Dear Sir/Madam, I had booked ola cab around 7.45 A.M. on[protected] from my House No.710, Upstairs, 6th Main, Vijaya Nagara, Bangalore - 40 to send my aged parents to my native place SONDEKOPPA which is hardly around 25 kms from my house. One need to take right turn at Tavarekere ( Bangalore-Magadi Main Road) to reach our village. I was assigned with white TATA Indica Car KA-02-2050 vide CRN78381192 and the name of the driver is UVARAJ and his phone number is [protected]. After reaching Sunkada Katte, the said driver started demanding excess fare from my parents on the ground that if he drops at Sondekoppa, he would not get new customers and he had also called me and on humanitarian ground, I agreed to pay a sum of Rs.50/- over and above the meter fare. The meter was showing Rs.385/- after dropping at my native place. However, the said driver, had collected a sum of Rs.485/- from my parents and the same was paid under protest. Therefore, I request your goodself to look into the matter and please see that the same thing should not happen again to anybody and it is in the interest of your esteemed organisation and also the general public.     This has reference to the subject and booking reference: CRN 76464848 booking done on 19th and received confirmation. Booking was for 20th 4.55am drivers number and details of vehicle was informed at 4.32 am on 20th April 2015 at 4.40am call received from driver mentioning that he is in distance of 12 to 13 KM and for particular pickup its loss for them hence they requested to OLA for cancellation. Immediately once call off we received cancellation of booking. It was left only 10mnts for me to arrange new vehicle for Railway station..       I received a confirmation message for this booking at 13.23 via email. At 20.16 I received the message that the cab was coming at 20.30. Name of driver Hira Ram, Phone no. [protected]. Then, at 20.22 I received the message that the booking has been cancelled. It even said that I had requested the cancellation!! This was completely false and caused me impossible damage, since I had a train to catch. The driver too called me and said that he will not come because because of the cancellation. This is the first time that OLA cab has caused me this absurd problem. I don't think I would advise anyone to use this service if she or he has important engagements. Absolutely terrible service.

        Ref:CRN77182222 OLA INVOICE NO.77182222 dated 22 Apr, 2015 The actual distance is 16.5 Kms.You can go by GPS also. The invoice says Ride time charge for 46 Min: ₹46.0 The bill by SMS and Email states 13 Min as the wait time. So the company should have charged Rs 213 only Kindly give the credit or return the sum of Rs 103/- M/s OLA should immediately act. Vatsala Lakshmanan

          I booked a cab for airport drop on[protected] in the evening for which I received a booking confirmation (confirmation no-CRN[protected] but nobody showed up. No message about cab details or anything. I tried to contact ola but no response too. We had to drag our luggage all the way to taxi stand and took a taxi from there. This is highly unprofessional of Ola n I have no intentions of taking its services in future.

            Ola has silently enhanced the prices by introducing new"Ride Time charges". This is in addition to "Peak time charges" and "Waiting charges". After first 5 mins "Ride Time Charges" starts and they charge you Re 1 every Min for the duration of the journey. This is bland cheating and looting by the company. Hereby i request all be aware of this and avoid hiring OLA.
            Yes...This is really cheating.

            When they already charging Rs./km, why should we pay for ride time charges.
            If the driver drives slow then we are ending up paying money for it.

            Dont want to use Ola now.

            I was charged the below:
            base fare for travel of first 4 kms: 80
            total distance was 6, so perkm @10 = 20
            Peak hour surcharge = 50
            ride time for 21 mins= 21
            Total bill amount 171

            I do not understand the logic behind ride time rate, if you are already charging a peak hour surcharge. I paid 71 rs. extra for a distance of 6 kms, and plus listened to the driver grumbling that he traveled 6 kms to pick me up. which shouldnt be my problem.
            I totally am against chargin of thie peak hour surcharge+ride time charges
            Yes in Bangalore Ola is cheating customers like this. I am attaching a receipt hereby showing Ride time charges other than Peak time charges and Ola is exploiting the customers. No proper justification from Ola. 24th June Sunday night at around 9:15 I wanted a cab to bring my mother home from hospital. Before even confirming for cab on my mobile the Ola app displayed 75 Rs additional peak time charge, Agree or Try again later. For a distance of 7 Kms I want to travel it would cost 80 Rs for first 4 Kms (previously it was 100Rs for first 6 Kms) then 30 Rs for additional 3 kms, riding time charges minimum would have been 40 Rs and over that additional peak time charge of 75 Rs...plus service tax and weighting charges (min 20 Rs) total it would have come up to 245Kms. I decided to take auto and it costed me 92Rs and saved 153Rs. What dirty tricks is Ola playing? No regulators for Ola?

