Defect : - My Philips Electric Shaver bought on 17.01.2019 has developed a defect in the rotary blade casing within seven months use. Metallic strands coming out of the blade casing & injuring my skin while shaving.

The electric shaver is under a 2 year warranty. On the product box it is printed in bold 'Long Lasting Blades' and in the enclosed Instructions it is recommended to replace the shaving heads every 2 years.

I sent mail on 31st Aug 2019 to customercare.[protected]@philips.com and attached 1)product warranty invoice dated 17.01.2019 2)Amazon Invoice and 3) defective product jpg images for your reference.

Received reply from Philips that rotary blade and casing is not covered under warranty.

Eleven mails have been exchanged since 31st Aug 2019 and on 19th Sep 2019 their reply has been:
'we have forwarded your case to our concerned team for further clarity.
We will get back to you with clarification at the earliest.'

Philips India is refusing to replace Defective component under Warranty and simply taking time and then replying that blade / cover can not be replaced because they are parts subject to wear and tear.

I have been pressing the point that :
The rotary blade Cover is defective and hence I am asking for its replacement. The defect has not appeared due to wear and tear o[censored]se but because of inherent manufacturing defect.

I AM ASKING FOR REPLACEMENT OF DEFECTIVE COMPONENT UNDER WARRANTY.

I am very much dissatisfied with Philips India quality of product and quality of Customer Service.
Philips India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
You have notified Philips India Customer Support about the posted complaint on 17/10/19.
But till date (1/11/19) there is no response from Philips to me .
REMINDER No 2
It is 24/11/19 and till date there is no action from Philips as well as from Indian Consumer Complaints Forum.

    I have made a online customer service request for my Philips TV set display change which was out of warranty. Now it is nearly 1 month i am yet to receive this TV repaired. I even tried to contact with Philips customer care [protected] and service centre at vikhroli (mumbai) many a times and every time i was only given fake assurance that my TV set will be dispatched the next day. Request to kindly intervene in this issue as urgent as possible

    We purchased Philips 43 led smart TV in 2017 July. Now this is not working and not display on. The authorized service man of Philips company said that the flash IC of TV is not working.       I purchased the phillips powerbank from flipkart, after using several months its otg cable which came with the product is not working. I tried contacting phillips by registering the product on their website and to claim warranty i even send the email via their platform to generate the support ticket (#222696), and tried 10 times on their given number[protected], but they never responded.
      I sent email again, but no response. I called on general customer care but no help i got.
      I even gave them proof of purchase in the send email ticket.
      The emial sent and receive was to philips displays & audio consumer care team (India).
      I need either they repair my powerbank and replace the otg cable or they provide me with new powerbank or they refund my money.
      I attached the original invoice, i also sent this to phillips india.

      General number:[protected], i called this number but no help i received.
      Philips India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

        I have purchased 48PFL4150 from PE electronics on 12.08.2015.

        On 25.7.2018 I had display problem black screen, I have tried to contact customer care number but it is not working, I called service centre and they gave me customer care number and I raised a complaint number HYD[protected], with out attending company closed complaint, I gave another complaint HYD[protected] which is still pending from more than one year, company phones and emails are not working from six months. I have recorded voice calls of customer care and some executives of Philips.

        It’s been less than 6 months since I purchased this iron and it is the third time I’m facing a problem with it. Heating issues is what I’m generally facing with it. The iron box is not heating at all and even after getting it checked in the past. Kindly look into this issue At the earliest

            I have purchase philips led tube rod for my factory, these led tube rod when i purchase, philips had said that product is 2 year guarantee, after some time when some led rod are not glow, i have book complaint, service er. Said that product is only one year guarantee. It means credibility gap in philips. Servicing is very poor, product quality is very poor.

