I was denied check in by the hotel authorities stating no tie up with oyo since a month. When i called oyo service immediately they didn't process the refund stating no ground staff available and i was required to call back the next day. When called back i was told the room was cancelled as per my request and the refund processed will be 7 to 14 working days. The agent spoke very inappropriatly and denied to escalate the call even after repeated request. Oyo failed to provide timely solution to repair the damages i had to suffer because of their negligence. Late night i had to hunt for alternate room with my family. Very disappointed with the services my ask is should a customer suffer and wait for a period for 14 days for their mistake?

    Dear sir/ ma, am
    I have booked oyo room at bodhgaya vide booking id yamj7512 from 18/09/2019 to 22/09/2019, paying entire due / rent in advance. But while check-in at hotel they denied mentioning they ave some issue with oyo so check-in only allowed if we pay the rent in cash at hotel. We discussed the issue with oyo team and they told me to make payment in cash at hotel and oyo will refund the money paid at hotel after check out.
    After check out i mailed the invoice to oyo escalates and after long waiting and discussion over phone they have initiated refund of rs. 8876/- on 23/9/2019 of the amount i paid in cash at hotel. They also assured that with in 48 hours i will receive confirmation of approval from central team. And amount will we refunded with in 7-14 days.
    But the status of refund as per oyo app it is still pending for approval even after laps of 6 days.
    When i called to oyo they refused to transfer my call to senior executives saying the window in closed for my account. And again said the amount will be credited in my account with in 7-14 days from the date of approval (Which is still pending at central level).

    This is classic example of pathetic customer service and harassment of customer.

    Under such a circumstances why should any one refer and use oyo.

      I booked hotel city heart in haridwar for which i paid online rs.613 but hotel manager denied to check in, then i was asked by oyo executive to go to hotel alpine where he told me to pay in cash and told me that my money will be refunded, i was asked by hotel alpine manager to pay rs. 1065 which i paid in cash. But now your team is denying to give my rs. 1065 back.

        I had booked an oyo id seqh3421 and had paid in advance, but when i went to the property they told me they were shutting down, when i asked customer care to shift it, they made a fresh booking and didn’t adjust my money and promised that it would get back in my account and also i will receive a ticket but nothing. I called them 3-4 times spoke to the customer care executive stayed on call for 30 mins mailed them but no response.

          We had booked hotel thru oyo as per our budget n made online payment prior 15 days for gaya bihar. Then we started getting msgs that we have shifted ur hotel to some other hotel 4 times that too out of our budget. We had conversation with the executives they made sure that this would not happen again when we asked reason behind shifting they said rooms are not available i want to know of the rooms r not available y r u asking us ro make online payment for booking. Once the booking is done y r u changing our stay that too 4 times without our concern n over budget. At last we made humble request to the executive that next day we are leaving plz don not change n where they arranged our stay was never expected by such do called sevice provider. Next time we will never book through oyo n recommend anyone such a bad experience highly disqppointed by oyo.

            I booked one homestay in mysore.
            But they denied saying online booking is not possible. But i had paid 657 from google pay.
            Then i cancelled booking.
            When i try to raise refund request. It's saying it is denied. What is this?
            Really disappointed with oyo.
            If i call them they will say. Refund will initate in evening. But when i try to raise ticket. It's showing. Denied.

              I booked 5 hotels in andman on oyo rooms for my vacation.
              Booking ids are:
              1. Kuhi5192
              2. West7953
              3. Tezj2815
              4. Xahe8541
              5. Kbic1408

              Hotel with booking id. 1, 2, 3, 5 doesn't exist at their location. We hardly found hotel with id. 4. They said they don't accept oyo and we'll have to pay.

              Even i talked to 15+ people there about oyo booking and everyone said noone accepts oyo in andman. I even personally didn't find any oyo there.

              I roamed around 1 hour for each hotel, first in search of hotel and second to book some other hotel.

              I paid around 4000/- to oyo rooms for booking these non-existing rooms and then i paid around 6000/- to book another rooms.
              I talked to oyo customer care for compensation, all of them were very rude and as a compensation they gave me 500/- rupees coupon which can be used to book oyo rooms.