            Its clear that OLA is cheating customers by having different charges under different headings. Not sure what is Ride time charges. They can drop me in 1 minute / per km or in no time. below is the fare charges where it was costing me around 140/-. now it costed me 200/-


            FARE BREAKUP
            First 4 km: ₹80.0
            Rate for 6.18 km: ₹61.8
            Free ride time (5 min) ₹0.0
            Ride time charge for 48.06 min: ₹48.06
            Total tax ₹10.63


            I registered complaint with Ola # 5024525 . Let us see if we hear anything from them.

            Dont why ola is charging ride time charges and more over i booked the cab around 11.20 and dong know why the peak time charges are applicable. generally peak time will be from 9 to 11 bcoz generally after 11 they will not be much traffic decided hereafter not to book ola again
            For a 6km ride, i had to pay 168/- on ola mini ride which is 8per km.. As they said besides taxes n othr cost they chRged journey time. That means they charged 23per km. They can charge waiting time but how can they charge journey time? Thst means we are paying double for a single ride. One on basis of km and other one on basis of time taken. They said its 8rs per km but actually its 24rs per km. They hide such charges. Meru n mega r atleast honest with their rates. We thought ola are our lives savour and boon to us that we do not have to depend on nirmal taxis but this made me n many others run away frm ola. We wll have tp depend on other options.             Yesterday I used OLA CAB from Andheri, Mumbai to Vasai Near Mumbai app. 45 KM vide Ref No. CRN[protected]

            OLA Charged Peak time charges ( even though there was no such peak) (for try I searched for 2nd booking after getting into, ride there was ample cab available)

            I have paid by cash for my latest ride by auto but I have got my ola money account also debited for the same. request you to credit my account back. Thanks
            Yesterday I also faced the same issue. Ola charged 45 rupees for 45 mins travel time. Why this charged when paying kilometer charges for trip. This is really cheating. People are paying extra money from their pocket and ola are shameless about that also we are not responsible for heavy traffic or slow driving.

              Its been observed that when ever i call the call center to book a cab, i just get a standard response stating that they are unable to book as the systems are updating. And this is the standard response i have got for calls made at any hour of the time. The ola cabs call center executives needs better training in terms of customer service. This is just so annoying cause if you dont have a mobile app you cant do bookings at all if you wanna travel. Hope to hear a favourable response from the team as i need to vent out few more grivences.

                Had booked cab from Nagpur Railway Station for 6:50 and there was no cab till 7:29 and even the driver did not pick my call. When called the call center she put me on hold for 10mins and finally had to catch an auto rickshaw. Worst experience after traveling the whole night.

                  Hi Team, I had the worst experience with Ola Cabs yesterday. I booked a cab in New Delhi from Shakti Nagar to Naraina Industrial Vihar Phase 1 on 26/04/2015. While booking, your team booked for 9:18 AM instead of 7PM. I had to made the booking thrice, cancelling the previous two. Every time they made the wrong booking. Such a fool team you have. But just before the pickup time(7PM), i got calls from three different drivers. First driver. Mr Tejveer said he is stucked in traffic so he will be late & asked me to check for alternative nearby cab. After calling the customer service team, they cancelled the Tejveer's cab(Grey tata indigo HR6614057) & booked the alternative cab, Mr Akhter Ali (UP14 ET2853) which again also was late . Suddenly i got a call from new driver saying that i am waiting from 6:45 PM. We boarded that cab at 7:20PM so waiting charge should be for 20 minutes but he charged for 36 minutes. To add to this, he did not know the route at all plus he did not had the GPS in his cab. What the hell is this?? The actual distance is 9 KM but he took 15 KM, we were over charged. Bill was charged on CRN 77954749. Our cab at 10:30 PM was also a disaster. Driver is Mr Faruk, CRN 78094452 White Innova HR74 AT2413. He was not ready to wait . What is his problem, when we are paying waiting charges. Once boarded, he took the very long & different route to reach Shakti Nagar. But he took the Dhaula Kuan route which he should not have taken at all. Total distance covered is 26KM which is too much as the actual distance is 9 KM. We were telling him the correct route but he did not listen to us. He was doing his own thing. It was scary for us . Why the hell did he do that. He was also not having the GPS. Such a horrible experience for me & my family. Please take this issue very seriously. Your prime concern is the passenger . Do look into it & take a serious action .