              I had submitted my headphones for replacement with reference no tc[protected] on 17th september 2019 they told me i will get my headphones within 15 days, when i called them after the tenure of 15 days no one was picking the calls (Miraroad philips service center in razaz mall) so i contacted the customer service they told me to contact brijesh the head of area i called him he said it will max take more 7 days n then forgot to call back when i called him back today he said nai aya tho hum kya kare aur 7 ya 10 din lagega quite irresponsible and lame language he was using so i called the customer service again and asked for an complain email id to which he (Subod named guy who called brijesh as sir in every second line) gave me customer support i'd and told me to mention other tc number n not the original one which i got through msg which means things are not right with philips and people too, philips is becoming a bakda company stop trusting it guys now there are many competitive options

                I bought a smart tv 49" model 49put7690/v7 in july 2016. The price i paid was of smart tv. I did not have a high speed internet then but i got 40mbps six months back. Since then, i have been trying to use netflix, hotstar, amazon prime etc on your tv. But nothing is working. Your tv gives error message. I contacted customer care 3 months back. Since then, i have been promised of corrective action by you but nothing has happened till date.
                I have paid price of smart tv and i have been duped by selling ordinary tv.
                My patience has given way. I can not wait any further. If the problem is not set solved right away or if the tv cost is not refunded, i will have to approach other means of addressing my plight.

                  I registered a complaint regarding malfunctioning of my led tv on 19/08/2019 with complaint no.[protected]. It has stopped working now. Even after one month of complain and repeated reminders, my problem is unattended. Even philips executives have stopped responding to my mails. It is very mentally harassing living without a tv in this digital world and this is happening due to pathetic service of philips. This is my final try to get my issue resolved, otherwise i would not be left with any other option rather than complaining in consumer court.

                    This complaint is regarding led tv purchased 5-6 years ago. It suddenly stopped working. It will not be under warranty but i want it to get repaired from philips technician only rather than some some guy. So, requesting the company to arrange a technician visit to my home for checking of tv and the charges it apply in order to get repaired. And further telling it not an smart tv but just a normal tv.

                      I have purchased Philips SHE1505BK earphone last year i.e. 11th October 2018 from Paytm order ID [protected]. At the time of purchase, the product was quoted with 1 year warranty on the Paytm as well as on the other sites such as Flipkart and Snapdeal etc.

                      But in 2019, the similar model's warranty period is changed to 6 months from the date of purchase. Now to claim my warranty the Philips support is telling me that there is only 6 months warranty on the product. Even though i have the valid bill, they are demanding the proof of warranty i.e. the warranty card which i don't have anymore. The service center is also demanding warranty card and not accepting the valid bill which i have.

                      My concern is that they are not accepting the fact of 1 year warranty and they are fooling the customers just because they want a warranty card. I've mailed them a lot along with the attached bill and the proof of 1 year warranty i.e. screenshots of different sites where it is clearly mentioned that there is 1 year warranty on the product. But they are not helping me. I need to claim my warranty before 11th October 2019.

                      I'm attaching the bill and screenshots of proof of 1 year warranty. Please help me ASAP!

                        I'm complaining about the Philips steam iron 1900 series and its model number is GC1905.
                        It is under warranty period of two years. Iron plates do not provide heating properly due to some problem inside it.
                        I purchased it through Flipkart in the month of May 2019. Please take the faulted steam iron from our address which is given during booking of order through Flipkart.

                          There are black shadow on the screen and the same issues from last 4 years. Tv is under extended warranty. First year it was free but now they are charging 2000. 4 times they have repaired it but issue is still there. Now from last 3 weeks tv is in workshop and they are kept asking for more days. The same work shop who took tv repaired hardly a week prior. I have sent 100 emails but rare response from philip's. They keep asking for details but not providing solutions. Eve cut the call in between. I am really really frustrated with pathetic service by a brand. Either provide ultimate solution for the issues or refund me money or replace the tv.

                              Dear mr harshal chhatbar (& phillips india head customer support team)

                              Greetings!

                              Since i am unable to get a helpful response from your first-line customer support/service team, i am turning to you as a last resort. I own a phillips led tv (Model no: 55put7791-fda) purchased on[protected] and it’s still under phillips extended warranty (Warranty card attached)

                              This tv is having a display issue with complete black screen since june 2019.