                As on 20th september 2019 at around 10:40pm (Late night), i was booking for 2 rooms for 3 persons on oyo for period 21 september - 23 september, but by mistake it was booked for period 20 september -22 september (Booking id:
                And also done the online payment for the same.

                I realised the mistake and i called to oyo customer care at around 11:20pm (Late night) to request to change my booking period to 21-22 september.

                Customer care executive has listen my concern and transferred my call to their guest experience manager (Ms kiran_457427_tm).

                Ms kiran_457427_tm (The guest experience manager) has confirmed me that modification of booking period is not possible. Further she informed me to make another fresh booking for the required period (I. E. For period of 21-23 september) and make the online payment then call to oyo customer care and share your both the booking details. Our executive will initiate the cancellation for the previous booking (Booking id: abye7641) as well as will process the refund of whole booking amount without any deduction.

                I disconnected the call, immediately done another booking with the same details for the period of 21-23 september and made the payment as well against the booking id :mgey9563.

                Again i called to oyo customer care, at around 12:05am midnight (21-sep-2019) and provided the details of both the booking and requested him to initiate the cancellation and refund of my whole booking amount of booking id :abye7641. He assured me that, he is initiating the cancellation & refund for booking id :abye7641 and will get a confirmation call from oyo.

                Later on in the morning (21-sep-2019) i got a call from oyo and executive has informed me that, as per oyo policy no refund is possible for booking id : abye7641.

                Again at around 3:30pm i got another call from mr jaikishan mishra (41317_tm), who has listen my concern and also assured me that the needful will be done. He has also confirmed me that he is escalating this case to concern team and team will check and audit the recording of telephonic discussion and will provide me solution as per the commitment done by oyo guest experience manager on phone.

                After that i called many times to oyo customer care and even i received multiple calls from oyo executives, but every time oyo executives are saying me that 'sir you have already checked-in to hotel and also checked out on 22-sep-2019, so refund is not possible as you have already stayed in hotel, and they are not ready to listen my concern anymore'.

                Even i written multiple mail to oyo escalation department ([protected]@oyoroom.com), but no one even bothered to acknowledge my mail.

                This is the worst experience i have faced during last 7 days with oyo services.

                Now my concern is i want refund of full booking amount (Rs : 3559/-) paid for booking id: abye7641.

                Kindly do the needful regarding the same and refund me my booking amount of rupees 2559/- at the earliest.

                My Booking ID : ABYE7641.

                I am getting calls from OYO and they are talking to me very rudely and unprofessionally also forcing me to use unprofessional language.

                They are not talking about my issue and simply saying that "You have already stayed in Hotel then why you want refund, no refund will be done" .
                But the fact is I have not checked in to
                Hotel.

                If I have already requested to change booking period, immediately after I made this booking, because by mistake it was booked for wrong period. Then how come I visited the Hotel and why?

                If still OYO is rigid on this, they can audit the CCTV footage of hotel.
                As requested many of the times please audit the telephonic discussion between me and OYO Executive during 11:00pm(20-Sep-2019) to 01:00am (21-sep-2019) as well.

                My Complain is regarding Booking ID : ABYE7641.

                Form day one continuesly, again & again I am requesting to OYO Executive to please audit the telephonic conversation between me and OYO Executives ( Ms Kiran and Mr Preetam ) during 11:00pm(20-Sep-2019) to 01:00am (21-sep-2019). Then provide me resolution according to commitment done by your executives.

                You will hear that both of them has clearly confirmed that the 100% booking amount will be refunded to me. Even Mr Preetam has confirmed that the refund process has been already initiated for booking no ABYE7641 and will receive it in around 7 working days which is already over.

                But now you OYO people has started saying a new story that, I have stayed in hotel (means check-in and checked-out done). But as I mentioned earlier that I have not visited the Hotel at all, even not visited to city itself.
                I don't understand, what a rubbish game you OYO people are playing?

                If still you, OYO are rigid on the same, you please audit CCTV footage of Hotel as well.

                Yesterday at around 6:24pm I got a call from Mr Anubandh Srivastava ([protected]).
                He again Confirmed me as similar to Ms Kiran and Mr Preetam that the Refund for booking ID : ABYE7641 of amount of Rs : 3559/- has been initiated now.

                He really spoken with a very polite and good manner.
                I appreciate his way of talking to Customer and the way helping to Customer which will really improve the satisfactory level of OYO towards the customer like me, who got dissatisfied from OYO services.