                    Hi Team, This is regarding my previous trip. I have seen the ride time charge. When I called the call center they asked me send a mail to you guys. This is really sick you guys are charging more and making your customers fools. Once you guys charge peak hour traffic as 50 bugs more or waiting charges etc. My question is ride time charges is not valid on on all rides. It depends on the traffic. For example for reaching a destination from my house to majestic it may take 30 mins, the same distance the other driver will go in 45 mins with the same amount of traffic. Then why the customer has to pay ride time charge unwantedly? Instead of reducing the Base fare, remove the ride time charge and keep the base fare as 100 . There is no benefit to the customer, it's a over head. I feel UBER is the cheaper cab than you guys. Waiting for your reply. Regards, Kiran [protected]

                      Dear Sir, On 21 April 2015, I have booked a OLA cab from RRCAT Guest house to Railway station Indore to my friend Shri S S Barala. The cab no was MP-09 TA 6516. The booking was done with my phone, the number is [protected]. After completed the journey, 228 Rupees were paid by my friend to the cab driver the name was Bairagi and his contact number is [protected]. Simultaneously, the OLA cab also deducted online 228 rupees from my OLA account. I have already complaint regarding this four or five times to OLA customer care service (the contact no. is [protected]) from 22nd April to 26th April 2015, but till now the matter could not be solved. At every time when I contacted on [protected], they told for hold the phone and they hold it more than five minutes. In every time during complaint, I have spent 10-15 rupees, I have contacted 4-5 times that's why I have extra paid 40-50 rupees except 228 rupees. Kindly help me. Thanks, Saleem Khan

                        I have been using ola cabs for nearly 10months in madurai city. I haven't faced any difficulties so far. Currently I'm in Chennai and i booked ola auto and ola cabs, both the services are very poor in Chennai. The drivers doesn't seem to respond me properly and cancelled my ride without giving prior information. And the drivers are asking the customers for the route as they say they are new to the city. This has happened to me twice so far within a week. What a foolish response from a taxi driver who does not know about the route in the place he is as a driver.The happened to my friend also. I feel really hatred about the ola cabs. They have been doing really well in the beginning but now it is turning to towards the worst. No use of increasing their business by merging with taxiforsure, where now ola has failed their customer satisfaction.

                          Hi, I had booked my cab (bangalore ola) on Apr 20th for Apr 27 to 29 ride. I came to know (by surpirse) that the rate have been changed without informing the customers. The call center executive, supervisor, manager are all useless and say that Ola is right in changing the rates. I accept that but customer MUST be informed WITHOUT FAIL by email/sms about rate changes for old booking or new booking... One supervisor by name Ms. Vidyashree says customer must know these things and Ola NEED NOT (WILL NOT) inform about rate changes. WTF ?? In this era of internet, an email/sms notification to customers was sufficient. I have not got any email even after 3 days of rate change. The supervisor doesn't even know the basic etiquittes of customer support. I think the entire Ola system needs an enhancement to be in good business... Otherwise, this is called as LOOTING... Example: (For Mini) 1st 4kms 80 rs A next 1 km 10 rs B Ride time 1 re per min C No wait time (first 5min is free, instead of old 10 mins). WTF?? What am i doing in A and B above, am I not RIDING (OCCUPYING) the cab ? Why the hell extra ride time charges when i AM ALREADY riding and charged in A and B above? Is ola giving me any special treatment by adding ride time ? This is and not informing the customer of the rate change is worst I have ever seen. Also, Ms.Vidhyashree claims (not sure) that the new rate change has passed regulation! Where in this world this is announced ?? Hey, Ola, first of all dont think of only money, business is NOT JUST money...When u do business, think of creating and retaing a customer and carefully plan when you really want to retain a customer... Just becoz u have a markter share doesnt mean that you can loot people without taking care properly.

