wife's phone. I helped her registering to OLA cab and booked a cab for outstation Delhi to Jwalamukhi (Himachal). The booking was confirmed and confirmation msg was received to my wife's mobile number. My parents kids and wife were ready for the pick up by OLA.
The pick up was scheduled to 11 am. But after many calls to driver he picked them at 1:45 p.m.
The driver car was not in condition for a long drive as one of its tyre was not fit (due very less air). He assured that he will get it done in nearby air filling point.
My family was new to OLA experience. During the journey (which never competed) the cab also stopped for CNG gas filling making it further delay to reach the destination. After few minutes one of the car tyre got exploded. The driver denied to travel further due to his car break down. My family members could not inform me due my phone was not working and also they thought not to inform me and cooperate with the driver, who took disadvantage of the first time travelling family by OLA.
Today I checked with my family then I came to know that the OLA driver arranged a separate car just within 15-20 k.m away from our pick up point in Delhi.
My family had no choice but to face this pathetic situation created by the Ola driver. They were stranded in Delhi for more than 3 hrs due car breakdown and awaiting another car arranged by request your OLA driver. My family (my old parents my kids of 4 years and 1 year and my wife) had to spend a nightmare created by your insensitive staff. Their journey which started at 1:45 pm was a compete hell. The journey was interrupted, they changed to a another car which picked them 4:30 pm at some point in Dwarka (don't know exact location).
At 11 pm they managed to cross ambala only. They were completely tired . They had to reach Destination by that time but they were at Ambala. They reached 4 am at Nangal. And they were exhausted and terrified by travelling more and ended the journey their itself and went to one relative their at Nangal (Punjab).
The journey which started at 1:45 pm on 7 aug was supposed to end at Jwalaji Himachal at 10-11 pm was ended at Nangal (Punjab) at around 04 am on 08 Aug 2017.
If you people have left little bit of humanity and i[censored] want to do something over this issue please call me on my phone number [protected] as I am your customer more than 8 months and have very often booked your services.
This was the first time that due my mobile unserviceable I had to book your service from my wife's phone. I did not know that you people and your staff is so irresponsible.
Kindly get back with a reply so that I can proceed for further action from my end.
