I have booked for a package few days back through oyo. Package id: th-kacl0712.
The package was agreed at 15000. After paying an initial booking amount they started asking me for a quotation from other companies which should depict a lower price. I informed them that i don't have any quotation over the email and i had a discussion over the phone call with other service providers.
Now they have started asking me a price of 20000. When i asked for a refund since this was not the agreed price in the beginning they have completed denied saying this was a non refundable amount.
My question is if you wanted a quotation from some other company you should have asked before sharing me the final price. Or at least before paying the initial booking amount.

I am planning to go to the consumer court since i have all these conversations documented over the email

    Refer booking id qpdh7531. My phone number is [protected]. Name - sunil edward. I booked hotel ya ali at kazhakkoottam, trivandrum (30/06/2019 to 01/07/2019) effected payment in advance. When i reached with family, after entering my name and address at their book, they told that there is no valid booking in my name. My name was appearing in their system just two minutes back, but now it seems as cancelled. They offered me another room for an higher amount. They took us to their room and insisted to stay in the room so that they can make another booking at higher rate. But i refused and deleted my name in their register clearly specifying that oyo rooms has cancelled my room. I tried to contact the oyo representative over telephone. But was in vain. I and my family tried to contact the representative of oyo and i got them on line at 1.30 pm from my wife's telephone. I narrated the issue. They assured to contact me shortly. They didn't. Finally i took another oyo hotel at trivandrum. Next day i narrated all the issue to the oyo officials. After few hours the oyo officials contacted me and assured me that they have initiated my refund and will receive it within 15 days. After 20 days i contacted them and now they replies that they cannot refund the amount since i occupied a room in that hotel for 5 minutes. Please take necessary action to get my refund.

      I am santosh kharabi from chakan pune. I was tried to book room for 3 nights in capital o 2377 hotel residency, mahabaleshwar. Your website is also accepted my online payment rs.3265/-, but unfortunately there are not available any rooms actual. So, after that i geet one email from oyo like;

        I made payment twice while booking a room eventually ended up booking 2 rooms by mistake. Immediately called oyo helpline, also informed the hotel staff and cancelled the duplicate booking but did not receive refund. I have been waiting for 1 month now, called the customer service multiple times but it was of now use.

        I would have spoken to at least 15 different people, called them 50+ times but they are least bothered. Every time when i asked for manager they denied and also disconnected the call several times.

        When i check my app, it says refund cannot be processed as per policy which is a joke, its a duplicate booking due to multiple transactions and was not booked intentionally. Can someone help me here? Oyo customer service is full of illiterate, useless and filthy people.

        The last person whom i spoke to from OYO customer service and a person named Lokesh from OYO managed to resolve the issue. I received my refund and you can close the ticket. Finally a happy customer. Please bring in changes in your customer service, they do not follow any quality. They are big joke, you will need to sort out the customer service team in order to retain your customers.

          I am aamir khan i booked a oyo rooms in mumbai oyo 7407 hotel blue sea in 17th july. The room is too small or walles are damaged sillings are damaged bathroom are not clean as compared to oyo rooms. Smelly bed sheet and price is 1607 rs. Asking so many times for water then given by staff very disappointed with oyo room of these hotel as compare to price which i given.

            I booked oyo 16391 on 18 july 2019 at 01:08 am.
            At that time app was showing the amount of 746rs only but when i reached at the hotel the app and hotel staff both were showing the anount of 1503rs so i paid 1500rs to the hotel.
            And after that i checked the bill of oyo in that bill they included my lunch and dinner which was not added by me..
            So i called oyo help line num [protected]

            And i told them my concern therefore oyo calling executive cancelled my lunch and dinner plan.
            So now app is showing the amount of 746rs after cancellation meal plan. But hotel staff is not being ready to refund my extra balance which is 754rs and oyo customer care num is also has been blocked for me when i told my concern for many timee. So at this time oyo is also not helping me.

              I had booked oyo 14721 hotel vishesh continental, delhi for 2 nights from 16.7.19 to 18.7.19 vide booking id mnxo3564.
              On 16.7.19, there was electricity supply cut for almost 2 hrs at midnight but hotel employees could not start generator or alternative arrangement even after many requests. We could not get proper sleeping and very purpose of taking hotel to relax was spoiled.
              I have lodged a complaint through oyo customer service helpline vide case i'd 17835486 on 17.7.19 and requested for refund/ concession in tarrif.
              But even after many reminders and calls to oyo call centre no one taken care of complaint and everytime the representative asking the same thing. Many times they put call on hold for long time and no one response. The assistance menu of oyo app doesn't work.
              I have paid full amount while checking out. After the case is appearing resolved without my consultation or any intimation. I am astonished how oyo resloved the issue without replying my call or without any intimation.
              I request for refund of rs.500/- (Half day tarrif) at the earliest, positively within 2 days, otherwise the matter will be taken to higher redressal authority.
              I hope my request will be considered positively.

