I booked OYO room on 18/8/19 for the same day in a nearby location (Booking ID: AKQP0718). But after booking and online payment, the property was far away at approx.1:30 hours travel distance. I contacted the customer care and raised a complaint regarding the same. They told the money will be refunded in 7 to 14 days. But the money is not yet refunded even after 22 days. I contacted them again and again through e-mail and customer care number: [protected] they neither guide me properly nor provide my refund. In the last few days, they all put my call on hold for more than 15 minutes then cut call by himself.
Kindly solve my issue as soon as possible.

    I booked a hotel and paid the payment online. but when i reached hotel Hotel manager says he has not received the amount in his e-wallet. time was 1 of night. and it was a brutal area.
    i talked to oyo concern person, they said we will refund the amount . i got the amount refund but faced a lot that night. at last i had to book a taxi from hotel to my home and it was night period.

    who will pay the incontinence cost caused to me and my friend ?
    Why we people suffer due to unorganized management of such company.

    i want a PENALTY amount charge on OYO so it wont happen in future.

      Booking id muaf 2819, 3 rooms booked through oyo in hotel sagar jamshedpur for period 28th june 19 to 30th june 19. Amount paid rs. 13124.
      Booking was in the name of narendra prasad, mobile no. [protected], email [protected]@gmai.com.
      When the team was on the way to reach jamshedpur, a phone call received from hotel sagar jamshedpur that due to unavoidable circumstances, the booking had been cancelled. The booking amount would be refunded in same account.
      No refund till date.
      Several times contacted to customer care oyo assist & directly. There representative talks but no refund has been made till date.
      May kindly intervene & do the needful

        I booked the three rooms in hotel sagar, jamshedpur through oyo for period 28th june 19 to 30 th 19 in the name of narendra pd paying an amount of rs. 13124 under booking id muaf 2819. But, before arrival to jamshedpur, hotel jamshedpur rang to sh narendra pd on his mobile no.[protected] that due to unavoidable circumstances, rooms were not available and booking amount would be refunded to same account.
        No refund till date.
        Several calls through oyo assist & to direct customer care of oyo made but no result till date.
        Pl do the needful urgently.

          I had done booking for 14th september 2019, in hotel sunrose maharaja, for which i had paid online payment in full. After the booking i was given the phone no of the said hotel. When i called the said hotel, the hotel told me that they don’t deal with oyo rooms and the oyo room has defrauded you. On contacting oyo room, the oyo room was not able to give any satisfactory answer regarding, that they are showing hotels on oyo rooms which are not part of oyo rooms. After wasting 2 hours on phone, money and facing hardship of not getting the booking, i asked for refund directly in my bank account. The executive assured me that the entire refund amount will be directly refunded in my bank account. The executive also told me that after the call, there will be a link shared to me, wherein i will have to confirm my bank account but i did not receive any link after the call, instead i received a message stating that i have requested to cancel the booking and the amount of rs. 100 has also been deducted for that. The message also indicated that the amount will be refunded within 7 days. I have urgency on 14-15 in boisar and because of oyo rooms i am facing a lot of hardship. My booking, my money all is lost. I needed urgent refund of the entire amount of booking, so that i can book another hotel, but instead neither money nor any other hotel was provided by oyo rooms. Oyo rooms are defrauding people by doing unfair trade practice and also have deficiency in service. Please take strict actions against oyo rooms and get me my refund of rs. 12, 000 with compensation of hardship.

            I had stayed in property of oyo life called oyo life hongasandra (Blr994) for around 10 months starting from october 2018 to 9th august 2019. I had checked out of the property on 9th august 2019. I had paid an initial deposit of 28000rs. I was the initial customers of oyo life who were required to pay a deposit of two months rent. I had served a notice period as asked by them from july 8th to august 8th. I had requested for an extension for which i did not get any reply so i had to check out on 9th. Now they are not even responding back. Ones when i called they said i had paid a deposit of 14000 not 28000 rs. I have all the proofs in which their own employer stated that he has received the deposit of 28000. I am a working individual and cannot afford to lose that amount of money. I seek the help of indian consumer complaints forum to post my complaint.

            Now it's been 25 days plus and they have not paid my required deposit back, while the time period stated by company to provide deposit back is around 7 to 14 days.. Whenever i call their customer care they will tell i will get a response within 2 working days, which unfortunately has never occurred. I have been emailing them and calling them almost twice every third day, but there is no response. I have followed all the guidelines prescribed by them, but there is no proper reply.

            Was it my mistake that i trusted oyo life when it was in its nascent stage? Was it my mistake that i referred many people for oyo life. Every time i call them they said there financial team will get back on this. I don't know where their technical team resides, it's been days. Dear oyo, i had huge respect for you, now it seems to be not. I am writing this complaint to warn all future customers of oyo life against this scam. If possible return my deposit money back after cutting the required amount. If you can do this for the customer who stayed so long? How will we ever trust you back?

