I purchased Onida AC , booked in COOLEX fair at Chandigarh on finance.
1.The Indoor Unit delivered to me broken from the mounting but the same was changed by shopkeeper on intervention of service personne; of Onida.
2.As I opted for a low voltage stabilizer of 140volts the dealer charged Rs/-1200 extra and provided me with a standard stabilizer That too WITHOUT MRP AND BY WHOM ITS MANUFACTURED.
3.No bill and receipt of down payment is given to me till date I got AC delivered on 08/04/2010.
4.I HAVE MAILED TO ONIDA 5 TIMES BUT THEY HAVE NOT CONTACTED ME EVEN ONCE BUT THEIR DEALER IS AWARE OF ALL THE MAILS AND IT IS SUPPOSED THAT COMPANY OFFICIALS ARE COMMUNICATING WITH DEALER ON REGULAR BASIS.

NOW IN FUTURE I HAVE MADE IT A POINT , NOT TO GO FOR ONIDA BRAND FOR ANY PRODUCT.

    I bought one window air conditioner from Onida @ Mumbai in year 2006. Subsequently i shifted to delhi next year & entered into AMC with them once the warranty got expired. The AC in year 2007 started giving problems such as no cooling. The technician came & told us that the cooling coil has punctured & then he weld it & further filled the gas, every 2 months the problem came & onida people came to make shift arrangement of welding it saying that next time we will replace. We continue to give them the amc & thus the amount every yaer. 2009 nov they came saying that we want to change the cooling coil & took the ac, to my horror once we started the ac, the cooling coil as usual was not working. The techinicain came & gave us same story took the ac some three weeks back & till date i am getting are excuses & excuses. The amc is getting expired by 10th May 2010 & i have no clue whether it will get fine this time. PLS HELP!!

    Onida Window AC — negligence of services

    Dear sir
    I have request for free services to ur call centre, and complained varoius time for this product with in one year, but no action has been taken by ur company, that is very same full to u and ur company, plz take any action

    Onida AC — pathetic service

    I had registered a complaint at Adonis Electronics Pvt Ltd, Raj Nagar, Ghaziabad.

    I must admit that the service is extremely pathetic. The service centre never keeps its promise on attending the compliant on the promised day. It's often as late as 15 days. Besides, there has been instances where the service engineer has given wrong report of solving the problem at the service centre. Last time when the 'relay' and the 'display' of the AC (air conditoner) were to be replaced, the service centre took nothing less than 10 days and that too after several reminders. I was promised falsely that my ac would be repaired that day itself. Even for the normal servicing, the centre has taken 15 long days to attend.

    Even after attending the problem after 10 days, the job wasn't satisfactory and was done in just 10 mins. As a result, I am again facing a problem just a week after the AC was repaired.

    I have booked a complaint on 6/6/09 (complaint number 262). I was promised that someone would attend the problem either on Sunday or Monday. On Monday, I again reminded the service centre, but unfortunately no one turned up.

    I am extremely dissatisfied with the service even after taking an EWC.
    Dear Team,
    I was puchased woodland soes as on 8 oct.2010 from jodhpur woodland showroom at sardarpura. Other woodland dealars giving me 20% to 25% discount hence that i brougth it from woodland showroom without and discount. I have weared it next day and i found that the left shoes is not confartable and move down. So again i went to show room form complain and change it but i getting inconvence and they are not agree to change it. I am spend and lot money for purchased and i am not satisfied by product. Now i want to change it in any how. So pls kinldy reslove this matter as soon as possible otherwise i have any legal action for that.

    two minute working after dead slow running the machine

      i had bought 2 onida 32 inch lcd model no. 32 LDBUR in oct 2007.one of them stopped working in the month of january 2010.made a complain one engineer named mahesh (MUMBAI) came he opeed the tv and said power card is gone it will cost 8000 to repair, he takes the old power card and comes after one month , tries to put the new one which again does not work ,he takes it away and after repeated calls to the call centre he comes and says the old power card is ok but the mother board of the tv is spoilt ,he goes away saying he will call up and let us know how much is the cost. it is ten days there is no call from him or the cal centre.trying to find the website if onida tv .there happens to be none.

