Hi... My name is reetu and i booked an ola cab from airoli toll to seawoods sec 44a. By mistake the driver pressed some button and the fare meter stopped, but the driver still continued to drive. However, when i was about to get down, he asked me to pay 585 rs which he didn't have a bill for, because, his fare meter stopped mid way. I still paid without a reciept. Just to add, he was constantly on his phone watsapp while driving and was a rash driver. I anyways told him that i'll complain ola the moment i get down.

Lastly i have forgotten my wallet and a box of nuts in the car. I called the driver for the same but he refused to give me my wallet back. I called up ola as well but of no help. I have the below mentioned contents in my wallet. Cash - around 2500 rs, 2 icici credit cards, 1 kotak debit card, 1 kotak credit card, axis bank credit card, citi bank credit card, 1 driving licence, multiple shopping cards.

The driver said call whoever you wanna call, i don't care... Very bad attitude. I can guarantee he has my wallet and is refusing to give it back.

I request you to look into the matter asap and figure out a solution.

The driver is purposely doing this because i told him i'll complain to ola as he was driving rash.


Highly disappointed with this... Didn't expect this from ola atleast.

    Dear sir
    This is an complaint after many experiences. I am frequent traveller of ola. Since daily i am opting ola it is easy for me to recharge ola money. Most of the drivers are cancelling the ride after confirming the ola payment mode. If it is ola money they are simply cancelling it. Today[protected], a driver cancelled by saying that i was not in location in which i was waiting at the location for more than 10minutes and they charged 25 rs as a cancellation charges. Ola group levying the penalty on driver as well as on customer. They are enjoying out of it. Cancellation charges is a big cheating. If they are crediting the amount on same day or next day the drivers will accept the customer. Again the credit is after 3 days. Customer money, ola prepaid money as well as drivers 3 days money on same account is to enjoy the interest. Ola service is good but don't cheat the customers.

        I booked a sharing cab on 27th the driver- AJAY [protected], DL1ZA- 2158,
        he said hes far off and he cant come to pick me
        i get a cancellation SMS - OSN[protected] saying that it has been cancelled as the driver couldn't serve you,
        Though it was not my fault still i was charged rs 25 extra in my next ride.

          After ola share booking was got confirmed, driver was called me up immediately and asked me where is your drop location?

          I have said him that my drop location is chinnapanahalli, after driver got to know about my drop location.

          He was immediately cancelled my ride.

          Ola support link is also not working. so i am not able to raise complaint against him. screenshot is also attached here for your reference.

          Driver Name : Sathya S --- Vehicle number : KA53A5498 (Bangalore) will definitely bring bad name to Ola service. I am 100% sure.
          Ola cab drivers are cancelling the rides by their own wishes.

          I have faced below issue on 27-July-2016

          Without coming to my pickup location. He had put waiting for customer by standing in different location and finally cancelled my ride.

          My time was wasted.

          My Humble request is : don't send such kind of drivers for pickup.

            I travel from doddanekundi. On 28th and 27th july i booked around 10 cabs daily which after 10 min 15 min driver deny duty. Says hundred reasons and asking me to cancel ride. Saying location shows wrong (Which is correct only) and making me to wait for a long time aand at last not coming. One driver started and i can see msg i am travelling where i am not.

            For karthick nagar, doddanekundi drivers denying duty. I spend lot of money in calling them wasting my time daily min 3 hours with each booking.

            Need it to be solved asap.

              I booked ola cabs on[protected] at 07:31 pm. The osn number for the ride is[protected].
              Driver didn't come at pickup location and started the trip and then stopped the trip. I was charged 101 rs. When i called him, he was giving so many excuses. Strict action should be taken against him. I have only one ques from ola cabs, why their driver started the trip before reaching pickup location and then he stopped the trip himself.

              I must be got the claim and refunded as well.

                Today in the morning booked a cab from ola, as I am a regular customer of ola cabs but this time driver was not only late moreover he was talking very rudely because of him I will be reaching my destination very late. He was not able to understand the pickup location, but actually its very precise, every time I am getting driver on time on my door step, thus driver was talking like he was drunk even . Crn no is[protected], driver name was BABU, I really appreciate if someone action is taken against him. Thanks.
                Today afte shopping with my friend, while i was returning back, i took a cab. And the cab driver and I were speaking since we were from the same place and i got down near my pg n took away just my bags and mobile and forgot totally about my wallet.. and he stood near my pg and called me but i had already reached my floor n the ppl sitting down there had no clue about me and my room number.. and he had to leave back.
                But he gave his number to call back once the ppl there get to know my room number.
                Few girls came up n dey told me dt i have lost my wallet and dey gave me his number. N once i called him he was so polite and he said he ll come n gv me the wallet.I told him dt i ll come and collect but he said its not safe for a girl to travel and come all alone at this hour.N he came n he returned my wallet.. i handed ober 500 rs to buy something for himself.He was like no its like bribe for me and i am not taking it and he just drove his bullet and went back
                Seriously i was so happy ☺ i can never forget whatever he did today..