            Thank you for listening to my concerns, Thank you consumer forum for helping me out. I had stayed for 11 months in oyo life, I was feeling to join again, but due to such behaviours, I am quite afraid now. I have recieved my money today. I am closing this complaint. I think oyo will reach heights if it takes care of its customers a bit well.

              I had booked room on 6 april 2019 for four nights check-in date 1 sep 2019 viz booking id szlj8531.
              I made full payment of rs.17, 572 on 15 august 2019.

              On arrival to the hotel, the manager rejected to check us in as he said they are not dealing with oyo. I contacted oyo frantically for 2 hours but did not get proper response. Finally they agreed to cancel my booking and process my refund as the manager did not obliged to their request.

              But shockingly i found that they have deducted 4393 as cancellation charges.

              I spoke with oyo captain vighnesh and he assured me of full refund as obviously, it was not my fault. Oyo was unable to honour their booking. But after that, i tried to contact vighnesh many times but he did not respond.

              I am filing complaint in district consumer court now.

                  HI Sir, my name is sivareddy and I have booked a room in OYO rooms on (ALFA palace )03/09/19 with amount of 450 rs and i done online payment and i reached hotel, but they didn't allowed me because there is a water problem in their hotel.. after that i called oyo customer care and they booked hotel (3 star guest house )for me using same booking id JRXY3924 and they told i no need to pay any amount and i reached hotel but the hotel owner said they didnt received any amount from OYO. so i paid again 650 rupees for hotel and cab charges from first hotel to 2nd hotel 168rs.. i called oyo customer care for refunding of my 650+168 total 818 rupees but they are not responding they are disconnecting my call ..please help me to refund my money..

                    On September 2nd i booked a hotel OYO 28393 Diamond Plaza with booking ID "TDAP0312"and there i paid "638 rupees" and when i entered my room the bed sheets, pillow and blanket were dirty and there were marks of grease and dirt on it, then i asked the manager of that oyo to refund my money as i didn't like the service and he told me to talk to oyo customer service.
                    I called in the oyo helpline and they connected my call to the manager there, she told me that i'll get the full refund and i don't have to pay for the hotel they'll shift me into.
                    I called them several times and they always put my call o hold for more than 20-30 mins, then finally i reached the nearby hotel OYO Flagship 439 Krishna Living, when i called OYO helpline there they first told me that there are no free rooms in that hotel and when i asked the manager there personally, he told me they have vacant rooms as i was already there i told the helpline and he was denying for long time and even they were asking me for the images to send them as a proof, but i didn't took any pics, it was already late in the night.
                    Later finally manager told me that he has confirmed from OYO and i'll get shifted but he asked me to Pay the defence amount of 340 rupees, as it was already 11 in the night i paid them.
                    After shifting the manager kept calling me that the payment from the previous OYO Hotel was not updated and he was disturbing me again and again for that and after sometime he asked me to pay 295 Rupees again.
                    It was already 12 in the night and i has such a bad experience at the hotel.
                    Now i have totally paid 638+340+295 = 1273 Rupees.
                    And now when i'm calling OYO Helpline they are holding my calls for long and cutting my call.
                    I'm having such a bad experience from OYO Hotel Chain and i want my money back.

                      Booking pnr for hotel under this package - xlps6104.
                      As the hotel provided under the package was pathetic. Dirty beds with bed bugs, no hygiene in bath room, no response from hotel staff, i have reached out to package support team for shifting the hotel. I was ready to pay any extra charges for shifting/upgrading the hotel, but there was no response from package relationship managers. After waiting for around 3 hours i shifted to a non oyo hotel on my own expense. As there was no help provided by the team on next day as well, i had to continue the entire trip in non oyo hotel on my own expense. Please help in getting refund for hotel charges i had to bear.

                      I booked oyo for Rs.700, then at night time when i arrived at hotel, they said talk to oyo, we'll give room at Rs.1500 only. Just to make money, he fools general public.
                      I booked hotel through OYO rooms and paid full amount also but hotel management denied my check in due to couple entry issue while app didnt show any restrictions.I called OYO help desk, oyo help desk also not responded.i called them so many times but no respond from them i waited for two hours outside of hotel.

                        On 9th of september, 2019 i had a confirmed booking through oyo for hotel mandar queen retreat in mandarmani.

                        At 10:30am on the day of check in the hotel called to inform me that i should find a different hotel as they will cancel my booking.

                        I immediately called oyo to get assistance for accommodation in a different hotel. After several attempts and 2.5hr of waiting and false assurance that they are trying to help me out, i was told that they are having some issue regarding properties and i must find a hotel myself.

                        They just refunded me my booking amount and offered a token amount in oyo wallet as a apology.