          Sir,
          I have bought ONIDA washing machine Model No.60FS, and my warranty period was expired on 27/11/09, on 09.01.2010, there was a problem in my washing machine( water was not comming inside the machine), Technician named Mr.Vijayakumar came and rectified the problem and charged Rs.300/-, and the bill no is 7010/09.01.2010,it worked for 20 days only and received the same problem i made the complaint no s [protected], when he came he said that some water socket has gone and it has to be replaced at free of cost, but he was not having the stock, from that day onwards the problem started for me, till date the problem has not been rectified for me, now last 08th onwards the machine is not working for me.

          When i called up for the Adonis , they asked me to lodge the complaint to customer care, my conplaint no is:[protected], which was attended by Balaji, he said that he will sent the technician, and one Mr.Arunkumar reached my place on last saturday and he too repeated the same thing that he is not having the stock he will replace it on Monday, till now no one visited my place.

          Again I made a complaint on 15th No:[protected], there Ms.Saranya gave me local no. in Ambattur, when i called him , he said that he started the service centrejust 4 days before, all the old details has been kept in Padi and ifnhe has to sent the technician i have to pay again Rs.300/- only thenhe will send the person, i gave this message to your customer care person Mr.Balaji, he gave Adonis Branch Manager, Mr.John Vargees No: [protected] [protected], who never came on the line , only today he came on the line and said that he has taken position only ten days before he doesnt know any old details,and its is mere waste to call him, I specifically asked him again is it mere waste to call him he again repeated the same answer. He asked me to go for the person to whom i paid the bill amount of Rs.300/-, I again called Mr.Vijaykumar, he immediately took the call and said that he has resighned the job.

          I passed this message to your customer care people Mr.Rajan, he said he will send the technician today, but till now not even a single person has turned up. Just now i read the complaints about the company AdonisElectronis all over in Tamilnadu, no one is satisfied with this company, why do you keep such company has your service centre, They are spoiling your name. do you want this to continue?

          I always go for ONIDA company, in my residence i have my lcd TV, Air condition, Washing machine all Onida only. Is it my fate that i went for Onida Washing Machine. Really poor Service.

          Please sir take some immediate action against these people. Waiting for your necessary action

            The TV has problem. Contacted ONIDA website. Onide service person contacted. Suggested to go for EWC for 2 years which will take care of component replacement. Charged Rs. 2450 (Against Broachure charges of Rs. 1350)It was mentioned the charges has been revised. Contacted on web sire for charges confirmation. Received confrimation for Rs. 1350. communicated online about the higher charges. Received confirmation that component charges are 1100 & hence it has been charged Rs. 2450.


            Additional Economic charges Rs. 1100

            Refund the charges / How the company was support this behaviour by their authorised service centre. Need to ensure this does not happen to any body in future.

              I have bought ONIDA TV - Ultra Slim on October 2009. When i switched on the TV in the first time itself there are blue line coming in the TV. I did a complient to the Shop M/s. Vasanth & Co. Trichy. They sent a service engineer from ONIDA. He said there were some loose connection. He did something and the TV works fine.

              After couple of days the blue line started coming. I complined to the ONIDA service center at TRICHY. A service engineer came and and told me that there was some problem in the TV Mother Board and asked me to get the TV to the Service Center.

              I hand over the TV to the service center on January 2010. They had it for monitor about 3 weeks. And then they returned to me and said the TV was working fine.

              Taken the TV to home and i got the Blue lines when i switched on. This i feel Ridicules and informed them. They asked me to return the TV to the Service center and said the mother board having problem.

              And they confirmed me that either they will change the mother board or replace the TV within a week. Now its more than a month (15-March-2010 i returned the TV) and till date i didn't get the repaired TV or a replacement.

              Kindly suggest on this.

                We had purchased an onida ac in april 2008.This season when i called an ac person to do the servicing, i was informed by him that the compressor was getting heated up very quickly and hence would trip and it was on the verge of conking off.He did not do the servicing and asked me to call the company people.I did so about 15 days back.Their person came last to last saturday and checked.He said that the compressor would have to be changed.After that we kept calling and they kept giving excuses that the compressor would be coming from bombay.Last friday when i told them that i was going to register a complaint with the consumer court they told me that they would send someone the next day to check the ac once again.That was a week ago, noone has come since then.Their intentions are very clear.Am tired of calling them again and again.Hence am filing a complaint against them.They have to change the compressor as the warranty period for it is 5 years.

                  for wat reason bloody shop owner gave us Guarantee for one year....now shop owner says plastic parts r not under Guarantee scheme....he is ther only personn suggested for Plastic body washing machine better than ms body....its been hardly 6 months old.....so cheap quality product Onida makes i cnt Believe it....if my Base is not changed witout any coast i will take trhis case to Cosumer forum court....