                .he was very humble n polite with me while till destination of mine...oos driver ne jab last ride liya thaa tab ek bande ka wallet cab me he reh gaya tha bcz customer was drunk out n wasn't aware of this thing...n when customer called up next day to that driver regard this ki " bhaiaa aapke cab me kal koi wallet mila kya...??"...driver ne kaha ki jakar me dekhta hu cab me vehicle Oosi ke paas thi...to wallet abhi b wahi pe pada hua tha...n driver ne wah wallet jakar customer me work place tak handover kiya...customer ke very important document oosme the as well 2.5 to 3k money b the n all was as it is...this is called loyalty n honest which shown off by that driver to his customer n it was really grt experience which I felt...its my personally suggestions to ola that aisi he honest, polite, professional n humble communication waale driver ko rakha karo then when a customer booked a ride with ola would feel like that this was an his own car n driver who gave me satisfied od a ride

                  I had booked an ola share on 15th july, 2016 at 8 am. The same day i took the ride back and i had opted for my own ola at 4:30 pm the price of which came to rs. 370.

                  But the ola share on 15th july, 2016 morning charged me rs. 340. Ola share claims to charge 50% of the regular price but does the above charge look anywhere like 50%?

                  Ola share is making business by getting in more people with close to the actual price but advertising as 50% fare. I am very disappointed with this and would like you to take serious action against cheating common people.

                    Today i booked a cab at 5.30 pm. driver was Mahendra ([protected]) and car was Whit Dzire Tour WB19H0752. My booking was OSN[protected]. He made me wait for 15 minutes and then refused to pick me. Very badly behaved and threatened me, if I don't cancel the booking, he will start journey with out picking me. The support button of the app is not working. I could not compliant against him in the support.
                    Most of ola cab drivers are behaving like that only. Ola support link in the app is also not working.

                    Today me also faced below issue with Ola Cab driver:

                    I faced a similar issue with Ola... On 27/7 at 8:30pm, I booked an OLA... They picked me up, asked for the destination. Since it's far, they asked me to get off the cab.
                    This has taken place thrice on the same day. I had to wait an hour!! outrageous behavior

                      West Mambalam to Guindy, Chennai - 7.00 p.m. Fare Rs. 157/-
                      While for the same distance return was charged @ Rs. 449/-

                      For return booked for pick-up at 10.00 p.m on 07.05.16. Driver called at around 9.30 and I said we will be ready by 10.15. Driver refused and immediately I said we will be ready by 10.00, still the driver refused on the grounds that he need to make more trips and hence cannot even come at the booked time. Booked another vehicle through ola through one of my colleages and shcokingly the charge was 3 times of normal. For the onward trip it costed me Rs. 157/- and for return it was Rs. 449/-. We agree to pay some extra amount for night jouneys but claiming 3 times of normal fare is unjustified. It may be noted that OLA serves general public and they cannot fleece public like this. Would urge ola to look into their pricing policy.

                      Similarly on 26.06.16, booked a cab for return @ 10.00 p.m. from Abirami Megal Mall to West Mambalam in Chennai. I mentioned the location excactly at the time of booking. Driver called up at around 9.50 and said that he is 3 kms. away and will not be able to make the trip. By the time Old could arrange another vehicle, I took other means fo transport to reach the destination. However, ola arranged for another vehicle and the driver was disappointed when he realised that I no longer required his service.

                        Attached copy of bill (crn[protected]. ride was on 25th july'[protected]@ around 6:20pm. booked macro (rs.6/km) got charged for around (rs.12/km). called up customer care today (27thjuly @4:30pm. mr. nafees (cc agent) clarified that base charges are rs.50 for 0km & thereafter rs.6 for entire distance (18.9km)+rs. 50 ride time charges (rs.1/min for 50 min) charged. attached app screenshot. no where its specified that base charges are addition to charges /km.
                        1. per my knowledge every other co. charges base charges = minimum charge which means it will be charged if you don't exceed certain specified limits (eg. an auto /taxi charges rs.18/22 per km even if you travel for 0.50 km).
                        2. to surprise ride charges = waiting charges as per details available to mobile app (screenshot attached). but i was charged for rs.1/min for entire duration i travelled.
                        Kindly check both bills attached here & do the needful asap.

                        I am being charged unfair for my trip. I booked ola cab on 13.10.22 for 4hrs towards indirapuram ghaziabad from sarita vihar new delhi which was supposed to cost 949 Rs approx. but returned back immediately after 10mins ride after seeing severe traffic jam in Noida. I was still charged 1231 Rs. I asked about this to the driver and he said it is all made by the company and he has nothing to do with this. I paid in cash because I was traveling with my Mother and do not want arguments. I wrote to ola cabs also but it has been 2 days there is no response and they do not bother to give response and resolve. Kindly look into the matter and enable me to get my refund which is charged unfair to me.