                I booked rajat residency with oyo booking id no - 15419 on dated 22nd june 2019 bus as i reached the hotel the property manager refused to accept the booking and said our contract with oyo has been ended on 31st may 2019. We board the cab from port blair air port to rajat residency we try to reached out oyo customer care also with complain no[protected] they didn't solve the problem and cut the pby saying that we ll back to you after some time after some time we again reached to customer care with complain no[protected]. But i find the same answer as earlier call and didn't resolve my problem. After 2hrs of intolerant waiting we booked another hotel as the situation become unpleasant. On 28th june i further contact to oyo regarding refund and return status they mail me also that your refund has been initiated and till now i didnt get my refund. Please listen to my complain as i am with my family and we faced very much problem due to this ignorance of oyo. Due to this we face lots of financial burden also as cab waiting charge of rs 1800 and we booked further new hotel as i get to know that oyo will not help us.
                There for i request you to please look up the matter seriously and give me justice.

                    I paid the whole amount for the apartment of ₹13, 800 as soon as i reached goa. They provided me with the code. I went on to look for the place. Whatever the google was telling, we went there. But we found nothing. And i want my money back because i didn't even check in. I wany whole money back. I was so tired. I searched for that place i booked from 1-4. I didn't find it anywhere!!! 🤷 give me back my money!

                      Dear sir

                      Deficiency in service of package-iazd 2893
                      Change of rooms of hotel maa urvishi to rooms of a guest house at badrinath without any prior information

                      With reference to above it is advised that we made prior booking of our entire tour/ yatra well in advance. A confirmation was received to this effect from your office. But i am sorry to state that we were harrased a lot and no service was provided to us. We incurred a cost of rs125960/- for entire group and spared our valuable time which was all wasted by your agency and ground staff mr jagat ram shama.

                      We could not fly to kedar nath because of poor service provided by helicopter agency. There was total miss management and no body was ready to listen. Despite of repeated requests to your ground staff and helicopter agency people we were not allowed to fly whereas people paying cash on the spot were allowed to fly out of turn and our entire day gone waste and all our dreams to visit lord kedar nath dham shattered. This all happened due to poor service provided by you and we had to seek refund of cost of tickets.

                      When we reached sh badrinath dham we reached hotel maa urvishi but we were shocked to know that our booking thereat was cancelled without any prior notice to us fro which we paid rs3550/- per day for 4 rooms and stay there at was for 2 days. We were put to a lot of harrasment and wandered there like a mad cow. Ultimately sh jagat ram sharma your ground staff made arrangements to stay in a poor quality property guest house namely kanchan rupe room of which was not costing more than rs1000/- per day. Ultimately we lost rs20800 (Rs 28800 minus 8000).in this deal

                      Now we request you to refund rs 58800/- (Rs 30000/- for mental agony we faced) all o[censored]s incurred more than rs 170000/- for the entire group without any benefit expect for darshan of lord badri nath that too with poor accomodation below our standards

                      If amount is not refunded to me within a week i shall be forced to lodge complaint against oyo rooms as well as against mr ashish in the consumer form chandigarh or to initiate any other legal action i deem fit and complaint to tourism ministry.

                      We will also be free to give it to press in national papers in letters to editors coloumn

                        I had made a bulk hotel rooms booking with oyo. It was a terrible experience with oyo management. Hotelier and oyo personnel turned deaf to every problem i had faced during my 3 day stay there with close to 100 guests. Lift was not working, so we had to climb 9 floors sometimes. Intercom failed. Electricity was a visitor to the hotel electrical equipments.

                        Major concern now is even after settling the entire billing amount, i have not been provided with gst bill. All the relevant details were provided basis which advance was paid and final settlement was processed. However, as against government of india norms under gst act, 2017, oyo collects gst but does not register such collection in their payable statutory dues. Hence, no gst bill is generated for a customer.

