I booked a cab on 17th Feb 2016 in pune. During the trip i asked the driver to drop me at a shopping centre for some shopping. Customer will never tell the driver where to park the car. As i started some shopping, within 10 -15 minutes the driver comes and tells me that he is being challaned and asked me for rs 500. He said that he doesn't have any money. I told him that as the trip is on auto pay, i can't give any money.then he pleaded and promised me to pay on end of trip.i paid on humanitarian ground with a hope to get back at the end. When the trip ended the driver just left saying that he doesn't have any money. I was shocked. ...i complained the customer support. ...i get a strange one sided so called investigation telling me first that it was parking charges and was only Rs 100...
More shocked ...i replied that its totally wrong...i get a reply again that i asked the driver to park in front of shopping complex.

I feel amazed at the way they are befooling the customers.

    I referred my friend for OLA and got the referral coupon of Rs.200 on dec 2012
    and the code was validity upto March11. However, they removed the code on Feb 16th and when contacting to customer care they said it is a violation of code of conduct. I asked them what could be the reason, they are telling our system did and we do not have any information. When i request they are telling it is already expired from Jan-15. i spoke two supervisor from OLA and write mail.. still no resolution. The way they are telling it is customer issue. The customer care from OLA is arrogant and useless.

    I surprised from OLA response and felt cheated from OLA. It is not safe in OLA money too as they deducted the money without my knowledge. I wish not to use OLA and requested them to transfer my current OLA money and disable my account. They are saying the current OLA money you have to use and we can not transfer them. What kind of logic OLA is following, you will not tell the reason of coupon code removal and you can not return my OLA money.

    I was a big fan of OLA, daily i book OLA during office up and down. Now i lost faith and requested people to use UBER or other taxi service provider instead of arrogant OLA.

      It was a very bad and frustrating experience with ola. I was dropped in mid way with luggages in my hand, which was very risky. I escalated this issue to Mumbai floor supervisor Mr. Kerker and Mr. Vaibhav but no satisfactory answer given by them. Mr. Kerker asked me to arrange my own transport in such a worst situation. This incident happened on 14th Feb 2016. Now today on 18th Feb ola representative called me and put me false allegation that driver told that I was consuming alcohol in cab, which is false and it further harasses me emotionally. I need explanation from ola for this.
      I too had same kind of experience today. Was dropped midway at 10.45pm saying my destination won't come under city limit. But many a times I took ola to same destination. I showed proof to driver but still he refused. Lodged a complaint. Don't know what will be the fate. I'm going to lodge a case if no fruitful solution.

        I booked for a OLA cab, due to some reasons I changed my mind and cancelled the cab. before even getting into the cab the driver has started the trip and I informed him to cancel the cab.
        My OLA money of Rs.212 was charged unnecessarily.
        this is really unbearable ..without even riding charging this much amount is too much.
        worst service.

            I am Dr Umamani, I booked a cab on 16th Feb and got the confirmation that the cab No is KA02AB2225, driver Ramesh. Accordingly cab came in time and I travelled from NR Colony to Sadashivnagar. after reaching the place the amount shown was Rs 279/= and paid Rs 280/= ( i did feel it is high but the amount was shown in the instrument so I cannot say anything). Same day in the afternood again my fried booked a cab for me to return for the return journey the (same distance) amount came to Rs 179/= a difference of Rs 100/=. How such a thing can happen. Morning my time for getting into the taxi was 11-09 AM and evening it was about 4 PM. I need an explanation for such discripancy.

            This is not the first time I had such bitter experience earlier also to Yelahanka the fare was exorbitantly high. Now I do not have the details of that trip.

              I requested for a cab ride from Nakhrali thani near Rao in Madhya Pradesh (Near Indore) on 16 February 2016 for 4:30 PM and the request was made around 3:17PM. My request was accepted and a conformation message was received on on 3:21 PM and booking ID was CRN[protected]. Booking was made by the name of Siddharth Deoras, a regular customer of the company. The cab didn't arrived on the given time and not even afterwards. I was left stranded on a far off place facing lot of agony and difficulties. Later a cancellation mail was received on 17 February 2016 at 12:32PM, which is on next day mentioning a regret due to unavailability of cab.
              This behavior adopted by the company of sending a regret mail a day latter is not acceptable and requires a serious action to be taken to avoid further sufferance and agony by any other bonafide consumer.