SINCE THE BEGINING OF THE PURCHASED FROM THE FIRST MONTH THIS WASHING MACHINE IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY. WE START THE MACHINE AND AFTER RUNNING TEN MINUTES IT STOPS AND RESTARTS AGAIN AFTER 10 MINUTES AND LIKE THIS OUR CLOTHES DAMAGED DUE TO TEN MINUTES OF THE STOP OF MACHINE.                       I had bought a onida hand set (v140) at a retail store at New Sanghvi on 13/03/2010. From the very next day I see the mobile had problems with the battery.

                      I had been to the mobile store and their service center in chinchwad but I could not find any good response. They made me run behind them, finally gives me the hand set saying that it is done and the same problem is seen again. I got vexed with the response and would like to log a complaint. Request you to help me with the suggestions for the action taken.
                      And request you to not to allow such bad companies run their mobiles in the markets troubling the customers.

                      My mobile even today(10/04/2010) is in a dead state.

                      Please let me know with the further action to be taken.

                        About 5-6 days before I had purchased a microwave oven from Big Bazaar ,
                        Malleshwaram , B'lore .

                        The suppliers told me that they will send somebody for a demo of the microwave oven
                        in24 hours , but they did not come .

                        I contacted the managers of big bazaar and also of onida to file a complaint against this ,
                        but , they just kept on telling that they will send someone to show the demo of the oven and no one came .

                        I would please request you to send someone for the demo as soon as possible .

                          My ONIDA TV suddenly in March, 2010 went blank and the service engineer (from ONIDA Service centre, Ratnagiri) ) came to our house and replace parts from the TV & take Rs. 950/- for Rs.450/- service charge & Rs.500/- Charge for parts.But that person yet not give me proper bill of Rs. 950/-

                          I had complained about my Onida TV 29" Flat 15 March 2010, complaint no. R/03/347. Now after 25 days of the complaint, i feel like cheated, insulted.

                          Nature of Complaint : Reparing of TV

                          History
                          I had bought Onida 29" Flat TV in November 2009 from Maharaja Trading Co, Ratnagiri. After some times it closed display completely.
                          Regarding this we registered compliant in the customer service at Ratnagiri. (Compliant numbers: R/03/347 dt. 15/03/2010 & R/04/16 dt. 07/04/2010).

                          One Gentle from customer service came, by accidently in Night 10 pm & doing something then tv start & he takes Rs. 950/- for Rs. 500/- for parts & Rs.450/- for service charge but yet give me proper bill.

                          After that we used regularly but on 7th again creat problem & no one come for repairing. your service center is third class level.

                          I am really fed up of calling Service Engineer again & again.

                          Now I am humbly request Onida Authority to step in and take the quick, sharp & necessary action to rectify my TV problems.
                          Then I had one more request to onida please keep some able persons in prime areas. (At least who can speak in politely) in customer service as relation ship managers.

                          I hope ONIDA will try it's best to maintain the customer faith & esteem. Otherwise I need to drop Onida from my mind.

                            Water is leaking from the spilitA/C into the room. The a/c is not effective even when fixed at 20degree.

                                ONIDA/AC — Water Dripping New AC

                                Dear sir

                                I bought this month an ONIDA AC(5 star)::::with 24000 something hot cash installed at my house on 9th june 2011 after lot of struggle. fewdays after installation it is noticed dripping water. and i have complaint and registered. No body attended.i bought by cash. I living with small children. now almost 6 days after the complaints registered nobody is responded. my complaint number [protected]. Atleast for courtesy no call has been made. toll free no also not working. std calls have been charged. I am spending money on calling this number [protected], [protected](Just Music heard lost phone call), [protected](Keep ringing).                                     Poor ONIDA AC service at Nagpur.
                                    HI EVERYONE

                                    I would like to updates the entire consumer who is reading this complaint below.

                                    I have purchase ONIDA 1.0 Split AC in 18th March 2009, it took me to reach ONIDA office for complaints around 03.04.2009 because all ONIDA employees are very busy. After purchasing just in 5 days the Gas was leaked out. I have called the dealer he did something and again it started, after a month again the gas was leaked out I have complaint with ONIDA.
                                    Frankly speaking Customer Care for ONIDA is really very hopeless, I think in India still BIG companies don’t even know the how to run customer service station.