                        Special mention of two people from oyo would be mr. Prasenjit laha and ms. Shatabdi das who were the inventors of confusions between hotelier and myself. They have been at the peak of their unprofessionalism. Threatening my guests by not allowing check-out and asking for more money (Over and above billing amount). They made me feel that they are threats to national security.

                        If you may help so that i can at least hve my invoices for which i have paid.

                        Also, being a start-up oyo should take necessary action against mr. Prasenjit and ms. Shatabdi

                          I booked first hotel, room full of cockroaches, even on bed. So i did not check in.
                          I booked 2nd hotel, they denied check in saying they will no more give rooms to oyo as there payments due for 3 months. My online payment not being refunded, whereas i called oyo representative from reception and informed them of details of denied check in.
                          Customer support puts call on hold and makes me wait for 69 minutes and then disconnect call.
                          Not able to see my booking on app.
                          Completely pathrtic service of oyo.

                            I insatalled oyo app an year or two ago and after using it for i while i don't want to be connected to it. I want to delete my booking history and account as i don't feel like using the app anymore due to privacy concerns, but i am not allowed to delete neither my booking history nor my account permanently. This is a major privacy concern. How can i delete the same?

                              I booked a hotel room from 17th June-18th June @Mahanandini Resorts, Bhilwara under the name of Sanjeev Gupta.
                              By default, a low rate room was booked. When I asked customer executive to upgrade the room to classic category, he told me that they will create a new booking for Classic Rooms and cancelled the existing one and I would get full refund within 7-14 working days. I agreed and paid for new booking also
                              When I called again after few days to enquire the status, the person told that the check-in date has passed and there was no show so some amount would detect.

                              I told him the entire scenario then he created a request-Id : 16862074 on 23June'2019 saying he has escalated the issue and the concerned team will contact me within 24hrs which I haven't received till now.

                              Again after so many attempts and struggling for fewer days my call got escalated to escalation team where I told my issue to the executive and she assured that the refund would initiate within 24hrs, created another request-Id : 16738438 on 3rd July, saying the same thing that I will get my refund within 7-14working days.

                              Again I have tried the same number so many times but there is no outcome. Everytime the staff asks the same question about the problem. What is the use of creating request-Ids if I have to itterate it everytime.

                              Last time I tried the suppory number on 17th July, same as before after iterating the issue three times in a row, one of the executive agreed to divert the call to escalation department but as always the call dropped in between and there was no back call from their side.
                              I also want to complain about the app. Suddenly this booking is not listed in my app, so I can't report anything from app itself.

                              I cant call the support number again and again. First of all getting your call connected to customer care its a matter of luck and if in case it gets connected then after explaining the issue to them the call drops automatically. Do we look like someone who have hours to waste and call your support line to kill time??

                              How this support is helping the customer? So far I have completed almost 100 trips with Oyo but the experience is getting worse and this time is unforgettable.

                              Is there any update...why it is very hard to initiate a refund when the same has been promised earlier? Still there is no update from OYO side.
                              I tried contacting support many times but there is no progress and it seems that the company is not concerned about customer's feedback as well.

                                I booked a room using oyo app and when i reached the hotel, the reception guy asked me to pay 400rs extra from the money mentioned on the app as they cant afford giving me a room at a cheap rate. I tried calling the customer care and oyo assistant, they didn’t receive my call. After waiting for an hour(trying to call them) i booked another hotel from nearby option and payed the room amount using my debit card. I went to the location given on the map to find that there is no hotels or lodge or any sign of the name mentioned on the app. I searched everywhere and asked many people and they told its not the first time someone coming and asking for the same hotel( OYO 44124 peace rooms). The location given on the map is wrong. I tried calling up the customer care but in vain and i had no option but to give up on OYO and i had to find a lodge by myself. I tried calling up the customer care and there was no answer from them. I had a terrible time using OYO amd i am never going to use this app and tell my friends never to use it. I almost wasted 3 hours because the customer care wasn’t answering the call. I cancelled that room within the app and my money was not refunded. I need a refund and please update the location so that another person will not be in trouble again. I need a full refund. Please take this matter into serious consideration as the location is given wrong in the OYO.

                                  This is to inform you that I have booked 2 room for 1 night in OYO Hotel Vedant 29883 for 10th July 19, I got 3 times confirmation for booking via I'd YIOM2589 and full amount was paid at the time of online booking.

                                  While check in on 10 July 19 at Hotel Vedant @12 noon hotel manager refuge to give us room on this booking AMT i.e. 807/- as season has started, you have to pay extra amount for that room around 1800/- for 1 room for a day.