                          I initially booked my cab at 7 am to reach gurgaon by 8:30. Mohd zahid the driver picked the phone and after hearing gurgaon he denied duty. Then again i booked and spoke to manottam he said he would reach in 5 mins and after waiting g for 15mins i called and he kept disconnecting my phone. It was by then 7:25 i spoke to ola customer care n she booked a cab driver name is ashok he said to reach in 10 mins, however, as again his phone went not reachable and didn't reach. I then spoke to poonam devi from escalation desk she ensured to get another cab for me with out even understanding my concern. When i said that ola had wasted my time n money in calling n waiting for their drivers. She starting blaming me when i said that ola has to compensate this ride. I had a meeting at 8:30 am n she said if the meeting was so imp you should have done it with some other company. Illogical answers were given to me, even if i had booked another cab they would have taken their own time. So i waited for ola to come as they kept promising to reach. Still poonam said at 8 am that you would reach gurgaon from east delhi on time 8:30. Didn't know ola has flying gares..
                          I have been a loyal customer to ola and had booked numerous time, howeve, this was not expected from ola. Sad point poonam kept blaiming me.

                          I just want ola to compensate for this ride i had taken. I am sure ola could do this as they wasted my money and time 1 hr is not less than o wait.

                            Dear sir
                            I have been a regular customer of ola and on monday 5 of the drivers refused to ply and later on when the cab arrived and on my boarding the trip got automatically cancelled. Moreover the application was blocked.

                            I had wasted almost an hour to get the ride.

                            The driver could not locate the gps and i had to take an auto to hub mall and then the trip gets cancelled.

                            Do you still want me to continue and recommend ola to others then please make up for the frustration caused. [protected]. Currently i have stopped using ola services

                              On 21st july 2016 i booked ur car online twice from thakur village to vasai but two bookings were cancelled by ur drivers as they didn't wish to go to vasai. We were made to wait for one hour with my old mother and two kids. Pathetic... Isn't it. However on 3rd booking made..
                              Driver was gud and gave us gud service.
                              Kindly expel those two drivers who r bringing bad name to ur company. The details of two drivers who cancelled the booking on their own are:
                              Pankaj dhuma crn[protected] was very arrogant infact was giggling and pramesh jhadav crn[protected].

                                Of late I see a decline in the services of Ola, Bangalore. The drivers deny duty saying that they have not received an intimation from the company. The app itself does not show the correct location of the cab. The app says 2 min away but the driver is 20 min away. I'm not sure if the drivers are denying on purpose or it is a mistake of the app. Only after 4-5 failed bookings and speaking to these drivers, we were able to book a cab. This happened on 22/07/2016. a similar incident happened on 26/07/2016. We were supposed to catch a bus at 23.30 at Bommanahalli. We were trying to book a cab from 22:00 from Bannerghatta road.Most of the drivers said they were not getting the message from the app, some of them were wrongly located by the app, One driver said he will come and finally said there is a breakdown. We then had to catch a cab at 23:10 through uber. We had to stop the bus because we were delayed.

                                  I booked a ola share and wait for the cab, from btm to railway station. After 15 mins cab driver not called me so i call driver ( naveen d), he told i will not go, directly refused and told cancel it i will not take your cab.
                                  That time too late so i cancel and book another cab.
                                  My questions is:
                                  Why i am going to pay the extra money for cancelation, if your driver tell that i will not go.

                                    I have booked this cab but driver said he will not come and pick me up. I dont understand why bill was generated under my name, when i never travelled. Please investigate and revert.
                                    First if all you guys will never come when it is raining, If luckily I am able to book a cab, your driver will say i cannnot come . And i do not understand without even boarding cab you guys are sending me bills. I booked a Uber and got a prompt reply from them and also the cab, that too on time .

                                      I had made a booking for office from hanumanthnagar to nahavara at 8.45 am on the 26th of july 2016. The following are the booking details driver name - kuttappa sm, mobile number-[protected], white indica, vehicle number - ka04d2221. My otp number for the ride[protected].
                                      I. Ve called immediately after booking and till 9.20 am he was telling he was reach my place within 5 minutes. Once he reached my place he didnt stop ola cab. Even i called him he didnt response by that time and blocked my call.
                                      Because of this issue i had missed meeting by 10.15 with my one of client. I lost my client because of this issue.

                                      This is very unfrare that you charge an extra 2.1 time of the fare when it is pickup or rush hour. When demand of cars are more you charge 2/ 3 toes more than the fare. Do you reduce the price when there is less demand? No you do not. This is down right cheating. I am going to the media giving details what you do.

                                        I booked a ride from 6 sunny park to kolkata riverside, batanagar on sunday 24th july 2016 around 8:45 a. m. the amount charged by driver alok ray was inr 354/- whereas the message i received a bit later, after payment was inr 254/-. i called the driver immediately and he promised to return the money at 6 sunny park. however he has not done the same to date.
                                        I shall be obliged if this matter is taken care of and my email acknowledged.