                                    I called at Mumbai office at[protected]., this person which is here is just to logged the complaints and give docket no, means like a postmaster. After long discussion and many requests he gave me the following nos.
                                    1. Nagpur Office No.:[protected].
                                    2. Mr.Gautam :- [protected]
                                    3. Mr.Sanjay Marsetwar: [protected]
                                    4. Mr.Shekhar Dev: [protected].

                                    I would like to tell you the discussion with them one by one
                                    Person No.1 Lady working with ONIDA Ms.Varsha can pick your phone but she may keep at any moment since busy in chatting with other frnds. Not even able to customer complaints no follow up. You can not expect a single help from her. Really very poor service.
                                    Person No2. Mr.Gautam he was out of order since long time, if you call in his no, definitely he will not pick the phone, it may either busy in chatting or might be taking rest before 1st half even on Saturday as a working day. ONIDA really having a gem employee like this who might be enjoying weekend from morning itself. Even after more than 50 rings he did not picked the phone. ONIDA must send these kind of person for long leave other may have bad name for CC in India soon.
                                    Person No. 3. Mr.Sanjay Marsetwar, I think being head of Nagpur region he is only guy who is working, ya sure why not when all are sleeping he is only who is alive and picked the phone. Mr.Sanjay is really very busy in his work and he is not able to listen to customers, he don’t even feel shame in telling his customer that I am busy with some other work. If the person is busy in meeting or even some job either he may switch off his mobile or put a word that will call you back or any reason. Mr.Sanjay seems to be a man of paper only. As he told me that my AC had completed its 1st birthday before some days back and does not comes under warranty. I think he is only person for warranty and but NO GARUNTEE that he can do anything rather then telling that he is Busy n Busy. ONIDA Company must give him a Medal for giving such a nice treatment to customers.

                                    Person no 4 Mr Shekhar Dev is the only person which who is really ready to listen to customer, since he has been posted at Akola(Part of Vidharbha) he asked for complaint no and finally given me a call to state that he can do anything.

                                    Dear reader just imagine we purchase the goods from the market and we used it, if any item is having some manufacturing defect then company must look into this matter, it must be get solved, company like ONIDA is there for sale, Support is ZERO.

                                    If some from ONIDA is reading this complaint please look into this matter immediately my complaint no is [protected] dated[protected].

                                    I am really fedup with the service of ONIDA AC, so reader and consumer who is about to buy new AC in the scorching heat in this summer, please buy some other brand but do not go with ONIDA at any cost otherwise you will a sufferer like me.

                                    For refilling of Gas in AC ONIDA is about to charge me Rs.1380/- and cost of AC is Just Rs19500/- and more than 4 time if you have to do same job then for an year it will cost you Rs.5520/- means in four year you will spend the same amount nr about Rs.20,000/- towards maintenance really great logic the company kept for customers.

                                    So Once again sincere appeal to all New person who wants to purchase the AC please stay away from ONIDA and go ahead with Hitachi, Samsung, or may be with LG.

                                    I am going to lodge a complaint to consumer court against ONIDA soon, still we are in India, we are not in Pakistan. What I feel there is no difference between the weapons which are coming to India from Pakistan and ONIDA AC selling in India market, 1st is illegal and 2nd is just like 1st but in legal way. Hope you got it what I mean to say.

                                    STOP HERE AND AFTER READING THIS ENTIRE STORY PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE ONDIA AC…………. OTHERWISE YOU WILL LIKE ME TO WRITE WHAT I HAD WRITTEN AND I MAY READ YOUR SAME COMPLAINT ON THIS WEB.

                                      I have bought the above mentioned TV on 22.10.2006 from the Sree Raja Rajeshwari Home appliances Gokul 2nd phase Bangalore 54.......since the purchase of the above TV we are constantly facing the picture and audio malfunctioning related problems and we have already get that repaired 4 times in 3 years....every time the company technician charges more for the components he install,but after that also the above problem reappear in 3-4 months,we have already paid half of the price of the TV on repair......i aspect u take the above complaint into consideration and take the appropriate steps....

                                      Onida igo television — complaint about your technician

                                      On 3rd of oct your television technician had came to repair my IGO television.He came to repair the colour tube after changing some of the part it was fine but after the 10 min of his leave the tv screen remain the same as before. your's techhnician's name is Sachin Joshi. please see to it very soon