                        I was roaming around with my mother in the rented car for 2.5hrs, had to pay the car 500rs more plus book a hotel for 1400rs.

                        I asked for extra refund from oyo for all these inconveniences but they were just apologising and telling as per policy they cant do anything.

                          I want to file a hard complain because it's been a month since i submitted a refund and my money hasn't returned until today

                          Filing a refund on august 7, 2019, with replies it will take 7 - 14 days to process. After 14 days of no progress whatsoever, until now it has passed the initial agreement limit.
                          I call oyo indonesia call center on august 29, 2019 and they're said i submit a refund on august 23, 2019 and will take 7 - 14 days to process again. How do you want to submit a refund on august 23, 2019, if i stay on august 16, 2019? Oke i'm waiting 14th days until my money return, but today it hasn't returned either. So i call again oyo indonesia call center and they're said is still being process.

                          I want my money back tomorrow at the earliest because if not returned, i will report to the police so that the oyo operating license in indonesia is revoked

                            I came here at 08:30 hour and hotel receptionist asked me for early checkin charge amounting rs 300 and i agree for that and at 08:45 he allot me room no 306.

                            When i i enter the room the rooom was undirty and used room as someone is just checked it out from the room.
                            They give used room to the customer and upon this they argue with the customer.
                            Totall a # hotel receptionist.
                            Aftet calling again and again he finally gave me a room at 09:15 hours... For 45 min he took from me early check in charge of rs 300 after his mistake only..

                            Totall a # guy and a worst property!!!

                              Dear madam / sir,
                              I booked oyo 47854 star inn for 8-9 september 2019 and it is confirmed. When reached in the hotel, the hotel management informed no room is booked in my name. I am moving like mad in new delhi.

                              What type of behaviour of a very good hotel chain? I could not understand in what language will i address you? Please do not harsh people like this.

                              I am thinking to file a case against the oyo after returning to bhubaneswar and release some message to press.

                              As per the mail and phone discussion with the OYO team, I am supposed to receive an amount of 4659 rupees. It's been more than 30 working days and still, there is no update on that. Attaching the relevant screenshot for the same.

                                My booking id no : tfjb1796 i booked a hotel room at varanasi for 1 day on 8th september 2019 on the same day morning i received a link asking me to make online payment of rs.806/- and i made the online payment and to my surprise when i reached the hotel the manager told me that online payments are not entertained. I contacted the helpdesk of oyo rooms raising the issue the customer service executive told me that they will make a fresh reservation and i have to wait for my refund i was not okay with this option i asked her to transfer the amount to hotel person as i have already paid the amount, she said the issue will be raised to a senior executive and gave a mob no: [protected] and when i rang to this number i received a horrific response from that executive when i asked him should i recite my booking id he told me"stupid lady cut the call" i was shocked to the core by this response. I again tried calling this number several times asking them to retrieve the recording of that call but no further action was taken, and i stood in the middle of the road will all my packages and hoping that oyo rooms will somehow resolve this issue but all my efforts went in vain. I would like to request oyo rooms administration first not get into customer or rather reach teach ur customer service executives how to support a customer, i would sincerely suggest public (Specially women) not to make any bookings from such a concern which has no respect for a customer and is bothered only about their commission.

                                I could even forgive the incident that happened in hotel, but the way the customer service executive handled my query made me feel like I was harassed which resulted in huge amount of stress and depression and I definitely need a compensation for that.

                                I was just enquired about the incident and nothing else was communicated over the call, I still don't have an idea of what action has been taken against the OYO employee who spoke to me in that inappropriate manner. After being through so much of trauma I definitely need a compensation for harassment from OYO Rooms

                                  Hi team,

                                  I am karan beri and have booked from oyo rooms for my booking for udaipur and mount abu trip. I had done 5 booking having different booking id.in all the booking id they entered no of guests as 2 instead of 3 and name was also not written correctly. As a result of this now i am in middle of the trip and is have no option left to cancel the booking.

                                    Kindly cross check n process refund for my booking id fjud3260

                                    I had never requested for cancellation your person or your system had cancelled the booking n intiated zero refund.
                                    Due to which we had to face a lot of problem to find a new hotel in a city to which we were a total stranger and our trip had also got spoiled and since evening we were hunting for a new hotel till late night.

                                    I did not face such an issue by make my trip n goibibo but this time oyo app dis appointed me by doing this without having sny courtesy for the tourist who are travelling to the new city.

                                    Oyo has worst customer support team

                                      Oyo room have been upgraded to other without any prior information. Room was not at all clean.ac was not working, bed sheet was stained. There was no towel in toilet also. Previously, i booked oyo rooms with same rate. There service was much better.

                                      There was 1 chair in double room. Overall i am not satisfied with the oyo room service. Kindly look into this matter.