                            I have booked a cab from Hubli to Dharwad @10pm. I got a cancellation message at 9.50 pm that there are no drivers. We had a great difficulty in arranging another cab outside. Why cant they inform before. Worst cab service. I will never go for OLA again.

                                Dear Mr. Abdul Waheed, I am in receipt of your email dated 24.04.2015 and I thank you very much for the credit of Rs.39/- to my OLA Money Account. However, on the same day ie., on 23.04.2015 (Invoice No:[protected] again there was an excess billing of mileage and I had lodged a complaint and I was told credit of Rs.15/- would be given but so far the credit has not yet come to my OLA account . I am surprised as to how such mistakes happen and as such I am unable to accept your reason of technical glitch, since this has happened with every trip of mine for which the drivers have charged excess and for which you need to refund me. Please note that refund of Rs.39/- is not a gesture since it is due to me legally since your Driver have charged me excess Practically on all trips made by me, there is an excess charged by you both in turns of mileage as well as waiting time. I own a vehicle and I have a driver and as such I used one route only and also I have used one route only from my office ie., from Chakala to my residence ie., at Ghatkopar and vice versa. Since my driver was on vacation, I had hired OLA, taxi for sure, black and white taxies etc. If you observe from the OLA invoices, you will find that distance is different for different trips although the route is same, same place for pick-ups and same place for drop-off and vice versa are constant. So also I have observed that the pick-up time which is mentioned in the invoice is earlier than the actual pick-up time when the vehicle arrives. This you can find out from the second SMS you send, where in you say your cab has arrived i.e., first message which we receive says that OLA cab will pick-up at ……. whenever the second message says OLA cab has arrived. In all the below mentioned cases there is no waiting time from my side, but you have charged me wrongly. The distance between Chakala to Ghatkopar [the same route taken everyday] is 7.05 kms and from Ghatkopar to Chakala is 6.98 kms [see your invoice 75446644 dated 15.04.2015]. The details of excess billing is as per attached. I would appreciate if you can depute a representative so that he can drive on my car or your OLA car both from Ghatkopar to Chakala and vice versa for reconfirming the actual mileage. Please arrange o refund me immediately Rs. 290.30 as per the attachment In case if you would like to see all the invoices and timings, please call me on my mobile .                                   This is to inform you that ola cabs is one of the most irreresponsible cab that i have come across. My husband had initially booked a cab from ola and had been promised that cab service would be available at 3:00 pm. The address had been clearly mentioned to them. When my husband had called after some time they said that the driver is on their way. My husband waited and recalled only to be informed in the 11th minute that the address was away from city. If that was the scenario, the responsibility of ola was to inform that their services are not available. He had a flight to catch which could have been missed. This has caused a lot of tension and i entirely blame ola for this. This mail is to inform you that this will not be taken lightly.

                                    Hi,

                                    1st incident - I have booked a cab for Apr 10, 2015 10:00 AM, CRN74067944. I have booked the cab a day before to avoid any last minute rush. On the next day the cab driver informed that he will be late by an hour. So I have cancelled the cab that day.

                                    2nd incident - I have booked a cab for 23rd April at 10AM, CRN77356496. Again I have booked a cab a day before. When I called the cab driver multiple times, he informed me every time that he will reach in 10 mins. The cab came late by 1 hour saying that he have another passenger. My brother got delayed for his competitive exam. I have called an raised a complaint #16555932 and have not received any response as of 24th April.

                                    3rd incident - I have booked a cab for 24th April at 10AM, CRN77356496. Again I have booked a cab a day before. When I called the cab driver multiple times, he informed me every time that he will reach in 10 mins. The cab came late by 1 hour saying that he have another passenger. My brother got delayed for his competitive exam.

                                    I would like to ask who should be held responsible if he misses the exam and who will compensate for his loss of 1 year.