                              When i booked the service request through service complaint no:[protected] and your service engineer named mr firoz visited my residence on[protected]. He diagnosed the television and after few minutes he informed us that the display is dead and its need to be replaced. He further verified the warranty card and the invoice, he assured us that your tv is still under phillips extended warranty and it will be replaced free of cost by the company (Phillips, india). He further stated that he will submit this diagnosed report to his office and then the senior team will review your warranty and order the parts once approved. We paid him the visiting charges of rs.1800/- (One thousand eight hundred only) in total for his 2 visits (Attached invoice)

                              I have confronted them on several occasions through calls and email, but my requests have been ignored. When i ask your customer service team over a call to enforce the restriction, they say they will, but they do nothing. I can enclose copies of my last emails whenever asked, along with the photographs/videos of the television.

                              On one occasions, your customer service team has informed us that the company had shut down its television operations and they are refunding the entire cost to the customers. They have also asked my bank’s credentials and other supporting documents to process the refund. I have shared everything that they demanded and again to utter dismay all my attempts were failed to resolve this issue.

                              I write you in the hope that you can persuade your phillips customer support team to honor all the terms of its warranty with me. On numerous occasions i have tried to discuss the situation with the customer support team through calls and emails, but they are unwilling to cooperate.in short, i cannot solve the problem myself, and i want to avoid hiring a lawyer unless it becomes absolutely necessary.

                              I can enclose all the copies of the calls, emails, warranty and documentation which i did already in the past proving that your customer support team has violated their commitments on several occasions. Unfortunately, this regrettable performance reflects poorly on your entire corporation. I request your assistance in resolving this problem. If i can supply any other information, please call me at +91-[protected] or +91-[protected].

                              I trust you will look into this matter and see that proper action is taken to uphold the law and preserve the beauty of your company policy standards. I will gladly do what i can to be of assistance.

                                Philip's newly purchased rice cooker not working, tried to connect customer care but same is not reachable from last 5 days, it has been only 2 months we purchased the cooker, very pathetic experience with Philip's service number, no body responding properly, toll free numbers are not at all working, in future we won't buy any Philip's products

                                  I am induction based home user because i keep travel.
                                  I have 2 inductions which is complete dead and in warranty.
                                  When i raised a complaint with phillips they are not providing me service and asking for money for service and giving reasons that i am using that product for commercial basis.

                                  Technician visits my home and kept both induction open reason he said that they are wet inside once they are dry they will start working.

                                  As a software engineering background i can not assemble it and test whether they are working or not and they are still kept open

                                  Now product guarantee will over at 29th august 2019 and i am still waiting for repair when asking for updates they are asking money for service.

                                      I have registered a complaint on 2nd of august 2019, due to my induction was not working & in warranty period, after that tom & jerry chase starts, customer care executives constantly saying only one thing, that u will get the resolution in 24 hours bla bla bla.
                                      But they closed my complaint on their own & created a new one after a week by their own...
                                      No one is ready to call or respond from their service center

                                      The following complaint i have registered on 2nd of august, which they closed on their own.

                                      "dear mr/mrs mohammad iqbal, your philips product service request 60-[protected] has status service in process and technician is assigned."

                                      The following complaint they have created on their own after closing my previous complaint on 10th of august,

                                      "dear mr/mrs mohammad mohammad iqbal, your philips product service request 60-[protected] has status service in process and technician is assigned."

                                      But until now they r making us fool only.. & not getting any resolution,
                                      I'm in a shock that such a big company like philips giving poor service like any other local brands

                                        Dear sir,
                                        From 20 days i tried your toll no. And email id but no one is willing to receive calls and reply on my mail. How customer like me will register there complaints.
                                        There is very complication in finding your service centre detail and your customer care executive.
                                        Phillips brand is very good brand but shame for his service. Learn from havells and other company...
                                        Finally i request to to arrange a call for me and register my complaint and resolve it... Plese... Please
