I had done booking for 14th september 2019, in hotel sunrose maharaja, for which i had paid online payment in full. After the booking i was given the phone no of the said hotel. When i called the said hotel, the hotel told me that they don’t deal with oyo rooms and the oyo room has defrauded you. On contacting oyo room, the oyo room was not able to give any satisfactory answer regarding, that they are showing hotels on oyo rooms which are not part of oyo rooms. After wasting 2 hours on phone, money and facing hardship of not getting the booking, i asked for refund directly in my bank account. The executive assured me that the entire refund amount will be directly refunded in my bank account. The executive also told me that after the call, there will be a link shared to me, wherein i will have to confirm my bank account but i did not receive any link after the call, instead i received a message stating that i have requested to cancel the booking and the amount of rs. 100 has also been deducted for that. The message also indicated that the amount will be refunded within 7 days. I have urgency on 14-15 in boisar and because of oyo rooms i am facing a lot of hardship. My booking, my money all is lost. I needed urgent refund of the entire amount of booking, so that i can book another hotel, but instead neither money nor any other hotel was provided by oyo rooms. Oyo rooms are defrauding people by doing unfair trade practice and also have deficiency in service. Please take strict actions against oyo rooms and get me my refund of rs. 12, 000 with compensation of hardship.
