Ola Cabs — overcharging and harassment | |
On 26.09.2019, we booked cab from vadodara ginger hotel to bectochem ankleshwar for 12 hrs. With starting time 7.45 am with estimated charges of inr 2300. Our journey completed at 2122 hrs in the evening, while my mileage was 184 (Exactly same as pre-booked) kms, consuming app. 02 hrs more than pre-booked time. At the end of the journey, when we asked the driver for bill, we were shocked when he asked for inr 3900. My self and driver tried many times with customers care and got different charges all the time from different customer service officer. As we were not getting any justification and satisfactiory justification from any of the customer service officer, even after sitting inside the cab parked outside our destination for more than one and half hrs., we gave inr 3600 cash to driver as one of the customer service officer asked to handover the cash to driver and said that is registering my complaint. Now if i see my ola cab a/c, it is still showing inr 3700 pending on my side. Even after passage of complaint registration by more than 50 hrs, i have not recd. Any justification from ola. I have just talked to driver also and he has confirmed for amount (3600) paid to him by me. The pending bill in ola app showing travelling distance 276 kms, which is totally wrong. Very upset because driver cancelled at last minute and my child didn't go to school as time up and the next ride took long time. Then why the driver should accept the ride. If we cancel they are taking our money. Now my child couldn't go to school on a crucial day