                                  I called 4 times to Guest Service Managers (2 Female & 2 Male Manager) they hold my call everytime half and hours and saying sorry you have to shift in other hotel we will arrange the same but after 3-4 hours didn't get any response...

                                  My 2 year children and family waiting outside the Hotel around 3-4 hours bcz of your pathetic service..

                                  There were 5 rooms available in same Vedant Hotel but not ready to give and asking to pay 1800/- for per room due to tariff are gone high...

                                  In between finally we connected with Mr. Sahil he told me that you have to book another hotel we will reimburse per room 1000/- sub to invoice..

                                  We had started searching rooms in another hotels at Chikhaldara place but due to higher demand not able to find a availability of rooms in any hotels hence again went to Vedant Hotel and urge for give us room as almost evening time has come..

                                  After so many requests Finally the Hotel Manager has ready to give a single room @ 1250/- hence we had booked 2 rooms and paid 2500/-(invoice copy is attached)

                                  We have face many problems while staying at OYO property at Shahapur, Chikhaldar.
                                  There is no sympathy for customer and pathetic services

                                    I had booked hotel for 19th jul at oyo 15136 lodge chikmangalur and paid full amount. When i called nisarga hotel manager he informed that he will not give for oyo has they are not paying them money. I tried to contact oyo but no response from them. I had paid rs 4440/- and it is their mistake for not accommodating us or providing alternative hotel. Now they have cancelled and deducted rs 1950 as cancellation charges which need to be challenged and refund amount is only rs 2490/-

                                      Hi team,

                                      This issue occured on 17th july, 2019, i am travelling to belapur, mumbai on 19th july and 20th july for business purpose with my partner. So i spent an entire day searching an ideal stay which will be closer to his work location in belapur and finally in the evening after i booked my tickets for commute, i went ahead with booking the hotel.
                                      Now my partner has been using oyo for years as he travels a lot, so he knows how to proceed with booking and all, however, this time since on a time crunch, he asked me to book it for us. So in the evening while booking, i did not go to search and booked as where my filter was applied, i quickly booked it from the homepage where the hotel of my choice was appearing right on the front, so i immediately booked and paid off entire amount using amazon pay and confirmed booking.
                                      Later i was going through the confirmation mail, where i was surprised to see that i had booked the hotel for same day i. E for 17th july and not 19th july, so i immediately cancelled it, which was somewhere 17-18 minutes later.
                                      Now i had read the cancellation policy that cancellation within 24 hours prior to check-in is non refundable, but i had already booked incorrectly post the check in hours.
                                      So non of my booking amount was refunded and i spent hours explaining the issue to various advisors, but all were adament and bid by the policy that we will refund only if cancelled within 10 mins, i surely understand the terms and policies, but this was an honest mistake and not any fraudulent breach of policies, i yearned and requested them to just transfer my booking to 19th and 20th, the cost for which was lower than the amount i had paid previously and even agreed to bare the losses, i even requested for a refund for just 50% of the amount, as it was a mistake and i had cancelled it immediately, but they declined all my requests and turned me down.

                                      I am shifting to new city for education purpose and so i had oyo downloaded on my phone so as to book stays for my parents while they are visiting me, but now i am highly dissatisfied with the services and will no longer use or recommend oyo, my partner as well who has been a long term oyo user spoke to advisors regarding this issue, but even he was turned down, so he as well now disapproves of oyo and its services as they are not at all customer oriented or helpful towards someone who is pleading for help and asaure that it will be one time mistake and not causing any loss to them, i honestly wanted a booking for 19th and 20th, which i did book today as i do not have any other option and need a place to stay, so i had to book it. But it will be my last business with oyo.

                                        I made a reservation with oyo yesterday. My booking id is aukq5243.
                                        The hotel denied us entry saying there was no room available.
                                        If there was no room available, how can oyo book it??
                                        Then, when we called oyo customer service, they could not resolve the issue. We were standing outside hotel at late night from 10 to 1 and your team could not find a way either to resolve issue or get us another booking.
                                        Also there is no empathy for customers, it is sad and pathetic.
                                        I need my refund immediately and also compensation for the pain i had to go through because of lack of efficiency on your behalf.
                                        I have tried calling customer care numerous times and they still cannot find a way to pay the money back.
                                        I hope you have the decency to reply to this email. I was a loyal customer but i will never use oyo again.

                                        A truly aggravated customer!