                My name is Prakash Gandhi, from Pune
                I just want to register a complaint against Ola Cab.
                I booked my ride many times and got the cab on time as well.
                BUt dont know what happend with the service now, last 2-3 times when I booked my ride got a confirmation message also stating that I booked the cab and will receive the drivers call and contact number 30 minutes prior to the ride.
                Havent got any info abt the drives as well as got the cab too. And when trying to call it shows that I havent booked any cab too.
                Last time when I had a lot of guest at my home and I booked a cab from my place i.e Undri Jakat Naka, Pune I got a phone call from the driver stating that he was at near my point i.e nearby Kondhawa (somewhere Uppar Indiara nagar) this was happend 2-3 times.
                Dont know if I booked a cab through App from A Point, How it reflect point B at drivers device.
                Please check and let me know.
                Even most of the time we need to catch a train or any emargency we booked a car but havent got on time, even that time we faced so many difficultied to reach our destination too.
                So kindly check with you application, whether its the application bug or the device/system through which u people transfer all the customer details to the driver.

                Even I need to book a cab today again... tell me how can I book and give me confirmation that I will get a cab too.

                Hoping to get the same fruitful relation in the future with you people and please resolve the issue quickly manner.

                      This is a complaint on Ola cabs especially when the customer uses the Ride Later option for cab booking...

                      I had booked a cab in Chennai on 13th Feb 2016 - Saturday for a pickup on 15th February 2016 morning at 5:10 am..The booking was accepted and the booking reference number was CRN[protected]

                      To ensure that the booking is confirmed, I had called Ola on Sunday and it was confirmed that the booking is ON and the cab would be there on time and I would get an intimation a few minutes before the time asked for...

                      To my utter dismay and disappointment, there was no message nor any call on my booking and out of sheer tension had called the Ola number and it is when I had the biggest of the disappointment and surprise...Ola cabs said that my booking has not been assigned to anyone and thats the reason for no message or call...Imagine the customer being made to land in a situation a few minutes before he/she had to leave for railway station or airport to catch a train or flight

                      Now what do you call this service..Even "poor service" would be a lesser word..."Pathetic service" would be a better word..

                      This is happening for the 2nd time and since I had this experience for the first time, I had cross checked the booking once again on Sunday-14th Feb 16..

                      Am taking it that Ola would take this complaint seriously and come out with a resolution and compensate me adequately for the disservice I had got twice especially on the bookings done for early mornings using the Ride Later option..

                      If I dont get a response or resolution then I would believe that Ola doesn't care for the customer and their intention is only to make money and not look at customer satisfaction and confidence..
                      As known to all, customer satisfaction is the most important aspect for any service business growth and not actioning on customer complaints and not providing them with a solution and compensation would bring the customer preferences down

                      I would like to get compensated by

                      - providing free rides for once or twice in the next bookings

                      or

                      - deposit money in Ola wallet to be used for future use

                      Hoping that the above description would be enough to solve and compensate for the disservice provided by Ola cabs..

                      If Ride Later is something which cannot be relied upon, why have it in the first place and it can only be Ride Now through the App

                        I referred my friend for OLA and got the referral coupon of Rs.100 to use it for free ride which was valid till May 2016. However OLA removed without any evidence and giving assumed responses that it might be due to some reasons the coupon got cancelled.

                        If OLA has full proof evidence and specific reason then only they can reomve the coupon otherwise ask OLA to offer me the coupon again.

                            I booked a minicab from bidarguppe (sarjapur attebele road) to airport on 12/02/2016 for my ride on17/02/2016 at 7.00am.through their app.vide CRN[protected] which showed the status as confirmed till today (17/02/2016).They did not even informed me about the cancellation from their end.Is this the way they are doing business in our country.Are their act not punishable for causing a huge amount of loss to a senior citizens like me who is a cancer patient accompanied by his mother who is 84 years old.We were scheduled to go by spicejet flight departure time 10.10am. As a result we missed the flight and had to return home. We could not cancel or reschedule our flight as the time expired for it. The olacab is solely responsible for my loss of 11000/-.I have got all proof of their fraudulent act.

                              After this he proceeded to pick up other passengers in the cab sayingthat this is again Ola practice. Getting worried for safety...I asked him to stop the cab at a traffic road and got out of the taxi immediately

                                On 14th February 2016 I booked cab from my son's mobile number [protected] from Karvanagar to Pune Railway station around 5 p.m. I was told that due to rush hour charges will be somewhat on higher side. While getting on cab, I asked Cab Driver about the charges. He told he don't know how much it will be. I was in hurry as I have to catch train from Station. After reaching station, I was shocked to see the bill. It was showing hooping amount Rs. 468 for 8.82 kms in 24, 42 minutes. I have travelled same destinations on same timing (i.e. Sunday evening ) to catch the train. It was never above Rs. 150. As per their rents it is Rs. 49 for first two KMs and there on wards it is Rs. 12 per km plus ride time charges Rs. 1 per minute. With this rate structure it should not be more than 160 Rs. I tried to find whether I can register complaint on OLA website but I Couldn't find proper window in it, hence I am registering it on this forum

                                    I took a share cab from hosmat hospital bangalore to green glen layout. On the way the software was hanged and the trip got cancelled because of which i was dropped nowhere to my knowledge and had to wait and book a cab again. the inconvenience caused in terms of waiting time tht too at night is irreperable.