                                      Dear Sir/Madam, I have booked match ticket today and i have a confirmation of that . i have also call to driver and care but he /she told me this tickets give to another person. this is fraud to me . [protected] You are not giving to information about that so i have complaint to Ola head department and also consumer complaint.

                                        Ola cabs came with a ease to us earlier. I started taking ola cabs since the day it was launched in pune. But day by day experience is getting worst and worst. Would like to bring your attention toward last 3 experience of mine with OLA

                                        Experience 1: 17 Mar, 2015 : Pune
                                        OLA INVOICE NO.68299269
                                        I booked a cab for a Lady Guest from Bharati Vidyapeeth University through Ola App. The driver asked me to come outside the campus which I denied by saying if I wanted to do that I would have taken auto. I told him in Hindi where to come and he was not able to locate the college building .It’s a small campus he should have asked anyone. I tried to tell him the correct address he was being rude on phone and asking to come out I told him directly that I am paying you to pick me up from the pickup point. After reaching to the place he started shouting and misbehaving as I brought the money issue in between . Dude you being a service provider u should be polite. I am addressing him as Sir and he was shouting on me. I was worried about my guest all the time until she reaches her place.

                                        Experience 2: 21 Mar, 2015 Allahabad

                                        I booked ola mini which was showing near to railway station but didn’t reached. SO I got upgraded. But this guy even after telling the perfect way to the place he took me somewhere eals then he told me. Sir I m not from Allahbad hence I don’t know this place. Come on what the hell was that. I got down in middle and took auto. I paid for the ride too.

                                        Experience 3: 17th April: Pune: Time 10:10 P.M.
                                        I booked Ola from App just ride option (CRN[protected]. I need to go to MG road. I have been told a cab is coming to pick me up in 15 mins. At 10:22 I received that cab is delayed by 10 mins. I called the cab driver he kept my call on waiting and never bother to pick it up. I tried several times but no response from his end. I called ola care.Its 10:35 pm I have been told that cab will pick you up in 10 mins (CRN[protected] which never turned up. Ola care repeatedly booked another cab(CRN[protected] which was not able to pick me up. I wasted 40 mins waiting at the gate at Night for ola cabs. Frustrated I took auto as I reached 6 kms I found a ola cab ideally from my place.

                                        18th April: Next day even after rising complain no one bother to call me. So I made a call. I have been told that complain had been raised by Mr.Adil who I suppose a senior supervisor there during that time, action will be taken and 300 ola money will be credited to my account.

                                        23rd April: I wanted to know regarding the action taken on my complain, hence I called again. I had been told that complain was raised to wrong guy. It seems that was my fault that you guys have raised complain to wrong department and again ola 300 money will be credited soon in your account dialogue given to me which supposed to get credit 2 days back.

                                        23rd April : 8:39 pm
                                        I got a email from a Ola to call me back for the issue. Email was sent to me by a guy name Kevin. Its like
                                        “Ola Dr. Gaurav,

                                        We tried calling you on your number (084XXXXXXXX), however couldn't get through.
                                        Request you to please get back to us with your convenient time to discuss and resolve your issue.

                                        I called as I got the email but I came to know this guy is not available. Then why you sent me email with your name on it.

                                        What’s the master plan to frustrate me to insanity and then a dialogue of 300 ola money given to me. I wanted to tell you guys don’t show that giving us 300 ola money is a very good gesture from your end. Its irritating when you tell me that we are giving you 300 Ola money. Do you think I will be requiring this 300 ola money to travel in pune.
                                        I am not a freeloader I am ready to pay you money .Come on 300 Ola money is not above safety and services. Keep this ola money with you. I am a customer who requires better services and safety. You have lost all your credibility which I had for Ola

                                        Imagine a lady waiting for the cab and same things would have happed with her .Cancelling of 3 cabs and then regretting not to pick you and then offering OLA money. Are you really waiting for a day something might unfortunate happen to your customer because you promised and then your cab get cancelled even after waiting for 40 mins.

                                        Remember then you won’t get a chance to apologize and you 300 ola money won’t compensate it

                                        I am just a frustrated and worried customer who once was a big fan of OLA.
