I tried to book the hotel in oyo website, after my hotel selection, it gave me options to pay either in full or 25% to reserve. I opted to pay 25% and did the payment through paytm. After the payment, i got the message with an increased price which is wrong. I immediately tried to reach customer care to find the reason, after talking to multiple people for more than 3 hours, they continuously said their senior will resolve the issue. After multiple follow ups, i was able to talk to senior and non of them dont have patience to understand the issue and dont know their application ask me to pay the extra amount, if i am not paying extra, they will not refund the amount. I really felt oyo is cheating big time, initially they show one price and after paying the initial amount, they change the price to pay extra, if you are not paying you need to be ready to loose the money which you paid. Customer care people are very rough and i felt they dont care for customers. I tried to reach oyo excalation through email, sent multiple reminders but so far no one responsed. I waited 2 weeks for their resonse before writing this post. I have all the discussions evidences with customer care department including timelines. I had very bad experience with oyo and i will never do business with oyo anymore. I will start persuing option of consumer court.

I didnt receive any communication for my multiple follow up which shows either you are not interested in resolving the complaint and you are accepting the fault. I am really upset with OYO service and I am inclined to belive that you are cheating customers as many others complained in multiple forums. I see lot of dissatisfaction across customers and increasing it day by day. As you are in hospitality business, customer satisfaction is the key factor for success which you are ignoring.