                                      Using the app on my mobile I booked a cab and got a message (reproduced verbatim below)
                                      Say Ola to your driver GANSHYAM YADAV ([protected]) for CRN[protected] White Swift Dire MH01BT7135 to pick you up at @3.17 pm, 15 Feb. Please share https://www.olacabs.com/track/75i6jfsph with friends/family and let them track you.

                                      However I got a call at 3.19pm, which I missed. Then at 3.22pm I called him and got to know that he is unable to track my exact location. I told him that I was waiting on the Andheri-Kurla Road, near Safed Pul at the taxi stand. He told me he is not allowed to pick up customers from taxi stand; which is weird as I was standing on the road (which does not belong to any taxi driver or their union) and just that all taxis and their drivers were resting on the pavement behind me. I thought that it will be an easy point to locate. But still I did not argue and said that I will walk a few steps ahead and stand bang opposite Ashwin restaurant and bar. As per him he was at that point of time on the airport road. I explained to him to take a left turn from the airport road to reach my exact location. However that was not to be and he could not follow the directions so I said that I will stand exactly at the turn of the airport road which connects to Andheri-Kurla road, a little ahead of Safed Pul. If he really had been where he was claiming to be he would not have taken light years to reach where I was standing. But a series of conversation followed between us and finally he told me he was near Leela hotel. That is in Marol. Because I was the one in dire need to reach Chandivali I kept one walking till Sakinaka Junction and again called him to not turn towards Kurla road as it will waste time; instead I will crossover and reach towards the Saki-Vihar road, so that he will find me exactly at the left turn, if he is coming from Marol toward Sakinaka junction. Finally at 3.46pm did I manage to sit in the cab. When I asked why was he lying all this while he replied that the GPS navigator installed in the vehicle gives wrong directions and location of waiting customers, and hence the delay.
                                      I do not know whether he was lying or he was genuine, but if he was actually near airport and was aware of the connecting road to Andheri-Kurla road he would not have taken so much time and would have reached 3 minutes flat!

                                      My grouse is multifold, firstly why do you people over-promise and under-perform? If it was not possible to send a cab at the time mentioned then don't promise. Expectations cause all problems and you are not worthy of trust, as you did not live up to your promises. Secondly, teach your drivers all the correct routes especially short cuts. Thirdly, with engineers at the helm of affairs the last thing one would expect is a technology failure, but it does happen at least that's what the driver told me. Or else teach them to speak the truth and do not keep the customers waiting for ages. And lastly, why can't you have a system where the driver gets to see the exact location of the customer instead of we shouting ourselves hoarse on a busy road in trying to tell them directions?
                                      Thanks to your delay I reached the appointment late and the school where I had some administrative work to be done had already got over. As I doubted that this could happen, I asked him to wait for a couple of minutes to let me check if I need to wait or come some other day. My doubts came true and they said they had already closed for the day and so I returned with your same cab. In total I paid Rs. 160/- for my frustration, loss of time, energy and cancelled appointment. Tomorrow again I will have to go again; all this wastage thanks to your poor services.
                                      I thought for a moment to not pay the cab driver but I thought that you people will deduct it from his share and a poor man will suffer. Unlike you I am not interested in fleecing people of their hard-earned money.

                                        Yesterday evening 7:52pm i booked a cab crn number[protected] white indica TS05UA1421 driver Saida Naik. First he said he is near my home i said ok from signal take right and then second left he said ok .. later after 10min i called him he said he is on same route i directed him again he said he knows only telugu i dont understand how hard is it to understand right and left.. later he said he is new and cant find directions he was repeating this same thing and after 20mints he called n said he is near pvr. I got angry on him n later he canlled my booking how dare he did that... Later at 8:32pm i made another booking crn[protected] silver indica TS03UB0095 driver Sampath ch. This guy was also same my ph route map is not working even after reaching taj krishna he doesnt know how and from where to take 'U' turn. After calling customer care they are sorry . Sorry for what you people have spoiled my entire evening.