                Now expecting the earliest resolution regarding the refund for Booking ID : ABYE7641 and refund of my booking amount of rupees 2559/- which is still pending.

                Need confirmation from OYO by when I will my booking amount credited to my Account.

                    Hello,

                    I had booked oyo rooms online through gobibo and when i reached to hotel for checkin, they said we don't have any link with oyo now, then i spoke with the hotel manager, he explained that oyo has not yet paid so much remaining amount to them that's why they have no link with them.

                    They said as you have booked via oyo, we don't allow you to check in.

                    Immediately, i called oyo customer care couple of times, each time they said, we will call you back. But no has called to me yet and refunded my money back.

                    My sincere suggestion is; never trust on oyo booking, otherwise you might suffer like me

                      I had booked a room through the oyo app in the name of soham ghosh for 23rd september, 2019 to 29th september, 2019 at hotel sai darshan (Oyo 29037 hotel sai darshan) in navi mumbai. The booking id is vscj0254. However, on reaching the hotel, they denied me the room and demanded more rs. 6000 (Approx.) to get the room which i had already booked and had already fully paid. Immediately i called the oyo customer service but got no proper service. The oyo customer service after hearing my problem had kept the call waiting for over 25 mins and then they hung up. After repeated calls the oyo customer service had linked my call with another aggrieved customer. More than 2 hours had passed and the hotelier refused to get me checked in without paying the extra amount. Another aggrieved customer (Luckily my colleague) had also booked another room in the same hotel via oyo and was facing the same issue at that time. After a lot of pleading and convincing for more than 3 hours finally i had to pay them rs. 4000 extra even after full booking and i had to share the room with my colleague even though he had a separate room booked for himself but had to cancel that, to refrain from paying the extra amount to the hotelier.in total even after booking and fully paying rs. 5012 for the room, i had to pay rs. 4000 extra, which in total costed me rs. 9012 including harassment.
                      Oyo should be penalized for harassing customers like this. When we are booking a hotel room via oyo, travelling from a different city we expect hassle free service as promised by oyo to its customers. For this harassment and extreme inconvenience i demand full refund of rs. 9012.

                        I booked this hotel in bangalore, we reached the hotel at 2am, at the hotel reception there was a guy who asked for our original id proofs, i told him you can keep a photo copy of them i am not gonna submit original id cards and even if i am submitting what confirmation you are giving me to keep it safe?
                        He directly said you have to submit or you can leave. At 2am this is how oyo treats customer. After we had no option we had to submit out original id cards. We went to the room, no water, super stinky room. Breakfast next day was super bad, felt like vomiting out. During checkout the reception guy kept on forcing you can't leave without giving 5 stars rating to us. I somehow managed to fake a call and got out. Otherwise he would have snatched my mobile and would have rated himself.
                        First of all the service is so pathetic and they force you to give 5 stars.
                        Every time i book an oyo i get more and more bad experiences.

                          As i was there for my interview so usually i just come to hotel for sleep so i shared the problem with hotel nd they said they will change the room... After changing the room still the same problem arises there were bugs all around the bed nd again we cant sleep whole night for the second straight day. I tried to contact oyo but they said due to technical issue they cant help again third day we faced same problem nd for three straight days i cant sleep properly and neither hotel nor oyo helped us out. Now again they changed our room but still same problem is there and we again reached to oyo and this time there senior executive said we should check the hotel before check in... He is such a dumb ass that before check in how can someone go in the room and look for bugs beneath the bed.
                          So according to that fool oyo executive we should before booking the room from oyo firstly we should go to hotel check under the bed whethwr there are bugs or not and then book the hotel. Such a stupid # he is...

                          Now they didn't help us at all and further i have 6 days booking and they arent helping me in any way.
                          Is this how oyo going to treat. If this is the manner then i make sure no one who are close to me books the hotel in the near future by oyo until and unless the senior manager apologies for there unprofessional behaviour and refund our amount.
                          In fact i am in talk with the collegue who would be assisting me to registered complaint against both hotel and oyo.

                          But yes i make sure that atleast 100s of my known will never book though oyo...

                            I had a booking on 30 August in partner with Oyo hotel SSR with booking ID: LVGB5796 and I have paid online amount of INR 1108/-.
                            When I reach hotel at evening for checking so they denied checking saying that they don't accept online payment and need cash for checking so I called the OYO customer case and cancelled my booking and they said my amount will be refunded within 7-14 days and so I waited for 7-14 days and then recalled them so what they said is my refund is cancelled and need to re initiate the process of refund and during this period of 1 month I have already connected with 10-12 people from your OYO customer case and logged so many request and they said the same thing to wait for 7-14 days and nothing happens, it's almost 1 month and I am totally disappointed from this Oyo service and requests you to please provide my refund ASAP, and you OYO Guys are just manipulation people's, and provide the worst service.

                              Hey, i booked an oyo rooms on 12th september 2019, my check in was on 13th september, 2019 i. E. The very next day. So on that particular day my friends have gone to that particular oyo room and enquired the staff of my booked room the staff denied by saying that they no longer support booking made through online. My friends were shocked on his reply and called me, i received his call and asked them to take the staff on the call, so i talked to the hotel staff, he said that their hotel has stopped taking online bookings because of some issues (Issues with oyo), i was wondering about the payment that i made for the stay, the staff replied on that by saying that i will get the refund of the total amount with 7days and no need to worry, so hopelessly my friends booked again using offline process and they took rs.1500 /- (Please note that i already paid rs. 1747/- for the stay) for the stay. After that night passed i tried to contact oyo using their complaint number but they didn't turn up. I also tried to complain through the app but they didn't turn up. So after 13 days i am writing this to oyo rooms for the refund of my money. I have also attached the screenshot of the confirmation showing the amount and booking ids. I have also have the telephonic conversation and video proof of the same.

                                After cancellation, it shows refund amount will be inr 0

                                This is a classic example of software issues and blaming customers for this cheating saying customer that the amount is shown before cancellation. Once customer cancels it, they say cancellation has no refund.

                                I see there are similar issues already logged on the internet. If application shows the refund amount, then why not pay the same since customer made cancellation by trusting whats shown in the app.

                                  I have booked a room through oyo. The hotel denied to agree any booking through oyo. I call oyo they told that they would refund. I have spoke with them on 14th september 2019. I paid around 7099. Till date i have not got the refund. No response. They are just giving false assurance whenever i call them.

                                  I have mail them repeatly about my refund but only one reponse 7-14 working days. After 9 days also they still say 7-14 working days.

                                    I have talked with them in month of may for Thailand package and also deposited Rs 8000/- but unfortunately my package couldn't be booked and we had decided that if I cancel the deal then they would refund my money within 15-20 days.                                       With reference my booking troj7825, we had many discussions on phone and was confirmed that i will be be getting an refund.

                                      Its been more than a month i have not seen my refund, first of all with your louzy services i had to suffer in the night in spite been booked and confirmed by your useless staff. When i reached the hotel they say their is no booking as they have no light, that # didnot even mind us to stay there for 5 min. It was raining heavily. My dispute with you guys is only when these # were aware of that they dont have any backup for power how did your executives made the bookings and kept on calling for reconfirmations, this shows that how inefficient your team is. I have taken an oath that i will never use oyo gain not recommend anyone. Will publish that your guys dont respect customers and cheat them.

                                      Make sure that i need to see my refund in 7 days times else i will post all these in to media and consumer court.

                                        Last week i booked an oyo, (Hotel maharaja palace), i made the booking online and then went for checkin, firstly the receptionist denied the checkin at night 10:00, but then after so much discussion he gave me a room at 11:30, moreover the staff behaviour was so bad they were treating us like we are some beggars. After checkin we found room was so bad that it was smelling, there were cockroaches on the bed, bed sheet was torn, there was so much of hair and blood stains on the bed sheet. After that at 12:30 midnight i had to leave the oyo and then booked another oyo. Next day i get a call from customer care and i explained to the guest experience manager and then he asked for photos and i send that photos, after that no revertal was taken, again next day i get a call from another guest experience manager, then i explained her everything, she then asked me to call back at oyo next day, i called back and customer care put my call on hold for 15 min and no response, this is the way oyo treats its customers. I will soon file a pil if my refund with compensation is not provided, i need not give and explanation to anyone on call now, attached are the photos of that room.
